Negative experience: Used to be a good dental sugery. But now has a bad dentist who has been working on my tooth ache for over a year now,leaving me still in pain with a temporary root canal filling. The receptionist needs training on her job and is very rude. Not recommended

Fantastic experience: My experience at my Dentist that I’ve been using since I was a child was a good experience, with Staff being Welcoming and professional. - I was impressed with how they handled my nervousness at having an X-ray today, by reassuring me.

Fantastic experience: We are really lucky to have this dentist. They managed to fit me in for two urgent appointments over the summer when they were really busy. The dentists and nurses are kind and brilliant at their jobs, and take great care to make sure you are not in pain. The reception staff are also really friendly and efficient (they even call back when you leave a message!).

Negative experience: Have previously put up with minor inconveniences such as a rude receptionist and waiting ages due to the dentist running late multiple times. But now I believe I am being treated negligently, and I am totally fed up with this dentist. I have has long standing problems with an impacted wisdom tooth, and due to covid and other issues, I really struggled to be seen. When I finally was seen and asked for a referral to get it removed, the NHS dentist forgot and my referral was delayed by a further 6 months. I then requested to move to their other NHS dentist. After a total wait of almost 4 years to get the wisdom tooth out at hospital, very predictably, the tooth it was pressed against has began to decay. On my most recent visit I expressed multiple times I want to save that tooth, as I fear having to get it removed will leave a huge gap and cause my jaw bone to receed. The second NHS dentist's plan of action seemed to be to leave it to rot further, then remove it. He said it was now not treatable due to being under the gum line. I have since complained about this, and received a letter from the dentist stating he offered treatment at my most recent visit, which is an outright lie. To say I'm glad to have left SmileOne is an understatement.

Fantastic experience: As usual I had a very positive experience when visiting SmileOne Dental today. All the staff who dealt with me were helpful and reassuring. Ramesh is extremely professional and explains exactly what the treatment needed involves as he proceeds. Am very happy with this dental practice.

Positive experience: Although an email problem had occurred over my forms, reception staff were kind and helpful throughout. I know I am lucky to still be an NHS patient and was grateful to have X-rays taken but the routine examination itself seemed very short. However, the dentist who treated me took care and was excellent at communicating the condition of my teeth and the way forward. All staff were courteous and friendly.

Positive experience: All went well for the work done to a tooth. Only I am not sure exactly what was done - a partly broken tooth built up again. I thought that it was NHS treatment - cost £27.40 but was asked to pay over £100 as private treatment. However I never agreed to this so am a bit puzzled and unhappy about it

Fantastic experience: I have the highest confidence in my treatment. But why a nearly three month gap between my reporting the breaking of my denture and the date of the appointment I was given? Reception not understanding the situation, perhaps? Back-up appointment to repair a filling followed swiftly after. No problems.

Negative experience: I went for a check up in January 2024 where it was decided that my wisdom tooth needed removing. I phoned in March to check that the referral had been sent and was advised I needed to come in for an XRay (no one had told me this). I came for the Xray in March and phoned again in July to check the status of the referral. I was told that the dentist had not approved the referral still. I went for another check up earlier this year where I was told the referral was sent in November. I have just phoned the hospital who is taking out my wisdom tooth and been told that I will have to wait 18 months to have the wisdom tooth removed. Had the referral been sent after my original appointment in January, I should have had the tooth removed by now. I am in pain and constant issues with the wisdom tooth. Communication has been very poor from the start, and I can’t understand how there was an 11 month delay in sending my referral off.

Fantastic experience: I've been an NHS patient here for over four years. I'm pleased to see the same receptionist here (there's been very rapid turnover, and I'm so glad the current one has stayed!). My dentist Haran is really super lovely, he's calm, thoughtful and has made some great decisions to try and help me navigate a lot of teeth issues in the last few years. I was especially impressed with the way he handled my fear and stress earlier in the year- he really was super diplomatic and skilled. As well as being really good at explaining and technically very deft and professional. I no longer fear my check ups and actually look forward to seeing the team, who are SO nice. Thanks team, keep up the great work! It's not surprising they're not accepting patients right now- they're very good indeed. I feel extremely lucky and grateful to be at this practice.

Negative experience: Although visiting appointments for the hygienist I was told I am no longer registered NHS due to not having a quick routine dental appointment. Flatly refused to be put on the waiting list for NHS. Happy if you want to be private!!

He is such a careful, exacting practitioner, and has looked after me for over 15 years now. From implants to now this care of my original teeth, his skill is astonishing. Thank you Ramesh!

Fantastic experience: Just had the final appointment of an implant process today. Each step of the way was carefully described and explained to me. I found Ramesh to be clear, patient and approachable throughout. I was surprised at how little discomfort I felt at every stage. I'm sure that being relaxed because I was in capable professional hands was part of the reason.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with SmileOne Dental practice now for about 10 years. Having previously flitted from dentist to dentist, I’ve happily stayed with this one for the longest time yet! Ramesh is brilliant. He’s very thorough, talks you through every stage of any process, and really makes you feel at ease, whatever is going on inside your mouth. Over the years I’ve had 2 implants, which have transformed my life, and have also used their teeth whitening process. I can confidently say my mouth and my smile are in better shape now than they were 10 years ago!! Thank you Smile One and thank you Ramesh.

Been coming here for years and met not one dentist but many that cope with my anxieties around being in the chair, visited yesterday for my check up and advised to visit the hygienist. Took the bull by the horn booked and visited again today. He explained each step and answered all my questions. His nurse Laura is excellent too and a very calming presence.

Negative experience: Feel very lucky to still have NHS dental care. Great dentist and hygienist..... a filling came out last week and they managed to fit me in today and put a temp filling in straight away. 5* treatment :-) Above is the review I left a month ago.... unfortunately since then a permanent filling has been put in and caused horrible toothache requiring the tooth to be pulled. I attended three weeks ago and agreed with the dentist to assess how it was in a couple of weeks. Came for the follow up appointment today in significant pain and asked for the tooth to be pulled and they can't do it for three weeks. Really upset, in pain and don't know what to do now.
