Negative experience: I went in after having pain in my tooth and being referred through nhs ,I ended up getting seen 45 minutes after my appointment time and when I went in I told the dentist I had a hole in my tooth and it was sensitive so he put a temporary filling in and said to come back the week after for a proper filling and an x-ray. I went fir the follow up and did the x-ray ,the same dentist gave me 2 local anaesthesia injections and didn't wait for them to take affect before drilling into the temporary filling to put the permanent one in but instead of removing all the temp filling he just drilled a whole in to save time I was physically calling out in pain saying ow and wait, I asked why it hurt even more after he said he more than likely caught the nerve and that it should stop hurting within a few days ,he said if it doesn't then i had to come back and have it removed ,that was nearly 3 weeks ago and I am in constant pain ,talking pain killers everyday for my tooth and jaw pain but I am absolutely terrified to go back and be seen by the same dentist incase he does even more damage.

Fantastic experience: had appointment with the principle dentist dr sadik smiley young chap, greets you with a smile and did everything at the check up so did nog have to come back. will be asking for dr sadik and his assistant for my wife. great pair in that room

Fantastic experience: Such a fantastic place, my wife Lynn has had some trouble with a filling and Dr Laura has been amazing in sorting the problem out and Dr Laura and her nurse are so friendly and professional that they make you feel at ease and also the reception staff have been really good in sorting appointments out.

Negative experience: Seen 2 dentists within the practice absolutely shocking voiced my concerns to practice manger given a number to call to make a complaint back in march still waiting for any response I’ve since moved to another dentist and had to pay again for a tooth that was destroyed and now my crown as broken after being excessively ground down leaving a hole in the crown in my entire life had to complain about any work so I will now have to pay once again for very poor workmanship

Negative experience: Numerous errors between them and X ray department. Both refusing to speak to each other directly. Still waiting on a X ray which can't be actioned as information missing off the referral despite me calling them Numerous times and going in directly. Secondly tried calling today says I am first in que but was still listening to music 15 mins later ,it then transferred my call to head office who wasn't going to do anything useful till I said what a joke this was given am disabled. SO YEAH NOT GREAT

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend the Dentist Laura enough, she was amazing. I had trouble with my wisdom tooth and the 1 Infront of it and multiple dentists said they couldn't get them out. She got them both out quickly and efficiently with no complications, all while making you feel at ease.

You can tell she really cares about her patients and knows exactly what she’s doing. Her nurse, Elese, was also fantastic, kind, attentive, and always making sure everything was smooth and comfortable. The whole experience felt really professional and welcoming. Negative experience: If I could give this place no stars I would, clearly don’t throughly clean their instruments as my mother went on Tuesday and a day later fell ill with a nasty cough and symptoms which has not only wiped her out but the other three people in the household, feel like we’ve all been poisoned. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Registering as an NHS patient a few years ago was quick and easy. Since then the service has been very good and I am happy to recommend. I have only ever been to the dentist for check ups before, but recently I had pain in my wisdom teeth and the dentist was able to see me quickly and sort it out, so I was very happy.

Negative experience: Shocking composite bonding lasts literally 20 mins been back 3 times to be fixed and still fallen out after the first day! Also had an appointment for a tooth removed 5 mins before they reschedule for a week later when I said I was in bad pain! The week later comes I am 3 minutes late they said they can’t get me in they will have to reschedule another week! Plenty other dentists out there go somewhere else!!

Negative experience: Shambles of a Practice. Some of the staff are good, others don't seem to have a clue - see two different dentists and get two contradictory opinions and treatment plans. If you see someone they're very late - often because the staff saunter in at 09:30 or later when you've got a 09:20 appointment with them... Reception can't even be bothered to keep you informed of how late they are running. And keep a copy of your treatment plans, costs and receipts - you get told it will be one price and then pay something completely different.

Chloe V was very helpful and accomodating when booking my appointment and was super knowledgeable when answering my questions. I would 100% recommend this practice to anyone.

Negative experience: I have had to cancel two appointments due to illness no they have kicked me out of there practice, the phone reception is terrible,I’ve seen them just chatting when people are trying to get in touch with them ignoring the calls .If your a NHS patient who has paid into the system for 50 years,forget it you get the treatment they want to give unless you line there pockets .

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist, but huge thanks to the dentist, Sara Hussain and her assistant for a very gentle and reassuring dental appointment today.

Negative experience: Spend over an hour in the waiting. Three times this happened. Got all the way through for the phone to ring for a minute and then the call was ended. Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Absolutely awful service! After not being able to get through as phone lines always busy and then cut off they have taken me off the books with ZERO CONTACT from them. Receptionists EXTREMELY RUDE stating it was all my fault and lying to say they had sent emails out. I have received nothing email phone call or text and they were unable to prove they had sent anything when questioned. AWFUL AWFUL PLACE. Do not attend here Private or NHS. I am now stuck without a dentist, whilst they have taken on extra patients including a family member at the same address!

Positive experience: Turned up ten minutes early to a 9am appointment. Doors opened at 09:05, was seen at 9:20 after listening to 15 mins of receptionists cancelling appointment after appointment. I've always wondered why dentists are always running late. Its because they dont open on time. Site was clean and tidy, and the dentist was very professional. However dont expect to have a parking space.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgraceful practice. I phoned asking for an appointment with them (my previous 2 appointments had been cancelled by them at this point and I had to chase them for a new appointment) and to sign up my at the time 6 month old last February. Was told to wait for an appointment to be sent out as they had not got an appointment at the moment. All was apparently fine they were just busy. Called to follow up as not heard anything from them and they have actually taken me off their books! How can one receptionist be all smiles and saying everything is ok and then the next one is saying they have wrote us off. Absolutely disgusting service and I spent money with them previously having teeth whitened etc. It sounds like what as actually happened is that all was okay 2 dentists have now left and they are trying to get rid of patients as they can't manage the ones they have! The receptionist said I cannot put in a complaint to a manager either so this will just carry on with other patients. Luckily they aren't taking on new patients.

Negative experience: Depends which dentist you get I went to the dentist 3 weeks ago as an emergency, un able to open my mouth and saw Laura who was brill! I was in so much pain from my wisdom teeth growing sideways causing infection this had caused swelling! I was given antibiotics and told to go back for an X-ray which I did last week and was told to book in for the ones that have fully grown extracting. I went for them taking out today to be told by a completely different dentist that he wasn’t removing them because they are no longer swollen and I haven’t had enough issues yet. When I asked the second dentist why was I told to book in for them to be removed by the other dentist, the second dentist said “I don’t know” definitely don’t act like a team in this place or don’t know what is going on with patients not happy at all with the fact I’m still in discomfort.

Positive experience: I am EXTREMELY worried & scared about my sensative teeth and receeding gums so i knew i had to go and see a dentist But at 52 my fear of dentist goes against all logic and common sense. I go to pieces and act like an over dramatic child. I built a lot of trust with ms Dr Husain and then her sister who came to the practice. I nearly passed out in the waiting room am that terrified but for no reason at all. The treatment I had (just a deep clean) was thorough and the dentist and nurse kept reassuring me and keeping me calm. I'd highly recommend their care for anyone who has a phobia of dentists. The anxiety is definitely worth overcoming with the help of this fab team

Positive experience: When you actually get seen the service is fine but in the last year they have cancelled my appointment on the day of twice and my partner has had his cancelled 4 times. I know things happen but it’s just too often.

Negative experience: Had 1 tooth pulled, the one next to it was damaged in the process so had to have that one pulled as well, had 2 fillings after, one is still causing pain and the other has a slight hole develop, it's been 8 weeks, as I was referred through 111 they refuse to see me again and told me to go back to 111 as they say 'their work is complete' and that too much time has passed for them to do anything about it, so I asked what was the time limit to come back after work has been done and I got no answer .

Negative experience: I wouldn't give the dentist I went to here 1*. I required a denture and after going to many appointments, for castings the denture came back oversized. Now when I say oversized, I mean to the point it didn't fit my palate, I couldn't close my mouth evan 50%! The dentist decided she would do a DIY job there and then infront of me. She got a drill out and was shaving parts off it. After covering herself in white dust she tried to fit it again, obviously without joy. It niw had very Sharp edges cutting into my gums. She said it would be fine and try it for a couple of weeks. I refused so they got a recast. Again it came back just as it left, sharp, missing pieces and didn't fit. She got the drill out again and I refused for her to evan try and fix it, I wanted a refund. They agreed a refund but said the accounts at head office would have to refund me. 3 weeks later no refund. I called the dentist, they gave me the head office number whom I rang many times. Still no refund after being fobbed off by Hoyland Dental practice and the head office I am now having to get my bank to retrieve it legally. Dr Sara Hussain is an absolute joke of a dentist and I am now contacting the Dental commissioner's department to make a formal complaint. Please do not waste your time and go to a dentist that is experienced and can do the job they are employed to do! **Update, still no refund. Their accounts department in Nottingham which is called the Health Commission! They are fobbing me off every time I ring and not refunding me. Its been over a month now without a refund. I am now taking this legal and contacting the Dentist ombudsman.

Negative experience: Awful experience when after receiving injection for filling the dentist proceeded to drill my tooth but the injection had not kicked in. One of the worst experiences I have ever had.

Negative experience: Avoid this place. They charge you unfairly and communication is terrible. Took my little ones for check ups and my little girl asked for a sticker, was told they had none. When I checked at the reception desk they had loads. Receptionists are awful, haven’t a clue what they’re doing and no help at all. The vibes they give off is cold and depressing. Put off by the place that much I’ve gone private else where. Not usually one to bad review places but feel like I need to warn others.
