Fantastic experience: I recently joined The Edinburgh Dental Studio and have had two appointments so far with Stefania, who has been absolutely wonderful. I was quite anxious about visiting a dentist again after some time without any check-ups or treatment, but Stefania immediately put me at ease. My initial check-up was incredibly thorough, and I was talked through everything step by step, with helpful advice on how to manage any issues going forward. A week later, I returned for a repair to an old filling. I was nervous, but Stefania was great at explaining the procedure and making sure I was comfortable throughout. While I can’t say I enjoyed the treatment (who ever does!), it was as smooth and reassuring an experience as I could have hoped for. Highly recommend – especially if you’re a bit anxious about dental visits. You're in good hands here!

Fantastic experience: Had an Invisalign plan here and was very satisfied with the entire treatment process and the result! Dr. Graeme and his team were very delicate, responsive, and supportive throughout the process. They ensured that all of my requests were heard and were very accommodating to my situations such as ensuring that I could get an appointment despite the limited time I had in Edinburgh and getting extra aligners until I was satisfied with my results. Fantastic experience: I attended for a tooth extraction, which was carried out by Paul. He talked me through the procedure first, before anaesthetising me. I did not feel the injections at all. The extraction was carried out within a minute and felt entirely comfortable. Paul talked me through post care and I was in and out within 20 minutes. The receptionist and dental nurse were really friendly, which puts you at ease. All in all, an entirely positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my Invisalign treatment with Edinburgh Dental Studio, and I cannot speak highly enough of the outstanding care I received — particularly from Graeme and Rochelle. Midway through my treatment, I had to relocate abroad, which presented more than a few challenges. From coordinating my care remotely to dealing with the added complications of international shipping and unexpected delays with postal and customs services, things could have easily become overwhelming. But thanks to Graeme and Rochelle, everything remained smooth and manageable. Both were incredibly accommodating and understanding throughout. They went above and beyond to ensure I had the support I needed — staying in touch regularly, offering calm guidance when a shipment of retainers went missing, and always showing genuine concern and professionalism, even when the situation was out of their hands. I’m so happy with the final results of my treatment and incredibly grateful for how patient and responsive the team has been. Relocating mid-treatment is not ideal, but with this team behind you, it’s absolutely doable. Thank you both for your care, commitment, and kindness — I truly felt looked after every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: Over the past couple of years I had some fairly extensive, and excellent quality, work done by Paul at Edinburgh Dental Studio. Due to some really negative experiences in the past I had neglected my teeth for a number of years. I was extremely happy with the care and treatments I received here, including multiple fillings, a crown and some whitening. It has restored my confidence in going to a dentist in general.

My regular hygiene visits with Emma have also made a noticeable difference, keeping my teeth in great condition since I joined. Fantastic experience: My niece recommended this practice and I am so glad she did. My first appointment was with the dentist, Paul who thoroughly checked my teeth with the most up to date technology I have seen within a dental practice. He then advised what dental options were open to me to fix my damaged front teeth. Very informative and explained in great detail what he felt would be my best options. My second appointment was with Emma the dental hygienist who again was thorough and gave me a new found enthusiasm for keeping up with the best and up to date hygiene procedures and tools. All the staff are very warm and welcoming and very accommodating. Hayley even offered a second appointment in one day due to me living so far away from the practice which was very thoughtful of her. Emails are always answered straight away. I know I am in safe hands with this dentist and all the staff.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually leave feedback, but you know how tricky it is to find a good dentist whom you can trust - so I hope the below will help someone make their decision. I’ve been with Dental Studio for about 4-5 months now during which I had multiple composite restorations and one porcelain veneer fitted. From the start - the thing that stood out for me was that the staff wasn’t pushy, nobody was trying to sell me stuff that I don’t need (as many practices do in Edi). I felt that they’ve really listened and for me that’s a big win already. Stefania is my dentist and she’s been amazing, I can’t recommend her enough! She made me feel at ease and comfortable during every visit. I mentioned to her that sometimes I feel uneasy about dental anesthesia and during the first treatment, in the middle of the process (which was going super smoothly, as all the others that followed) I was like - hey, but aren’t you going to numb my gums for this first? And Stefania was like - I already did! :D I was geniunely so impressed, for the first time in my life I didn’t feel a thing, i didn't even notice it!! She applies a little paste that very subtly numbs the area first and only then does the anesthesia. What a difference that makes! After a series of treatments that I was very happy with - I’ve decided to replace my old veneer here as well - Stefania, Jade and the rest of the team did a fantastic job, we’ve had the veener tried a few times when it came back from the lab, making required adjustments until I was happy with it. The team was, once again, patient and listening to all the feedback - I could feel that they really care for the end result to be great. The above positive experiences made me bring my son for his first ever dental appointment here as well and Stefania was, once again, incredible - she made him glove baloons, made him smile and turned the whole experience into a fun game while answering all of our questions. Amazing. Thank you Stefania, Jade, Joanne and the whole Dental Studio team!

Fantastic experience: I joined this practice a couple of months ago and have been so impressed by the thoroughness, time and consideration shown by Paul (dentist) and Emma (dental hygienist). I can honestly say I have never felt so well looked after.

Fantastic experience: I have been getting extensive dental work with Matt Dash and the results are first class. He is highly professional, meticulous, careful and considerate. At one point I nearly fell asleep in the chair while undergoing treatment, as I was so relaxed. I have had bad experiences in the past with dentists and Matt has restored my faith as well as my fillings. I cannot recommend him highly enough. When replacing old amalgams with white fillings, he used a rubber dam, so stop me swallowing the debris from drilling old fillings out. He utilises technology and talks through treatments showing before and after photos. We've signed up to a family plan and I trust Matt implicitly. A true professional. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I am a visitor from the US and while in Ireland, the back of one of my crowns broke. I knew we would be in Edinburgh for a week so I contacted Edinburgh Dental Studio and was so fortunate that they were able to see me. The day of the appointment my crown fell completely off. Paul Gallacher did a great job repairing my tooth. He and his assistant were so nice, thorough and professional. The whole process of making the appointment was great and I was lucky there must have been a cancellation. You are so fortunate here in Edinburgh to have good dentists who are available for as many hours as their office is open. I am a very happy and thankful visitor and I loved your city as soon as I laid eyes on it. I definitely hope to return!

I am beyond impressed at how I am treated by both reception staff and dental staff. I find his attention to detail second to none. I have very old fillings, overcrowding and a few issues which makes my treatment more complex. Fantastic experience: I've been going to EDS for about 3 years now and every visit is as good as going to the dentist can be!! From the receptionists through the dental nurses, hygienists and the dentist (Paul in my case) the standard of care is exceptional. Nothing is a problem, everyone is so very friendly and welcoming. Procedures are explained fully. Paul patiently answers every question I have and I have a lot! The dental nurses go out of their way to make a person feel at ease and although I don't suffer with anxiety going to visit the dentist, I know a lot of people who do and I imagine a friendly, smiling face can only be a good thing. I was made to feel at ease the whole time, communication was really clear and transparent and the result is wonderful.
