Fantastic experience: Maz is a splendid dentist, and a great man ! He’s been superb with all of my family.

Fantastic experience: I am petrified of the dentist and having to move to a new dentist due my previous dentist retiring was my worst nightmare. However, I have to say Dr Chaudary has made that transition easier than I expected. She has taken her time with me knowing how anxious I am and been thorough with my check ups. I would also like to say thank you to Hannah for being a lovely receptionist who is friendly and very polite.

Negative experience: My wife visited the dentist for a toothache they gave her antibiotics unfortunately the scribbled on top of the prescription I want to my local pharmacist the refuse to take the prescription because it had been scribbled on I called the dentist and I explained to them the situation the lady says to me you have to come within the next 10 minutes or it will be next Monday so I drive like a madman to get to the dental practice before they close when I get there the lady at the reception I spoke to before I went down says to me your wife should come down to collect the prescription so I explain to her you did not mention that to me when I called eventually blamed my wife saying it is your responsibility to make sure that the prescription is ok before you leave the premises I am not a doctor nor am I at dentist why would it be my responsibility is lady at the reception terribly rude her name is Amira

Negative experience: SCROLL DOWN ⬇️( clearly can’t be the only one who has had the same experience with them) This dentist is a disgrace!! And need to seriously sort there reputation out They treat nhs patients disgusting especially the receptionists they have no manners and very little respect I had been wrongfully treated by both receptionists and the practitioner manager called ASTHESIA!! I had an appointment booked and was 2 minutes late due to not being able to find the building as they have a different building displayed on there Google photos…. I was then banned from dentist within no good reason I had called up numerous times and was sent straight to voicemail once being able to get in contact with the receptionist they had told me I was banned from the dentist as there was false information put down saying I didn’t attend my appointment at all I was treated unfairly and this could not be resolved when asked it they could review this they had not negotiated and was rude towards me being passive aggressive on the phone I had told them I would be writing a review on Google as I think people should be aware off this and they had laughed at me and continued to be disrespectful then put the phone down be weary off this place if your under the nhs as they really don’t give a shit unless there benefiting from your money

Fantastic experience: Such a fantastic dental surgery. All of the staff are very highly trained and friendly whether it's the admin or the nurses but my dentist Maz is the star of the show.. I hadn't been to the surgery in a while so needed quite a bit of work. He is just so good at his job, he puts you at ease and then goes about his work so quickly and efficiently you don't realise you've just had 2 fillings and an extraction and what you were so nervous about earlier is just a distant memory.

Fantastic experience: Great Barr Dentist is brilliant, staff are amazing especially Maz, Hamza and Talia the new hygiene. They all make me feel at ease and comfortable. I was always nervous going to the dentist but ever since I have been coming here I enjoy seeing the staff. People at the reception are always welcoming and approachable. If I have a question I never hesitate and Maz always takes his time to explain if I have any concerns.

Fantastic experience: Im an extremely nervous dental patient and recently needed 2 fillings which were done by Maz who instantly calmed my nerves and was very gentle and explaining everything he was doing! I would 100% recommend Maz and the staff at this surgery!

Positive experience: I had been here a few months ago i feel like I was neglected as patient I struggle with x-ray could not go ahead with it asked for another option was told there isn't any, so wasn't aware of any cavities in my mouth. There is a lack of care when it comes to a check up.... had been today due to painful gums saw the hygienist marayam she was so lovely and so caring ❤ towards my teeth and acutely managed to perform xray with her support. Overall I would give this a 3* Would give marayam a 5* due to her professionalism would recommend any problems with teeth book with her she is great.

My dentist Maz for instance will show me an xray he has taken and explain what it shows. He clearly takes pride in his work and that is a big bonus for his patients.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Great Barr dental practice for 14 years and I have to say I love going to the dentist. My dentist is Dr Maz and he is magnificently brilliant. Before he checks my teeth he sits in the chair opposite me and always asks how I am, how's my health and how's work. The personal touch makes all the difference. Dr Maz always commends me on the health of my teeth and gums, this shows me that I'm doing something right. In my view the receptionists, dental nurses and dentists are always polite and courteous. I always receive the best care possible. Of all the dentists I've been to over the years, this is by far the best dentist.

Fantastic experience: Was at the dentist today, I was met by a lovely receptionist who had a smile to light up any room . Great experience with the dentist, he always makes you feel comfortable & at ease .

Negative experience: Had a surprising phone call today, I remember when I initially called after Covid and there was a lovely polite gentleman assuming he was the receptionist that answered the phone with excellent people skills. But this receptionist I spoke to this afternoon was so rude, condescending and made me feel stupid for asking basic questions about the care they offer. Really off putting for customers seeking genuine advice and care- put me right off. It’s a shame since this affects the reputation of the entire practice and I’m sure the dentist who actually does all the hard work behind the scene does not possess mannerisms like that of the young lady I was received by this afternoon.

Fantastic experience: Long overdue review. I love coming here, been here from a child and my children come here too, the eldest 17. Dr Chaudary is amazing. Very knowledgeable in her field. Shes great with children, in how she explains in a child friendly way what she's doing, to keep them in the chair. Her staff are very friendly too.

Fantastic experience: I would have previously given one star after far too many appointments that were very, very late however my last two appointments things seem to have greatly improved. In addition to this I was changed from my previous dentist to Maz, I was initially nervous at the prospect of the change but Maz is amazing. I am the most relaxed visiting the dentist I think I’ve ever been - his manner is calming and friendly yet incredibly professional and thorough. He is an absolute credit to the practice.

Negative experience: Have been a patient for 20+ years, I was kicked off the list because I hadn’t gone for 3 years. 2 years consisted of covid and I didn’t have an emergency, and the last year I was busy with a new born. They wouldn’t take me back on as a patient.

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 year old daughter to the dentist for the first time earlier this week and I honestly cannot recommend this dentist enough! They were fantastic with my daughter and she went from crying on arrival to coming out with a smile saying she loved the dentist. I felt they had so much time for her and were so welcoming and friendly. I can’t thank you enough for making her first experience such a good one.

Fantastic experience: The whole team from my dentist (Dr N Bansal) through to the staff on reception have been super supportive. Thank you! The dentist broke down my treatment options and made sure I was thoroughly informed before making any decisions.

Positive experience: Really impressed with the service you get at reception even though I had to wait a month for a filling but totally understandable under the circumstances. However, I was surprised that the dentist didnt clean my teeth properly after the filling and left my other teeth stained. I have a maternity exemption so maybe I shouldn't of expected a great service but its a shame the dentist doesn't take pride in their work

Negative experience: New patient with them, the NHS website says band 1 includes scale and polish but refused as they said it’s cosmetic and wanted me to pay £67 for a hygienist. I needed a root canal but she said she can’t do it as it’s near the back so offered to extract the tooth. I said I wanted root canal and she said I would have to go elsewhere and pay private. (Band 2 includes root canal treatment) It seems they only want you to pay private for any work done. Seems a rip off place. Very rude and patronising dentist.
