Fantastic experience: My wife and I joined the new Brierfield practice a couple of years ago and have been so impressed with the care and attention we've received and the warm welcome that awaits us at every visit. Dr. Talal is such a lovely, gentle person and is so skilled and very professional in his approach. He listens carefully to our needs, always presenting differing treatment options. His sense of humour is lovely, which puts you at ease and helps dispel any nervous feelings. Recently my wife had a problem with a crown and Talal went above and beyond to resolve the issue. The dental nurses and hygienist are always professional and are also great at putting you at your ease. Particular mention goes to Andrea, who always makes you feel so welcome the moment you walk through the door. We both wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone who is seeking a new dentist.

Dr Talal Khalil is a sociable and bubbly person and adds to the positive atmosphere.

Negative experience: I regret to share a disappointing experience at Charisma Clinic, now under new ownership. My partner visited with significant tooth pain, clearly communicated as an emergency before traveling overseas. Unfortunately, the new dentist only performed a standard scale and polish, neglecting to address the urgent issue. Instead, they passively attempted to sell her toothpaste, which was unhelpful given the circumstances. To make matters worse, the dentist stated that the rest of her teeth were in good condition but would not know about the specific issue unless they did an X-ray. Despite my partner's request for an X-ray, the dentist ignored her, leaving the problem unresolved. This lack of attention to a clear and present problem is unacceptable, especially considering the clinic’s previously excellent reputation under its former dentist. Now, my partner is overseas and unable to eat on one side of her mouth due to the unresolved issue. I would not recommend this clinic until it returns to its former standards of care and responsiveness to patients' needs.

Fantastic experience: I recently became a new patient at Dr. Khalil’s practice after moving back to the area after seven years, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I was a bit nervous initially, especially because I’d been struggling with heavy bleeding from both sets of gums for two months every time I brushed my teeth. Dr. Khalil was incredibly kind, comforting, and reassuring during our initial consultation. He took the time to thoroughly explain that my symptoms were due to gingivitis, providing a clear breakdown of what causes it and exactly what he was going to do to treat it. His professionalism and gentle approach made me feel completely confident that I was in good hands. Dr. Khalil performed a scale and polish that left my teeth feeling unbelievably refreshed. The results were almost immediate—by the next day, the bleeding had completely stopped! It was remarkable to see such fast improvement, and it’s a true testament to Dr. Khalil’s expertise and care. Throughout each step of the appointment, he kept me informed, reassured, and comfortable, making what could have been a daunting experience genuinely pleasant. As a new patient, I can’t recommend this practice highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Got emergency appointment today due to chipped front tooth. Registered took the dentist plan out as well. Had treatment of xray, clean and polish plus the filling on front tooth, which now looks amazing again. Highly recommended dentist. Make you feel at ease as first rime ive gone without sedation EVER !!!! Highly recommended place 5 star definitely. Im iver the moon.

Negative experience: They do not discuss the issues you go in for yet decided to tell me I needed to brush my teeth with a soft toothbrush and sell me toothpaste rather than discuss the main issues I needed to go in for and then decided to tell me “they do not need my money”. Which I found rather odd. Please don’t go here if you have any main concerns about your teeth. Very rude, not good customer service. Really disappointed. 5 minute consultation for £65. Won’t be coming back here

The website is user friendly and really is simple to navigate. The price was more than affordable and the service was welcoming and friendly from the entrance to the exit. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new dentist.

He’s a genuinely nice guy and always gives the best advice for your teeth. Caroline is the perfect helper, she does her job seamlessly and always tries to help out where she can. Had the scale and polish upstairs for the first time today, worked out really well and made the process quicker for customers who need to see the dentist or the hygienist. Saw Saima today and her colleagues today (sorry i didnt catch names) they were lovely and made me feel at ease. They answered any queries I had and were so happy to assist Would highly recommend. I couldn't of asked for anything more. She really eased my daughter throughout. The dentist itself is really clean and smart looking, loving the new refurb. But overall, it's the best dentist by far. I love how welcoming and reassuring all the dentist are!
