They recently had a child friendly morning that was catered specifically for children. There was a children's entertainer and the staff dressed up as super heroes and tooth fairies. Fantastic experience: Dr. Shiraz Akram is an outstanding dentist and orthodontist who I would highly recommend for Invisalign teeth straightening and cosmetic dentistry. Right from the start, I received excellent orthodontic treatment. The attention to detail and after care is exceptional which exceeded all expectations. I have the smile and the confidence that I always wanted.

Fantastic experience: The team at Pure Smiles are great. I struggled to smile due to a dead/discoloured front tooth. Dr Ayzaaz was great at talking me through my treatment options. After some dental wizardry including a custom crown my teeth are now straighter and whiter but most importantly look completely natural. Friends and family have commented how I now actually smile! I can't thank Dr Ayzaaz and the team enough and would thoroughly recommend them. See you in 6 months for my routine check up :)

Fantastic experience: I have followed Dr Akram from North London as I enjoyed the friendly, honest and efficient approach. The team working with him are a joy and Ciara has given me hope that I can have good looking teeth into my old age. How many people do you know who actually enjoy a trip to the dentist?

Negative experience: I attended the Fulham Road site for a routine hygienist appointment. Firstly, I was instructed to arrive a few minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment, so that I could complete paperwork prior to seeing the Hygienist. When I did arrive, there was no one at reception to let me in (I saw the Hygienist through the door who signalled to me to wait...but didn’t let me in. Following procedures maybe). It was the Dental Nurse / Assistant, who appeared to be returning from lunch, who eventually let me in. I waited for the Receptionist to arrive a few minutes later. She didn’t offer me an apology for having me wait. I was asked to put my belongings in a plastic container, which I respectfully declined - citing that I was unsure of their sanitising process and as such, preferred to keep my belongings with me. Rather than the Receptionist highlighting what the sanitising process was as a way of reassuring me, the response I received was “I can assure you it has been sanitised” - she then walked away. I waited and seeing nothing was happening, prompted being given the form I had arrived early for, which was handed to me in such a way that seemed an imposition. The hygienist appointment itself was ok - the Dental Assistant had a lovely manner and the reason I could find stars to rate my visit; and whilst I couldn’t fault the standard of service received from the Hygienist (i.e. I left with my teeth cleaner), I felt like the ‘2.30 appointment’ and it appeared she was ticking a box. I went on to purchase additional items at reception and by the time I left, another patient was outside, waiting to enter. I opened and stepped out of the door, allowing the next patient in...the receptionist apologised to him for having to wait. The one thing that I really valued about previous visits, was the friendly way other staff at Puresmiles had treated me and subsequently how that made me feel - not least, wanting to return. Receiving dental input personally, puts me in a very vulnerable position and so, being greeted in an acceptable manner, being ‘seen’ /considered and treated in a far more affable way, was essential for my visit to go well. This visit fell well short of the standard that I expect from Puresmiles, as such my previous 5 star rating has dropped considerably.

Fantastic experience: Once you find a good dentist, you stay with the practice no matter how many times you move house. I started in 1960 when the practice - and I - lived in Fulham. Then there was the move to Fulham Road with much improved facilities. Then the great little practice in the New King's Road offers a range of services. I see the very, very attractively Irish hygienist regularly and Ayzaz the leader of the practice as necessary for treatment. The only way to describe Ayzaz' talent is to say that out of town dentists come to see him work. If you care about your teeth then this is where you can safely come.

He saw me the same day and the immediate problem was resolved. I thereafter was recommended to visit the Hygienist (Ciara) who managed to give me my smile back again! Shiraz has been my regular dentist for years and always remembers what's going in my life, initiating great conversation and putting me at ease. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Pure Smiles for over a decade and always exceptional service and great treatment of my teeth. For many years I was totally petrified going to any dentist and they have done a great job calming my fears and ensuring that my teeth stay healthy and in good shape.

I don’t think I’ll ever be someone who enjoys going to the dentist, but the friendliness and knowledge of the Pure Smiles team make the whole experience much less daunting. The treatment I have received from them is incomparable with that I received from my previous dentist - due to the high tech equipment and their level of skill as practitioners. Fantastic experience: Always super professional and knowledgeable - can't recommend Suraj highly enough. Always a laugh in the chair and great chat as well (even when I'm having my teeth cleaned and there are three hands in my mouth hahah). Not one to be scared of the dentist, but if you were then Pure Smiles would soon change that!

Negative experience: Came here once in 2013. I was told all my lower molars needed fillings(!). Since moving away and finding another dentist - guess what? No fillings have ever been required, or even any decay found in the molars. It's now 2019 and neither of my regular dentists have ever found the same "problem" as the dentist at Pure Smiles found. I'd be cautious here.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Ayzaaz for nearly 6 years and he is hands down the best dentist around. When I moved away from Fulham, I tried 3 very highly rated dentists in other areas closer to my house, but none came close to Ayzaaz! I now drive 2 hours for my dentist appointments! He always has the newest tech and really wants to make everything as painless as possible! Couldn’t recommend more!!

Fantastic experience: I had put off necessary dental treatment for over 30 years so needed a lot of work done. Pure Smiles fitted me into several short spaced but long appointments to complete all the overdue treatment quickly. Although it wasn’t exactly ‘pleasant’ I was never in pain and was even distracted enough to laugh at the TV program I was watching with head phones on. Their use of modern technology means much less discomfort after anaesthetics, and no moulds required. I don’t think I’ll defer dental treatment again since this positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic pain-free experience. I have sensitive teeth so it was a relief not to feel any pain during fillings/ cleaning. I found the television screen overhead to be a welcome distraction. The practice is spotless. It always gives me confidence that they will leave my teeth looking flawless, which they do.

Fantastic experience: I'm giving a 5-star review but note - as comparison to the NHS dentists that I have been to in the past. The examination was very thorough and equipment used is the latest gear (I checked it out online). They found wisdom teeth that no previous dentist had ever found (sigh...) Treatment needed went well and was very happy at the measures to prevent any old fillings entering my body. The cost felt fairly compared to NHS but recently a friend had very similar treatment at a dentist in SE london and was quoted £400 more

Fantastic experience: Almost done with my Invisalign treatment with Dr.Sammy McCulloch. I didn't know anything about it but he guided me through the process and always explained everything in detail so I could understand it all. The first consultation is extremely helpful as their is a detailed report of everything at the end. The space as well is comfortable and the equipment is sophisticated. It's really great to go to a place that is so professional, yet so comfortable. Dr.McCulloch makes sure that I always leave happy and although my treatment isn't over yet, I am so happy with the result so far. Recommending him to everyone I know!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Overall excellent experience at Pure Smile. Skills of the Dentists and Hygienists seem excellent and give great confidence. For long procedures, it is worth being able to watch TV or Netflix thanks to the ceiling mounted TVs. Great family owned business. The only negative thing would be that it is tough to book them sometimes... ransom of success.

Negative experience: Comes with a warning! Why is the first question of each apt what I do for a living? First apt, I was told all my fillings needed to be replaced - £££! They’ve since tried to sell me gum guards & teeth whitening - something different every time. Classic unnecessary work! Many of the staff seem very professional but don't rely or trust the dentist. My gut instinct is that you should get a second opinion & be careful - sales man! A real shame because I was just looking for a long term dentist that I trusted & I feel that I’ve been duped.

Fantastic experience: Three crowns in one go. A painless professional coronation, fine work and great cosmetically too; all done while I watched a wild-life video on a large screen over the dental chair. Almost as good as first class air travel!

Negative experience: Dr Akram is an unprofessional dentist and I would not recommend attending this or the other puresmile branch in Fulham (I was treated at both). I went as an NHS patient and they refused to clean my teeth and said this wasn’t offered even though he recommend I go and see their private hygenisit. He pushed me to pay for the most expensive crown on the market as it was ‘the best option with it being a back tooth and would last triple the time a normal crown would’. I went for this option, once completed he tried to charge me an extra £240+ On top of already paying an extra £900 for the crown, the £240+ was not explained when we went through everything beforehand. The crown has not been fitted properly and huge lumps of food get stuck which I cannot even get out with a toothpick it has to be floss, so in result I have to carry around floss daily (this is over 7 months on and still having the issue) he refuses to rectify his bad workmanship. What a waste of money. Stay away from this dentist would be my advice.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday morning one of my crowns fell out...yikes! A hurried phone call to Pure Smiles and the lovely Denise squeezed me in to see Ayzaaz. Fifteen minutes after my appointment I left with my crown back in place! Everything about this dental practice is excellent. I am one of the 'nervous' ones when it comes to dentists :-( But Ayzaaz is brilliant with me. He's very calming and reassuring. Going to the dentist is a necessary part of our lives, so it makes sense to find a dentist that makes it as pleasant an experience as possible.

Fantastic experience: I came into Pure Smiles to straighten my teeth using Invisalign and had two veneers placed at the end of the treatment. I can say that from the moment I met Dr. Shiraz for my consultation all the way to the end of my treatment (1.5 years later) he was amazing! He will take his time to listen to ALL your concerns, answer ALL your questions, and is so diligent with his work. He was honest, passionate and professional yet in a friendly manner, and over all a lovely man.
