Negative experience: Really hate this place - been a customer for over 10 years and it gets worse with every passing year. Treat you like they are doing you a favour to be giving you their service. Had a succession of dentists who all have a horrible manner and always get the feeling you are just there for them to try and squeeze more and more money out of you.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ajesh was amazing, was very presently suprised with outcome of the appoiment. Managed to fill my cavity’s without local anesthetic in very quick time. Would highly reccomed!!

(I'm also very pleased to hear that appointments are available Monday to Friday. As a regular patient - it's reassuring to build up a good rapport. Fantastic experience: Sania is absolutely a first class dentist, from the moment I met her I felt so comfortable. She explains and advises everything to me in order to care for my teeth and gums in a hope that I can still keep hold of all my teeth, they're not perfect but, I'd like to keep them for as long as I can. I'd also like to praise this lady for something she picked up on whilst I had a routine check up. I'd been coughing for over 3 months, was told by my Dr (Twice) I had, had a chest infection which was treated with antibiotics. Sania advised me to get a 2nd option as she could see my throat was rather red. I did see another Dr who confirmed I had pneumonia and needed more antibiotics & steroids, I've also been told it'll take me at least 6 months to recover from this. I cannot thank Sania enough for giving me that extra push to get a 2nd opinion. All the staff at the dental practice is very polite and helpful too.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with the service from Holmoak. Booked in a filling and hygienist appointment for 10.30 but it had been booked in the system as 9.30. No text reminders came through and was told that I had to pay for the time of the dentist so a hygienist appointment ended up costing £195. 10 years with Holmoak and never missed an appointment so really disappointed they took this stance to charge on the first appointment I’d missed and also because I’d planned to go to work at 9 for a meeting and then go to the appointment so I would never have booked a 9.30 appointment but receptionist would not believe me or offer to check the telephone recording. After all this the hygienist was 15 minutes late for my appointment. Was also told that it was my responsibility to keep my contact details up to date and not Holmoak’s regardless of GDPR. With a young family and having to pay for an imaginary filling I’m really surprised this was the stance Holmoak took to charge me when from my perspective it was an error by the receptionist booking the appointment Update 17/6/25 - Had a call from practice manager day after adding the google review and said I was charged a deposit for future appointment however this is not true as they wanted me to pay £320 after my appointment. Got refunded £120 out of the £125 they charged me for the dentists hourly rate. I’m guessing for an admin but another poor experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for many years. Recently I attended to have crown on a back tooth. As always the advice and care from Dr Fadi was the best ! Together with his nurse Edi na they are a great team. and I have been to many dentist over 65 years, This has been the most professional and focused on the patient. It was a difficult tooth , and the care and knowledge from this team made it a good experience. So pleased with the experience of staff at this practise from reception to dr Fadi and Edi . Fantastic experience: I had an appointment today, the reception was very organised, polite and professional. Then I saw Dr. Fadi Safar, and nurse Edina. Dr. Fadi is excellent, he was very gentle, and I honestly say the anesthesia injections and the whole procedure was painless. He did a great job and I would definitely visit again. He is very professional and knowledgeable with clear plan and direct instructions. Nurse Edina was very helpful and kept me calm and occupied throughout. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Right from the go get the experience was fantastic, the receptionist was extremely polite and helpful, she even offered to help fill out the new patient form for me as i was a bit nervous and slightly shaky, thank you. Negative experience: I had to attend here due to an emergency 111 appointment and was met by a very unfriendly gentleman who was very pushy in telling me I needed either an extraction or root canal, neither of which being cheap options. "which do you want?"... Felt very pressured and like I had to give him an answer there n then without being able to consider the options or costs involved. Must have asked me 3 or else 4 times, "so which one do you want" won't be going back there for any additional treatment.

Fantastic experience: Although got off to a bumpy start, both reception but especially the manager were very attentive to getting the problem rectified. The Manager is very friendly and professional. Dentist I saw downstairs on my last visit provided a very good service! I was very happy with how she dealt with it.

Negative experience: I had a referral through 111 a few months ago, where I felt so unwelcomed and felt like i was a bother to the dentist. I am unsure of the name of the dentist but I felt she looked down at me and felt she was judgemental as I was trying to explain my pain. She then told me that I "needed to have my wisdom tooth taken out as it was impacted" and she made it adamant that was the case. She then told me I needed to go to Hospital to have my xray, that was not a bother so went and done. I then went back to this dentistry where I handed my xray to them. They said I would hear from the same dentist in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed and heard nothing. I called back to be told to wait and that the dentist would get back to me in a few days. Never heard anything. I then get my referral through 2 weeks ago to go to a surgery to get it removed, to then be told that there is nothing wrong and that no tooth needs to be removed. The dentist gave me the impression that there was no other choice but to remove the tooth, which caused panic and anxiety, and even caused me to worry for months about a tooth that ended up not being needed. I am annoyed as I felt that I was just a bother to this dentist and that I was wasting her time. The care was minimal, and I felt I was pushed to the side. Having to wait months for a referral just to be told that nothing is wrong and that no teeth are to be removed after being looked at by her and to be misdiagnosed by her.

Fantastic experience: Was referred by 111 was seen by Jasleen she was amazing her helper was brilliant always smiling jasleen makes sure your comfortable and understand what work she's doing and always making sure your ok through the whole time all the staff had smiles on their faces would highly recommend Holmoak dental practice.

Negative experience: Like previous comments have stated, they have rescheduled my appointment twice now with short notice given. My routine appointments are scheduled every three months but due to the frequent changes it will be over six months between my latest checkups. Whilst I appreciate that work schedules change, given that you a deposit has been paid almost six months ago, I book time off work and it was the dentist that stipulated I need regular check ups I think it's borderline negligent. I have since developed a tooth ache which likely would not have happened if I had my checkup when it was due. The actual dentists are nice and informative... When you actually get to see then.

Fantastic experience: Hello. My name is James. I was referred to Holmoak Dental Practice through the 111 emergency service when I was experiencing excruciating pain from a toothache. As soon as I entered I was greeted with a smile and felt warmly welcomed. I was given a short form to fill in and invited through to the waiting room, which was clean and very well maintained. As I was waiting for my turn, every other patient before me was greeted with courtesy and a smile by the staff who came down to collect them. When it was my turn, I wasn’t in the chair for long before the dentist Dr Johann identified what was wrong and what needed to be done. He confirmed his diagnosis with an X-ray and proceeded to remove my tooth, which he said was infected. His approach was synonymous with best practice and the highest level of professional excellence. I would recommend this practice to anyone who values being treated with the highest level of professional courtesy. These people know what they are doing and are the best I have come across in years.

Negative experience: Received an automated appointment reminder! Arrived at the allotted time only to be told appointment was 45 mins later!!! I showed her text! Girl in reception said not to go on this! Why send them then!!!

Negative experience: They keep cancelling and not offering new appointments . Have lost time at work because of this. 2nd appointment … yes same again. Ringing them phone continual rings out currrnt up to 5 mins still no reply

Jasleen is brilliant. She explains everything perfectly and never has she rushed an appointment. I always feel that she has been honest and thorough and would recommend her to anyone.

Fantastic experience: ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! I've been coming here for 6 years now and I just love my dentist and her nurse. They both always make me feel at ease and have always done a great job. I had a deep filling today and they got me back in quick and even under the new covid guidelines went above and beyond!!!! I was in and out in 45 mins and even got a scale. I was really nervous about going back in today and the last week went slow, but I had nothing to worry about! My dentist was able to help me get away with a filling rather than root canal. I wont go anywhere else! The reception team are also fantastic and always greet me with a smile and always ask how I am. So lucky to have these as an NHS dentist! UPDATE.... STILL OUTSTANDING The service here is next level. From the second you get there to check in the treatment and booking again is faultless and a true pleasure. I'd be lost without my dentist and her legend assistant. Best dentist place I've ever had and I will never leave, the service to book is 5*

Fantastic experience: Visited yesterday and had a filling. The whole experience was absolutely fine. Jasleen is very competent and extremely good at communicating what she is doing and whilst I'm not a fan of the dentist's chair she made me feel quite relaxed about the whole procedure and I've no hesitation in recommending her practice.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for several years now and wouldn't like to go anywhere else. It's the best dental service that I've ever had, at the age of 53 I've had a lot of dental experience. I've had 3 different Dr's in that time and all have been excellent. My latest Dr, Dr Jasleen is brilliant. I've had a fair bit or work undertaken by Jasleen which has all been done extremely well. This was including a molar extraction, which I hardly felt coming out, a very clean professional job! Jasleens guidance has also improved my teeth and gums in just a few visits. All round, including the friendly reception this Dental practice is highly recommended by me
