Fantastic experience: Had a bit of a emergency got sent here from 111 to fix a broken tooth. The tooth was beyond fixing and they told me the best thing to do is to pull it out and they did it there and then. It wasn’t an easy job half of the tooth was already broken off, but they did it so quickly. I didn’t feel a thing. I’ve been living in central London for quite a long time and the dentist I had absolutely useless compared to these guys I was really worried going in, but I was in fantastic hands. They did a brilliant job. I can’t remember the name of the Dentist himself or the second in command person who is helping but they were absolutely lovely very professional Hands down the best Dentist I’ve ever had the pleasure going to Cheers you lot !!!

Positive experience: Its a good clinic and they don't overtreat. However, appointment timekeeping is shocking. So dropping a star. On one visit they even saw the person booked after me first.

Having sensitive gums, Donna always make the time to clean/scale my mouth by hand. I had excellent customer service and instructions on how to maintain good oral hygiene and maintain my teeth. Can always trust they know what is best for me and my family. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this surgery and been a loyal customer for over a decade.

Fantastic experience: They simply saved the life of my Wife! The dentist was able to spot an early sign of tongue cancer and she referred her to the hospital straight away. An early discovery lead to a better diagnosis and an easier cancer care. The whole clinic has been brillant with me too.

Fantastic experience: Today, I was given an emergency appointment through 111 with Berry Dentist. We drove 50 minutes for the appointment as I was desperate. From when we entered the practice we were welcomed. I saw the most empathetic and kind Dentist who took time to help me. I am so grateful. Although we didn't find the cause, we had a temporary fix which so far has helped me. I wish I lived closer, as I would register in a heart beat. Thank you again for being so understanding and kind, especially on a Sunday afternoon!

Fantastic experience: I travel over 40 minutes so I can see DONNA the hygienist. I would travel 3 hours to have Donna clean my teeth. This is what you call a nice clean teeth! One happy customer.

Fantastic experience: At my emergency appointment the staff was very quick to not only fix up my issue with a temporary solution on the day but they even provided advice for long term solutions. I managed to get an appointment to carry out the repairs for the following day! This was efficiently carried out by Dr Zeinab Marzoog who was so patient and knowledgable and despite my dread for dental procedures made me feel very comfortable and informed. I would highly reckommend this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: After an emergency visit a couple of week back I returned to have further treatment. Firstly I was vey impressed with the emergency service as it was on a Sunday and I was seen quickly and treated very well. The return visit was extremely thorough and Scott Aaron undertook a full and comprehensive assessment of my dental situation and we discussed multiple options. Overall a very friendly team, quick to respond, helpful, professional and refreshingly bright and cheerful. I am to become a regular patient and will encourage my wife to do the same as we've recently moved and she is still with the same practice but travles a long way each time.

Fantastic experience: Over the weekend I developed severe severe pain due to an infected tooth and infection on the roof of my mouth. I went to my regular dental surgery where I am registered and asked for an emergency appointment and was told they had nothing for that day and they would call me. In fairness they did call me and offered an appointment on Wednesday. Two more days of intense suffering. So I called 111 and sought some advice. I was called back from Berry Lane by the dental nurse and asked to come in at 6.30pm. My wife drove me the 26 miles and the dentist who was brilliant saw me. The infected tooth was extracted and the infection site drained. Instant relief from the excruciating pain and suffering. She and the practice were brilliant . They saved me from two more days of suffering and sent a report to my regular dentist. Thanks for all your help and being able to see me at such short notice

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment this evening. I have to say this is the best dentist I have ever been to! Kieran and the dental nurse were amazing. So kind and understanding. A clean lovely dental practise. The dentist made sure I was not in any pain or discomfort through the whole process of a route canal and filling. If I could give them ten stars I would!

Fantastic experience: I had appointment with the Hertfordshire urgent dental care after hours, I meet lovely people especially the dentist who extracted my tooth, Mandep, I have had bad experience before with a dentist, but to tell you this experience renew my faith with dentists, she was gentle, when she told me the extraction is done I was surprised, it was smooth and quick no issues. Negative experience: Had a referral from 111 to the out of hours emergency clinic. I have a fear of dentists which I told the dentist, but was in immense pain. The numbing injections didn’t work, despite the multiple attempts to inject more. She tried several times to remove the tooth once it broke during a filling attempt, and kept asking me if I was sure it wasn’t just pressure I was feeling. I have never felt pain like it. It was then decided I had to be referred to the dental hospital for sedation and the tooth temporarily filled to cover the break. The dentist seemed almost annoyed at me every time we had to stop due to the pain, and I felt that her bedside manner was very unsympathetic, and I didn’t feel ‘looked after’. The whole atmosphere in the out of hours clinic felt uncomfortable. I received the referral after a 2 week wait, which turns out was incorrectly filled in and so had to be sent back to the dentist to re-fill in. Finally have the referral back after a 5 week wait, and the dentist has yet again filled it in with incorrect information so I am having to chase another rejected referral to get this correctly filled in so I can have the work I need done. Waiting for a reply from the out of hours manager. Far from impressed, would be highly reluctant to visit again.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dental clinic in Rickmansworth, a great team.

Negative experience: Totally unprofessional. Had an appointment at 1 pm in the ground floor surgery due to my disability. I had the impression the dentist was in a bad mood from the start. The dentist put a member of his family in front of me so I was still waiting for my appointment at 1.15. To make matters worse the child being treated was shouting and screaming. I had made it clear that I had to leave at 1.30 which I was told would not be a problem. At 1.15 I left and will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Donna is an excellent hygienist, she genuinely cares about her patients and spends the time being thorough in educating you on how to properly clean and maintain your teeth. I would highly recommend the professionalism of this practice.

Fantastic experience: This appointment was for a check up for myself and my 4 year old son. We found all the staff friendly and reassuring. The surgery was busy but we were seen about 10 minutes after our appointment time. The expertise of the staff entailles confidence and I really appreciate the fact my son was able to come in with me and even walk over and see what was happening during my check up to satisfy his curiosity. It was also great that since being at the surgery my dental health has improved to such a degree they plan to see me less often and this will mean a discount on my practice plan subscription!

Positive experience: I was referred to this dentist by the NHS 111 as an emergency appointment and I have to say I was unimpressed, firstly because I had to travel all the way from Luton secondly upon being seen by the dentist there was no sense of patient care or rapport building the whole interaction seemed very rushed to the point that she spelt my name wrong on the prescription. No real advice given apart from being told I need a tooth extraction and she couldn’t do it because it was complicated which seemed bizarre why accept appointments if you can’t do the job? just a prescription which I could have gotten from my local GP. Although I understand that the dental service is overwhelmed and understaffed a little bit of care and reassurance wouldn’t hurt. Regardless of whether it’s the out of hours service or not they are working under your brand so you have a responsibility to ensure the service is up to standard. On a more positive note the lady at the front of house was lovely and professional and the star rating I gave was solely down to her. That lady dentist downstairs needs to do better.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic Dentist, especially for people who are anxious and also for my 2 sons who have Autism - after a bad experience at a different Dentist it was a really struggle to get the boys to a Dentist, my 2 boys have been twice now and the staff were amazing, they talked through everything they were doing and reasurred them and were so understanding. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. What a great team.

Fantastic experience: Thursday night something very painful in my wisdom teeth. As friday was a holiday couldn’t get any help.managed to get a emergency appointment from 111at berry lane for Sunday 10:30am. Saturday at work ,and to ease the excruciating pain ate to many paracetamol and was taken and admitted for a paracetamol overdose. Released Sunday and paced the floors until my appointment. On arrival was greeted by a smiling luvly receptionist. With in ten mins I was in front of a male dentist who was the most gentle and caring professional dentist I’ve ever seen. He could see I was in agony and assessed me with the greatest of care and gave me a prescription of antibiotics which was needed. This dentist at my lowest depths was true professionals and would recommend them to anybody. I fact I’m going to call today to beg to be put on their list. Thankyou all so very much. 110% brilliance.

Fantastic experience: I use the hygienist (team) at Berry Lane, and they are brilliant. No discomfort, and very supportive. Parking for the dental clinic is easy (very small car park but good street parking). Costs are also very reasonable, compared to other dental clinics I have used. I travel some distance to go there because I value their excellent care.

Fantastic experience: I was booked at this dentist out of hours via 111. This is hands down the best dental practise I have visited and that is all thanks to their staff. The receptionist was absolutely lovely. She was organised and knew exactly what was going on. I had a locam dentist Dr Priya Patel along with her dental nurse. Just amazing ! I had an injection into my gum and a nerve removed. She made me feel so at ease. She distracted me perfectly! She was relatable, kind, friendly and most of all - absolutely amazing at her job! For something I was in so much pain and so worried out - she just fixed me! Never thought I would be writing a review about a dentist removing a nerve and it be a 5**… i stand corrected. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this dental surgery by 111 as I had a horrible throbbing toothache that wouldn’t let me be pain free for just one minute. The dentist I’ve been seen by was super friendly and nice. I wasn’t anxious but she was trying to calm me down, such a sweet lady! Wish I could register for this surgery but unfortunately they don’t accept new patients. Totally recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Let’s be honest, who actually enjoys going to the dentist. It’s the paralysing fear joining any new dentists as a patient that you’ll get Orin Scrivello from Little Shop of Horrors. It’s enough to put anyone off for 6 years or more, which it did for me. Safe to say that my sexennial avoidance resulted in 3 cavernous holes amongst my molars that needed filling. Don’t wait that long, kids! The Silver lining is that the dentist I was seen by, Laura Silver, made me feel so at ease that 45 minutes went by in a breeze. I’m kidding, it’s the dentists. I spent every second clinging to the arm rests in fear, as any normal person afraid of the dentist would. That being said, I can’t fault how welcoming Ms. Silver and nurse Wang were. Totally painless, they guided me through every step, and I left the practice half smiling as the other side of my face was dosed up to the heavens on Lidocaine. Fab practice, would definitely recommend. 2/3 fillings done, one to go!

Fantastic experience: A while ago I was sent here via 111 referral. They treated me very well, it is a shame that I do not live in the area as I would register with this dental clinic in a heartbeat.

Negative experience: I attended this clinic on a Thursday and Friday evening, with my partner who was in severe pain, after calling 111 both times and being referred there. My partner has severe social anxiety as well so I have to attend appointments with him as a carer. The dentist on the Thursday night was extremely helpful! She wasn't judgemental at all, was polite, comforting and provided all the information and helped us understand things we didn't know much about. The dentist on the Friday however, was absolutely appalling. She was polite enough to my partner but was extremely rude to me. She basically told me off and had a go at me for bringing him back when he needed it and 111 are the ones who referred him because they wanted him to be seen. The fear was that he had an infection so needed to be seen in 12hours to sort it out. I came out of that practice Friday feeling extremely upset and uncomfortable with how I was treated and spoken to. It was definitely not okay. It was intimidating, hurtful, uncomfortable, and many other things.

Negative experience: I was referred buy the NHS 111, and I honestly was so appalled at how someone can treat another human being, during the procedure he said raise your left hand if you feel any pain I had my hand raised for a couple of minutes and he didn’t stop he could even see me flinching, and by the end of the whole thing he even said to me “im sorry I couldn’t say anything nice”. Worst dental treatment I’ve ever received and im definitely complaining to 111 about this surgery. shocking!

Fantastic experience: I had the good fortune of being recommended this practice by a family that had used for over 10 years. I had an emergency; my tooth needed extraction and I was in the worst pain of my life. The Receptionist was empathetic and she got me an emergency appointment within 2 hours. The Dentist. Dr. Aaron put me at ease and made the whole process pleasant; he extracted my tooth with the utmost care and took time to explain what was wrong. I could have hugged him after the procedure. Negative experience: Usually very good but today i visited with my mim, she was told by the lady she had major facial swelling which she didnt. She was charged £35 for the lady to lift up her cheek and tell her togo to a dentist on monday morning. A prescription was given, my mothers first language is not english so i queried the dentist who had a bit of an attitude as usually she has had it removed here. What annoyed me is as soon as our appointment was done she sat in her car and drove away so my assumption was she was ready togo home and thats why my mum wasnt given the care. I never leave reviews but i did drive quite far so. NHS 111 gave an appointment for 4:45pm but she changed the personal appointment over the phone to ASAP. I even saw a lady come after me presumably with an appointment but had to leave. The usual service is always great .

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by NHS 111 on good Friday, I called at 9am and had an appointment here at 2.15pm. I was amazed at how amazing the service i received was. The dentist and receptionist were so lovely despite working on good Friday and made me feel super comfortable and welcome. I am such a nervous patient but I was made to feel reassured the whole time. I have been in severe pain and the dentist (gutted that I didn’t get her name) found the root of the problem and helped me out of pain. I cannot fault this surgery one bit, you were amazing and I’m so grateful!! Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: I had emergency private treatment with Scott back in November. Amazing team that were honest and at my request only did what was needed to get me out of pain. Scott recommended I see the hygienist too. I was sceptical as previous visits to hygienist just involved them scraping and polishing my teeth. Donna the hygienist was amazing and totally different to any I've seen before! Donna not only assessed my teeth and cleaned them but she also taught me how to properly take care of my teeth and gums. Absolutely recommended a trip to Berry Lane dental whether it's dentist or hygienist

Fantastic experience: Was referred here by 111. Had an emergency appointment on a Sunday morning and was seen by Amir. He was very thorough in diagnosing my issue, and very informative when explaining my options. I opted for him to start the root canal process to save my tooth, and despite being a very nervous patient, I came out very happy. My pain was gone and I felt very well looked after. Thank you!
