Fantastic experience: Top class dental work - I just had 2 implants fitted, which involved two difficult extractions. The dentist worked way past my alloted appointment time to make sure the implants were in.

Fantastic experience: The staff where very helpful and caring i was very anxious and they put me at ease the new dentist is very nice and caring and I would like to keep her for my future treatment

Negative experience: I was going to synergy for 5 months to get dentures, for whatever reason they couldn't get the fit right, I requested my money back and was told I could get a refund for the top denture but not the bottom ones, so I have got a bottom denture that rubs my gums raw at a cost of £900 and can't wear them, not a good experience and very costly

Negative experience: Shocking, telling me they will ring back and book my appointments for the last week! I played for everything else what was left was to do the bonding, he said he will be able to get it done in the time frame I wanted now they cannot for some reason.

Fantastic experience: I registered with this practice summer 22. I had previously been with a practice for 55 years where where I use to live. The travelling got too much and the prices became too much. I have been very satisfied with the service and treatment received so far at the Adlington practice. I visited on Saturday for a check up and was extremely happy with the clinician/ service i received.10 out 10 .

Positive experience: Great oxyjet clean The radio in the waiting room is way too loud. Understand the need for privacy but volume is unpleasant and uncomfortable

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, was in for a check-up but had part of a filling fall out prior to the appointment, which the Dentist was able to fix on the same day, which saved a trip back.

Fantastic experience: Today at the dentist was one of the best experiences I'd had at a dentist. The dentist really made me feel at ease,the procedure was really good and totally painless. Everything was explained as it was happening and after the procedure I was told exactly what to expect and what I should do. I was very pleased with the result and the dentist who treated me was great.

Positive experience: The dentist who saw my son was very professional, helpful and courteous towards my families needs. The surgery its self was a little dirty on the stairs and corridors, but treatment rooms appeared clean, it did smell bad when we initially walked in to the reception area. The receptionist was rude in her interaction with myself and my husband, he facial expression and tone of voice when talking to us about booking further appointments were unnecessary.

Fantastic experience: Seen on time, dentist very polite, thorough and took the trouble to explain everything. A good experience. Subsequent experience has not been so good. Appointment cancelled twice: now fingers crossed the latest date will go ahead.

Fantastic experience: The dentist we saw was fantastic! He put myself and my children totally at ease. He was professional and friendly and didn't try and suggest work that wasn't needed, which I have had happen with other dentists. I will definitely be asking for him for our next checkup

Fantastic experience: Synergy dental chorley have been nothing but outstanding in every aspect of my treatment plan. I was someone who had a phobia of the dentist from childhood ,probably because I never used to brush my teeth growing up and my mum told me my teeth would be drilled out as a result of that. I'm now 43 and from the age of 18 i only saw a dentist x3 when I had severe pain and needed a filing and x2 teeth removed other than that I had no regular check ups or a registered dentist. The the staff at Synergy dental have been so lovely especially my dentist who has been patient and understanding but most importantly did not judge me. My lovely dentist really cares about giving me healthy and nice looking teeth and I can't thank her enough. Although I still feel anxious I'm alot better and will definately be making sure I have regular check ups for the rest of my life now. Some people just do a job because it pays the bills but my dentist and the team genuinely want to give you the best possible dental care. Thankyou to all who work there that helped facilitate my treatment so far.

Fantastic experience: Recently had a few visits to Synergy in Adlington due to an infected tooth requiring extraction. Every time the team has treated me promptly and professionally. I live quite far out of the area so getting to the Practice is a bit of a drive but in my opinion is 100% worth it

Negative experience: Poor. Poor quality work with failed root canal treatment. Poor communication with any number of commitments not adhered to. Failure to return calls. Late delivery of promised refund.

Negative experience: This is the worst dentist I've ever visited. They promise the world and give you all the reassurances. Then when you've paid, that's where all the professionalism stops. Paid £2700 for treatment of which i paid £500 for a crown that fell off twice and each time they stuck it back on and shaved more off my teeth leaving me in pain. Then when I went back to complain they said I have to pay for a new crown and root canal at my expense. When I tried to escalate the complaint to the branch manager Dan & synergy head office, they just ignore me and theres no way to escalate it over this branch as there all a franchise and under their own rules and no-one to answer to. I've recently managed to join an NHS dentist where I've had further work done to correct what this place has missed

Negative experience: Booked wrong branch by accident (Adlington), no sympathy & just said tough luck deposit lost. They in fact had no bookings during this slot anyway as I was called about a cancellation the day prior and I also checked this morning and they had free slots, so the argument someone else could have had that slot is rubbish. Interestingly the branch I thought I’d booked with said Adlington are very difficult about charging for deposits, implying others aren’t.

Fantastic experience: I have had a full dentures and the procedure was very good going through letting me try them when they were made in wax which did feel quite good but once the dentures were finished they felt very narrow in my mouth and kept pinching my tongue. I feel like I can’t return as it’s just too late to change this problem. Compared to my old dentures there is a big difference in the space across. I’m also having trouble with the bite I have been back for this problem once and the way they used a grinding tool left the denture very rough which I polished out when I got home. I do worry that if the hard point of the denture are ground away then they wear quicker and to avoid this I have just put up with the way they are but the way the bite is at the moment makes the top denture drop at the back which makes them not secure when eating. The staff at Synergy are all very friendly and helpful and I feel it’s my problem for not realising that they were not correct at the time of fitting. I did decide to go and tell them of the problems that I was experiencing and they are making me a new dentures I’m so pleased with the great staff and service I received with synergy Adlington I would highly recommend using them. The second set of dentures has been finished. I was quite pleased when I first tried them in. They were wider and felt a lot better only the top seemed a little prominent, The bottom set seemed too high and close in my mouth which I did say when I was having them fitted. The denture flange, which was pressing on the side of my inside jawbone, caused excruciating pain after a short time of having them in it was so bad that I had to remove them and go back to my old dentures. I returned to explain the problem, and they used a burr bit that removed some of the pressure. I put them back in, and off I went. Within a short period, I attempted to eat, but the pressure on the same spot was too severe to use the bottom set. I decided to see if I could adjust it myself. So, the only thing to do was to take the denture flange up to just above the inside jawbone. When I did this, I was very surprised to discover that the denture base was not even in touch with my gum, making me think that the impression that was taken was not correct. The bottom denture was very unstable. I got a product to do a re-line, but the way it felt was like there was a gap between the denture and my gums. The re-line filled in the void and made the denture secure. I made another appointment to return to show my findings, and the dentist decision was to remove the re-line I had done and to do a soft re-line in the lab. I went back to collect the denture and was asked to go into the bathroom to try it in. I did this, and it did feel like it fits a lot better, but the only problem was that the denture flange was still short, leaving what feels like a void that runs from the front to the back on one side the reline material seems very soft and not happy with the finish also still did not feel correctly in my mouth the bottom denture has been made to high and to close it feels like a wall so my tongue is against it all the time. The price I paid for this service makes me feel very disappointing with the end result.

Positive experience: Asma is lovely and talked me through everything. I have been in so much pain. Just a pity my crown had to come off as it not been on 12 months but infection was underneath.

Fantastic experience: I recently lost a filling that was done last year. I contacted Synergy and was seen the next day. An appointment was then made to replace the filling. This time I was treated by Becky who was absolutely amazing. Like a lot of people I'm fairly nervous when it comes to the dentist. Becky was understanding and calm, explained everything she was doing and how long it was going to take. She has done an amazing job with this filling, taking the time to ensure my bite isn't affected and that everything was in good order. This was all done under warranty. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I am in quite considerable pain and have a difficult issue as am suffering from extreme nerve pain as being treated for issues arising from Long Covid. Yesterday following a planned visit I was attended to with great care and expertise by Rebecca, dental therapist, and the dentist, Asma. Rebecca means, commitment and Asma means exalted one so was in good hands as my sensitivity is off the scale and dental issues directly affect mental issues, I was made to feel I mattered and was listened to. Yes I would recommend Synergy.
