Fantastic experience: I was fortunate to be accepted as an NHS patient by Torrington Dentistry for manufacture of a new top denture to replace an old one that was in constant need of repair. The care and service that I received from Suhayl and Maddie was outstanding and has resulted in a denture that is a perfect and comfortable fit that now enables me to enjoy mealtimes again. Earlier this year I had a tooth which was a technical challenge, and Suhayl showed great skill and maturity to investigate and explain his analysis and solution. Suhayl and his assistant, Leanne on that occasion, showed obvious dedication and teamwork, whilst always ensuring I remained comfortable, and informed. From the moment I enquired with their reception team to being seen by the dentist, I don’t believe I have ever had such a “pleasant” experience of a dentist before (if going to the dentist can be pleasant). What a great team and I thank you for your assistance.

Fantastic experience: I recently got referred to Torrington Dental Practice for sedation as I had a massive fear of the dentist and was told by a previous dental practice that nothing would be able to be done unless I was sedated. I have had a couple of sessions with Rhys Gabe and can honestly say I don't need to avoid the dentist anymore! He was absolutely amazing and made me feel more confident and that it was ok to be nervous. I was also able to have treatment without sedation and can now just go onto normal routine appointments. I have now transferred my Son and Husband to Torrington as I wouldn't want to go to anywhere else! Thank you so much Rhys for all your help and Patience and to all the other members of the team for being so lovely. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was a very nervous patient and was sent as a referral for treatment. The reception staff were all lovely. And i saw a lovely dentist called Sammy Holt and his assistant leanne. They immediately put me at ease, explained things as they were treating me. I can't speak more highly of them. I am a very nervous patient. So it's a big Thankyou from me to you both. X There needs to be more dentist's like you. Well done Torrington dental practice. Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I broke a tooth and was given an appointment for the following week. However, because of sharp broken tooth edges, by the following day my tongue was very sore and I could hardly speak. I called the surgery back that day and was given an emergency appointment straight away. The tooth was smoothed off and a temporary fix put on it. I can't imagine what it would have been like to have had to wait for the week. They didn't say, but I am sure that the dentist had to miss part of their lunch or something to fit me in. I am very grateful. I have always found this dentist to go above and beyond and I cannot recommend it enough. It’s now a few weeks later and I have had my first session to ‘upgrade’ the temporary fix to a permanent one; again, the care and attention was excellent and the hour it took to start me on my journey to getting it sorted flew by. Thank you.

A huge reception area and a welcoming smile from the receptionist. The décor was charm and relaxing not cluttered with posters, I felt like I was getting the royal treatment and then disappointed to see, this applied to everyone. Fantastic experience: New Patient 2023. Walking through the doors for the first time one is immediately struck by the calming decor, comfortable seating areas and a very efficient and professional reception team. As I am Registered Disabled they kindly allocated me a Dentist on the ground floor. My first consultation was taken up with discussing my past medical history, a oral assessment then xrays and finally a 3D scan. By the second appointment (with the hygienist) my treatment plan was underway. I have just completed stage 1 of my treatment and I am thrilled with the results. What joy to be pain free, and have the confidence to smile again in public. My coping strategy before was to simply stay in doors avoid people, avoid friends and in no time at all I was depressed. Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot thank Torrington Dental enough! After a very bad experience last year with another practice I had become extremely nervous of dentists to say the least. After breaking a molar I had no choice but to get it repaired. I was lucky enough to get into this wonderful practice for the treatment. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the patience and care I received from Sammy and the lovely nurses. I certainly wasn't the easiest of patients but I was reassured and made to feel safe throughout. I left today feeling 100 times better than when I went in. Thank you to all I have met at tdp for helping me overcome my anxiety in a warm and welcoming environment.

Fantastic experience: I had knocked my crowned incisor and the post snapped at gum level, so beyond repair. Some numbing gel prior to injections, made the extraction virtually pain-free. Reception team also helped greatly, with sorting my insurance claims.

Everyone working there are friendly, reassuring and very professional. My latest course of treatment was for a dental implant, carried out by John Cato and team and the results are superb. Each part of the procedure was clearly explained and carried out in a calm, relaxing environment. I had no pain at all, throughout or following the operation. I am very pleased with the outcome. Any treatment necessary has been effective and and carried out with expert and friendly precision. Appointments are chosen by the receptionists to be most convenient for the patient and are changed without demure if asked.

Fantastic experience: After struggling with toothe ache for months I rang Torrington Dental Pactice and they agreed to see me ,which im more than greatful for as i couldnt get in at my regular Dentist. I saw Cameron Shaw and he examined my teeth and came up with a Dental treatment plan for me. He is an amazing dentist that put me at ease straight away. Some of my teeth were in a bad way and I was worried I was going to loose them. But Cameron done an amazing job on them and rebuilt them for me and im so happy with the results he also answered all my questions and nothing was ever to much trouble, such an upbeat, chatty and friendly man. I want to say thank you to the whole of Torrington Dental Practice you are such an amazing team and such a calm and relaxed environment and all the staff are lovely and friendly. Fantastic experience: Cam and the team dealt with my 2x fillings with professionalism and care beyond their years. Throughout the procedures I felt as a patient put first. This is in stark contrast to other NHS dentists in the past, although I doubt they would treat you any different at Torrington Dental if you were private or NHS. I felt Cam did my fillings with real care and skill beyond his years. He answered my questions excellently and appeared very knowledgeable. If you're looking for a new dentist or are nervous about teethwork I would thoroughly recommend him. As a side note the £60 odd sign on fee as private was a bit steep, but when I came to pay the bill I was surprised and happy to see this had been take off of the bill which was the right move. The only other strange interaction was that I seemed to be only one asked (while I was there) to use the hand sanitiser upon entering the reception, which itself is a odd request when people then sit down and use their phones which are covered in bacteria. Will definitely return back for any future work when I'm back in the country.
