Fantastic experience: My recent visit to the practice was for a complex procedure. I was welcomed as usual by the friendly staff on reception. My dentist, Gus, was very reassuring and filled me with confidence, and the dental nurse supporting him put me at ease. I am very impressed with the level of expertise, and availability of all the latest technology at the surgery. I think we are very fortunate to have such a practice in Huddersfield.

Fantastic experience: Well 2 hours in the chair for a crown, no pain and watching modern technology work it's magic was fascinating, all good quite enjoyed it to be fair.

Fantastic experience: I was in for a deep descaling with Jules, done over 2 weeks. The first week, Jules was impeccable, I never felt a thing and good music playing in the background, Jules asked me what music I liked and I told her I like Metal. Week 2 and and I am in the chair having my descaling to a soundtrack of Iron Maiden!! Jules went above and beyond to make my appointment more relaxed! The staff at Smiles in Tandem are very professional but also put you at ease. If anyone is looking for a dental practice, you won't get better than Smiles in Tandem!!

Fantastic experience: Today's appointment was really good. I learnt a lot, saw my crown being produced in a fascinating machine . Then it was processed in a kiln before being fitted. The machines and thorough explanation by cheerful,friendly , staff added to an all round brilliant,and pain-free, experience. We discussed how archeological studies use similar equipment and talked about laser printers. If only going to the dentist had been like this when I was a child..... my experience today rates at 10/10...a gold star .

Fantastic experience: Always a positive experience. I have attended this practice since it opened (originally as Grayes Dental Care) and had the same dentist until her recent retirement. I recently had an appointment with a new dentist who I found to be kind, helpful, caring and professional. All the staff have always been exceptional, which is testament to them treating my family, father, self, husband, daughter and grandchildren, going back at least three decades. I can’t recommend them highly enough, they are excellent.

Fantastic experience: I've had 18 years of excellent dentistry here. It's seen some changes in the last couple of years, becoming Smiles and my dentist retiring, but honestly I can't fault it. Everyone I've ever dealt with has always been polite, professional and highly skilled, and there is always a warm welcome. My daughter has never once been anxious about her dental appointments, from age 6 months to 17 years. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: From the initial phone call there was a welcoming, friendly and professional approach. It can be daunting making contact and visiting the dentist but I would like to reassure anyone who feels that way ( myself included) that it was anything but. Karl has great expertise, puts patients at ease and makes the whole experience painless. Jules and Emma also make visiting the hygienist a positive experience.

I definitely recommend, the best dental clinic in England in my opinion, after several I tried up and down the country. I was back at Smiles for a difficult extraction. Again Karl demonstrated he was as professional as ever. He also showed a generosity I wasn't expecting. Ultimately the tooth was extracted with the minimum of fuss and discomfort. So thank you again Karl

Fantastic experience: Yet again very impressed with my visit today. Dav and Georgi made me feel relaxed. I was confident with Dav's expert knowledge. He explained everything to me and was exceptionally considerate when carrying out the treatment. He took the time to listen to my concerns, and was very understanding of my situation. The receptionist was also very welcoming. I don't believe anyone truly likes a visit to a dentist but I would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: A few days ago I was treated for an infection, which required an extraction and a filling which came to light following a dental check up. The work was done speedily and professionally, with every stage explained. I was given good advice for after care, and the discomfort from the infection died down after a few hours.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank the team at Smiles in Tandem from receptionist to dentist . My journey started with Mrs grey who was so patient and caring knowing how nervous I was , I’ve always been scared of dentists. My hygienist Juliette is extremely patient she makes sure I am comfortable before starting any kind of procedure. Aniesa and Mandy spent a back breaking 4hrs on my teeth composite bonding, I love my teeth and I can smile with confidence again thanks to all the team who worked together in teaching me how to properly clean and maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from the team at Smiles In Tandem - Had a problem with my back tooth having bitten down on a hard chip of all things. Had suffered with intermittent pain for over a week and kept putting off seeing someone (I always worry about going to the Dentist) - As the bank holiday loomed ever closer and I didn't want to be in pain over the bank holiday I spoke with Karl at Smiles, He managed to fit me in at really short notice and did a thorough check and re assured me there was nothing to worry about and it would ease over the next few days. From someone not so long ago who wouldn't go near a dentist Karl and the team at Smiles really go out of their way to look after you and I would recommend them to anyone who has problems and is too worried to be seen . Fantastic experience: Well, Smiles In Tandem Indeed! I attended for a check up and hygiene appointment. And it was smiles all round from the staff. I mentioned I had chipped my tooth and broken another and that I was attending a wedding two days later. After my initial appointments, Aniesa fitted me in and made me a special appointment for me to come back in an hour and a quarter later to do my white fillings. I am over the moon. Both her and Georgi left me smiling from ear to ear. A big thanks to everyone at Smiles In Tandem. I am now So looking forward to smiling at the wedding, and no hiding from the camera either.

Fantastic experience: I visited the clinic today for an emergency extraction and was greeted by the receptionist, Louise, who made me feel relaxed and reassured me due to my nerves about the situation. The dentist, Karl, is one of the nicest dentist’s I’ve had the pleasure of meeting - very informative, he made me feel comfortable by having normal conversation with me and a little joke too. The procedure was quick and the aftercare advice was amazing too. I highly recommend this dental practice as it’s staff are very welcoming and friendly. 10/10 experience and will be using this practice in the future.

Fantastic experience: Always greeted with a polite hello never have to wait long to be called in to see the dentist and then a polite chat with me before getting on with my examination. Talks you through everything they are about to do before hand The Dental practice is very clean as you would expect situated on main road easily accessible to front and parking at the rear. If you’re a nervous person going to the Dentist you will be looked after made to feel at ease and welcomed by all the staff in the practice. I had a lot of issues with my teeth and after half a dozen treatments I now have teeth that I dreamed of and I can smile now and talk to people and it’s given me my confidence back to do so.

Dr. Gus has provided outstanding, gold-standard care to my 15-year-old daughter, who has a deep fear of dentistry and needles. What truly sets Dr. Gus apart is his ability to alleviate my daughter’s fears, making her feel comfortable and confident during every appointment. The entire experience at Smiles in Tandem has far surpassed anything we've encountered before, and the staff are equally wonderful. The reception team was welcoming, friendly, and efficient, making the process smooth from start to finish. We are so grateful for Dr. Gus and the entire Smiles in Tandem team – they have truly transformed our view of dental care.

Fantastic experience: Coming from Canada I was really apprehensive about finding a dentist that I could trust and feel comfortable with, and thought I would have to travel to Manchester to find someone that measured up. After doing a lot of searching I discovered Smiles in Tandem. Not only are they respectful, friendly and approachable they are experienced in the most up to date techniques. After my first visit, I felt like I was treated professionally , as an individual, and all my questions were answered fully. My treatment plan was discussed with me so no hidden surprises, and I could ask what questions I wanted. This practice is friendly, listens, and is experienced in the most modern dental techniques, plus they treat each patient with respect, and are approachable and friendly. . Due to an accident I needed an implant. Again, the most professional attention and care, with a fantastic result. I’m going back to Canada later in the year but won’t be visiting my lovely dentist there, I have found a dentist here that surpasses my expectations! I can’t recommend Karl and his professional staff enough, they are all professional and treat you with the utmost care so I feel like I am a member of their family!
