Negative experience: My dentist cuts my gum it wouldnt stop bleeding i called them so they can have a look they said its normal but didnt stop bleeding so i had to go hospital and the next day i went he blamed on my brushing absolute disgrace. I also called them again because my teeth was hurting they said we kicked you out because i reported them a joke of a dentist

She used the Airflow system during the cleaning, and the difference it made was like night and day. My teeth have never felt this clean—every bit of buildup was completely gone, and the results were immediately noticeable. You can tell she’s incredibly skilled and takes real pride in her work. What really stood out was how welcoming and non-judgemental she was. She took the time to talk me through my brushing technique and even recommended different toothbrushes and mouthwashes to help improve my routine going forward. It didn’t feel rushed or clinical—she genuinely cared and wanted to help. Even the receptionist was lovely and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The whole experience was positive from start to finish. Highly recommend—for both the quality of the clean and the quality of care!

Fantastic experience: I visited Happy Smiles Dental Clinic for the first time recently and as soon as I walked up the stairs I was greeted with a happy smiling welcome from the three young ladies who were there. It was explained to me what I needed to do before being seen by the Dental Surgeon. The Female Dentist Rose was caring and professional as she went through all of the procedures that was required. The Dentist is conveniently located on the Wood Green High Street, close to all ranges of shopping outlets and very close to bus stops and wood green Tube Station. Based on how well I was looked after, what I was offered and the care received I would highly recommend this Dentist.

Fantastic experience: An outstanding level of care and treatment that I received from Dr. Rose and Nurse Maira. To my surprise, Dr. Rose discovered that I had a cavity and that 3 other molars were showing signs of the beginning of cavity formation. Dr. Rose kindly made time to give me a filling during the appointment and applied sealant over the cavity formations, which I was very appreciative of. Usually, the saliva ejector makes me quite nervous, but Nurse Maira was extremely gentle. I look forward to my next visit :)

Negative experience: I had a very painful and frustrating experience with this clinic. After a filling last year, I suffered months of pain that was repeatedly dismissed. They told me I was referred for a root canal, but I later found out it was never done—so I waited over 6 months for nothing. Even when I followed up multiple times, they failed to properly check and didn’t realize the referral wasn’t made. I had to take antibiotics on two separate occasions, which affected my health and the pain continued. Worst of all, no one apologized or made any effort to offer an alternative or take accountability. Poor communication, lack of follow-up, and zero accountability. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.

Negative experience: I have a terrible toothache and my friend sent mevto happy smiles dentist. They asked if I have an appointment so I explained I have a terrible toothache if I can be registered and get the tooth extracted. A rude receptionist gave me a card to get registered through an email, but it would take couple of months before they can extract the tooth. What a joke, a painful, broken tooth must wait for couple of months to get it extracted. Better in my Africa. Same day extraction, no stories. They are liars, look how they lied in the below response. As if they offered me an appointment. Not true at all. The 2 receptionist were themselves rude, stating they cannot help and that I must register myself online. I have already complained about this dentist to the Integrated Care System for being rude towards customers refused treatment.

Fantastic experience: Recently I visited Happy Smiles and I felt very happy with my choice! The receptionist was very helpful and she did her best to book me an appointment on the same day, as I had a severe toothache!! Dr Hikmet was very professional and very clear with the procedure.

Negative experience: I have been with them for 15 years minimum. They service level kept going down and now is awful. Dentist doesn’t want to do anything herself always refers you to somewhere small tiny room lack of equipment it really says it all! Currently looking for another dentist.

Negative experience: This is an establishment that has had someone speaking Turkish for over a decade when calling the reception team, my parents are elderly with very little English, it was fortunate that I was around to intervene in the phone call about my dads future appointments for his treatments. Straight away I was spoken to in a derogatory way when I asking ‘my dad was wondering when his teeth will be ready for a fitting’ all being I didn’t know the term ‘dentures’ to use correctly. I then proceeded to ask if there will be someone speaking Turkish on the reception or going forward will this not be the case - very harmless question intended to clarify for future reference, I was responded to with ‘when you call your GP is there someone speaking Turkish’ - given the context and the decade of this being the case in this Dentist I didn’t think my question was out of the ordinary, this person then continued on a defensive attack mode basically saying you can interpret for them if they can’t speak English (obviously it was a longer conversation with much more arrogant remarks) - firstly it isn’t even advised by the NHS for someone that is not trained to interpret (I know from previous experiences) and for the assumption that someone is always around my parents when the bare minimum is to provide this service? I was absolutely taken back by the bully demeanour this person had and honestly I don’t know how this is accepted to be normal.

I trust him intrinsically with my heart, and the fact that he is actually from the country where I am from, makes me 100% more confident in his care and abilities. The easy going atmosphere is what I surprised and their knowledge of each service is assuring you that will get the right treatment towards your specific needs.They all seem to work in a timely and efficient manner with a good attitude which makes me feel loved!

Even after I confessed to him that in addition to an accident I suffered, I also have a bit negative experience from my previous dentist he said he would have known it if I hadn’t told him as my oral condition was not good!
