Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Flint and Flint for a while now, and every visit has been excellent. The reception team are always welcoming and professional, which makes a real difference. The therapists are fantastic, always kind, gentle, and reassuring. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure you feel completely at ease. The new Airflow treatment with them was a great experience. The dentists here are equally skilled and patient, taking the time to answer questions and never making you feel rushed. The whole practice has a calm, professional atmosphere where you know you’re in safe hands. Most people don’t look forward to the dentist, but I honestly do. A genuine 10/10 team and DentalPractice.

Fantastic experience: Phil Mullen was absolutely amazing! I was very anxious about my root canal treatment. He explained everything in detail and put my mind to ease. He advised me I wouldn’t feel anything which I was quite dubious about, given my past experiences with other dentists however I didn’t feel anything and was shocked when the treatment had ended. Would 110% recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this practice for about 30 years and still have , thanks to them, most of my own teeth, aged 82. I have had implants, oral surgery and routine fillings. I have had treatment for gum infections. I now have a small temporary denture. The orthodontics dept is fantastic. The dentuer closely matches my teeth and is very .comfortable. the permanent denure is pending. The hygienists as well as Ian and Rob, the dentists , have assisted in maintaining my dental health. Alison in particular has made a big difference to gum problems by suggesting that I use a water flosser . The dental assistants also provide friendly and very effective support. I recommend Flint and Flint to my friends.

Negative experience: A Heartbreaking Experience No Parent Should Go Through I’m sharing this painful experience in the hope that it will prevent another child—and another family—from going through the same trauma. My 6-year-old daughter had a filling done on one of her baby teeth. After the procedure, she continued to complain of pain, and we brought this up with the dentist. To our shock, the response we received was that it was our fault for coming in too late, and we were told the only option was to extract four teeth—a decision that would undoubtedly impact the development of her permanent teeth. I couldn’t accept that, especially not with such a drastic and irreversible recommendation. We sought a second opinion and went to another clinic abroad. What we were told—and what we saw—was truly heartbreaking. The dentist there was appalled by the quality of the previous work. As soon as they began treatment, a flow of pus was released, revealing a serious infection. The tooth had to be removed immediately, but the damage was already done. My daughter suffered because of poor care and a lack of attention that should never happen—especially when dealing with children. To the dentists out there: please, please be more careful. You are not just fixing teeth—you are shaping futures, protecting little smiles, and influencing how children feel about dental care for the rest of their lives. You carry a huge responsibility. To other parents: trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, don’t be afraid to get a second opinion. It could save your child from pain and protect their future.

Fantastic experience: My NHS dentist recommended Flint & Flint to find out if it was possible to replace a 20+ year old bridge I'd had fitted after knocking out a front tooth, with a dental implant. From the very first appointment, the whole team was fantastic – really thorough, honest about what was involved, and clear on pricing. They were ambitious about getting me the best possible result, considering different options, but always realistic too. What really stands out at Flint & Flint is how well everyone works together – receptionists, nurses, technicians, and implantologist. Different colleagues were brought in along the way to offer their advice, and I could tell they all genuinely cared about getting it right for me and took pride in their work. The care felt professional yet totally personal, with follow-up phone calls to check how I was doing and a short notice appointment made available to me when my temporary bridge needed adjusting. My dentist Dr Dimitri Boutsias was incredibly skilled, caring and determined to achieve a great result. My treatment plan was clear to me and the whole process took about 6 months - naturally some steps were challenging but I always felt in safe hands and we had some laughs along the way - I couldn’t be happier that I chose Flint & Flint. The result has exceeded my expectations and given me a new confidence. No hesitation in recommending this amazing clinic.

Fantastic experience: I have been at Flint & Flint for over 10 years and have always seen Justine as she has seen me since being a paediatric. She’s been absolutely fantastic and was particularly brilliant when we had been told at my previous NHS practice that I wouldn’t qualify for a brace on the NHS. Justine and Flint & Flint got me referred and sorted in no time and it is one of the best things I’ve ever had done. Justine has a wonderful patient rapport and always makes it a joy visiting, always having a lovely chat about family/work whilst carrying out the appointment. I could never recommend Flint & Flint enough. Any issues I’ve had over the years have been remedied quickly and to the highest standard. The practice is a true credit to the trade.

Simon is easily the best oral surgeon I've ever encountered. He communicates clearly and thoroughly at every step of the procedure being undertaken and welcomes as many questions as you have about the procedures, treatment plan, and patient options. Fantastic experience: I have great trust in the staff at this practice. The treatment I have received has been exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff treat you with kindness and respect. The treatments are continuously updated and every effort is made to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and as an ex dental nurse I would highly recommend. I totally recommend Dr Andrew Caldeira and hygienist Georgina Brelsford who both obviously care about their patients. I have had varying treatments from fillings, root canal, a crown and an extraction together with routine hygienist visits. Yes, it’s costly, but necessary for your overall health and well being.

Fantastic experience: These guys are excellent. They sorted out issues my partner was having with her teeth for weeks and weeks, and they’ve just fitted a crown perfectly onto my problem tooth. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and they treat you well. It is expensive, I won’t lie, but if you can afford it they are well worth the investment.

My own dentist told me a tooth needed to come out but he reassured me my tooth could be saved and I have a treatment plan going forward. I highly recommend this practice. *Update I started my treatment with Andrew Caldeira yesterday and I'm so pleased with how it's going so far. I was so nervous before my treatment. Thank you for putting me at ease and for talking me through every step of the way as this really help me get through it. Thanks for the numbing cream/injection and for being as gentle as possible. Thank you also to the dental nurse who did a fantastic job or keeping my mouth clear and dabbing me clean /dry when necessary. (Best dental nurse I've ever had). I feel at long last I'm on track to better dental health with some extremely technical dental work being performed which couldn't be done by my own dentist. Thank you.
