Bilborough Dentist Practice

Negative experience: Genuinely concerned about this practice. They will charge for NHS check ups without providing any care. I attended and paid for multiple NHS “check ups” here, where I explained I had concerns about my tooth. Each time the dentist did an extremely brief check, stating no treatment needed, despite my symptoms getting worse with each visit. I eventually found space at a new NHS dentist who on the first visit stated I needed urgent treatment and promptly referred me to the hospital and gave the area a deep clean, nothing like this had been done by Bilborough Dental Practice (who I’d seen regularly up until this point). I tried to raise a complaint with the practice manager which proved to be an impossible process. I truly believe this dental practice is taking advantage of NHS payments without providing any care.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Sorin Campeanu for years as an NHS patient and have always received great treatment. I go for general check ups, hygienist appointments and have also paid as privately for teeth whitening which was really effective. The whole team are friendly and efficient, making the whole process easier. Would definitely recommend Sorin and the whole team.

The receptionists always greet me with a smile, and Sam is brilliant. My children look forward to also going. I had a filling issue once that was resolved swiftly. Amazing

Dentist Sarah Nassar is always lovely, professional, and listens and hears what you say, and responds with good advice, and she cares, as does her lovely Assistant Nurse. Definitely recommend, as they also offer Saturday appointments.

I hope that the company realise just how good she actually is. Sam, the dentist, was lovely, she was informative and helpful, the entire procedure (replacement filling) was efficient and completely pain free! Always a good sign. They take their time, use humour & really put me at ease. (Made better with medication!) I can’t believe I’m writing this, but finally I have found a dentist I can recommend! Fantastic experience: Receptionist was warm and polite. Even kind. I was absolutely blown away by the thoroughness and professionalism of the dentist and assistant nurse. Previous dentist were unwilling to help with my issue and kept pushing for a course of treatment which was uncertain to work. This dentist looked at it from all angles and did a proper diagnosis and took his time to explain all the pros and cons and weighed all options of potential treatments, ruling out one of them. Open and honest about it all. I'm sticking with this one.

Negative experience: Dentist that dealt with my partner was completely rude, very unprofessional moaning about having to see to nhs patients rather then his private patients Telling my partner he doesn’t have time to sort his problem, saying he was losing money because he can’t see his private patients because his too busy doing nhs patients, We got a second opinion since and they was disgusted about this man’s terrible rushed work and his professionalism! Receptionists was great, extremely kind, very respectful and answered all our questions! They was Absolutely perfect! Unlike the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of this practice for many years now and couldn't be happier. The practice itself is always clean and tidy on every visit. All the staff are exceptionally welcoming and offer comfort and reassurance to nervous or anxious patients (such as myself), when needed. Jasmine (reception) is particularly outstanding in her role and always makes me feel at ease when visiting. Bex (dental assistant/nurse) is also lovely and was an impeccable support to me during a long, progressive period of relentless treatment a few years ago. Sorin (dentist) is exceptional, and I would now, never, seek treatment from an alternative practitioner. His patience with difficult or lengthy treatments is noticeable, as is his passion and commitment to his profession. He's reassuring and somewhat funny which aids in putting you at ease if your nervous. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Sorin is a superb dentist, the best I have ever had in my life ( I'm a Pensioner so I've had a few ! ) The only slight downside is that the Reception and Nursing staff are different every time, so no chance to build up any rapport, I believe this is down to them working across multiple surgeries

Sabina Gul Khan is an amazing dentist, she explains everything regarding your teeth extremely well and having just been for an extraction, I didn't even know that she had removed the tooth. Thank you so much Sabina! The reception staff are very friendly and they go out of their way to provide you with reassurance. On this occasion I was given a cancellation which meant my appointment could take place earlier than anticipated. The Reception Team are consistent in their approach. They are both very professional, and always offer a warm welcoming smile & great service. They work hard & have gone above & beyond to help me for which I and my husband remain very grateful.
