Norfolk Square Dental Practice, Brighton Denplan Dentist

Negative experience: I came here some years ago for a painfull tooth problem and was seen by owner(Hassani). He ignored the tooth which had a problem when I insisted I was in pain and needed treatment and wanted to treat another one which had no problem. Completely bypassed my needs as a client. He said the one he wanted to treat required a root canal and crown( more interesting for him financially) I went to another dentist who treated promptly the painfull tooth. Meanwhile, after all these years, the one he insisted to root canal and crown or remove is still standing, problem free. Pleasant manners but not competent at solving tooth problems.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dentist. The whole team were so friendly and welcoming. I had two fillings done and the process went smoothly, he explained everything before starting and kept me informed on what was happening the whole time. I’m glad I moved here from my previous dentist

Fantastic experience: My dad loves this practice he’s always praising the staff. He’s often nervous but the physicians, nurses etc often make him feel more relaxed. He often times talks about the way he’s being welcomed and cared for each time he has an appointment at the hospital. Thanks to all of you for looking after my dad.

Fantastic experience: I honestly had such a great experience at New Church Road Dental Practice. I’m usually a bit nervous about going to the dentist, but everyone there made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I walked in. The reception team was so friendly and welcoming, and the place itself is super clean and calming. My dentist was amazing, really patient, gentle, and explained everything so clearly before doing any work. I never felt rushed or unsure about what was happening, and the whole appointment was surprisingly easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find a dental practice where you actually look forward to going back, but this one definitely changed my mind. Can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I used to be a nervous patient before I met my dentist Davinia - I just can't recommend her enough! She is so diligent, patient, attentive and caring. After a really thorough examination, she spent an equal amount of time explaining what my options were and listening to what I wanted for my teeth. As a neurodivergent person, I find the dentist very overwhelming and intense (for a lot of different reasons) Every person I interacted with was friendly, kind and helpful. In particular my dentist, Monica, was extremely empathetic wonderful and patient with me. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who is intimidated, nervous or otherwise stressed by the prospect of going to the dentist. I wish all medical professionals had her approach!

Negative experience: went here a while back as had some issues with bleeding gums, the dentist diagnosed me with ANUG a very serious gum problem, also said I needed a filling in one of my front teeth. Went elsewhere to have a full check up including x rays and they said there was no signs of a filling being needed and my gums where inflamed but defiantly did not have a serious gum disease issue, just needed to brush better! Avoid this place as they diagnose you wrong.

Fantastic experience: Ended up visiting here for an emergency NHS appointment after breaking a tooth, after that experience I decided to come back for a full checkup after many years of being terrified of the dentist. Since then I have been seen by Davinia who has been the most welcoming and friendly dentist I have ever dealt with. She explains everything to me before doing anything (even taking pictures and showing me so I can understand!), is completely understanding of my fear of the dentists and always ends up being able to make me laugh! I really feel like the team here genuinely care and want the best for you. I was shocked when I looked at my previously broken tooth and couldn't even see where the fix was, so well done!

Negative experience: Phone is always engaged, never respond to emails or voicemails. No way to book appointments online.

Fantastic experience: I joined Norfolk Square Dental as a private patient to get a second opinion on what turned out to be a failed root canal from my NHS dentist at another dental practice nearby after they had advised my my tooth might need extracting. I had an appointment with William, who was really friendly and helpful. He ran some x-rays and saw that my original root canal hadn't been fully completed. I was then referred to Davinia who is the root canal specialist and she is just phenomenal. Her attention to detail in unbelievable and she is very skilled at her work. She manages to lighten the room and make you laugh, even whilst undergoing something as unpleasant as a root canal (for the second time in my case). She completed the root canal and saved the rest of my tooth, took casts and a few weeks later fitted my crown, and advised me on tooth whitening which I had after all my root canal work was finished. Davinia was absolutely incredible the whole way through. My teeth look and feel better than ever thanks to the wonderful team here.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentists usually makes me really anxious so when I had to go get my filling fixed while on staycation in Brighton it was my literal nightmare. But Norfolk dental practice was anything but a nightmare, they made me feel so at ease and it was convenient to book a last minute appointment. Everyone at the clinic was very nice and it was super clean and hygienic. Hoping no more emergency dental situations in the future, but if there were and I was in Brighton again, I’d definitely go back to them. Thanks for making a super stressful time not so bad

He was so stressed but Dr William and his nurse Anastasia were very attentive and made sure he was relaxed throughout his appointment.
