Fantastic experience: After having an emergency extraction done and continuing to have regular treatments done here I can highly recommend this dental practice. The staff are kind and friendly and the work they do is fantastic (I have just had a tooth filling and you cannot see the difference at all) overall a five outta five experience.

Fantastic experience: Booked an emergency appointment due to a couple of days of unbearable pain. Appointment was scheduled quickly, was made to feel at ease throughout and the issue was identified promptly with wisdom tooth. Extraction needed and completed with minimal pain. Recommendation to return for other wisdom tooth to be extracted as preventative measure due to the positioning and likely hood of similar developing infections - this was completed today. Both experiences handled with care and as far as dentist trips go…a very pleasant experience. Thank you to all.

Fantastic experience: I went in yesterday for my wisdom tooth extraction, at first I was very nervous since I've always thought they aren't easiest procedure to do, but then I met the staff and Dr Michaeli, very professional and made me feel at ease. He numbed the gums surrounding the tooth and did the extraction probably less than 3 minutes. Must say I was impressed, felt no pain throughout. 100% would recommend booking with this practice.

Negative experience: Extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received regarding a gift voucher for teeth whitening that I received and attempted to redeem at the practice. I contacted the reception to book an appointment for teeth whitening using the gift voucher. I confirmed with the receptionist that I possessed a valid gift voucher and wished to book the treatment. When asked if I was a new patient, I stated that I had been to the surgery previously. My voucher was then redeemed, and I was able to book my appointment. Following on from that conversation the receptionist contacted me to complete new patient form. I subsequently booked a day off work on to attend the scheduled whitening appointment. I was very much looking forward to this treatment, as it was for a very important occasion. A week before my appointment, I received a call from reception informing me that I am ineligible for the teeth whitening service as it is only valid for new patients, despite the fact that my voucher was redeemed and I was able to book my appointment. I explained that I was not aware of this condition and that your receptionist had already redeemed the voucher and completed a new patient form with me, which, I believed, would have made the appointment valid. I was then told the appointment would have to be cancelled or have my gift voucher passed on to someone else. Which I found was unbelievable. Despite explaining the inconvenience caused by booking a day of leave, I was repeatedly told that the decision was final. I find this lack of flexibility and customer service deeply unprofessional. I am incredibly disappointed that the practice made an error in initially redeeming the voucher and booking the appointment, yet refuses to honor the arrangement, even after acknowledging the resulting inconvenience I have… O stars It is clear to me that the practice priorities financial gain over customer satisfaction. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I believe my treatment has been unacceptable. Edit :) Regardless of whether this occurred yesterday or a year ago, the way I was treated remains unacceptable. I believe it is important to address such issues to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I would like to express my concern that this decision may suggest that the company prioritises profit over Customers satisfaction.

Negative experience: I booked in an emergency appointment as I lost a filling in my tooth. I am usually NHS but no longer live near my usual practice so had no choice but to go private. This was £85 which I had to pay for over the phone, and received a confirmation text on my phone. The next day I had a call from the practice asking if I had an appointment booked on the date already agreed... why? When I turned up, I was told to sign lots of agreements with no clear explanation or guidance. When being seen by the dentist I was asked to remove all my belongings and put them in a plastic box. This wasn't even stored away safely, it was left in the corridor for all to see and anyone could have taken something. I had an Xray which was £25, normal pricing. But then I was quoted 2 options... either a filling (which may or may not last) for £285 or a Cap which was £800!!! What sort of insane person would pay these prices?? I explained my financial circumstances as I definitely didn't have that sort of money laying around so opted for finance. As I was sorting this out I realised that I didn't have enough money to pay the initial payment due to it being so close to pay day. I explained this and the receptionist messaged the dentist, who I then heard say behind a door " she can't even afford it on finance, so how can she pay it". I was left with no choice but to walk away without a filling and made to feel worthless because I can't conform to their ridiculous prices!

Fantastic experience: I am still undergoing some treatment, but so far very good. I am keen to show photos soon, once the first part of the treatment is completed. Great on technology, the practice don't waste time as everything is done using modern techniques which make it a more efficient, less painful experience.

Fantastic experience: I have undergone a lot of dental issues in the past which were adding to more problems. When COVID came I had just had a temporary filling put in via the NHS and they were not able to complete the treatment which the only option available at the time was for the tooth to be removed. I contacted Wallisdown Dental Practice and they completed the treatment for me and have continued to make my teeth better again and have removed so many of the painful issues I had been going through. My wife also has benefited from enlisting with Wallisdown Dental Practice. We will always stay with them as we are now confident in the treatment we receive and the advice they give us.

Negative experience: They did an awful job. They gave me three crowns, and one of them wasn't put on correctly. I told the dentist it wasn't fitting well, but he insisted it was fine. A few weeks later, I started experiencing pain where the crown was placed. I went back to the dentist to show him, but he didn't do anything. He just told me to brush my teeth better and recommended a product to clean my teeth. Eventually, the crown broke. I didn't go back because the dentist had put it on badly and didn't care when I told him it hurt. The crown broke in half, and one part fell off. Fortunately, my new dentist fixed it pretty well! Now, a few years later, another one of my crowns broke and randomly came off. I feel like we paid a lot to fix my teeth, but they didn’t care and just wanted more money. I definitely won't be going back there again. And no! I don’t confuse other dentists ! This was the place Ori was my dentist :(

Fantastic experience: After forever searching for an NHS dentist I was left no choice but to go private as I'd had toothache for months so I did a Google search and walisdown came up . It looked like a small family run type of surgery so I gave them a call and after talking to the really friendly receptionist I had an appointment the very next day .upon arrival I was greeted by the same friendly staff and immediately felt comfortable a few forms later and I'm in to see the dentist again all really polite and friendly people after an x Ray it was decided extraction was needed and it was all done without any pain or discomfort and quickly .I was expecting them to say oh well you'll have to make another appointment to come back and have the tooth removed but to my surprise it was all done there and then ! Now is a couple of days on and I'm happy to say all healing well . A big thank you to all staff I have already made my next appointment for further examinations Kind Regards Mike Hall

Fantastic experience: I was always fairly worried about going to the dentists, but when I decided to get braces as an adult, I received great service from Dr Michaeli and all his lovely team. Because they were all so kind, patient and professional, I decided to stay on as a patient there, after my process of having braces had ended. Both Dr Michaeli and hygienist Vicky Gurd have looked after me and my teeth for a number of years now and I will continue to recommend them, brilliant care all round!

Positive experience: I’m an extremely anxious dental patient due to previous bad experiences so I hadn’t been to the dentist for 14 years but felt it was finally time. Dentist Ori, hygienist Vicky and the team were incredibly friendly and helped to put me at ease with everything that was going on, going to happen and moving forward. I needed quite a bit of work so the cost was rather high, I was expecting to spend a lot but wasn’t expecting that much. Nevertheless I proceeded with all the treatment, starting with the hygienist, Vicky and the work which was carried out incredibly well by Ori with only some residual, but expected discomfort. The most expensive part of my treatment, a porcelain onlay (£750+), which was to replace a general filling I had, hasn’t been great, it was a bit sensitive to start but it was put down to being normal for such a new piece of work, and confirmed as likely the case by Ori, unfortunately the sensitivity is still there (months later) and is worse than before the replacement. The reasons for 3* rather than 5* are because of the above (but that was a risk to take and anything undertaken can cause worsening of symptoms) but mainly it’s surrounding the ‘admin’ aspects… appointment texts which came through with incorrect times, when calling to query this being asked if I can attend those times anyway (not appropriate) changing the time of my appointment the day before,, the itemised bill not being split down in a an easily understandable way when there is a lot of treatment to be had but parts paid and not paid, and the main one - the push to sell DenPlan - it’s a great scheme for people but after just being told your treatment will cost over £3,000 and paying over half of it upfront it’s the LAST thing I’m interested in having pushed, and again a week after the treatment. If those aspects were adjusted then 5*! HOWEVER… I WILL look to continue to use Ori and the Team for my routine care and treatment moving forward as they were very good! And I WOULD recommend them, I have given a full and fair review covering all aspects of MY experience.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant dentist surgery. I felt very welcome as soon as I walked in the door, the staff were so polite and accommodating. The surgery had a lovely seating/waiting area. The dentist was amazing and explained the treatment plan and procedures thoroughly to me. Very knowledgable, polite and kind. Also was very gentle throughout the procedure and continued to make sure that I was ok throughout. I felt well looked after whilst I was there. I definitely recommend!
