Fantastic experience: I was booked in for extraction of an infected wisdom tooth on 16/12/2025 after a consultation a few days before. Dr Jubran was absolutely fantastic. He was calm, professional and knowledgeable throughout. He eased my anxiety about the procedure and kept me informed and answered my questions. The whole procedure was performed with little to no pain and no bruising afterwards. I took painkillers once the anaesthetic wore off but 4 hours later I didn't feel the need to take any more. The area is healing nicely with no after effects. I was seen quickly and both Dr Jubran and his assistant were friendly and professional. I can't thank them enough. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Only been with this surgery since May and so far... They cancelled two appointments for me, they said I didn't attend an appointment, (even though they didn't notify me I had one at the alloted time or day,) and when I went for the appointment I found out whilst waiting to be seen they no longer do extractions and other routine procedures. There is also bad communication between the dentist and the receptionist; I found out from the receptionist they now no longer do hygienist check ups through the NHS, (even though the dentist said they did do NHS Hygienists check ups,); I gave up trying to get the appointment in the end as it became quite apparent the surgery is badly run, badly organised and there is no point arguing it out with the staff. If I could I'd change dentists, but I can't because NHS Dentists are far and few in-between.

Negative experience: Not the best experience! 4 appointments cancelled by them, prior to attending. Always have inadequate reception staff. Very poor appearance of surgery site, unkempt forecourt, garden and steps broken to surgerys front door. Appointments always running late. I was told by a member of staff that they overbook & then have to cancel some bookings. Don't take cash or cheque payments & you are required to pay prior to being seen!!! Dental treatment fine. Don't think I'll be going there again, it's like an endurance test !

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment recently with a new dentist called Muhammad. The most pleasant experience I've had in 10 years. Really gentle, polite, calm and friendly. My daughter is very nervous around dentists but also had a very positive experience with him. Only catch now, with positive reviews building, he may well be booked up quick! Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Truly the worst dentist I have ever been to. Even when I complained about the surly, rude, arrogant, unfriendly dentists who ignored me, wouldn't listen to what I had to say and accused me of not giving her the information I had, I was told in their official complaint response that I was the one being aggressive. I simply got up and walked out and at no point was remotely aggressive!!! Dentist clearly doesn't know what she is doing or how to behave like a normal human being. I cannot advise strongly enough to avoid this practice at ALL COSTS. Truly horrible.

Negative experience: My wife's filling lasted only 80 hours, the dentist told my wife he would repair his work for free, after he replaced the filling the receptionist made my wife pay for the new filling in full stating if she booked in for a crown before she left with half the payment up front that she wouldn't charge for the replacement filling.we are reporting to the GDC about this work

Negative experience: Sorry a Con Company asked to pay £45 for a Consultation only made a booking and paid...On the day i woke to a job interview in Brighton 30 mins after my 10.30 appointment...I called a dozen times from 8.30am till 9.45am and emailed apologizing and asking for a new date..No Reply at all had to chase days later and was told by a very unhelpful lady hard luck you will have to pay again...AVOID they are only interested in Private NO NHS

Negative experience: As a new patient very rushed and feeling un cared for service. I had to see the same dentist a few times due to problems and always felt I wasn’t listened to. I had to go privately today as was in such pain. On my way to my appt yesterday I was called to say that they had removed me from the NHS list as I was running late and I apparently didn’t give them enough notice last time to cancel the hygienist. They still kept the £65 though and refused to give it back. This is a very bad offering from the NHS. I was offered to try and rejoin their NHS list from December. That is too late the reason I had the appt today was because I have been having severe pain. My private dentist told me today of problems the NHS dentist did not tell me so now I am several months behind in treatment. I can hardly eat now …. I would never recommend the practice at Eastbourne

Negative experience: Had my dentist basically tell me "Well what do you want me to do about it?" when I asked him for advice about me not being able to close my mounth on one side. Couldn't explain the difference between a private dentist, NHS dentist and orthodontist and was overall rude. Didn't even offer a refferal to an orthodontist or anything, was basically just sitting there while I was talking and him looking with almost disgust. I would tell him what hurt and what had happened but he kept saying "he doesnt see a problem" when my bottom right side of the jaw would rest on the top gums due to teeth shifting. I didn't catch his name but he was an arab with short hair and about 5'7. I don't know what happened, this used to be a nice dental practice about a year ago. Overall horrible experience, won't be going there again.

Negative experience: I’ve only had two appointments here. On my first visit I was made to book an appointment for the hygienist which was £60. As I’m receiving disability benefits this is a lot of money for me. For the check up I was literally on the seat for less than 5 minutes. Then for the hygienist it must of been no more than 5-10 minutes. Since then all I’ve had is telephone calls to cancel and reschedule my appointment. This has now happened 4 of 5 times. I walked out of the appointment with the hygienist with my teeth feeling exactly the same as when I walked in! What a waste of time and money! I’ve only gone back for one check up as can’t find another NHS dentist.

Negative experience: My kids are with this dentist since they started their school. Since Covid my kids never had a check up. Every time I called they didn’t had appointments available I gave up on them but finally few months back they called to say my kids are overdue for their check up. I was pleased to hear from them but the day before I got a call to say appointment has to postpone as doc got some emergency so they rescheduled it to follow day. I was ok with it. Next day we reached to our appointment but it was closed no one informed us or no. Information what happened. Then later we came to know there was an emergency at the clinic. So they couldn’t see any one. After few days I called them to re book ,so in a month time I managed to booked the appointment but just 4 days before the appointment they called again to cancel it once AGAIN . Yeah you heard it right. Now I’m fed up with this clinic. With my experience they don’t deserve any star rating. Very disappointed.

Negative experience: Turned up for my daughters first appointment today. Thought it was great that I’d managed to get her registered with ease and was offered a quick appointment (same day but chose one a few days later). Firstly the practice isn’t wheelchair/pram friendly which made it difficult to get through the front door as it’s down a steep set of stairs. We sat in the waiting room and watched several other families who arrived after us.. be seen before us. My partner went outside with our child as she was bored and irritable and upon returning he was told that we were next to be seen. Yet 2 separate families went in after we were told that. 30 minutes passed and I ended up cancelling our appointment as we had other plans to get too. All I was told was “I’m not sure why they haven’t called you yet”. Not good for a first experience and now looking for a new dentist for my daughter.

Negative experience: Wouldn't recommend. Called to make an appointment was advised not taking customers till October this was in May. Was told I'd be sent a pack. Never heard from them again. If they struggle with something so basic then no confident they'll do a good job with teeth. It's 2022 no excuse for poor customer service. They responded said they'd act accordingly haven't heard from them since. Writing words to give the illusion of doing anything about it. Don't recommend No tja after an apology I still never heard from these people again All lipservice to appease the algorithm.

Negative experience: This is the third time I have been cancelled. I cannot keep booking time off then have it cancelled (the appointment was in another 3 months - how can they not find replacments?!). I would be embarrassed if this was my business. Everyone is struggling in business; even in my field of work, but I don't let the same client down 3 times!

Negative experience: this is without doubt the worst dental practice. the receptionists are rude and unsympathetic. Ive had 3 cancellations also.They have no dentists but still offering NHS patient spaces .Utterly Bizarre. I suggest complain to the governing body so serious questions can be asked regarding there attitude towards patient dental treatment .should be zero stars but wont allow zero stars

Positive experience: I have been an NHS patient at this practice for 6 years. My recent experiences have been excellent. After breaking a tooth a crown was required 6 months ago. The whole procedure was done quickly by Natalia, a dentist at the practice, with far more care than I've received elsewhere. I have seen different hygenists and they have all been good. At present the NHS as a whole is experiencing a lack of dental care professionals, this practice is not alone in this.

Negative experience: Service here is absolutely appalling. I have been waiting for an appointment for me and both my sons since the end of 2021. They have cancelled on me twice last minute. So I’ve basically waited a year to be seen when I could’ve been seen sooner elsewhere had they just been honest from the start. They shouldn’t be taking on new patients or rebooking if they have no intention of getting an nhs dentist to see patients. No apology when they called to cancel and they weren’t even remorseful the first time they cancelled. Really really disgusted and fed up with the service they have provided so far and hypocritical that they can cancel anytime they like but when patients do it’s noted when it’s not more than 24 hours notice. What a joke of a practice really.

They should not offer to re-book when they have no definite plans to refill the post. Negative experience: Rude and unhelpful receptionists Mr Cramp the previous owner would be appalled at the poor service here now. Had many appointments cancelled last minute had an issue with a payment I had to make due to poor receptionist advise contacted head office via e mail no phone number for head office they say obviously there is reception just not allowed to give it out complaint just got forwarded to local practice. They replied with a curse e mail totally unhelpful. Avoid this practice like the plague. They are not interested in customer care just profit.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for the team at the Trinity Trees practice in Eastbourne. The receptionist was so polite and charming as was the Dental Nurse. I received the utmost care, professionalism and reassurances from Natalia, my Dentist, from the moment I walked into the consulting room. Throughout my procedures Natalia was talking me through what she was doing and was so kind and gentle. I cannot thank all the team enough.

Negative experience: I'll cover my most recent experience which will include most of their failings. Needless to say, we won't be returning. In our family's last check-up, I arrived with a baby in a pram and a toddler. They have removed disabled access so you have to get your baby, toddler and pram down steep, narrow steps. Which is totally unacceptable. So if you're a parent with young children, or elderly and struggle with steps, this practice is not for you. But this is insignificant compared to their other failings. In my check-up, I saw ANOTHER different / new dentist. In the 2-3 years I visited this practice, I saw a different dentist every time because the previous one had left. I was told that I needed a filling. This was unexpected but they're dental experts, so why would I question their expertise. I had to wait anxiously for a month for my appointment, only for it to get cancelled very near to the appointment because "all of the staff had to cover staff shortages at another practice". So they booked me in for the next available appointment, another month later. Unfortunately when this appointment date came, I was awaiting a Covid test result and in line with government policy, had to self-isolate and therefore postpone. Another month to wait. When I finally arrived for my filling, anxious and fearful as I always am at the dentist, the receptionist asked: "You're here for your check up?" To which I replied, "No, I'm here for a filling". Confused, the receptionist looked at my record and confirmed that my original consultation had expired (an NHS policy apparently) and that I'd have to start again. Or suggested somewhat sarcastically, that I could go to Tunbridge Wells to see the original dentist (who'd inevitably left as they always do) - Everybody loves a smart arse receptionist don't they? In fairness to her though, she's the friendliest they've had since we joined. This new appointment obviously included paying again (I could try to get a refund through head office if I wished). And then waiting again. This was too much to bear so I decided that enough was enough and left, never to return. Yesterday (Saturday), I got my check-up at another dental practice in Eastbourne in which I highlighted the tooth that "required a filling". Only to be told that a filling was unnecessary - they even took x-rays to be sure. The filling I'd waited over 3 months for... was UNNECESSARY. To let this really sink in, the filling, which South Cliff Dental Group wanted to perform was not needed. Not Required. Unnecessary. I don't know what else to say... Having not had a filling since I was a child, regularly visited the dentist and had 2 other fillings since joining South Cliff Dental Practice, I can only wonder what other dentistry they have performed which I didn't require. My new dentist told me that my teeth are healthy, I'm low risk and don't need to return for 12 months. South Cliff Dental Practice told me that I need a filling and 6-monthly appointments. If you've read this and still decide to book an appointment, then you only have yourself to blame.

Negative experience: Used to be good, since re-opening after covid and staff changes seem disorganised and dismissive. Find another dentist if you can, I will be.

Negative experience: Do not use this dentist I've waited 2 years to have my teeth removed it's a joke they can't do anything gentle they have hurt me everytime so had to be sent of for referralthis started in 2019 an if anything my teeth are worse now then they was when I started going to them, I really would advise going somewhere else..

Fantastic experience: Efficient and well managed dental clinic. Excellent service. I had a dentist, Avi, who took the time to explain how he was going to install the fake tooth; having previously explained the different options (and prices). Avi was patient, attentive to how I felt during the procedure, and explained what he was doing. He worked meticulously. Yhe work he did looks amazing. I highly recommend Avi as a dentist and South Cliff Dental Group.

Fantastic experience: My son had his tooth rebuilt this morning from a bad chip after a fall. Although they were running a bit late they didn't rush and did a fantastic job. Very kind and patient and explained everything well.

Negative experience: First time with an NHS dentist. I have no idea of the name of my dentist seen on the 10th June, as he didn't introduce himself by name. He used an instrument to check between the teeth and was very rough, a few times I let out an 'ouch' sound with several head jerks with the pain, at no time did he stop or apologise. He then proceeded to hold my head still while he yanked each tooth indivially for movement, which was a horrible experience in itself, then three x-rays were done. At no time was I asked to have a mouth rinse. I was not given a plastic bib to wear. I had not been to a dentist for years and it took a long time to get an NHS one, this was an experience I never want again. The last straw was when he said when you have hygiene treatments it will be very painful and that some of the patients have cried with pain, can you even imagine how I felt? Who is this unprofessional dentist? Never again

Negative experience: Called to get appointment the receptionist was rude arrogant and didn't really care about patient values if the dentist did the job right in the first place I wouldn't be calling back silly little girl

Fantastic experience: On arrival I was greeted by polite and professional reception staff and after a short wait I was taken through to the consultation room by the dentist who was extremely kind and welcoming. I was treated with empathy, compassion and respect, the dentist really listened to my concerns and we agreed next steps. After a horrendous week of severe pain and a dreadful experience at an emergency dental appointment elsewhere this appointment restored my faith in dental professionals.

Positive experience: Actual dentists, their assistants and the hygienists are fantastic. Had a slight hiccup with the appointments but they resolved fairly after a few emails.

Fantastic experience: I went to this dentist last week for the first time. I was terrified and the lovely receptionist Vicky totally put me at ease. Distracted me in conversation before my appointment started which was fantastic. My dentist Dr Humaria, and her right hand lady were exceptionally good. Made me feel welcome, comfortable and even added some humour to put my mind at rest. For someone with a fear of dentists I am actually looking forward to my next few appointments. Would recommend to anyone. 1st class service and friendly staff exactly what I needed.
