Tooth Club - Stevenage

Negative experience: I am giving two stars only because the dentist was excellent, very skilled and friendly. However, the level of customer care at this clinic is completely unacceptable. Composite bonding requires proper aftercare, which was not provided. I paid £3,750 for both the top and bottom, but only the top was completed, leaving me owed a £1,250 refund. I was instructed to email to request the refund, which I did, but I received no response. After following up two weeks later, I was told refunds can take up to 28 days. That period has now passed, and I have still not received my refund or any meaningful communication from the clinic. The only contact option appears to be WhatsApp, which is highly unprofessional for handling financial matters. I also called the number listed online and was assured I would receive a call back the next morning, which never happened. The lack of accountability and communication is extremely disappointing, especially given the amount of money paid.

Negative experience: Avoid Tooth Club! They should not be operating. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had—completely dishonest from start to finish. I was given a “free quote” that quickly turned into hundreds of pounds, and it turns out the quote itself actually costs £50. The customer service is awful; I’ve spoken to others who had similar experiences. I had to constantly chase them for a refund, and every time I called, I was redirected to a call centre in South Africa where no one seemed to know what was happening.

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend Tooth Club, I have had my implant, hygiene cleans and extraction done here, today I had an extraction and Dr Ilyas and Tegan were so kind, patient and gentle with me,I put all my trust in Dr Ilyas who is the best dentist I have ever seen.

Fantastic experience: I'm a nervous person who dosent like the dentist and I have had bad experiences with the NHS where I lost my trust in them at the hospital back in Essex, I thought I'd try to get my first proper dentistry since my check up from when I was 16 yrs old with tooth club and they understand my worries and was able to proceed with treatment and done an amazing job! They accepted for me to take things slow by doing a hygiene appointment and honestly I was so nervous but half way through the session I have relaxed a lot more It honestly feels weird being able to feel the gaps in my teeth

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Tooth Club Stevensge for a broken tooth, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Dr. Sina was incredibly patient and took the time to clearly explain all my treatment options. The entire procedure was completely pain free, and once it was done I honestly couldn’t even tell which tooth had been broken (since it was one of my back teeth) it looked and felt perfect. The staff were also very polite and professional, making the whole experience smooth and stress free. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Excellent work by Dr Dina. I had numerous procedures carried out, including composite bonding on my top row of front teeth. I was given a full plan of work to be carried out, detailed description of each procedure and looked after every step of the way. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The results are brilliant, exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recommend Dr Dina and Tooth Club.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting company. They tell you everything you want to hear in the consultation and then the minute you sign up every dentist starts telling you different things, the girls gossip infront of the patients. And the amount of times I got asked to change times because the dentist was late or something. Anyways I decided I couldn’t stand turning up to appointments that I booked of work and the appointment would be about 2 minutes long and a waste of time. I couldn’t afford to be taking time off work for no reason. And the fact they constantly call or message you. I decided to cancel my treatment as I didn’t like anything about this company. This was a month ago I cancelled which suprise suprise no response, so I messaged again and no response (they always respond to other messages) so I then called up and the lady said they need it in writing so I wrote a email, STILL NOTHING so I phoned up again and she told me they never got it in writing so I emailed again. And still nothing, they are still trying to charge me £116 for treatment I’m not getting and because I am refusing to pay it, it’s effecting my credit score. I’ve never felt so stressed by a company before. Please don’t go as they are all rude and unprofessional and scammers Just an update! They called me asking me to take down my review and then I just got a phone call and they are trying to charge me for two cleans when I got one? save your time and money and go somewhere eles, they also haven’t contacted me for a solution they’ve ignored me, they’ve also destroyed my credit score so Thankyou tooth club.

Fantastic experience: Ilias & Alice were the lovely people that dealt with me. I went in for an emergency tooth extraction and didnt feel anything, the nicest and most caring dentist ive ever been to. Would 100% reccommend to anyone. I even got signed up as a member to help with payments over time rather than all at once, excellent service.

Negative experience: Not best pleased with service today. Waited >10 mins past appointment time for no apparent reason (with the nurses giggling and gisting in the back rooms), don't mind waiting if previous appointment was overunning and there are apologies made for the wait. Went for a free invisalign consultation which turns out to be a chat with the treatment coordinator Alice who was pleasant but not what I came in for. I was expecting to be seen by an orthodontist to advise best treatment course not a rattle of price options which is readily available on the net. Also the consultation is not free as I need to pay £39 for this - misleading advertisement from Toothclub. Will keep posted on the actual treatment itself.

Fantastic experience: I have been suffering from gum abcess and was afraid of dental procedures. When I finally had the courage, toothclub was the answer. Dr. Dina was so professional. She has given me my smile confidence back. Color matching was difficult but you cant easily tell which one had treatment and which ones are original teeth. Flexible payment is a star.

My dentist Dr Amer at the Stevenage branch is a magician, he is so talented and has managed to give me the smile I’ve always dreamed of, It’s given me a whole new lease of life and I can’t thank him enough xx

Negative experience: Went to ToothClub, stevenage early August to start the process for my new smile. Had consultation was a lovely young lady called Alice and was very excited for my 1st dentist appointment however once at the appointment the dentist just sat there looking at my teeth tutting , shaking his head and huffing and puffing saying I needed a different type of dental work to what I’d taken a dental loan out for and it would cost an extra £1,000 if I wanted to go ahead. I left this appointment feeling so upset, ugly and deflated. I’m all for different treatments and the cost was no issue but I don’t need a grown man looking at my teeth making stupid noises - it was so unprofessional and made me feel like sloth from the goonies - worst part is my teeth aren’t even that bad! Upon leaving I cancelled all treatments, got a refund for the deposit I’d paid (which was a pain within its self to get them to refund it) and was told they would cancel my loan. Fast forward 4 weeks my loan still hasn’t been cancelled and a payment is now due to go out in a few days. I contacted the loan company and they confirmed the practice never cancelled the loan their end - I have proof of all conversations between myself, the practice and loan company. Surly if someone isn’t going ahead with treatment the first thing the practice would do is cancel the loan , I’ll be furious if the money goes out of my account. Once again today I’ve contacted Alice to get this loan cancelled as she seems like the only person working there with a brain. TOOTH CLUB I’ve had to write this review hoping you will finally take me seriously and cancel money going out my account which you are not legally entitled too. I will take this further if need be ! VERY DODGY PRACTICE Screen shots included are confirming they will cancel loan on 13th August and today from loan company saying loan is still active

Negative experience: I have been a member of the Old Town Dentist for many years, whilst it was under the management of Dr Marta Zdrodowska. The care and attention I received personally from Marta and the general staff at the dental practice, was caring and of the highest standard. Since the TOOTH CLUB have taken over, it seems to me that their main focus is increasing cost for dental care. Regardless of whether it's a treatment or appointment, the direction of the company is to fleece as much money out of their customers as possible, without the guarantee of a good job done. Twice I have had a plate fitted and re-fitted, it still doesn't fit and is of no use to me whatsoever. Recently, I was told that unless I paid £70 cancellation fee, I would not be able to reschedule an appointment - absolutely disgusting. Mr Anthony Vincent

Positive experience: Am I too old for this Dental practice?. The reception experience was very bad, my hygienist experience very good. My hygienist was very cheerful and very gentle. As for receptionstaff and background music too loud, staff breach patient confidentiality whilst holding a phone conversation with a patient in another room on loud speaker, and having to listen to staff grievences. When paying receptionist did not acknowledge me and held the card machine at me. Perhaps the older I get my expectations are too high, from the excellent service I recieved from NHS practices in the past.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a consultation with Alice to find out more about Invisalign. After some bad experiences in the past at a different practice, she was a breath of fresh air! She was so informative, gave me lots of information on the different options and what I should expect. She made the whole experience really easy, thank you Alice!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, always late for appointments and poor quality dental work. I cancelled my account a year ago but still receive calls and emails about appointments, despite telling them time and again that I have cancelled my account.
