Fantastic experience: After attending the posterior directs weekend I could not recommend it enough to any clinician desiring a deeper understanding of the gold standard of isolation, matrix systems and application, bonding and anatomy delivered in a hands on practical format. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Taha for over a year now and have found the whole experience really great. I had to have a fair amount of work done including fillings, cleaning, bridgework and orthodontics and have found every aspect of the work dealt with the utmost professionalism but also in a very caring and friendly manner. The clinic uses state of the art technology and techniques from what I've seen (and with my very limited knowledge of dentistry!) and the dentists, hygienists, nurses and receptionists there have all been lovely. I'm very happy with everything I've had done there!

Fantastic experience: So impressed by the whole treatment experience which I received at TAHA Dental Surgery, Abingdon, today. I needed an emergency procedure as I broke a tooth in half last week.. careful how you bite into Brazil nuts!!! .. All the staff, from the receptionist who took my initial phone enquiry, to the people who greeted me at the surgery and who undertook the actual tooth extraction that I needed, were first class. Professional but friendly, calming and approachable, not pushy and very caring. I was treated with respect and felt very safe and confident about the need for the treatment and about how it was carried out. I was also really pleased to receive after care instructions both verbally and by email after the appointment. I would recommend the practice 110%!!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending TAHA dental of ExcellenceFor just over a year, my teeth were very crooked and very overcrowded and I was very conscious when I smiled. I made an appointment with TAHA unsure whether they could actually do Anything. Lydia did explain that it was going to be quite complicated But she could see how much this meant to me and so the journey began and I am so grateful to Lydia and The other staff at the practice they are so friendly and helpful and Lydia has given me back my smile and my confidence. I no longer hold my hand over my mouth when smiling.

Fantastic experience: The whole team here and the clinic is just superb. I had clear braces fitted and Lydia was fantastic at explaining everything she was doing and putting me at ease throughout the treatment. She did an amazing job of straightening out my overcrowded teeth in such a short space of time and also did composite bonding which has given me a perfect smile which I am so pleased with! Her attention to detail is outstanding. So glad I found this place and cannot rate them highly enough!

The large dental room is like a posh spa experience, with comfortable leather seats, a plush cushion behind your head, an incredible view of the river and gentle background music. Fantastic experience: I was one of the few lucky Dentists to have received an exceptionally high quality dental treatment by Dr Thomas Taha and his team today. Fantastic experience: I found TAHA Dental when I moved to the area a couple years ago and needed a general check up. Having had my initial appointment the option of Invisalign was suggested (I’ve always wanted perfect teeth!) and I jumped at it. From the get go the whole team hasn’t missed a single mark anywhere. The practice is incredibly efficient and well run, state of the art and unbelievably clean. On top of that everyone is genuinely so friendly, I don’t get nervous with getting dental work done, but, for those that do, I would imagine the kindness showed by all would be very calming. Finally I would like to give Lydia a big thank you for such incredible work over the past year (and putting up with my useless aligner wearing discipline!) - I now have the smile I always wanted, and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend to all.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist I've ever been to. I'll never go to another one again! Thomas is an extremely efficient and talented dentist, he put me at ease before having some work done to my teeth and I felt confident I was in good hands. Receptionists are lovely and quick to reply to emails, the hygienist Aimee is excellent too and the premises itself are lovely with beautiful views over the river. As a dentist myself, I have admired the work of Dr Thomas for a while and I knew I could trust him and his team to provide the highest quality care for me. As well as putting my mind at ease and being extremly calm and kind with me, over the coming months he worked miracles on fixing my teeth and getting my smile back. Fantastic experience: Being someone who hasn't had good experience in the past with dentists, I originally found myself a little anxious with the work I needed doing. However, any worries I had were quite quickly put to rest on my very first appointment with Dr. Lydia. Dr. Lydia has been very patient with me throughout all the treatments I required, explained everything to me clearly and handled all procedures carefully. I'm really happy the results of my five sessions and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Taha and especially Dr. Lydia. I found them to be very professional and I look forward to any future checkups I may need, which isn't something I would have seen myself saying based on past experience with other dental practices.

Fantastic experience: I recently wanted to explore the idea of having gum recession treatment and having looked across Oxfordshire, DR Thomas at TAHA Dental Excellence was the one I decided to visit. I have never been good at going to a Dentist due to past fears however I can say that my fear has been totally alleviated. DR Thomas quickly identified that the more pressing matter was the requirement for a number of fillings and prepared a treatment plan. He showed me the photos and took the time to explain what his findings were so I felt well informed. Having now had two sessions I can confidently say I have found a dentist I wish to remain with moving forward. DR Thomas is a perfectionist and this is reflected in his work.I would recommend anyone to TAHA Dental Excellence and I can confidently say all my treatment so far has been pain free.

Fantastic experience: I am a dentist and i have seen Dr Taha’s work on fb groups.I have also watched an online course.His work is impeccable.There are dentists around the world with amazing skills but where i think Dr Taha differs is that he posseses an unmatched natural talent.He seems to be the most positive dentist out there.I don’t blame him.He is a scientist but also an artist of the highest level.As a dentist that has worked in the UK i could easily say after seeing the prices of the practice he has built that they are very reasonable if not modest.

She makes you feel so comfortable, she has managed to match exactly what I was going for. My teeth look absolutely beautiful but also natural and you would never know I had composite added to them. Dr Lydia is very good at her work and I would advise on even booking a consultation to discuss your teeth and the various options you can go for as she’ll provide you with an honest view on the route you can go down. I am so happy and will definitely be recommending all my friends !!

Fantastic experience: I didn't think I'd ever use the word in an online review but I would describe my experience of Taha Dental Excellence as "outstanding", from day one! I've needed quite a lot of work over the last year or so and was very apprehensive after previous negative experiences of dental work. I can honestly say that here, it has been painless and the whole atmosphere is conducive to relaxation, with the skill and expertise instilling complete trust in the work being done. Every step of the way has been explained in a matter of fact, 'non-patronising' manner, with before and after images to illustrate further. The work needed is also clearly set out in a written 'treatment plan' to give you a chance to review and consider before booking your appointment. Each time the end product has been excellent. ALL the staff that I have encountered have been polite, friendly and professional - every time I've visited. My thanks to Dr. Thomas and his team for such a positive and comfortable experience!

Dr William Lau is brilliant Dentist, you get a real sense of passion for his work and he always creates a comforting environment for patients (even the nervous ones) In my experience, all of the dental nurses are personable and professional, offering great support during appointments. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to visit TAHA Dental Excellence by my partner who works in the dental profession after having had some traumatic experiences with military dental services. Moving to TAHA for my dental treatment was the best decision I have made. I no longer have any pain, my teeth feel amazing and I know they are in the best condition now. I had a few fillings with Dr Thomas which blend in to the point you can’t tell which teeth have the fillings. One of which was very deep and I am pleased to say I have not had any problems since. I was blown away with the equipment, screens, layout and views at TAHA. Dr Thomas is very professional with a great sense of humour. He made me feel relaxed and has definitely helped me overcome the dental anxiety I used to have. I am currently having my teeth straightened with Invisalign by Dr Lydia. Dr Lydia is very professional, calming and explains things clearly but in great depth. She has also been excellent with working appointments around my military schedule which I am grateful for, especially when I have to go away. The quality and professionalism at TAHA from the whole team is by far the best that I have experienced and I would recommend them to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lydia Sharples is a gem. She carried out three deep composite fillings, and the results blend in to the point I can barely tell what's tooth and what's filling. Exceptionally natural work. I also appreciated that Dr Sharples explained everything she was going to do and checked in with me multiple times during each procedure. She's attentive and answered any question I had. The practice itself is immaculate; the rest of the team are warm and professional; and from my initial appointment to my most recent, I felt listened to and cared for. I've been to quite a few dentists over the years, but none were this good. I thoroughly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 would highly recommend! The receptionist ( Sarah ?) is always warm and welcoming, happy to help with anything you need - never get to stay in reception long as you get taken through to see the dentist almost immediately but it is always pristinely clean and bright. Dr Lydia removed my top two wisdom teeth in one session , dr Thomas surgically removed my bottom two wisdom teeth separately . They were both kind and supporting throughout the process and would talk you through everything they were doing and why. They provided aftercare and advice and would arrange follow up appointments for the week after. Samantha the hygienist cleaned my teeth and advised me on better home dental care that caters to me personally. It’s clear that everyone here really care about their work and show such a high level of professionalism. Thank you to everyone at TAHA dental!

I felt like I was at a spa .Sam was super helpful talked me through everything she was doing and really gentle to the touch but made my teeth feel /look fantastic with her magic My 8 year old also had his first hygienist appointment too . Sam was brilliant with him making him super comfortable and guided him through the process making it a dream to bring him to the dentist . I have followed Thomas's work for years and I couldn't think of any other dentist who I would trust. I know Thomas uses the best materials in the market and is a perfectionist. Fantastic experience: I have traveled now a total of three times from The Netherlands to England to follow Dr. Taha’s courses, and I have every intention to keep doing it as long as he puts out a new course. The Dr. is one of the most knowledgeable and at the same time down to earth dentists I have ever met. As other colleagues have said in this reviews, his courses are not only over technique and teeth but also over philosophy, work ethics, and everything is sprinkled with great doses of humor. His courses (as he is) are relaxed and I always leave feeling inspired and like I have learned from a true clinician who follows a path of his own and who has put a lot of reflection on who he is and why he does what he does. His attention to detail is unmatched. It’s always a pleasure, and if I was living in the vicinity he would definitely be my dentist. But since I’m not, I’m happy to be able to learn from him and emulate his steps to the best of my ability. Can’t wait to come back to Abingdon.

Fantastic experience: I have had an amazing experience at TAHA Dentist. My 2 crowned front teeth had got old,worn, and looked ugly. I went to see Tom and he went through all options, I had one recrowned, the other was infected so sadly had to be removed but I decided I go for implant, I never came out of practice once feeling uncomfortable, pain or let down. Fantastic experience: It is the best dental practice I have ever been!! I had an appointment booked for last week but unfortunately I wasn’t well so I had to cancel my appointment last minute. Dr Thomas was so understanding and managed to book me another appointment so quickly. I went to the practice yesterday to have my teeth done and the dental practice looks amazing! There is a machine next to the door entrance for shoe cover to make sure the dental practice is as hygienic as possible. Because I arrived too early for my appointment, I was sitting in the waiting area and I was offered to use the guest wifi while I was waiting which was very thoughtful. Then I went to see Dr Will Lau who is very professional and knowledgable. He has taken photos of my teeth and explained really clearly on what needed to be done and also the reasons behind it. Dr Will Lau and his assistant Carmen were such a good team. My teeth was cleaned thoroughly and I have never thought my teeth could be this smooth and clean! I also had some fillings done and Dr Will Lau was very gentle that it was absolutely painless and I couldn’t feel it at all! Initially I thought I only needed one small filling but after the check up, we realised there were more work to be done so the appointment has overrun. Hannah and Carmen were very kind and did not mind that I have kept them behind their opening hour. I have always been very nervous going to the dentist but the Taha dentist team has made me realised that going to the dentist can be a pleasant experience and made me feel that I am well looked after by the team. Highly recommend this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: Have just recently been on the posterior composite course and I would say it was excellent. The facilities at the practice were brilliant and can see how the standards there are kept so high. The course will help not only from a technical skill point but also talking about the psychological aspects also makes you think about why you are doing what you are doing. Thomas himself is so knowledgeable that will be able to give answers to any clinical scenario you may have come across and can see how he is one of the best. Overall would recommend to anyone no matter what skill level you are, you will pick up on so many little things that you will be able to take to your own practice the very next day.

Fantastic experience: Recently attended the posterior composite course and had the most amazing learning experience. It is not just your average composite course as it is not just about posterior composites but mindset, philosophy, approach and protocols. One could not help but notice the amount of work that must have gone into planning and preparation. The course is comprehensive and covers every possible scenario which you could encounter in your practice. Dr Thomas is a brilliant teacher , passionate clinician and breaks down even the most difficult clinical situation into small doable steps. Surely, I would be returning for another course. The clinic is modern, immaculate and at the most picturesque location. I would highly recommend TAHA excellence and the course.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Taha dental. From the very first impressions the surgery has a luxury feel, where you don't feel like you are in a dentist. I was initially an anxious patient who didn't like the dentist but William and his team are amazing. He took the time to understand my concerns and adapted his approach to make sure I felt comfortable. Clearly very knowledgable and experienced and the results I've seen have been amazing. Super quick replies, quick to get an appointment and due to the late opening hours I've never needed to book time off work. Would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone but especially to those who are nervous about the dentist.

I was booked in quickly and I was reassured and made aware of what was happening throughout. Dr Thomas was gentle and kind during the difficult procedure which made it much more bearable. Fantastic experience: This is an excellent dental surgery in lovely surroundings and with very pleasing decor that all adds to a sense of peace and reassurance. Every detail has been carefully thought out, from the automatic hygienic shoe wrapping machine on entry, the calming ceiling videos while in the chair, and the welcome air conditioning (on a very hot day). I was treated by the delightful Dr Will Lau and his assistant. My teeth were cleaned expertly - they have never looked so clean -, the rough surface on a stained front tooth sitting further back from the others was polished and is now whiter and appears straighter, and an ill fitting crown that was full of decay was removed and prepared for a new porcelain crown. I return in a fortnight to have it fitted and to receive my home whitening kit. The entire experienc was painless, enjoyable even, especially on seeing the results. Dr Lau kept me informed at every step of the way. I am also impressed by the high quality of the equipment used. All in all a great experience. My one regret is that I didn't discover this dentist sooner. Travelling in from Oxford is no problem and I will definitely return.
