Negative experience: Been here since 6 years old, been attending every single appointment without fail. Last 2 appointment I’ve missed because of an emergency at the hospital because of my mums health. They’ve removed me from the register and banned me with no remorse. This is a disgrace and they really need to be checked for this because I’ve attended every appointment beforehand and payed for every single one. Previously I gave this dentist a 5 star review but due to their lack of sense and poor costumer service I had to change that to a bright 1 star. Secondly the staff at the desk have no manners; all seem to be in a mood, maybe they weren’t given it the night before! Overall rude, and they have to have the last talk. Personally I wouldn’t visit. Poor excuse of a dentist. Overpriced and rude.

Negative experience: Very poor customer service and empathy towards patients, I was 3 mins late for my appointment, called prior to tell them i would be a few mins late due to issue with parking (car park being full), arrived to be told the dentist would not see me, there was only 1 other patient sitting in the reception area, no other patients in with the dentist, so not like they were super busy, just a really poor experience.

Fantastic experience: I don’t think I’ve ever received such a quick registration and appointment turnaround for anything before today. The dentist, forgive me for not remembering her name, was incredibly clear and explained everything in full, not to mention helped ease my severe anxiety. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: My Dentist and the current two Receptionist are professional friendly helpful and lovely. They always make me feel comfortable and take away any worries or concerns that I may have and only give genuine honest advice regarding my teeth and gums.

Positive experience: Second time here has not improved since I came last need a massive upgrade to its decor

Negative experience: The appointments system is not professional at all, as the appointment will be booked three months prior to the time, and the changed just the day before the appointment day to make it 15 minutes earlier, and it you get late by less than 15 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled and rebooked for another day, without consideration for patients age or road traffic or even how far the car parking from the clinic.

Negative experience: They dont answer the phone and when they do they hang up on you straight away. Not very helpful when your in agony and need an emergency appointment

Fantastic experience: Came for check up with hubby today….i was a first timer a few weeks ago and petrified…….. all the staff were very kind and compassionate..made me feel so at ease and the same today.So thank you all so much.

Positive experience: Pretty simple experience - you book, you turn up, let the receptionists know you’re there, you are seen and then you pay after. I can’t lie though I had a dentist who went on maternity leave (hope everything is ok!) that was lovely and when I am due back, I hope treatment would be with her

Negative experience: Very disappointed in your services. Kind of unprofessional, I did tooth filling and it fell off on the very same day. Sadly, I indicated to your dentist that the filling was a bit shaky, he said don't use your tongue to touch it!! How then was i supposed to eat, if the tooth was shaking already?!!!

Negative experience: So I’ve been suffering the last 2 years on and off with wisdom teeth pain after being told there wasn’t anything there after having a x-ray with these people a few years back,just calling me for check ups and taking my money when I’m clearly suffering so I stopped using these people and now I’m having treatment for infection and wisdom teeth pushing through causing pain and suffering for me and have paid out alot of money in emergency appointments waiting for a referral to hospital.would have been nice if city dentist could have listened and referred me before so I didn’t have to go through this again

Negative experience: Awful dentist and receptionists. I will say the other dentists in the practice seem ok but the one I was assigned to - who never once told me her name but is the younger female - is awful. Absolutely no bedside manner from her or any of the dental nurses I’ve had in the room. You have ask for aftercare advice and to be told why she’s doing what she’s doing or else she will hardly speak to you in the room and send you out the second she’s done. I recently had my filling fall out after 2 days, when I tried to book in they refused to let me see one of the other dentists to correct her work. They when cancelled the appointment on the day and made me wait almost a month to get it fixed so in the end I have just gone to another practice. The dentist is also constantly late - inc. my last appointment where she was on her phone for 30 mins in the staff room and didn’t apologise for being late. But at the same time I’ve seen them refuse to see people who were 5 minutes late to their appointment. As for the receptionists they are incredibly rude and will sit at the front desk talking about clients, last time I was there they were even reading these reviews and laughing about the negative ones. So I hope you’re reading this and learn how to do your job better

Positive experience: The 2 i have to preform the work i have done - i cant fault However - you have to predict when your child falls ill if you pay private! I have now lost my deposit due to my child being ill so i cant make my appointment TOMORROW! There needs to be a FAIR policy where if it comes to illness aslong as you dont cancel on the dau then you should NOT lose your hard earned money!

Negative experience: Really poor, you're always asked to hold the line when you ring in, then you wait for 15 -20 minutes before someone speaks to you. Have seen staff in person who answer the call ,put caller on hold to then walk off to do something else and not return til a good 10-15 minutes.... really poor service.

Fantastic experience: Found the dentist professional,easy to talk to and the check up was carried out, didn't feel like an NHS patient more private patient and the x-ray was with modern,never seen a machine like it. So all in a very good experience,would recommend this dentist (City Dental) to anyone. Oh,and the staff are very good as well, pleasant and professional.

City Dental have been fantastic I would like to thank Ruby and Jat for being so patient with me they put me at ease with constant reassurance and explained every process.Now I'm not afraid of the dentist and would strongly recommend City Dental.

Negative experience: I am very dissatisfied with City Dental Practice Wolverhampton. They schedule appointments several weeks or even months in advance and have no system to inform people about upcoming appointments. They should send SMS reminders a few days before the appointment. This serves as a reminder for patients because a lot can happen in six months, and sometimes people forget about such appointments. It also provides the opportunity to reschedule if, for some reason, you are unavailable on the appointment day. Currently, they call a day before the appointment, but if you need to reschedule, according to the receptionists, it has to be done at least 48 hours in advance, making it impossible to change the appointment the day before. What if you're out of town? Isn't it better to reschedule appointments even with a day's notice than to have no one show up at all? Another issue is their phone system. For example, I hear my phone ringing on the table, but after two rings, it stops. It seems like a scam practice or something done by salespeople. They claim to be professionals, yet they can't manage a proper patient information system. There are so many SMS systems synchronized with calendars that can send these notifications automatically. Instead, a few weeks ago, I was told this was my second missed appointment in three years, and one more would result in a ban from the practice. Over the past three years, I have had about nine appointments plus the three missed ones, making a total of twelve appointments, including two in the last month alone. Recently, I couldn't reschedule an appointment for the next day or two, and the receptionist booked me nearly three weeks later, probably as a punishment. During those three weeks, a lot happened, and the situation repeated itself. Overall, they need to improve their appointment reminder system and their approach to patient communication. Marcin B.

Fantastic experience: Never an issue with this practice. Prompts 24hrs prior to dental appointment. Dentist always keeps me informed of interventions required with an explanation.

Fantastic experience: I had to ring for an emergency appointment today and the receptionist were so helpful. They fitted me in at 1.55pm, not with my normal dentist but another one, and I received the best care. The practice was really busy and I cannot fault the attention I received. Negative experience: Dentists then self brilliant the reception staff are just incredibly rude to people and have an attitude and i don’t know why it’s like they own the place and there never confidential everyone knows what benefits someone’s on to pay for treatment because there never quite about it no point calling to complain your just told find another practice or well we are sorry but then loads of excuses

Negative experience: Previous work(filling) fell out. Waited for the initial appointment so all the family can attend. I spoke with the dental practice and they rearranged so we can all go in the same day. Due to both working parents it tends to be difficult and we have to attend together. After weeks..we got to the surgery and we have been informed that we received a text message saying that we need to rearrange. The doctors are always nice and friendly. However, the work tends to be temporary and the appointments a headache, even if you have problems when it was just "fixed". Unfortunately for us, it is not the first time when this has happened. In turn, they offered to support first time and they did, but this could have been avoided. Would not recommend

Negative experience: Very poor customer service, I walked in towards the reception desk to check in as I had an appointment on Friday 26th Jan 2024 in the afternoon. I waited patiently for a good few minutes listening to both the ladies behind the desk talking about their nails etc. Both seen me but carried on talking, next thing one lady got up to go round the back and was gone for a good few minutes. I still waited patiently looking to be called up to be checked in. It took 6mins for the lady to say to me can I help? No HI, nothing no apology nothing? I have been coming for years and the reception ladies are so rude? They need re-training to treat customers perhaps with a bit of respect? So rude I will not be going back to this dental practice? The fact they saw me waiting to be served but yet carried on talking was rude. Appalling service.

Negative experience: The Worst customer service I have experienced. The receptionist has an attitude problem. Either they need training or don’t enjoy their jobs, because customer service is something they don’t have. I got discharged because I told the receptionist that will call her back to book for appointment. Me saying I will call you back was a issue to her I don’t know if they work on a commission base that you can only do as they please when it suits them not you as the customer. It’s clear from a lot of negative comments it’s a ongoing an ongoing issue which they won’t address. I wouldn't recommend City Dental Wolverhampton to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My first time going today and I'm not very good with people close to my face. But the Dentist was great, relaxed me and he explained everything that would happen and gave me options and explained them too. I chose to have a tooth removed and I have had them removed before but this was by far the best experience, felt no pain at all. The prices are great and even though the reception staff were have technical issues they were very polite and worked as they could.

Positive experience: Decent dental service, never had an issue with reception attitude as per other reviews. Just be aware that if you have a 9am appointment you'll be locked out until 9 waiting on the stairs. We're always well looked after with treatment.

Negative experience: This is the worst customer service I've ever had. The receptionist were so Rude they don't know how to do their job. Today I attended my appointment I was late 16 mins due to traffic. They said this the 3rd time I've missed my appointment. Rubbish service from the reception lazy ladies. They never told me about those 2 appointments. I've advised them politley that they never told me about appointments or sending any notification aboout the appointments, than the one that I shoud have it today. They didn't want to help at all, obviously I will never be with this practice clinic at all. They treat patients unfair and rude. SHAME

Negative experience: Katelen and Prea they were so Rude this is unacceptable. Katelen doesn't know how to talk and behave with patients. Unbelievable how rude she was today when I went for my appointment. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Negative experience: This is the worst service I've ever had from them. especially Katelen from reception she is very RUDE she shouldn't work there AT ALL. They said, I've missed 2 appointments but they never arranged those appointments for me. They didn't advise me about the appointments. I don't think Katelen SHOULD WORK in this environment AT ALL. She is not doing her jobe at all. We need stuff who knows how to be polite and knowing how to talk with patients. I will contact the complaints team as the service she provided was not acceptable AT ALL.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant practice. Staff are always polite and courteous. My children’s dentist Sharia is fabulous and always puts them at ease. The fact that they look forward to their visits is a testament to her. She’s professional, very thorough but some how makes it fun for the children. I highly recommend City Dental.

Negative experience: The worst practice I have ever been to. First and last visit ever and approached by a rude and unhelpful receptionist, staff also do not ask for the correct documents and are incompetent which has now left my 83 year old Grandma with a £123 penalty for not ticking the correct box during her visit. Her first language isn't English so the receptionists could have contacted us to explain but only phone calls to ask if we wanted to book her next treatment and no idea that there was any issue with the treatment until getting a penalty fine a few days ago. Impractical stairway for the elderly and you have to line up in the stairs until the practice opens the staff do not even make eye contact or smile. Where do they find these people from! No wonder they are the only practice taking on patients, nobody wants to go there!

Positive experience: I have been with this practice a number of years now. To date, the service has been good and professional. Convenient city centre location is also useful.

Negative experience: WORST DENTIST I'VE EVER BEEN! I've paid £40 for a check of my teeths. Doctor checked only 1 teeth (took him less than a minute) and told me that if I want to check next one it's another £40 for every each teeth!!!!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

Fantastic experience: I called City Dental this morning as my son fell out of the stroller yesterday evening and knocked one of his teeth loose so I needed to get him seen quickly, however due to his age he was not registered with a dentist so I was stuck. I had called a few other dentists but they were not taking on new patients, however City Dental made accomodations for my son to be seen despite not being an existing patient. He was able to be seen that morning, when we arrived the sign in process was clear and straightforward. We barely had time to sit down before being seen and the staff were all pleasant and kind. The dentist reassured me and advised me on the best course of action. Overall they have been extremely helpful and my only regret is that they are not taking on more patients! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I phoned up about a week ago as I am not registered yet with the dental practice I enquired if could see the dental hygienist. The receptionist was extremely helpful and got me in quickly. Prior to this I had been with my private dentist well over 15 years.However in recent years I have not been impressed. I was treated by the dental hygienist Ruby. I was impressed for lots of reasons! She asked me quite a few questions for background issues with my teeth, allergies, health issues etc. She talked me through the process and was responsive to me throughout. What impressed me most was how thorough she was, her passion towards people's teeth / gum health and the end result. I will be joining this practice today.

Fantastic experience: As a lady that has bad experience of other dental practices that left me nervous to go back to a dentist i plucked up courage and went to city dental practice and was made to feel extremely welcome by the receptionist, dental nurses and also the dentist what a extremely understanding gentleman i had quite a lot of work done over 2 days and he explained everything that was going to happen and put me at ease I'm now not nervous going again will recommend this extremely good practice to anyone

Negative experience: The ladies who are at the reception are very bad, they are not dedicated to customer service, they give bad service, they are not friendly, and their faces seem like they have a bad day every day, the truth is painful.

Fantastic experience: Recently attended the City Dental Practice as a new patient. The customer care service received was excellent overall. The reception staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful. The dental treatment received from Dr. Chouhan was so thorough, effective and my dental pain resolved. Dr. Chouhan was very approachable, professional and took time to explain the process. Overall the best dental practice I have been to so far.

Negative experience: They don't have time to see ppl and ppl on phones don't like to work be4 lunchtime so don't waste your time. If can go somewhere else so your not mess about for months getting no were. And when have seen them all ways feels like they miss something cus don't have the time for the customers. Theses days there was not always like that severs has gone down hill
