Fantastic experience: I am lucky enough to be a patient at Oak Hill, and have always had nothing but praise for all staff. Recently I have been fitted for a new Denture, this was never rushed, done over a course of weeks, where I was treated with so much respect and dignity, was talked through everything,. To be honest I didn't believe I could get better treatment and results, but the lovely young Dentist Janet, who has stayed with me throughout surpassed everything, I left there today, with a perfect fitting denture, thank you Janet, you will go far in dentistry, and it will be well deserved Kathleen Bennett

Fantastic experience: My 8 year old daughter is autistic and has always found the dentist very distressing. Anika (I hope I have spelt that correctly) + the reception were incredibly supportive. Anika talked my daughter through the steps for an up and coming procedure + was even able to adapt her technique in response to a specific sensory issue. We are incredibly grateful to her + her team for her calm, kind + flexible approach. Cannot recommend highly enough, thank you!

Negative experience: I have been going to this dentist for the past 5 years and I have had treatment. I went today for treatment for a tooth previously filled. White filling for via NHS. When I went to pay they told me it not covered. The truth is it is covered as it is a front tooth and it very embarrassing that I had to go through this and then to be told it could have been a silver filling which is not true. Be careful with the prices here as this should not happen to anyone l!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had 3 teeth extracted as they were interfering with her adult teeth which had no space to come through. Janet was really kind and calm and she explained the whole procedure really well which made my daughter feel really relaxed. We couldn't recommend this dentist more highly, excellent treatment!

Fantastic experience: I have just had a new implant tooth fitted. This proved to be slightly more complicated than I initially expected, as a bone graft was needed, making the whole process much longer and taking several visits. Dr Ali performed all stages with the utmost skill and professionalism from initial consultation to the final fitting. He is a very friendly man who truly cares about your wellbeing. I would recommend Dr. Ali without hesitation. I have been coming to the Oakhill practice for about 35 years and have always found the staff to be friendly, efficient and caring. Fantastic experience: I called yesterday for an emergency appointment and Rahana, one of the Receptionist, was so helpful and empathetic and I was seen today by Dr Murshida Mirzan. I had to have a front tooth extracted. She explained the procedure, giving me different options so that I could make an informed decision. Nobody looks forward to an extraction so I was preparing myself for the worst.With a bit of a forward and back motion, I was waiting for the tugging to start and then she said, "All finished!" It was absolutely the best extraction I've ever experienced, this is coming from a chocoholic and coke (drink) addict who has had more teeth extracted than I have left! I left my last dentist as I felt that they were judgemental, (I probably deserve a telling off) but I've never felt that here! Dr Mirzan, thank you so much for today; what I thought was going to be the absolute worst experience, was absolutely fine. I totally recommend this practice and especially Dr Mirzan

Fantastic experience: I had two cosmetic replacement fillings done by Dr Zahra Majid. She has been my dentist for many years now and I completely trust her. She made me feel at ease, showed care and her attention to detail was amazing. She explained the procedure in a professional but friendly way. When I looked at the work she had done, the fillings looked as if they were part of the teeth. She did a brilliant replacement.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Oak hill Dental practice for 25+ years and always had excellent care. However in recent years there have been lots of changes however the service remains excellent and is actually more accessible and organised. In particular I find hygienist Shak is absolutely the best I’ve ever had; he is so thorough but gentle. He is amazing.

Fantastic experience: Travelled across the pond for dental work, this is the place I always come to! The team are so kind, competent, and transparent. Dr. Ali is supremely experienced, providing great treatment plan options and (I'm not being excessive here) world class skill. If you've thought about it, don't think any more and just book your appointment!

Fantastic experience: I recently traveled from the US to London and went to see Dr. Mohsin Ali for my dental work. Years ago, when I was living in London, he treated me and left such a strong impression that when I was recently in a lot of pain, I didn’t want to see anyone else. Dr. Mohsin has a rare combination of skill and attentiveness—he listens carefully to every concern, explains things clearly, and treats you with genuine care. You never feel rushed or like you’re “just another patient.” His team reflects the same warmth and professionalism. From the moment I walked through the door, the front desk staff made me feel welcome and at ease. It’s clear this is a practice where every patient matters. I would feel completely confident seeing any of the other dentists on his team in the future. The location is very convenient if you’re in East London—easy to get to and, there’s free street parking. For me, it was worth crossing an ocean, but even if you’re just crossing the city or country, you’ll be glad you chose him.

Fantastic experience: Would like to give a massive shout out to Shak the Hygenist and Dr Ali. After some bad experiences with dentists that led to me neglecting my nashers for years, these guys really gave me a place to help keep my smile. Thank you for your good work in the community.

Negative experience: People need to be aware they are booting off NHS patients with no real attempt at communication!!!!!!!!! Hygienist appointment was bookable every time, where I pay privately. Each time I was there I asked about an actual dental check up appointment but was told each time no spaces available or too book online, which does not give the option to book a check up, only private work. Now told I am place 200 and something on a waiting list for a n NHS check up as I had not been there in four years, when my last visit was in November 2024??? My email was hacked so fair I would not have got emails, but my number has not changed-not got any calls or letters (which some people need who do not use emails) The practice then decided I was 'not speaking to them nicely' when I questioned their ethics. I do know NHS funding for dentistry is poor and am happy to pay for appointments as I can at the moment, but they do not make the appointments for NHS available as far as I can tell. A shame as the actual dental work is done brilliantly and to a good standard.

Fantastic experience: All of my experiences with Oakhill have been great. I ve just had an implant fitted with Dr Ali which I am really pleased with, it looks completely natural. I see Zahra for my regular checkups and she was also fab when my daughter had an accident making some baby teeth wobbly. Our whole family attend Oakhill and as someone who's nervous of the dentist, I feel very comfortable there. Everyone on reception is lovely and very accommodating. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Shak for a good few years now, the hygienist and I always left there happy with the results! Always feeling welcome and all my questions, no matter how small, get answered promptly. I always know the next steps for my teeth maintenance as he is always advising what's best, depending of what he sees right/wrong with them. Fantastic experience: I had a dental cleaning after a few years without one, and the service was excellent. I’m usually very nervous about going to the dentist, but Shak, made me feel extremely comfortable and took breaks whenever I needed them. Negative experience: Disgusting patient care Cancelled our scheduled routine appointments then removed us off their books after long standing registration as said we havent been seen. No email reminder or communication giving indication of this. Offered private treatment but no option for anything else. Money making strategy to remove NHS patients over private.

Fantastic experience: Best dental treatment I have ever received! I had a very complicated case which involved 5 tooth extractions, whilst wearing braces. A supernumerary tooth further complicated my case. Dr Mohsin was exceptionally professional and skilled in ensuring a painless, seamless dental procedure which was concluded in a timely manner. Mihaela’s assistance ensured an efficient and very comfortable experience. I am very glad to have been Dr Mohsin Ali’s patient - I genuinely have not experienced such skilled dentist capabilities until now. Highly recommended!!

Positive experience: I had two implants done with doctor Ali at Oak Hill. Overall, it was a very positive experience: smooth, pleasant and painless, considering the complexity of the procedures. Doctor Ali was flexible with an instalment plan, so I was able to manage the cost. Fantastic experience: To say I’m an anxious patient would be an understatement. Needed a tooth out which I have been putting off for a long while. Finally had it done when attending for a check up (otherwise I probably would have left it again). Dr Mirzan was very understanding, kind and patient. It really did not hurt. Fantastic experience: My previous dentist had made a big mess of my teeth, so I had asked them to refer me to the Dental Hospital for a 2nd Opinion with regards to their Treatment Plans. The hospital dentist was horrified and wrote to that dentist that what they proposed was unnecessary, and wouldn't solve my dental problems. I researched dental practices and gave them both the Treatment Plan and the letter to my EX dentist, by then. Dr Zariyaab Butt reviewed my dental notes with me and discussed the Treatment Plan and timescales to rectify past work done, and future work that he'd carry out.. I informed him that I was very anxious about everything and he reassured me that he'd do his best. He's very professional, skillful, kind, caring and compassionate.....and I've got my PERFECT SMILE BACK!! I have nothing but great respect for Dr Butt and his colleagues at Oakhill Dentists. Fantastic experience: I can't praise Dr Ali and his team highly enough. My treatment was carried out over a period of six months and from my initial enquiry consultation to the final fitting of my implants Dr Ali made me feel completely comfortable at all times. He explained the procedure he would be undertaking during my visits and re-assured me if I had any concerns. I am delighted with my implants and would not hesitate to recommend Dr Ali to anyone considering implants.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with this dental practice, they reel off extortionate prices like we've all got that amount of money sitting there, my crown has come off and I kept it but was advised to have another one at cost, which ok I understand but no mention of a temporary fix to make me more comfortable, sent out advising I stick it back on myself

Positive experience: I had to visit the dentist as I had a wisdom tooth surgically extracted. I was extremely anxious more so than my usual dental visits. The receptionist Rahana noticed my anxiety and immediately did her best to reassure me. She made me a lot more calmer before I was escorted upstairs to see Dr Ali. He explained the process to me which was very encouraging. The whole episode went well. I will be going back there for my next appointment.

Fantastic experience: After many years and countless consultations with numerous specialists, I was fortunately advised to visit Dr Ali and the team and Oak Hill dental. I'd had surgery from numerous dentists over a few years in attempts to do a bone graft and place implants which kept failing but through consultation with Dr Ali I was able to complete a plan, and eventually complete implant surgery in less time than I had spent already. I'm extremely grateful for the support, care and treatment from Dr Ali and the friendly team at Oak Hill.

This dentist has made me feel extremely comfortable the process was done in less than 10 mins, having had terrible experience with my previous wisdom tooth removal I can highly recommend as every step of the way at this dental practice is from start of booking appointment as it was emergency they managed to fit me in same day with an hour apart, staff are friendly, very professional, caring and defiantly know what they are doing, I can guarantee this will be my new dental practice for sure. Fantastic experience: This was my second appointment today,I originally saw a younger man who works for Dr Ali part time. He was so knowledgeable and had a wonderful way with him. He and the receptionist that day were friendly and welcoming. Today I went back to see Dr Ali he was incredible and the receptionists today were amazing too all so friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished 16 months of treatment with Dr Ali and I now have a wonderful new implant. I can now smile with confidence again. I was incredibly nervous and this nearly stopped me going ahead, but I really didn't need to worry. I'm so pleased that I had the work done.
