Fantastic experience: I had to have a tooth extraction, which I wasn't looking forward to. I received excellent care, and can't thank my dentist and his assistant enough: they were efficient, fast and, above all, reassuring throughout the procedure. Very grateful!

Positive experience: Nice experience at the dentist. The service was quick and the staff the dentist and nurse were friendly. I went for a check up and Aroosha was my dentist. She is very nice and explained the treatments and xray well. Would recommend her

Negative experience: It wasn’t a good experience. I arrived on time for my appointment and 15 minutes later I was still waiting to be seen. 5 minutes later my regular dentist came out to tell me he would be another 15 minutes and asked me if this was OK? I explained it wasn’t, but what choice did I have?! 2 minutes later I was called upstairs to be told ‘ I have been asked to see you’, I had to ask who this person was, to be told he was a colleague of my regular dentist. No apology. By the time I was with this dentist, I was due to see the hygienist. He contacted her to say I would be late. It was very distressing and very disoriented and experience I wouldn’t wish to repeat. The patient journey needs looking at by this practice. I feel being an NHS patient I’m not treated with the same respect a private patient would be.

Fantastic experience: Dentist Rajan ‍⚕️ was outstanding: professional, calm and thorough. He provided urgent pain relief and treatment with genuine care, explaining every step clearly. Nurse Andrada ‍⚕️ was equally brilliant – gentle and attentive throughout the procedure, including a much-needed hygiene clean that left my teeth feeling fresh and clean. Thank you also for prescribing the necessary medications, which I have already collected from the pharmacy and are helping greatly. The receptionists Ifra ‍ and Khadija ‍ made registration smooth, welcoming and stress-free – even on an emergency visit! Their kindness and efficiency set the perfect tone. The whole team turned a dental emergency into a positive experience. Thank you for the excellent care, compassion and top-quality service! Highly recommend this practice to anyone in Handsworth or beyond. ✨

Negative experience: Was seen by a doctor called Raj. Treatment clean was good, no aftercare treatment plan for identified issue but to avoid food and have a healthy diet. Didn’t clean the full area that was spoken about before cleaning started. Didn't recommended anything for mouth health besides brushing with an automatic toothbrush.

Negative experience: I recently registered with your practice, and during my first appointment, I was informed that I have a serious condition. The clinician I saw told me there was no treatment available for this condition, which I found surprising. After conducting my own research, I discovered that treatment options do in fact exist. This raised concerns for me about whether I had been seen by a doctor or a therapist. When I called the practice for clarification, I was told that my first appointment was with a doctor and my second was with a therapist. However, I pointed out that I had been seen by the same individual on both occasions. At this point, a staff member who introduced herself as the practice manager asked me why I was shouting and suggested that, if I was dissatisfied with their services, I should register with another practice. I was shocked by her response, and my original question—whether I had been seen by a doctor or a therapist—was left unanswered. Before registering, I specifically requested to be seen by a doctor, yet I was ultimately seen by a therapist instead. I am not satisfied with the service I received, nor with the dismissive way in which my concerns were handled by a staff member who claimed to be the practice manager.

Negative experience: I had an appointment at Dentist today which was quite bizarre experience not just the fact I was kept waiting for 30 minutes then was seen by someone by who I was told was not a dentist but a therapist would steer clear of this place

Negative experience: Don’t check at appointment time waited long for your turn and Today I went for the appointment the receptionist name SAMI was rude & unprofessional his behaviour was very very bad. Not recommended!!!!!

The dental nurse working with him today was also lovely and made the experience even more pleasant — I’m just sorry I can’t remember her name!

There has definitely been a big improvement in customer service and the amount of information and advice given. I feel that the dentist is really trying to help me improve my dental health.

Fantastic experience: My experience today was excellent. My Dentist Yasir was brilliant in explaining the procedure, and future appointments. I was also able to get a same day appointment. Also there is no judgement . I was given good advice with no patronising attitude. All the staff are always kind and lovely . I highly recommend this dental practice. It does help to be on the dental plan, as you get a lot for the price you pay. I have always had a good experience. I've always been terrified of going in but once I am there. I was put at ease by the dentist 10/10 for the care I received

Negative experience: Had numerous texts telling me my appointment was due soon after I’d booked for a further 6 months. When I queried I was told it was a system error. It then happened again twice more. Ridiculous. Today had a hygiene appointment at 11.30am was running a touch late so tried for 11 minutes to get through to advise as a courtesy but was told all lines were busy, by an automated voice. Arrived at dentist while still on hold. 3 people at reception but no phones ringing? Queried why nobody had answered my call. Was first told by receptionist she was with a patient then she said he was a trainee and she was training him and had put the phones on silent. What?? Appalling situation. Receptionist feels in-house training is more important than answering potentially financially beneficial calls for practise or urgent / future treatment calls from patients. Basically turning away potential business. Can’t believe how unprofessional staff were and the way I was treated. Called back as I was advised by text on way home that my check up appointment next week had been cancelled. Called, but was told because I hadn’t spoken to them as I left they wouldn’t advise me of this new issue. Farcical and very childish. Please take me off your list.

Fantastic experience: I was attended on by the gracious Dr Kulraj and support today,, who provided a first rate and professional service. Luckily no major work was required on this occasion . I loved the extra time he spent explaining what additional steps I should be taking to care for my teeth. The staff on reception were amazing too. By far the best dental practice I have been a patient at in adulthood.

Negative experience: Went in today, as I had an emergency appointment, they didn't have a lift so a staff member had to help me carry my child up the stairs, when I got called into my appointment everything was fine I was greeted respectfully, but as I was having the treatment, I was told to put my hand up if I wished for the treatment to stop due to pain, I repeatedly put my hand up, several times which were ignored by the dentist, I then asked for my mouth to be completely numb he seemed annoyed and agitated by this, the treatment that I was having caused me severe pain where I was crying on the chair, I was in complete agony, but as the numbing injection was put in, he then said he would do two fillings and then that would be the end of the procedure, he then carried on to drill down my teeth and polish, which caused great agony as my teeth are extremely sensitive, i was crying the whole appointment and i also repeatedly raised my arm so say stop, which was completely ignored, the procedure in total took around an hour which I was in complete agony for, then he suggested that next time I have a sedative to relax me for my Anxiety, which wasn't the issue at all, I left there in complete and utter shock, my mouth was numb for a full 5 hours, which then resulted in me unable to eat or drink.(I am pregnant also) which didn't help. I don't think I'll ever go back to this dentist after the trauma and ignorance that occurred today. I am now terrified of dentists and do not wish to step foot in one again due to the ignorance I occurred today. I am terrified of how I was treated and ignored even though I was in so much pain.
