Fantastic experience: Only saw the hygienist Mandy. She does a great job . I have been coming to this practice for years and seen many changes. Since Kreate took over I have been asked for deposits for various treatments but always 3 months in advance for a hygienist appointment . I think this is outrageous as I have never missed an appointment and always pay as I leave. !

Regarding the advance deposit for hygienist appointments: I completely understand how frustrating that must feel, especially given your reliable attendance and payment history. The policy was introduced to help reduce last-minute cancellations and ensure appointment availability, but it’s never our intention to make loyal patients feel penalised.

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed that I need to change my previous post. I still believe the dentists at Kreate Dental are very professional, and the reception staff work hard to arrange appointments. However, when I requested a copy of my medical record for an insurance claim, they still haven’t provided it after four weeks. I understand this document is not handled by the clinic staff, so I don’t blame them, but I really hope I can get my record before the insurance claim deadline. Wish me luck. Positive experience: My appointment was efficient ,well arranged and prompted and on time.Hygienist (Amesha?) was excellent, sensitive and patient. I am really fortunate in the service of the hygienists, my dentist, Ursula and I like the reception team and office manager, Amy B, who have always been helpful to me. I recommend them unreservedly to anyone. All of that said, given that Kreate claim to welcome feedback, the ambience is now one of corporateness and feels financially rather than service driven. An overhaul was overdue but some of the building's friendliness and locality context has been lost. Little touches re magazines, children's activities and even actually a bit of clutter were nice and familiar. The website needs better local differentiation. It presents Rugby as an adjunct to it's Kent operations and has no local feel- its information is hard to get at and interactivity poor. The Reception desk at Rugby is in an awkward place and queuing is constrained by space and design. This could easily be resolved by automation or clarifying check in process, if needed. Check-ins could just be guided straight to seated areas with a simple welcome and no need for queuing or automated? Within dental areas computers are now behind rather than at the side- so communication is often from behind. With mask usage, positioning is trickier for patients with hearing loss. No doubt much will settle in time. There is a lot of change ongoing, no doubt necessary. All of this premises change was attended by a review of financial arrangements, plans and costs, somewhat rushed and not consulted. I do understand the logic and recognise the winner loser element of all change. I just feel that Kreate's distant ownership needs to work at reproducing some of the local and personal touches and distinct Rugby feel of its systems and communications and to do more personal,less costly customer care. Maybe some of the change is post COVID and obligatory and maybe common to Gravesend, Dartford and Rugby. You asked for feedback! Andrew Leech

Fantastic experience: Dr.Aron was professional,yet had a real warmth and made you feel like he does care and will assist you in anyway possible to reach your desired dental outcome. The nurses and kind and efficient. The reception staff are attentive and also accomodate you to try and meet your times availble for appointments. The fact the the practise stays open for a few hours after five pm to accommodate working clientele, as well as having a Saturday per month available, says it all. You feel like you are in safe hands and that you are valued as a customer.

Negative experience: This is my second time visiting the dental hygienist. The appointment is for 30 minutes, she finished in 15 minutes. When I got back home, I found that she hadn't removed any of the stains. Very disappointed with the service and I won't be going back there again.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Service. I have been with Kreate Dental for the past five years for my orthodontic treatment. I must admit things were a bit rocky to begin with when it used to be called Paddox Dental, but ever since Kirpal took over my orthodontic treatment with Kreate Dental, I have had no problems whatsoever. The process has been long, but that was to be expected and made clear when I began as my teeth used to be a Grade 5. I have come away today with my braces off and retainer fitted and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I now see Aron as a private patient as my usual dentist. Both Kirpal and Aron have been amazing, honest and so patient with me. The building work is also finally coming to an end, which is a bonus, and the place looks great!

Fantastic experience: This place has gone to the dogs in the last 18 months ! Appt last week at half 2, arrived and waiting outside till staff could be bothered to open up at 2.25 despite sign on door saying lunch was 1-2pm . Then waited till 2.40pm to be seen as all the staff were chatting to each other and giggling round their phone . As for the building work how much longer is it going to fake . It’s a complete mess outside with no end in sight . Only reason I’ll give another go is I’m local to the area . If things done improve I’ll gladly move to a new dentist !

Negative experience: I booked my first appointment and I was called to say the dentist was sick as I was walking out the door. Frustrating, but it happens. The rescheduled appointment went fine but then when I scheduled a third appointment, I was called mere hours before the appointment to say the hygienist was sick. So 2 out of the 3 appointments have been cancelled with almost zero notice. Yet I’m constantly reminded that if I cancel within 24 hours, I’ll be charged?

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed – Poor Treatment Planning and Communication We have had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with this orthodontic practice. My son has now been in treatment for over three years, and what was supposed to be a clearly managed process has turned into a drawn-out, directionless ordeal. In January 2024, I asked how much longer the treatment would take and was told it would be another six months. It is now June 2025, and not only is he still wearing his braces, but there has been no meaningful progress. To make matters worse, my son—now studying at university in Nottingham—has had to make the journey back every six weeks for the past year, only to be told that no changes or adjustments are needed. These visits have become repetitive, disruptive, and frankly, pointless. We recently sought a second opinion and were shocked to hear that he is nowhere near the end of his treatment. His jaw is still not aligned, and key adjustments that ideally should have been made before he turned 18 were completely missed. We were advised that making those changes becomes much more difficult once growth has stopped. It appears the orthodontist has been more focused on renovating and expanding the practice than on providing proper, attentive care. The lack of planning, communication, and professional accountability is deeply concerning. We feel completely let down by this practice. I would strongly advise others to get a second opinion early and monitor their treatment progress closely. Trust, once lost, is hard to regain

Negative experience: When it was paddox dental surgery and Dr Tonks had it, it was a lovely warm well kept little practice I went as a child, but we were referred to what is now Kreate by our regular practice for my autistic daughter to get braces and we just found it bad from the start. Right from our first visit my issue was she was supposed to be seen and had her appointment just before her 16th birthday for work to be carried out, but it had to be moved purely because the funding allocated for her treatment had already been spent so we had to wait until the following month as a result. I did complain and they were just shockingly rude about it tbh. I took it to practice manager and the Orthadontist himself but was met with blind arrogance. When they did her mouldings for her braces, it had to be done twice as her braces were wrong, they really hurt her both times but again I was told “it does happen sometimes” I did ask my own practice several times to be moved but they said if we did, we would go to the back of the 2year long waiting list again, in the end he couldn't help her anyway so referred us on for possible surgery and so we have been moved now thankfully and my daughter is a lot happier. The practice we are with now said surgery can't happen till she's at least 18 and only after fixed braces and all other options have been exhausted and so he didn't really know why we were told she could have it and it be her only remaining option. Admittedly I could have missunderstood what was said but I didn't do the surgical referral so it's not likely. Each to their own but in our experience and from our perspective between the rudeness and arrogance of staff, the over all rundown poorly maintained premises half painted skirting dirty scuffed walls and the overall failure to actually correct my daughters teeth its just not somewhere I could or would recommend, there's much better options out there.

Negative experience: With all the work going on for SO long, it is difficult to give an accurate appraisal. The staff are doing their best to make clients feel confident but it is nigh on impossible. I arrived for an appointment for which I was totally mislead - insufficient surgery time had been allocated for the work I thought was going to be done - a wasted morning for me and now I have to wait another month before the next stage of my treatment can be carried out. I'm not sure whose fault it was but it was most inefficient. Everyone was very apologetic but that is not the point. Why it has taken so long to complete the renovations, I'm not sure. Perhaps closing completely and getting everything done quickly would have been preferable. Congratulations to the staff for keeping everything going in such difficult circumstances. Prior to this situation I was completely satisfied with the treatment I was receiving.

Negative experience: I went for my child dental treatment Mr Ajay told since he is child he will refer to community dental service in Aug 23 on urgent basis. Upon checking with community dental service they said they received under normal priority and we waited till dec for the treatment. Upon calling the same they said the previous referral got expired so i need to call Kreate Dental for rebooking. I made twice calls and they said they made referral again but they didn't received any. Such a horrible dental service who is careless against small child having cavity his entire tooth is eaten by cavity. This should be reported to higher mgmt handling the practice

Negative experience: We had been waiting for my son’s braces appointment for a long time, around a year. Today when I attended with my son, the dentist examined him and asked a few questions, he also asked him whether you still need the braces? My child answered “I am not sure” the dentist said “then I am referring back to your dentist and ask them to refer him again for braces when he is sure”. Most of the things we are doing and deciding for our son as he has some medical conditions. I am so disappointed that the dentist decided based on what my son said but didn’t ask the parent’s opinion. Last January also we had an appointment for the same reason (for braces) with the same dentist but he postponed this for 8 months and now he has referred back to our dentist without doing anything. I tried to explain to him to consider our (the parents’) opinions and request to consider doing braces sooner, but he refused to listen to me. It seems the dentist is the owner of Kreate dental so whatever I write here will not help in any way, however I just want to tell him that I wasn’t happy today. Best regards, Malaravan S

Negative experience: Hello, on Saturday 18/05/2024 I had an appointment for the hygienist and a check up but I was late with 20 min because on that day in Rugby lost of roadworks. When I arrived there the receptionist said that I am late for my appointment and I lost my deposit I want to mention that the charged me with the full amount £69, instead the receptionist said that I still have time for the check up, I told her that the check up was booked only because her colleague said that I cannot see the hygienist without an check up and this is a extra service which I don't need, then I asked if I can speak with the menegement but without result, the staff was non polite and not incompetent to help me, then I asked if is possible to pay for the lateness half of the deposit paid already and booked another appointment, she said no, because of their policies, I don't think their policies are above the law, this is a clear scam, also I call the practice few times when I was on the way to let them know that the roads are closed and I can be late noone answered, the receptionist said that on Saturday the don't answer the phone on that day, so this was a real trap, I had a bad experience and I feel horrible and scammed. The worse experience in my life.I would like to know what the exact amount charged by your practice for the lateness? And how can you charge me for a service which I did not receive.

Negative experience: Since this practice has been taken over the service has been extremly poor. They have made a number of attempts to extend the treatment when it has not been needed. I attended an appointment today to have my braces removed to be told they won’t remove them. Extending of treatment clearly leads to more money. Avoid at all costs

Negative experience: If I could leave 0* I would! The old person on reception needs a lesson in customer service. So rude! I went to enquire about joining the practice but after my encounter with her and seeing lots of ants crawling around the dusty radiators I’d rather spend my money elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: Very thorough initial consultation with a good level of explaining the treatment protocols and clinical diagnoses. Good x-ray machine to hospital standard, which allowed for the dentist to show clearly the issues affecting the tooth concerned and immediate areas in the jawbone.

Fantastic experience: I have been to the surgery twice now, once for a check up and the second time for a replacement filling and to see the hygienist and both visits have been brilliant. All the staff are always really friendly and helpful and the service they provide is much better than other dentists I’ve been to. Highly recommend!
