Fantastic experience: My teeth look great, Rachel and Sally were really good at making me feel comfortable and not as scared and they didn’t mind when I cried.
Positive experience: The staff are lovely and friendly, talked everything through with my child and his teeth now look lovely. I was a bit dubious with his first appointments as they make parents wait in the waiting room and it isn't(or wasn't) explained why when we started the journey. Also be prepared for some long waits. We have never had an appointment that was on time, always at least 10 mins late, or more often half an hour.

Fantastic experience: The team at mydentist are absolutely wonderful. My son has started his braces journey, has required surgery to expose and remove teeth, then a fixed brace fitted with the aim to pull down hidden teeth and realign as best as possible. My son had his brace fitted 13.11.25 and I just want to commend the three ladies, Nikki, Sophie and Sammy for being absolutely fabulous throughout. Nikki, was a trainee dental nurse who fitted Lucas brace, she was professional, kind and caring throughout. Sammy and Sophie who assisted and offered support were extremely knowledgeable and kind. All three created a stress free environment and they were a pleasure to be around. On every occasion we have visited this dentist we have always been met with a friendly smile and felt welcomed, from the receptionists, to dental nurses, trainees and senior dentists. All mine and my sons questioned have been answered and we have been well informed all the way through. A huge thank you to all the team.

My son had his braces removed last week after 22 months of treatment and we are absolutely delighted with the results. His teeth are now lovely and straight- it has been a complete transformation. He has always received excellent care and Rachel kept me updated about his progress throughout his treatment. The friendly team of nurses and receptionists always work hard to accommodate any requests. My daughter currently has braces too- she is six months into her treatment and we can see such a difference already. The team also transformed my teeth five years ago, so I knew my children were in safe hands. Thank you for giving us all a smile we can be proud of. I would highly recommend the practice for anyone considering dental treatment; whether it’s NHS or private.

Positive experience: Been incredibly happy with the quality of the treatment and scheduling flexibility. We received very thorough and clear advice at the start. My son's teeth look amazing and he seems to have been treated in a friendly respectful manner throughout. I also found the staff very pleasant to deal with. My only complaint is that sometimes the practice can be really, really hard to get in touch with by phone (I was once in a phone queue for 2 hours), hence the four stars but if you leave a message they will get back to you usually.

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely delighted to say that I took the plunge and entrusted Beverley Orthodonics to straighten my teeth using a fixed brace appliance (top and bottom). I had a consultation with a lovely lady, Dr Sally Alwan, who carefully explained everything to me regarding my different options and the results that would be achieved. I had time to think if I wanted to proceed and I wasn’t rushed into making any rash decisions. I really trusted all the valuable advice and information given to me. I was a little nervous about starting a treatment like this, but I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever. I can only say, if you are wondering if it’s worth perfecting your smile and enhancing your confidence, then it most definitely is! I was given the option to pay in full for my treatment or to pay in instalments, and spread the cost across the time of the treatment, which I did. Every member of staff that I came into contact with were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I was always made to feel at ease during every visit and during my visits, everything was always explained to me so I knew what was happening and what was coming next. Before starting the treatment, I carefully looked at Orthodontic work performed by other local Orthodontic Dentists in our area of East Yorkshire and it's safe to say that Dr Sally Alwan is definitely the leader in this field of expertise. I cannot thank her and her team enough for enabling me to smile with absolute confidence. I would definitely recommend Dr Sally in a heartbeat, she is amazing and I am extremely grateful, especially for her attention to detail and care.

Negative experience: On the 11.07.2024 at 1446Hrs I called the reception team to see if the 1620Hrs appointment was still available. However I was in the queue for such a long time that the appointment time came and went, please note at the start of the call I was 5th in the queue. I remained in the queue however as I needed to change the booking offered on the 19.07.2024. After being in the queue for an excess of 3Hrs I decided to drive from my home to the dentist. After 3Hrs and 42mins and being number 1 for around 1Hr or more, I walk into the receptionist sat ignoring the phone. I have never felt so disregard or disrespected...it was at this time that I asked her if she was aware I had been in the queue for 3Hrs and 41mins, I showed her my mobile display and then ended the call after 3Hrs and 42mins. At no point in time did she apologise or explain why I was treated this way. I can't help but feel like her actions where discriminating as she could tell already who I was just by the number or accent. Your employee proceeded to say she had checked my VM and called me back still no apology and trying to justify her actions. My daughter’s appointment had been changed and I walk out feel angry at how I had been treated. It was my intention to book in and have my teeth alignment done at the same time as my little girl to make it easier with time management. However after yesterday and how I feel it is clear that you have enough money coming in that my business is not required. In the future please encourage the staff to avoid discrimination/dismissive attitudes as it can have long-term damaging effect on your business and the individuals involved.
