Fantastic experience: Called in for my routine six monthly check up. Greeted by pleasant staff in reception. Clean tidy and welcoming atmosphere. Had a nice chat about everyone's experiences of the Christmas and New year period. After a small delay was called into the dental.suite where my teeth were examined thoroughly and questions asked about my oral hygiene routine. The dentist was very happy with the state of my teeth and nothing needed to be done on this occasion. I paid at reception and was kindly offered an alternative appointment for my husband's upcoming visit as requested by him. The receptionist , Will, even opened the exterior door for me and waved goodbye.

Fantastic experience: I can't be more pleased with Dental Works. Dentist and Hygienist and their staff are professional, highly competent, and friendly, and have done such a good job of massively improving my dental health and educating me on how to maintain that. Reception staff are all highly efficient, and professional. I'm now on a dental plan that is reasonably priced and covers the basics. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I literally went because of my wisdom, it was hurting, they just checked it and gave me nothing for the pain even after explaining how painful it is and how it's affecting my ability to eat and sometimes open my mouth. He just said he was gonna refer me to go take it out which is understandable. And I paid £35 for just checking the teeth and not getting anything to reduce the pain and was told to come back if it get worse , will be given antibiotics, I was expecting to be given it when I went there cause I was in pain so then do I need to come back again and pay the same amount again for just checking it. I felt like I didn't get the treatment for the reason I went which is the pain and I didn't get anything to reduce the pain just a referral which is gonna take a month or more.At least I should be given something to reduce the pain whiles waiting for a referral not tell me to come back if it get worse and then will pay again. Overall the experience was okay, the dentist was nice, however I did not get the service that I was expecting you know because I was expecting to be given something for the pain even though I like the fact that he made a referral for me.

Fantastic experience: I can’t remember the name of the dentist exactly cus it’s a shame I can’t praise him with his name on here, but I’ve had a severe dental phobia for years and always needed to be sedated to have extractions, I really couldn’t wait any longer for a referral to get sedated, so I bravely decided to try without, and the reception team went above and beyond to help me get a quick appointment to have this extraction, everyone made me feel so confident and reassured and the dentist did everything I asked him to to help ease my anxiety, I honestly think he has cured my dental phobia! Fantastic experience: Today I visited Dental Work for my son’s tooth coating, which was done by Dr. Khan, He was very professional, gentle, and made my son feel comfortable throughout the treatment. The work was neat and excellent, and I truly appreciate the care and effort he put in. Highly recommended

Negative experience: I've been coming here since 2008 but it's not the same since they moved it used to be good service when I used to have the owner doing the work on my teeth at the old place now coming back it's wasn't a good experience rude staff I had to have a plate made up and fitted of a cost of £450 which is useless has its so uncomfortable to have in and made my mouth sore cos it's not fitted right I went back and they said it's all ok .it's now put me off going back there the reception staff are joke unprofessional rude and it's all about taking your money in out situation .it's a shame cos it was good practice at the train station

Negative experience: Went to this dentist for a emergency filling, afterwards the tooth felt tender and was turning black at the top. Eventually got to see my usual nhs dentist for a check up, to be told the tooth is loose and can't be saved, it's a possibility the filling caused nerve damage, Had the tooth taken out last week and a imediate partial denture put in. ( this is the tooth next to my front tooth)

Fantastic experience: Dr SJ and his assistant nurse Najibah were great when I went in for my appointment. I have major dental anxiety and they put me at ease and also made sure I wasn’t in pain. They explained what they were going to do, what to expect and what to do if I feel any discomfort or pain. I was told what to expect over the next day and week and to come back just in case of any issues. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr Naseem saw me at very short notice regarding pain on my lower right side and a strange taste in my mouth. I was welcomed by Kelly at reception who was lovely - she registered me promptly and then I was seen shortly afterwards. Dr Naseem explained what was going on, treated me and said to be in touch if the pain returned. Would highly recommend!!

Negative experience: Appauling service and completed rushed and dismissed. My mother asked for an x ray to check for remaining parts of a tooth removed and just injected her with anaesthetic and some gel and sent her on her way. This is a serious issue and needs solving. They don’t want to solve the root of the problem and completely dismissive of non paying customers! Awful

Fantastic experience: I had bonding done with Dr Faizan, he was very friendly and welcoming. Dr Faizan made sure that I was comfortable throughout the treatment, he was vey professional and explained the process thoroughly. He takes pride in what he does and his attention to detail is amazing. I'm very happy with the results :)

Fantastic experience: Went here yesterday for the first time in 10 years and have nothing but good things to say. Had an X-ray done which highlighted some potential issues for a while down the line, but there was no pressure to book treatments, just clear and honest advice and very open pricing. The dentist herself was lovely as was the practice though parking can be a bit tricky so leave plenty of time to find a space!

Fantastic experience: I needed to have a debridement procedure which I wasn't exactly looking forward too. The therapist Laura along with nurse Nanci explained everything in detail which put me at ease. The procedure was far less daunting than I was expecting, with each step explained in detail. I was also expecting to have to do it in two sessions, yet Laura gave me the option to get through it all in one, which I was very pleased about. Having used Dental Works for a number of years for all things from check ups, veneers and hygiene visits, I've always found them to be professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I came in on Friday, because my top denture had cracked. They sent it away for repair on the Monday, as that is when the technician collects. I got a call on Tuesday late morning, to say my denture had been repaired and I could collect at my convenience. I got my denture on the afternoon, but needed an adjustment. They fitted me in without an appointment, Fatima had a look what was wrong, made the adjustment there and then. Now it fits perfectly. I can eat my dinner with confidence. Top marks to all concerned. Lovely people to interact with.

Positive experience: Ive been searching for a nhs dentist and found out on this site that they were taking nhs.I phoned as needed to urgently book a appointment to be told rudely that they are not.Please dont advertise that you are taking new patients. Ive been in pain for a few days .

Fantastic experience: I have been going to dental works for a few years after switching from another MK practice. Dr F Naseem has been brilliant even repairing some botched work, from another practice, for family members on short notice. Always professional and a very friendly atmosphere at the practice. Would highly recommend. Very glad we found here

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs! I was with Dental Works for about six years, usually seeing the same trusted dentist - Dr. Shahzad Naseem. However, on two separate occasions, I ended up with Dr. Faizan Naseem due to my regular dentist being either unavailable or fully booked. The first time I saw Dr. Faizan Naseem, he mentioned costly issues with my teeth that needed urgent attention. Doubtful, I rebooked with my usual dentist without mentioning the issues Faizan had pointed out, who assured me there was nothing wrong. A couple of years later, I saw the younger dentist again, and, remembering the previous experience, I suspected he might say there were issues. Sure enough, he told me I urgently needed two fillings and that, without treatment, I might end up needing a root canal. Surprised and concerned (I take great care of my teeth), I scheduled the fillings at a cost of £240. Unfortunately, due to flooding, I was a bit late, and they informed me I'd lost my £50 deposit and would need to rebook. Feeling frustrated, I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere, and, as I suspected, the new dentist found my teeth in excellent condition and even complimented me on my dental health - he reassured me that I do not need fillings at all. My advice? Avoid Dental Works at all costs!!!!

Negative experience: Where do I start, by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had. It all started with being misquoted on the phone not once but twice on the same day by a person who I was later informed was even a receptionist and was covering for someone and had no idea about pricing and should not have told me anything in relation to treatments or pricing. I came in with severe tooth and gum pain with swelling of the gums behind the two top teeth. A clear sign of infection. The dentist I saw started by examining the mouth, doing x ray’s and spending the next 5 minutes about a chipped tooth from 10 years ago that I did as a kid that was on file and nothing to do with this visit. He seemed to think he knew was was wrong and said he would explain and the end only to go on and tell me he had no idea what it was and that I must have burned my mouth or brushed to hard. Neither of which I did and would know if I had. He had 0 intention to clean the teeth which I was told was included in the appointment price on the phone. I also when coming to the dentist as a child was see the dentist and have a general teeth clean. Apparently you need 3 different people to do 1 job now. He mentioned he had not cleaned teeth in 3 years but would do it anyway at an extra cost due to the misinformed information via phone call. He told me to floss and do salt water rinses and sent me on my way. Bear in mind I had had this pain already nearly 5 days and the swelling got worse. For the next 5 days the pain spread throughout the mouth into my top and bottom teeth leaving me unable to eat solid food for the last 3.5 days. As an athlete this is unacceptable and I’ve lost immense weight. I now cannot sleep due to the pain. The pain is now throughout my jaw and I have much discomfort to talk or move my mouth. My mum who has 0 dental experience could see before I visited the dentist that’s a clear infection. I was charged £75 for an emergency appointment and £45 reduced from £75 for cleaning when they claimed I would need to pay more if I actually wanted anything done. I’ve now been to the doctor who says it’s a clear infection and has prescribed antibiotics before it gets any worse that it is. He’s surprised nothing was done during my visit. The pain, stress & discomfort I’ve been left with from a clear mis diagnosis and extortionate cost is out right wrong. It will be the last time I visit this dental surgery. I see why now my mom only ever saw dr shaz at the praxis throughout the years after her bad experience with other dentists there. Avoid at at all costs unless you wanted to be robbed and left untreated.

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend Dr Faizan to anyone who wants to improve their smile! I was recommended to come and see him after my sister had her Invisalign with him. I wasn’t happy with my front teeth. Dr Faizan talked me through all the options and we ended reshaping my teeth with composite edge bonding. I couldn’t be happier!

Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with Dr Faizan Naseem for the past 5 years and every time I see him whether it be for a check up or a more complex problem, he is always professional and treats me with the utmost care! I am currently going through Invisalign treatment and have had an unfortunate accident which meant I had to lose a front tooth, Dr Faizan removed the tooth to enable me to carry on my Invisalign. Unfortunately, until my Invisalign is done I can’t have a replacement tooth put in. Dr Faizan understood my apprehension of having no tooth for a period of time and included fake looking tooth into my Invisalign guards so I could go about my day to day without having to worry about a missing front tooth. Dental works is fantastic, I highly recommend Dr Faizan Naseem and the team!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Dental works for a number of years now and it is because I have walked away more than satisfied after every appointment. I had an appointment today for something that had been causing me a lot of pain and distress. The service I received was brilliant. I was seen quickly and given lots of reassurance along the way and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Dr Fatima and Dr Faizan are both excellent and very friendly.

As a nervous patient, I was quite anxious about the treatment, but Dr Omar and the whole team were incredibly reassuring. Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Dental works every six months since 2021 . My dentist is Dr Sulakshan Jayatharan and my nurse has been Najibah Ali . My experiences have always been extremely friendly and professional. What ever the treatment it’s been explained very calmly and clearly to me before the start of the procedure. On the 28/8/24 I felt the team at Dental Works went above and beyond for me. Having had the most horrendous night of my life with the most painful toothache I contacted Dental Works at 8am and although they had a full diary they fitted me in by 8.50am . Mouth numbed tooth extracted, pain gone by 9.30am. Can’t thank you guys enough. John

Fantastic experience: I attended my appointment today, very stressed, anxious and nervous, as I always am at my dental visits, however today OMAR totally put me at ease, he gave me a stress ball to squeeze, explained everything each step of the way, I had a bit of a clean and a tooth removed. Fantastic experience: Dear Dental Works, I would like to write a review on my recent treatment (veneers) with Dr Sulakshan Jayatharan. Dr SJ was professional from my first consultation to my final appointment. I was given various options, pros & cons of all options explained. The treatment was well planned and I was given time between procedures to relax my jaw as I suffer with TMJ. I was encouraged to breathe during the injections (there were quite a few), which helped me manage the discomfort. The result was amazing due to Dr SJ’s skill & attention to detail. Negative experience: Firstly they removed my ASD son as he had a meltdown so couldn’t attend the appointment. Then the rest of the family wasn’t informed that they removed all NHS patients. When I spoke to then I had to deal with RUDE unsympathetic staff. No patient care or understanding in this Dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually leave Google Reviews but I was kindly encouraged by the staff at the reception after passing a message on how the dentist I saw was really lovely. So, whilst I am here I just want to say: I normally have Faizan, who is literally the happiest person ever. Literally always smiling. So chilled. Had him as my dentist for a while and can't complain, he just happily gets on with it. Really nice. Then I called up for an appointment and I think Faizan was busy, so I had Fahd. Despite how serious his picture looks on the Dental Works website lol, he was soooooo lovely. So calm and informative, answered all my questions and he was just really lovely. I don't remember the lady's name (who was assisting him) but she was also so lovely. All in all, everyone I've personally had has made my experience very calm. Fantastic experience: Over the last few years I have received the best dental care from Dental works . No other dental surgery has ever picked up on issues that I have or haven’t even noticed that problems that might effect me in the future. Dental works and especially Fatima , shows great attention to detail and care for their patients. The treatment plan is discussed and multiple different options are provided in order to create a plan that fits you. My dental health has never been better . The reception staff are always willing to help and assist. Now I am actually enjoying going to my regular check ups .

My Dentist Omar, is truly an artist when it comes to repairing teeth. And trust me I hate, I mean really hate going to the dentist. Negative experience: I do not recommend this clinic to anyone. I went to the dentist to repair small holes in my teeth 1 2 3 . The dentist took X-rays and it turned out that I had to remove number 8, but the rest was healthy. She directed me to have tooth 8 extracted and said that until I extract tooth 8, she would not repair teeth 1, 2 and 3, which had nothing to do with tooth 8. The rest of the teeth were healthy on X-ray. I had to wait 3 months to have 8 teeth extracted and the condition of 1 2 3 was getting worse. After removing numbers 8, I went for a check-up and now she said that from the same photo taken 3 months ago, numbers 7 and 5 are suitable for root canal treatment, but 3 months ago they were healthy. A new photo has not been taken. 3 months ago they would be healthy in this photo, but not today. Apart from that, she wanted to drag me to many other things. I went to another clinic where a photo was taken of mine and mine to make sure they were healthy. To be clear, this fraudster accepts patients on the first floor. I do not recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I came to Dental Works for Invisalign with Dr Faizan Naseem. Dr Faizan is kind and friendly and made me feel at ease despite me feeling anxious about the treatment process. He explained everything very clearly and made sure I understood and was happy before starting treatment. He showed me what my teeth would look like after treatment using a cool scanner I have never seen at any other dental practice. I would come back to see him even for this alone! I am in the early stages of Invisalign but I am already seeing positive results with my teeth looking straighter and more aligned already. I am very excited to see the end result. I would highly recommend doing Invisalign with Dr Faizan as he is knowledgable, pays attention to detail, warm and treats his patients with lots of care.

Fantastic experience: I joined Dental Works after being at another practice for about 30 years as it changed owners. I was amazed how the technology at Dental Works was so up to date. The Receptionists are excellent, efficient, polite and considerate. Dr Faizan provides the best treatment with consideration and care, especially when I didn’t like going to the dentist, now I am completely accepting of it. Parking is easy and a lovely Cafe next door for a nice treat after your visit Thoroughly recommend the practise.

However this is a wonderful place and some fantastically talented dentists/dental assistants who are kind, listen, and are knowledgeable. The Hygienist who is an absolute gem and gentle man. The reception team are very helpful, friendly and are great at booking appointments at convenient times and know lots about the system and navigating it. Oh and parking is usually quite convenient too! 10/10

Negative experience: I did call for an appointment today but the receptionist told me is that I haven’t been for two years to see the dentist so that they have removed me from NHS patient to a private scheme one I did not know about these rules and I wished that I have been informed before this action been made! I’m disappointed and confused!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental treatment, and I must say, it was a great experience. Dr Shaz and nurse Ioana were both incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. Their care and expertise made me feel comfortable and confident in their hands. Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: Back today for a Crown fitting. It was so straight forward and easy. Having had bad experiences as a child I’m always very nervous. Dr Jay and his Nurse Najibah are so very careful and understand me completely. Can’t fault the practice as all the Staff are very pleasant. Surgery is spotless always.

Fantastic experience: Until I found this practice I had a terrible fear of the dentist. Basically this steamed from childhood. But these guys are so professional I can now go without fear even for root canal work.

Negative experience: Firstly no free parking but not the end of the world. It is true as previous reviews have said, that they try to push unnecessary expensive treatment. My dentist was never anywhere near on time , even when i was his first appointment of the day. The only reason i stuck with them was because i was a NHS patient. Now they are no longer offering NHS treatment i won't be suffering them anymore. If i have to pay private fees, it will certainly not be to them.

Fantastic experience: Dental Works have been incredible, I won't be going anywhere else for my dental healthcare. I joined Dental Works in January after I was in extreme pain with an abscess. They quickly identified the issue, and explained the treatment options. I've now had the root canal treatment and subsequent fillings without issue. Previous metal fillings were replaced with the white composite, and they look so much better. Faizan is my Dentist, and he is great - he was able to put me at ease, clearly explaining the options and then completing the procedures. I never thought I would say I was 'happy' after visiting the dentist, but I really am. I've now moved my husband and our son over to Dental Works and would 100% recommend them to everyone.

Fantastic experience: My daughter saw Priya last week and I would just like to say how great she is. I had an awful experience and she is great with me but my daughter is nervous as she is so sensitive and scared of potential pain. I try and ease her anxiety and explain things Priya was amazing. Priya picked up on how she was feeling, explained things to my daughter and recognised she was nervous. Successfully 2 teeth were extracted and an Injection administered, all without tears and minimal discomfort. I can't commend Priya enough, not everyone is great with people and she is. Please pass on our thanks and gratitude. I have personally been with dental works for over 10 years from a referral and they have definitely improved my fear of dentists. Shaz, Jenny and Priya, all lovely and great.

Positive experience: UPDATE: A much better experience today when I called, the lady was helpful and polite. Dental work is excellent but the experience is let down by the reception staff who are rude and unprofessional, with minimal customer care. I don't normally leave negative reviews but felt strongly about this poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dental Works. I had a crown fitted yesterday by Fatima who was very caring and skilled, as I was very nervous, but I’m really pleased with the result. I also took my children for their checkup with Faizan in the afternoon and he was fabulous looking after them and providing good advice about the health of their teeth and how to look after them. Lots of new technology to support treatment and skilled dentists - thank you.

Negative experience: Very bad experience We register NHS for my child on Dec 2023, receptionist give us form for fill after check many information via computer And we want to book appointment for my child, the receptionist advise they never seen my child information, and the receptionist advise that they didn’t accept any new NHS registration over one year, Oh!!!!! Why you give me form to fill if not accept NHS registration over one year ??? Totally waste time

Fantastic experience: It’s such a shame that the reviews are on the receptionists and not the dentists. All my family have had a great experience here and are very happy with the service received. I tend to ignore the poor behaviour of the receptionists for this reason. If you would like me to do a couple of hours on reception I can whip them into shape for you.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, after the covid pandemic, my dentist had taken my husband and eldest child off of their register. I decided to register the whole family with Dental Works. I had a filling fall out and booked an appointment, the dentist said that I needed root canal, a cap and that the treatment would be classed as part private and part NHS, one part of it being £60ish, the rest about £350. I paid the £22.50 for the consultation, booked with my own dentist and they xrayed and filled the filling for £60, the NHS price. This filling is still holding strong 1.5years later. Not sure how there can be such a massive difference between diagnoses and treatment needed.

Negative experience: Very Poor Dentists, Do not use, Reception staff are rude and unprofessional and have no customer service skills between them. They never answer the phone and don’t even read their emails let alone respond to them. Also the dentist only seem interested in making money! The service and wait times are absolutely disgusting, and to make money from the NHS patients they do the bare minimal in regards to treatment so you have to keep returning to repeatedly pay for each appointment and for more expensive treatment as your teeth have ended up in a worse condition due to the previous treatment and wait times for next appointments. There is no care nor compassion within this dentistry! They also do not take into consideration your own opinions or feelings about your care, they only do what ever makes them money. I would avoid completely.

Fantastic experience: Execllent service, I can't fault this dental practice and the team are fantastic. I went in for a tooth filling and was treated by Dr Jay. He put me at ease and took time to explain the treatments. I will highly recommend.
