Positive experience: Although the dental treatment at this practice has improved greatly in the last 4 or 5 years practical matters haven't. I am accustomed to having my appointments altered but when I found that my internet reminder, which had gone straight to Spam, showed an earlier time, I rang to check. I was told the earlier time was correct &, with no apology, it had been changed - no apology for not phoning to make sure I knew.

Negative experience: We have been patients of this practice for about 12 years but have recently moved away. My main issue is that they forced us to go private last year and told us "we are only accepting private patients from now on", no loyalty to us, just pay or wait maybe 6 months while we try and recruit an NHS dentist. We are lucky to be able to afford this but many cannot and it is both morally wrong and indicative of how this country has gone. The dentistry has always been good although we have seen at least 4 different dentists in that time, which is not so good. The reception seems understaffed and we often had to wait to book in or to pay.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment with my new NHS dentist this week, a lovely young man. I've had 3 NHS dentists in the 6 years I've been with the practice, and they've all been lovely and put the most nervous patient at ease. My only gripe is, I had to wait over a year for a new dentist after my last one left the NHS, but this is no reflection of the great service Louth Dental provides.

Fantastic experience: I have required a few recent visits. I am extremely anxious going to a dentist (childhood trauma of dental experiences). On all occasions the care and respect I have been afforded has been truly exceptional. The dental nurses and G Takas took time to listen, support and complete my treatment. The reception staff are also very professional.

I initially joined due to the range of opening hours, but found them to be superior in a number of ways. The receptionist are friendly and welcoming. My dentist is caring, knowledgeable and skilled. The consistently great service provided by the team at Louth Dental Care has removed any anxiety that I used to have, making dentist visits (and any associated work) something i no longer dread. Overall, i would highly recommend them to anyone.

She finds the perfect balance between undoubted professionalism and approachability. This combination provides not only reassurance but a somewhat more enjoyable experience. I must not forget to mention her assistant too as she displays great professionalism and is always very polite.

Fantastic experience: I started going to this dentist as an emergency with toothache. First impressions were good so I decided to join a plan. My teeth are not great so I knew I would need some treatment I went for a check up first and was very impressed with all of the staff I met very friendly and helpfull. Having my two front teeth reconstructed with fillings I was a bit apprehensive but no need the dentist I saw was brilliant she put me at ease and explained everything she was doing as she went along as also the nurse kept asking me if I was OK. After my treatment I was thrilled with how my teeth looked and felt it couldn't have been any better. I am so pleased I picked this dentist it has been great for me and I would like to thank them all for looking after me. I'm 61 years old and have been to many dentist and this is one of the best . Fantastic experience: As a person who has been terrified of dentist visits since childhood, due to the awful treatment at the hands of the school dentist! I cannot praise Louth Dental Care enough as the staff are so patient and Yota my dentist is amazing with me and puts me at ease on every visit. I now make sure I attend every 6 months and I do not panic now at the thought of the trip to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: The moment you walk in the door you are greeted in a friendly manner and it only gets better. Without doubt THE best dentist I have had in my life! P Katsakouli and her assistant are a fantastic team. Very caring and attention to detail second to none. I have had quite a bit of work done over the last year or so including a filling and partial top and bottom dentures. I may have been a bit of a menace. If you want it done right look no further! If you are in anyway nervous of dentistry look no further! I cannot stress enough how caring and carefull this joung lady is. I only wish they had dentist's like this when I was younger and I may have had better teeth. Two years on and this dental practice has grown into a very professional sleek establishment but not at the cost of the patient. Fantastic experience: I first went to Louth Dental Care after I experienced a dental emergency while on holiday. Louise was fantastic at efficiently getting me an appointment sorted for my return and handled my stress about the situation brilliantly, she is always a pleasure to deal with. Since then I’ve had a number of treatments with Dr Katsakouli and as someone who gets extremely anxious about the dentist (based on past poor experiences elsewhere in the town), I can honestly say I’ve never been more put at ease.

I recently suffered a broken front tooth - the treatment from my dentist, Miss Katsakouli, and her dental surgery assistant was second-to-none, and I am absolutely delighted with the result. My plight was dealt with in a timely manner - all the staff at Louth Dental Care are friendly and professional - I particularly appreciate the call made 24 hours prior to the appointment (and understand the need to alter the original timings by 5 minutes or so in order to deal with emergency situations like I just experienced!) The reception staff are also super ; friendly, professional and efficient. The latest renovations/alterations of the ground floor - the reception area and the creation of the new waiting rooms, along with new surgeries - fabulous! Needless to say, I highly recommend Louth Dental Care!

Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t praise Louth Dental Care enough for the outstanding service and care we received this week. My daughter developed a very swollen face over the weekend due to a cracked tooth and abcess. Worried, I called every local practice to no avial, then i thought id try further afield. Im so glad i did. I called Louth Dental Care on Sunday and spoke to Evie on reception, who was incredibly kind and understanding. Although the emergency dentist wouldn’t be in until Monday morning, Evie calmly explained exactly what to do and reassured me that they would try there best to make sure my daughter would be seen the next day. Evie even went the extra mile by signing up all three of my children as new patients there and then, which was such a relief as a parent. When we arrived at the practice on Monday morning, we were welcomed with a genuine warm hello by two receptionists. The whole check in process was smooth and stress-free, which really helped as my daughter was nervous and in discomfort. We was seen by a femail emergency dentist and dental nurse who were nothing short of fantastic. They immediately made my daughter feel comfortable and safe, taking the time to talk her through everything and making sure she understood what was happening and giving her a choice of treatment. They quickly prescribed antibiotics to bring down the infection and also arranged a referral for further treatment so she can get the ongoing care she needs. Their professionalism and empathy shone through every step of the way. What really struck me was the difference compared to our previous dentist, who sadly had frightened my daughter and made us feel unheard, even before reading her notes. The compassion and attention we experienced at Louth Dental Care was truly a breath of fresh air. Even though it’s about a 40 minute drive from where we live, after today’s visit I can honestly say you can’t put a price on this level of care and service. We left feeling completely reassured and so grateful to have finally found a dental team who genuinely put their patients first. I would wholeheartedly recommend Louth Dental Care to anyone looking for a practice that combines professional excellence with true kindness. I like to also mention how wonderfully clean and well designed the practice is. Plenty of seating without feeling over crowded. Truly deserving of ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: Dentist was great but experience was a bit poor. I was an emergency nhs appointment, my usual dentist couldn’t get me in. Dentist was thorough and the outcome was expected. I was given a prescription and went to Boots to collect- they then told me i’d have to pay the prescription (despite me having a prepayment certificate) charge as it was a private prescription. I went back to the dentists and I was told they don’t provide NHS prescriptions, which seems strange when they provide an NHS emergency service? What’s the point in me paying for a monthly prescription certificate and then not being able to use it? I don’t mind paying if I need to - but it would’ve been nice to have some transparency on booking.
