Fantastic experience: The best dentist I've ever come across. George has done it all, and knows how to help you. He has a great manner, is calm and super proficient. In fact I've come to him twice over the years to fix issues caused by other dentists. He's that good. Would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Negative experience: I had an airflow appointment with Laith Bany-Mustafa. They charged me £135. I came on time but I had to wait for 30 mins which I didn’t mind however literally the dentist spent 5-6 mins on cleaning my teeth and didn’t even do a good job. Wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at CAP City Dental since 2012. Since my childhood I had a terrible dental anxiety that resulted in losing 2 of my teeth at a young age. Since Dr Druttman became my Dentist he had helped me to overcome my fear of dentistry by using “happy gas” during my treatments . He always thoroughly prepared me for my upcoming dental procedures by explaining in depth what will happen and what results to expect after the treatment by providing me with in depth clear treatment plan. In his care I have undergone a total smile make-over by having composite veneers placed to fix the gaps between my front teeth. I also had 2 bridges placed that enabled me to chew the food properly. He had also safely removed and replaced the amalgam fillings that a long time ago have been placed by my previous NHS Dentist and were causing me serious digestive issues. Dr Druttman used the most advanced techniques and modern materials and always did his best to safe my natural teeth. I am truly grateful to Dr Druttman for his excellent care, for always listening to my needs and delivering excellent results. All the staff at Cap City Dental were always helpful, kind, caring and always held my hand when I was scared. I can’t thank them all enough for having healthy teeth today and a beautiful smile.

Negative experience: I had a very negative experience at this clinic. During my appointment, the dentist was unprofessional, dismissive, and even made inappropriate personal remarks about my medical history, which I found deeply disrespectful. The treatment was carried out without properly explaining what would be done or how much it would cost. Only at the end was I told what had been done and asked to pay £500, without having been given clear consent beforehand. I was also pressured into signing a form after the procedure, which felt extremely improper. The dentist’s George Druttman manner throughout was brusque and rude, making me feel belittled and uncomfortable. He even spoke negatively about his receptionist - who was a lovely lady and I felt very bad for her - during the appointment, which I found very unprofessional. Since the treatment, my pain has worsened, and after consulting another dentist, I was told the procedure I received was likely unnecessary. Overall, I felt disrespected, poorly treated, and overcharged. I cannot recommend this clinic and strongly advise caution before booking an appointment. I also noticed that this clinic has a 4.9 rating, which seems very questionable given the quality of care I received. The only negative review I saw here reflects much more closely what I experienced, so please do not be misled by the overly positive ratings.

I was seen straightaway and I really can't thank George and his team enough. They are all incredibly professional, kind and ensure you are quite at ease. Fantastic experience: One of the best and most caring dentist I've ever been to. Dr. Druttman and his assistant Marilou are excellent, very followed a very thorough approach in my dental examination, reassured me and even called me two days after the operation to check on my recovery. Dr. Druttman made himself available for possible emergencies and made me feel very well looked after. During the examination Dr. druttman uses noise cancellation noice headphones to help patients relax and Marilou even matched my music taste. Fantastic experience: George at CAP City Dental has been my regular dentist since I moved to London. I cannot fault the service I have received, particularly in respect of the restorative and cosmetic dentistry procedures received that have transformed my smile--George is highly talented at this craft. A special shout-out as well to his regular assistant Marilou who is similarly talented/knowledgeable in her own right, and a great asset/complimentary presence in the theatre. While such services are not priced at the bargain end of the market, you will get what you pay for here. The location is also very convenient for city workers, and I've generally always had appointment times that suit me well.

Fantastic experience: American Pilot with a very busy schedule. Was in London of one of my many layovers summer 2023. Had not been to a dentist in sometime. Was in need of a deep scaling for oral hygiene and start pains of a Carrie. I’m one of those and for all work completed under N20 (Nitrous Oxide Gas) for seems to be only way. He was able to see me and complete this matter swiftly and professionally. Didn’t scare me out of the chair. Recommend this practice and would return on a layover.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth that was causing me severe pain. I was feeling highly anxious because my previous dentist treated the wrong tooth. My childhood orthodontist left me with an occlusion and had taken out too many teeth. I was having trouble finding a dentist who would not only treat my gaps and cavities, but would also provide an unbiased opinion of my previous treatments. After appointments with other clinics, I found Cap City Dental. Dr Druttman, Marilou, Reni and Michael were welcoming. They helped me correct years of problems in just three visits over as many weeks. The team genuinely try to understand what you are trying to achieve. They don’t push you to have work done. I particularly appreciated Dr Druttman’s comprehensive reports in which he provided his professional opinion on what happened and what should happen moving forward. I highly recommend them not only because they make sure you feel comfortable, but provide you with enough information to ensure you can make an informed decision.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr George Druttman after another dentist had failed to treat a tooth problem effectively. After a quick consult Dr Druttman knew what the problem was right away and it could be fixed during the same appointment. He is clearly a very experienced and skillful dentist. Besides that, the whole experience in the clinic is very smooth and all the staff very helpful. Will definitely be coming back here for all my dental needs!

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to visit George some time ago. I’d not been to the dentist for years and I was quite apprehensive. George was fantastic from the initial consultation which was a 1st for me and really put me at ease. George went through the process and procedure with me beforehand which I found superb. I’ve been back since for a check-up and for hygiene works all great. The surgery is right by Bank Station so a great central location. I would highly recommend anyone to see George and especially if you are of a nervous disposition.

Fantastic experience: I felt it necessary I leave a review for anyone looking for an honest, professional and friendly dentist. Dr Alfonso Frontera is one of a kind, I came across him having need root canal. When I read his ethical stance on root canal procedure and the costs involved, the reality is most cannot afford to potentially save a tooth but have it removed. I found the whole procedure, first and second visit both comfortable and pain free. He is meticulous and works efficiently. A procedure I’m sure most people dread, certainly wasn’t looking forwards to it myself unsure of what to expect, however (hopefully a treatment I don’t have to ever consider again), be it should I ever need to I then know for certain one I don’t need to dread. It’s a very welcoming, warm, friendly and a very inviting practice to which I could not make any complaints, all the staff make an effort to welcome patients. I would highly without any hesitation recommend Dr Alfonso Frontera (CapCity) for any dental need’s especially root canal, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I went in to Cap city dental looking to get numerous treatments done including composite veneers, fillings and teeth hygiene and cleaning. Everyone there was extremely welcoming and Dr Druttman takes his utmost time to ensure you’re happy with the final result. I was given various options and not just what the Dr thought would be good. Mid- treatment George was constantly giving me a mirror to look at the results to see if there was anything I wasn’t happy about. My treatment went amazingly and I couldn’t have asked for a better result, it was everything I had gone in looking for and I highly recommend anyone with any aesthetic or general issues to see him.

Fantastic experience: I first saw George in 2017 after many many years of not attending the dentist. He was fantastic and put me at ease as well as made the process extremely simple and stress free. When I first visited George we discussed some aesthetic options, I was never pushed into anything which is why a few years later I decided it was time to have the work done. George and I had a very thorough discussion about what I wanted and my options both practical and the price. Once I was happy with a plan everything was so simple and once again, time in the dentists chair was completely stress free. Fantastic experience: This is an updated review as CAP City Dental have moved to a new practice location at Austin Fields. The new surgery is an updated contemporary and bespoke experience, offering light, air and comfort. All professional attributes from before are intact and improved. I believe the customer care and experience to be second to none and cannot recommend Dr. Druttman and the whole team enough. I've been visiting the practice for 15 years and while particularly nervous about dental work, reassurance and explanation ensures comfort through any procedure. For an emergency, diary space is made as soon as possible. The clinic is now a short walk from Bank station, through an arch and easy to find. CAP City Dental offers the best of care in a fabulous new boutique site and is highly recommended. Great thanks.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing George for several years now and his work is always impeccable. He does both the check-ups and cleaning for my regular visits, which I like, and my teeth always feels so clean and I feel assured the health of my teeth and gums after his inspection. The most impressive time was when I needed a root canal treatment. After most of the hard work was done, he thoroughly inspected the condition again, and found that I had an extra nerve, which I heard relatively rare. Thanks to his through work, I did not need to go through another pain or extra treatments. I would highly recommend for people seeking quality treatments.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing George for routine check ups and hygiene appointments for a few years and had had a number of conversations about cosmetic work. George set out the various options to fix my slightly wonky teeth and in the end we settled on some composite veneers for some of my upper teeth and filing of the lower teeth. I am really pleased with the result and as an added bonus, my new bite means I am no longer able to bite my nails… breaking an almost 30 year habit!!

Fantastic experience: The dental practice is in a convenient location and easy to find. I have been a patient with this practice for approx. 18 months at the time of writing. I have had various treatments some straightforward such as cleaning and scaling and others more complex such as root canal treatment. While I do not suffer from dental anxiety, Dr. Druttman has always explained to me the reason for a treatment being proposed, what is expected to address and its cost before I give my consent to proceed. I trust Dr. Druttman implicitly for all matters that relate to my teeth and dental hygiene.

Over the years Dr. D has been happy to do minor cosmetic things like fixing a slightly chipped tooth for reasonable cost while doing routine maintenance, cleaning, etc….highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr Druttman for a clean today and he was kind enough to slot me in for some cosmetic repairs to my broken front teeth and a worn down incisor, without a separate booking. He explained each treatment clearly before starting the work; the before and after difference is remarkable. It was my first experience 'going private' and a totally different experience to NHS work, not only from the dentist but the whole practice - highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing George on and off for 20 years. I originally went to see him in 2002 after an accident where I lost my front tooth . He suggested a brace to straighten my gappy teeth and then veneers. The veneers were excellent, incredibly natural looking and even more surprising lasted for almost 15 years. I have only recently had to have a few replaced. George is an artist in this field. He strives for perfection whilst still keeping your smile natural. The whole team are great and even a check up is a thorough but relaxing experience (thank you in part to the gas and headphones). I would highly recommend Cap City Dental.

Fantastic experience: Such a fantastic experience with this practice. I’m from New York and thus have used my New York dentist for the past decade however this all may change going-forward after my visit to Dr George and his team. It’s a very comfortable experience where I was able to relax in the chair and get a deep cleaning. Relaxing gas was administered to help with my dental anxiety and some noise cancelling SONY headphones blocked out any and all noise from the procedure. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for dental procedure.

Fantastic experience: Listening to Bruch's violin concerto on expensive headphones under bright lights while breathing in laughing gas through the nose is more akin to an evening at the Royal Opera House than a trip to the dentist! Visiting Dr George Druttman is a very pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: I needed to change my dentist which I am glad I did. I needed to go just for a check-up and cleaning. It was very easy to book an appointment online. They even call you to confirm the dates and you fill all the forms online before coming. I was examed visually and had a few X-rays for a checkup. I haven't had my teeth cleaned during COVID I was a bit anxious about how I am gonna go through scaling and polishing without anything. good thing there was relaxing gas that was worth every penny. If you are one of those with sensitive teeth I would highly recommend relaxing gas. Dr Druttman did an amazing job, explaining everything before doing anything, and of course, there was a follow-up email after where everything is in writing what I had have done that day. Very professional. And thanks to Iwona for tips and tricks on how to take better care of my teeth. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Dentist in the City: very attentive, professional services and great levels of Dental care. Highly Recommended. I came to see Dr Druttman following an accident and a poorly conducted initial treatment elsewhere. Dr Druttman immediately saw me, gave me professional advice on my condition, and was able to rectify the dental problem (a poor bite and fixing of the teeth) and immediately alleviate my pain. He also conducted a number of ex-post tests to check all my dental conditions, which made me feel confident that they had correctly found all the issues. The Dr spent time with me explaining how my teeth may evolve and what I should expect over time. The team was always friendly, courteous and incredibly knowledgeable. I came to the Dentist with incredible pain ; and I left feeling re-assured that my teeth had been looked after in the right way. Thank you Dr Duttman

Fantastic experience: Dr Druttman and the team (Iwona, Marilou, Raya and Michael) have greatly helped me to improve my teeth over the last year. I had a painful urgent issue that was dealt with promptly when no other dentist would accommodate me for months, and have since had a course of orthodontic treatment. As someone who paid little attention to my teeth, I have been very happy with the aesthetic results. I also had bad past experiences of dental work, but they put me completely at ease. George's manner is friendly, professional and courteous; treatment recommendations are presented neutrally and transparently. Everyone works hard and intensely. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Druttman for a routine check-up and a crown replacement. The whole experience was very positive from the booking of appointments to the actual treatment. Michael (the medical secretary) was very helpful and diligent in sending updates. Dr Druttman took the time to do a thorough examination and always sent a detailed report afterwards of each treatment. He also offered great aesthetic advice. A very professional team… I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Druttman’s practice for over two decades now. I first went because I chipped a tooth at work and needed a local dentist in the City, not having time to travel all the way out of London to the one I used to use back at my Mum’s. I got good professional care and, importantly, reassurance. What had felt like half a tooth breaking off was actually only a tiny sliver, which was easily made good (basically filing down slightly to remove jaggedness) and doesn’t really look any different. He knows his stuff. I have had great care over the duration from him and his team. I have been lucky enough not to have had any major problems with my teeth, such as broken teeth, crowns, cavities and so on. But I will always be grateful for him fixing the effectiveness of my bite. George has what could be called a passion for aesthetic dentistry. “Passion” in the old-fashioned sense of determination to do well, rather than crazed advocacy. I have a slightly crowded mouth, like many people. George talked to me about teeth straightening, veneers and so on. I have never been interested in having a Tom Cruise smile, but looked into what was involved. I decided I didn’t want to have braces or an alteration of the appearance of my teeth. George then talked to me about function. I had never had a clean bite - my teeth would rip more than slice when biting food, due to poor alignment. With a little bit of taking down in some areas and building up in others by George, unnoticeable in appearance, my biting mechanics are now fixed. This was not very expensive or time-consuming, but has massively improved the experience of eating several types of food for me which were frankly too much hassle before. That’s the only major work I have had with him, well over a decade ago. I am still very satisfied with it - the built up bits (mainly at the back of one canine) and the reduced bits are still as strong and smooth as ever, no degradation or discomfort. Amazing value really. The reviews for CAP City seem to be a bit varied, many excellent but some reviewers venting some spleen. I can only go from my own experience, which is excellent care for years. Dentists can be a personal choice - not everyone clicks with every dentist - but I would recommend giving the CAP City Dental practice a go to anyone. And I’d be happy to answer questions on my experience.

Fantastic experience: I came to Dr Druttman many years ago after a bad experience with an orthodontist who left me with a very poor bite. Dr Druttman re-aligned my bite and explained everything very throughly beforehand. The work he did was excellent and ever since then he has become my regular dentist. All of the team at the pratice are very friendly and it’s very easy to find. They really focus on preventative dentisty giving clear and friendly advice on how to improve your own routine. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone - in fact Dr Druttman was a recommendation to me. I’m only sad I didn’t find him earlier! He’s across London to me but I really don’t gave any issue travelling to him as I really wouldn’t have any other dentist now.

Fantastic experience: I have just been for a check-up and cleaning. Completed forms online prior to the appointment, which makes it easier on the day of the appointment. The practice is located on Cannon St, which easily accessible from Monument, Bank or Cannon St stations. The staff are very friendly. Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment with Dr. George Druttman while on a visit in London from abroad. The whole experience was extremely positive, from communicating with Michael the medical secretary, who arranged the appointment efficiently, to the pleasant medical assistant and the superb treatment offered by the dentist. He seemingly had an east task -- to re-attach a crown which fell off. Rather than simply re-attach the crown, he carried out a thorough examination which detected a problem in need of special attention at a later stage and provided me with a medical report in which he offered his recommendation to my own doctor. I give this clinic the highest score for the combination of professionalism and friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Druttman for over 15 years. Before that I had had some bad experiences with other dentists but I could tell after he did the first filling for me that the quality of his work was on another level. I don't class myself as a loyal customer of any brand, retailer or service but what I do care about is the quality of the work. What I get from Cap City dental and George is trust. I know any work will be done to the high level of quality that I expect. That is the reason that I have stayed with George and the team for this long. I view going to Cap City Dental as one of my few luxuries - maybe that makes me a bit of an oddball! In that time, I've had fillings, crowns, wisdom teeth work (an associate of George) and bi-annual check ups. Extensive work and the quality is superb. I remember one occasion over the course of 15 years where a filling broke down shortly after but I went in and the repair took place free of charge, minimum of fuss and no problems afterwards. The work is expensive compared to some other dentists but I've seen cheaper alternatives before and have ended up paying even more to correct mistakes so I have chosen a practice that I can trust. Over the course of time my teeth and gum health has improved immeasurably as I follow George's advice and recommendations on cleaning routine as best I can. This is probably the most important aspect for me: getting my teeth and gum health to a high standard. If I could afford it I would send my entire family to Cap City Dental!

Negative experience: I had several fillings done by Druttman. The Dr. Mengele of teeth. Absolute butcher and bully. Save yourself time and money. The quality of is work is so poor that you will need to have it redone. It's unclear whether Dr. Druttman is just incompetent or if it's a ploy to keep you coming back to his office over and over again. Either way, find yourself a competent and gentle dentist. He's simultaneously rough, not up on the latest techniques, and expensive. He pushes you to get more and more expensive treatments...It's hard to believe the positive reviews, which is what lured me into his clutches. Dr. Druttman preys on patients with dental anxiety. Please note that it's the only search term he ranks for. If you search for 'best dentist" Dr. Druttman doesn't show up. There's a reason... *Read the positive reviews carefully. Not sure all of them are real. Look for broken English, bad grammar (like they were written in a click for pay shop), and mispellings. Why would so many people talk about their anxiety, unprompted in online reviews? And the reviews that are real, are from Dr. Druttman asking his patients to go online to try and drown out HONEST, bad reviews. You can tell because they're "coming to his defense". What honest, dentist needs to ask his patients to write reviews in his defense?

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this practice for my dental care since 2003. The practice is conveniently located in Cannon street in easy reach of public transport. I have always been very well looked after and have been very appreciative of the care received. Dr George the dentist is always kind and caring explaining all aspects of the treatment offered. The dental nurses are very skilled and very friendly always putting the patients at ease. Reception are extremely pleasant and always try to accommodate changes of appointment or emergencies. I would fully recommend this dental practice and it fully deserves the 5 stars. 16/3/2021 Update after seeing that dreadful review from a patient the practice does not know. I attended yesterday for routine care and had the same highly professional service I always receive . The practice is always very clean and the COVID precautions are extremely thorough. Eg temp taking etc. Far from being a bully Dr George is very kind and takes a lot of time to explain everything and make sure it is understood. I think the mention of a war criminal was absolutely disgraceful and needs to be taken down as soon as possible. It is obviously either an error or a vindictive review . No excuse to use this terminology. Google please take this down! It is totally unacceptable .

Fantastic experience: When I travel to London, I always get my teeth checked and cleaned by George. He gives you a choice of music to play in the earphones, usually Leonard Cohen, Willie Nelson, or Johnny Cash (he has excellent taste in music) and begins his process while you tune out to the music. During the check up, he identified the root causes of my discomfort, and prescribed different solutions from ones I had grown tired of hearing from all other dentists. He also explained everything in great detail. Days after the treatment, I provided some feedback on how I felt, and the same day he fit me in after working hours to assess & did additional very minor adjustments to make sure I was absolutely comfortable. It’s been a bit of a roller coaster following the initial consultation and discussions about the possibilities for treatment.
