Negative experience: Called 111 for advise on a tooth issue, Was sent here. Woman on reception was very helpful and fitted me in with no problems, even there being no appointment. When going to the dentist, generally have a fear the woman doing the x rays etc didn’t even seem approachable. The man doing the x ray was very good and helpful. Didn’t like the atmosphere and felt like I was being judged.

Dr Muhammed Patel was our treating dentist who was so friendly, calming and looked after my whole family very well . Catherine recommended us to this practice and looked after us so well,booked our appointments and nothing was too much trouble for her. Very professional and knowledgeable and a asset to the team,a good all rounder Thank you everyone definitely a 5 star clinic !

Fantastic experience: I have been using the practice for a number of years - staff are very professional and always make me feel at ease. Recently had some work done with my receding gums which involved over fillings - truly wonderful - I have gone from eating and drinking on one side of my mouth to completely normal - maybe TMI - but Dr Green and Jade are FAB!!!! Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend this dental practice. I had a dental implant recently, which was a complex procedure due to a bone graft requirement. Saad was amazing throughout all appointments. He explained each stage thoroughly and took good care of me throughout. His assistant Catherine was lovely and supported me through every procedure. Both Saad and Catherine are very professional with a caring nature to help you through your dental procedures! My implant looks amazing and very realistic!

Fantastic experience: Having had a butcher of a dentist during childhood, it left me with a lifelong phobia of any treatment. I only went when the pain became unbearable. As a result I was a very nervous patient. Dr Bhatt (Dr Sexy) and the team have transformed my life, and I'm not saying that lightly. His super calming approach, straightforward explanations of the work needed (in a non judgemental fashion) has helped me immensely in coping with my initial consultation, through to progressing with (for me) extensive correction work. I now have a smile I love to show off and it has boosted my confidence immeasurably. The surgery is spotless, calming and all the staff are lovely. I cannot recommend them highly enough. J.Dignall

Fantastic experience: Went for our 6 month dental check today and met our new dentist Dr Shivani Shah and her dental nurse Jasmin Pal, both were friendly, professional and caring.

Fantastic experience: All the staff here are absolutely amazing, and big shout out to the Welsh lady Dental Hygienist (sorry terrible with names) as this is a treatment am not keen on but she does a brilliant job. Only downside is the car park can be a bit of a tight squeeze but it's not the end of the world.

Fantastic experience: I've got health issues that contribute to tooth decay and difficulty going to the dentists. Dr Green has been very understanding and helped me get to a point where I can consistently live without pain in my mouth for the first time in a decade. My anxieties about coming to the dentist have been accepted and accommodated by Dr Green. Lucy is also a fantastic dental nurse who has made my visits a lot easier and relaxed. All the women on reception have been really flexible helping me get appointments and arrange things around my treatment plan.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rughani and Hailie were very pleasant whilst treating me. I had an extraction with no pain! Hailie thankfully distracted me with good conversation.

Fantastic experience: The staff from the day I walked in were fantastic . Stella bent over backwards to help me. Dr Patel was professional and very kind to an 83 year old pensioner and Catherine was sweet ,kind,and had a great sense of humour. She was also a very good nurse as I am an RN I could easily explain to them what I needed. My teeth look wonderful and I felt no pain. My thanks for a wonderful team . Yours Alicia

Fantastic experience: I’ve used Blaby dentist for a long time but have been particularly impressed with access during Covid and now with NHS dental appointments hard to come by for many people. During the pandemic I needed a couple of urgent appointments, which I got within a day or two. I have since had 2 children and was able to register them soon after birth with the dentist and have regular check up appointments for them. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Thank you for doing a great job.

Fantastic experience: I don’t think many look forward to a visit to the dentist but in my case I’m quite happy to. I’m always treated with courtesy and made to feel comfortable. I have been attending the Blaby practice for a number of years now and thanks to the advice from Dr Rughani T Mackey (apologies if I have spelled your name wrong) and Mrs Gemma Jones, Hygienist, both excellent at what they do.

Fantastic experience: After 18 months of waiting for a referral to the NHS orthodontist, and being told by them we still had 3 years to wait, I booked my daughter an appointment to see Dr Patel privately. What I thought may be considered ‘cosmetic’, ended up being much more that we anticipated and Dr Patel explained everything thoroughly to us including her treatment needs and the importance of getting this started while she is still growing. I cannot thank him enough for his recommendations and expertise.

Fantastic experience: A massive thank you to Dr Viren Patel for his fabulous orthodontic work. My son has had fixed braces to correct his teeth. He is extremely happy with the result and all the treatment he has had. Viren and Catherine have looked after him at every stage. Every step has been thoroughly explained and each process was done in a very relaxed manner. Thanks again to Viren and Catherine for looking after Sam.

Negative experience: I had a very poor experience here and would not recommend. The dentist advised I needed a tooth extraction due to a cracked tooth and referred me to have it done elsewhere. I had no problem being referred as the reasons why seemed to make sense. However, the way that the dentist presented the idea of an extraction to me and the language used did not fill me with confidence that it was even necessary. I felt she was dithering and seemed unsure. I explained this to the dentist whom I’d been referred to and they agreed that it wouldn’t harm for me to get a 2nd opinion from Blaby before going ahead with this irreversible procedure when considering the lack of confidence I had felt in the dentist. When I called to book another slot for a second opinion (paid) with a different dentist the receptionist refused and said that any dentist I saw would agree with each other. Clearly not understanding the concept of 2nd opinions and showing extreme level of arrogance I lost all faith in the ability of this practise and will never be returning here under any circumstances. I would give zero stars but 1 is the lowest unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Really happy with my Botox results .After trying a few places, I now wouldn't go anywhere else. Jess really took her time to put me at ease and listened to what I wanted to achieve. The whole procedure was pain free!! I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the results from my anti wrinkle treatment at Blaby dental practice, would 100% recommend Jess for aesthetics procedures, very professional. I have had the procedure done elsewhere previously and this was my best experience, pain free the results have been amazing.

Negative experience: My wife called them up a week ago to get registered as an NHS patient. She went in today for her first appointment for a mandatory check-up. She was charged £70 without explanation. The NHS band 1 - which is where the check-ups fall under is £25.80. So, I asked her to go back to check on why they charged 70 - then the receptionist had given a break down saying the checkup was 25.80, and she was booked in for two private procedures priced at £380 (which my wife hadn't consented to before - or even informed) and the additional £44.20 (the odd number) was an advance for that future procedures!! At this point I went in to inquire what's this funny business and they were quick to refund the £44.20. Even if future procedures are needed, they had no right to book my wife in for private procedures as she went in as an NHS patient. The dentist himself has not been clear about the future procedures nor has he explained to my wife the observations. All in all, a terrible experience and we will not be going to them again.

Positive experience: Great dental care. Shame the receptionists look down at you if you are an NHS patient.

Negative experience: I recently sent an enquiry on their website and no one got back to me, I phoned to speak to them instead a week later and the receptionist was not helpful. She more or less she didn’t know if anyone had seen my email because it’s not her job, she paused for ages mid conversation so I assume she was distracted with something and overall left me wishing someone else had picked up my call. I had a tooth repair here in 2022 and it was great service but I have also had a night guard in 2023 and had to go back twice because it didn’t fit correctly and was miss quoted over email the price of the service. Overall I’d say my experience had been mixed and I’d say there a better dentists if you’re paying private

Fantastic experience: August 2023 I have just had an implant completed on a front tooth by Dr Sayeed and Catherine his nurse. They are both very kind and give you plenty of reassurance along the way, I’m so happy to be rid of the false tooth, and the new implant is a perfect match against my other teeth, you would never know the difference, I once again feel confident when I smile or when I eat, I can’t explain how much better I feel in myself for deciding to have that initial consultation. I have been using this practice for 13 years and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Thank you Dr Sayeed and Catherine. August 2022 I have been using this dental practice since 2010 for dental and regular hygiene work. The hygienist has become like a friend over the years definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else as I feel confident in the advice and treatment I receive, I now have to travel quite a long way to get there but it’s worth the travel time.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Jade and Jasmine from this practice enough for how they have helped me! As someone who has had bad dental experiences many times in the past I was put off going until things were as bad as they could be. These two have some of brightest, nicest and genuine personalities and will make you feel comfortable and ease any worries you may have. They can do any procedure painlessly (and I have had an array of them recently) with genuine care for how you are doing and are great at explaining the aftercare and answering any questions you have. Honestly can't recommend them enough especially if you have a fear of the dentist, thank you again guys!

So gentle and patient and answered my many queries ( as I am an Invisalign patient ) They were so careful around my attachments and gave lots of advice to keep my teeth in the best health during my treatment. Fantastic experience: Excellent dentists, I was able to join and move across my children from my old dentists which had removed me from their nhs patient list without my knowledge. I came here with a difficult extraction needed and also had a filling, the reception staff have been polite and friendly on every visit and the dentist was understanding that I was very nervous as I have a fear of dentist appointments. I was also easily able to park in the car park at the back and it’s quite a large practice inside.

Blaby Dental Practice have always been great and I have never been anything but happy (well as much as you can be on a dental visit). Fantastic experience: The best dental practise I have ever visited, if I could give 10 stars I would. Telephoned yesterday as saw they were taking on NHS patients. Offered an appointment the next day. Excellent car parking and a modern and well kept building upon arriving. Reception was most helpful during my new patient sign up and directed to wait upstairs. Seen promptly and this is the best dental experience I have had even though seen as an NHS patient. The dentist and nurse were well spoken, explained everything and more than helpful as well as considerate towards me. I loved above the seat the picture of the sky and flowers which I have never seen before. All the equipment was modern and clean and perfect in every way. They really did go above and beyond. I have no hesitation in saying this is by far the best dental trip I have ever had. Please visit this practice, you will never regret it and nor will your teeth! Looking forward to my next visit and I never thought I’d say that even travelling from across the city - its worth it!

Fantastic experience: Wow , I cannot praise this dentist practice enough . Having not been to the dentist for many years and then getting a dreaded tough ache in the middle of the night . I woke up and tried to find an NHS dentist. After many disappointing phone calls to other dentists , I phoned Blaby Dental Practice. Not only were they taking new NHS patients they also offered me an appointment the same day !! Fantastic. . Just got home from seeing Dr Samira , and I cannot tell you how at ease she made me feel , I was so anxious about going , but I had nothing to worry about . Dr Samira explained everything and was so polite . I must also thank Catherine on the reception, again, very welcoming and polite . If my previous dentist had of been this friendly and understanding , I would have never left it as long as I did . I highly recommend Blaby Dentist Practice. Thank you
