I was worried about the procedure as my son can get quite nervous but he felt so relaxed. He even said “mummy it was quite funny at the dentist”. From personal experience as a child I was left traumatised from a procedure and feared the dentist. This was such a relief and I’m glad we used your service to end the discomfort Elijah has been in. Fantastic experience: Managed to get an Emergancy appointment for my son who had been in absolute agony and was not coping very well. They were so kind and took into consideration his difficulties as he has ASD and is easily overwhelmed and has sensory difficulties. Whenever I have had an emergency they have always done everything they can to accommodate and find an appointment. The reception staff are superb and take the time to listen, and my current dentist Dr Fester is amazing.

However, we had the consultation, and they made us feel so at ease and were so lovely and kind to my son. When he was in surgery today, they were encouraging, positive, and so brilliant with him. My dentist Mr Yen and his assistant were efficient and considerate throughout the procedure.; they took into consideration the sensitivity of my teeth, took little breaks throughout the work being done and were reassuring and responsive when I needed it. Fantastic experience: I was referred to this practice to have a lower wisdom tooth and the tooth in front out and I was extremely nervous. During my consultation both Dr Lesi and Megan were very kind, put me at ease and answered all of my questions. On the day of my procedure Megan went above and beyond to look after me, I was very anxious beforehand and felt a bit dizzy after my teeth had been removed. Megan made sure I was ok the whole time and ensured I was feeling much better before I left, I didn’t feel rushed at all and she was so, so kind and caring. Dr Lesi removed my teeth very quickly and professionally and I have healed well with no problems. I would recommend them both to anyone! Thank you so much :)

I had 3 dental nurses in my care and wow. They were all so incredibly lovely, warming and comforting. Meg in particular was just a breath of fresh air. Fantastic experience: Over the past few months I have been through the process of having my bottom two wisdom teeth removed; this is after suffering with infections and pain for three years. John G. Plummer & Associates have made the process especially easy. The dentist I saw (Caroline Warminger) went above and beyond from the initial consultation, through to the end of the second extraction; her explanations about the process were very reassuring and allowed me to go into the extractions worry free. The first extraction was especially difficult and the reason there had to be two extractions, rather than one. However, due to Caroline's diligence, I wasn't in pain at all and felt very calm for the duration. Since having both of these teeth removed, I haven't had any more pain and am able to eat properly again. I have also noticed a lot less swelling and inflammation in my jaw

Fantastic experience: I had two bottom wisdom teeth removed the Monday just gone after being referred from my own dentist. The consultation before with the dental surgeon and dental nurses was excellent. They all made me feel so at ease. On the day of the extraction I turned up and it was exactly the same ladies I’d seen on my consultation. They were friendly, informative and so reassuring. I was told exactly what was happening and what to expect. The dental surgeon Dr Warminger was amazing and I felt because of her expertise and efficient removal of my wisdom teeth so quickly and effectively its the reason I’ve experienced no facial swelling or bruising. All the dental nurses were amazing and reassuring throughout the quick process. Wish I got their names . Couldn’t fault them one bit! I was expecting recovery to be 100 times worse than what it’s been ! I put this down to those three ladies who extracted my teeth. Brilliant service xx thank you so much xxx

Negative experience: Absolutely atrocious service. Rude patronising and generally incompetent reception staff. Impossible to get an appointment to the point I had to pull out my own broken tooth. If by some miracle you manage to get an appointment (around 3 months after you phoned to book) and have to cancel you will loose your place with the practice. I had to cancel 3 appointments on the day, twice because of COVID protocols and once as I was unable to walk. Conveniently the staff didn't note down these cancellations ahead of time instead marking them down as did not attend. But they will still chase you for any money they deemed owed as the general incompetence of the reception staff to keep exemption certificates on file for disabled patients. Practice is also not disabled friendly as there are many staff. God's speed if this is your only option.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dental practice! Receptionist's are polite and helpful and the establishment is well maintained. My dentist Dr Julia Lee is absolutely fantastic and the best! Kind, patient, friendly, informative and the list goes on. I honestly don't know what I would do without her!!! Thank you so much Dr Julia Lee and everyone else at Plummers.

Fantastic experience: Wow what a service. From the moment you arrive you are treated with such politeness from the ladies on reception. When I got in for a double extraction every step was explained to me and the team went to work. I must pay a special thanks to both the nursing staff that made me feel very at ease. Doc Yinka I have to say is truly excellent at his job and have minimal discomfort. A star but a very special thanks to the girls assisting him. Would be great if I could be on an NHS patient with you. But I've been informed that isn't possible. However if that changes then sign me up. Fantastic!

Fantastic experience: First time visiting. Nice big car park. 3 ladies on reception. I was 10 minutes early but as soon as I had sat down I was called to see the dentist. All the staff were very friendly. The inside of the building was much more modern than my previous dentists and the prices were cheaper too.

Fantastic experience: Once again I have had a very positive experience having to call upon Plummer's emergency dentistry! Following a visit to my hygienist on Thursday afternoon, I was advised that I would benefit from having a very wobbly tooth extracted before it became infectious and invaded my blood stream. I rang the surgery at Thorpe at 0845 hrs the following morning and was given an appointment with my dentist Hassam, for 1920hrs yesterday 5th June. Hassam agreed the tooth needed extracting and kindly fitted me in to his already full diary for this morning. He successfully and painlessly made the extraction. This is the 4th occasion in 5 years that I've had to call on Plummer's and I cannot praise enough the friendly and professional treatment I have received. Thank you!!

Negative experience: Before September 2023 I’d have said this dentist was great, but last summer I had a cavity and was told, by a different dentist than my usual, that it may need root canal treatment. To my surprise, it was filled by my dentist rather than having root canal treatment. I didn’t question this as I assumed my dentist knew the best treatment. 3 weeks later I was in excruciating pain. No sleep and 2 days (unpaid) off sick. I called the dentist and was told I’d need to call again the next day for an emergency appointment! I then had 2 weeks of going back and forth, misinformation and a possible wait of 2 months before I could receive root canal treatment, all whilst in incredible pain. Ultimately, I had to request an extraction due to the pain. A perfectly healthy tooth removed due to a mistake by my dentist. I’ve always liked after my teeth and I was pretty devastated at having it removed. When this situation was questioned I was met with ‘ummm’s’ and ‘ahhh’s’ but no apology or acceptance that this was the fault of a trusted dentist. Thankfully I have found a new dentist nearer home and the service I’ve received exceeds that of John G Plummer & Associates. I’m incredibly disappointed by the whole experience.

Positive experience: The only thing that lets this place down is reception. They’re like robots. They forget they’re human and so are we, a smile and a simple hello go a long way. Instead you get a stony face and “what’s your name” followed by “take a seat”. Good job I’m not a nervous patient!

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much for seeing me today! I am due to have hip surgery in London tomorrow. I have a fixed retainer and of all weekends, Saturday afternoon it decided to unattach itself from my front teeth! Not only was I panicking about the anaesthetist refusing to put me under (as I had a piece of lose wire in my mouth), it was also stabbing me in the tongue causing a lot of pain and discomfort. I called 111 constantly over the weekend and the only dentists on call couldn't see me. My only hope was waiting outside Plummers first thing and fortunately after explaining my case, they managed to squeeze me in (leaving enough time to catch my train). The reception staff were brilliant and reassured me (as I was an emotional wreck). Dr Yen was amazing! He also calmed and reassured me and given it was technically an orthodontist procedure, he managed to stick it all back perfectly and even had time after to smooth the compound so it didn't cause any discomfort. Thank you so much again! It's taken years to plan for my hip surgery and you have all prevented it from being cancelled. I couldn't be more grateful! Xx
