Fantastic experience: After lots and lots and lots of research and some great communication (over email and on the phone) we took the plunge and travelled two and a half hours (twice) to see Kiran Shankla for Icon treatment for my 12-year-old daughter, and it was absolutely worth every mile. From the moment we arrived at the practice, Kiran was kind, patient, and incredibly gentle. She spoke to my daughter in such a reassuring way that it immediately put both of us at ease. Her professionalism and expertise are clear, but what really stood out was her warm and caring approach - nothing was too much trouble. My daughter felt comfortable and confident throughout her treatment, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she received and the overall results of her teeth. Kiran, you are honestly MAGIC. The staff, from the reception team, to the dental nurses to Kiran herself are amazing! Yes it was expensive, but it was worth every penny... AND that long journey was more than worthwhile to ensure my daughter received the best possible treatment.

Fantastic experience: Staff are always really friendly and kind here, from the lovely reception to the dental staff. I am a very nervous patient, but they take things at a slow pace. Dr. Kiran has lots of new gadgets & tech, and is really gentle when she's working, and her dental nurse is really calming and kind. My hygienist Misha is also lovely. I still get scared, but I do feel like I can actually go regularly as I know they're always kind, and I have been a patient here now for around 18 years I think so wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my root canal treatment at Kendrick View with Dr Joubert, and I cannot be more pleased with both the entire experience and the result. It was by far the best dental care I received to date. Dr Joubert truly exceeded my expectations — he is not only an exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable professional, but also incredibly kind and reassuring throughout the whole process. His calm and attentive manner immediately put me at ease, which made a huge difference for such a delicate procedure. I would also like to mention the lovely nurse, Jane, whose friendly and caring approach helped ensure everything went smoothly. Thanks to both of them, the treatment was comfortable, stress-free, and surprisingly relaxing from start to finish. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome and would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Joubert and the team at Kendrick View to anyone in need of endodontic care.

Fantastic experience: I am an extremely nervous going to the dentist and have been since I was a young child but from the first visit, many years ago, I have been put at ease. From the minute I step into the building the receptionists are so welcoming and friendly to being called by the dental nurse. Actually seeing my Dentist Kiran, is like having a good chat with a friend, He always puts me at ease. I was sad when Mark, my previous dentist "retired" but he made a great choice of Kiran as his replacement.

Fantastic experience: After my son pointed out my protruding front tooth during a video call, I decided to schedule an appointment with Andrew. The welcoming staff helped ease my nerves, and Andrew's thorough consultation revealed that all ten of my teeth were compromised. Following X-rays and 3D scans, I chose to proceed with dental implants for both my upper and lower teeth. During my next appointment, impressions were taken for my dentures. At the following visit, my upper teeth were extracted, and a week later, my lower teeth were removed. Clare provided goody bags for pain management and checked on my recovery, which made me feel well cared for. My dentures were fitted immediately after the extractions, allowing me to smile confidently with healthy-looking teeth. A month later, after my gum tissue had healed, Andrew checked to ensure everything was in order for the implant procedure. At the next appointment, scans were conducted to determine the exact positions for the implants. Once that was decided, I returned for the implant placements, which took place over two weeks for both the upper and lower implants. Both procedures were painless, and the care provided by Andrew and his nurse Claire was exceptional. I also received a care bag and follow-up calls at home. Two weeks later, the stitches were removed, abutments were fitted to the implants, and locators were attached to the dentures. During some of the appointments, Andrew was assisted by an amazing nurse named Jane, who was just as dynamic as Claire. After a six-month healing period, during which the implants fused to the bone, I returned for the final fabrication of the dentures. More scans and impressions were taken to ensure everything was in order, and a few minor adjustments were made. After just over a year, my journey to achieving the smile I had always wanted came to an end. The care from the Kendrick View team, including the reception staff, nursing team Claire and Jane, and Andrew, was absolutely amazing. With all the appointments I had and the outstanding aftercare I received, I feel I got more than I paid for. It has truly changed my life. Since my new smile, I am much more confident in laughing, smiling, and eating. I would highly recommend Andrew and his team if you are considering implants. The team at Kendrick View Dental goes above and beyond to take care of you.

I had to go private because I couldnt find an NHS Dentist and was dreading the cost but I think I made the right choice by coming here - I do feel I get my monies worth. My mouth and teeth have certainly never felt so healthy as they do since being withi them for the last year. My dentist, Andrew, has converted a very nervous patient into a relaxed one and has got my my teeth into a very good condition. He tells me they should see me through! This is helped by regular appointments with Lucy, the wonderful hygienist. Credit also to the nurses and reception staff - it really is a first-class practice.

Negative experience: Great service, probably the best in Reading. Just expensive, £123 for a check up and a few Xrays is a bit of a joke.

Fantastic experience: Great dentists and hygienists. The dentist does a good job of explaining every step of the check up and has very good patient communication. Hygienists are very professional. The practice is in a lovely converted Georgian house; the waiting room is practically a parlour, and the dentist rooms have large wall-sized windows into a rear garden

Fantastic experience: Outstanding - 1. The initial decision to book - I felt very well informed, every staff member knew and adapted to whatever I asked. 2. Parking - plenty! 3. Josephine - mind blown - she is incredibly thorough, gentle, very experienced, precise and I've never had an appointment regarding my teeth & gums like this. I've not had my work done yet but she alleviated deep worries I had, and her very natural aura was warm. I cannot find words to express how happy I felt leaving the practice that day.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ritu Maini at Kendrick View has been my dentist for my entire life with good reason, (and I'm in my late 30s). As a patient who is nervous of any procedures that require anaesthetic injections, I couldn't be in safer hands. I'm always made to feel like I'm in control and frankly, I haven't required any hugely invasive dental work because the care I receive here keeps my teeth in good shape. For anyone debating whether the cost is worth it, I'd ask myself what else that money would be spent on and whether it would really be as important as keeping hold of a good, strong set of teeth. I cannot recommend this dental practise highly enough, my partner also joined ~10 years ago and hasn't looked back either.

When I went for my initial consultation I had low trust because of a previous negative experience with dental care when I was younger! As soon as I came into the room I was made to feel so welcome by Dr Kiran, I was put at ease, everything was explained in depth to me and I was provided a comprehensive treatment plan with all of the costings! Every appointment has been very person centred and the treatments have been well organised with excellent outcomes. I have had several amazing and very informative hygienist appointments with Julie and overall my smile has never been more secure and bright! On the very first appointment Dr Shankla took time to listen & knew exactly what the issue was & referred me to a specialist. Fantastic experience: Was very anxious about the tooth extraction before the implant, but Dr.Dipesh and his nurse Tasha took such great care of me that I'd return to them again (fingers crossed not too soon!). They changed the music for something relaxing, gave me breaks when I needed them, and talked through everything they did. An extra touch was Tasha gently holding my head and stroking my cheek to distract me. Thank you so much, you both are a real asset to the practice!

Fantastic experience: I have recently had a treatment with Dr McDonnell, which was highly professional in discussing an action plan and the treatment I was about to have. I had a crown done which was painless and quick and so happy with the final result.

Fantastic experience: I am delighted with my dental implants! Having had three back teeth removed last year, I was struggling to chew properly and finding eating generally less satisfying. Having discussed my options with Dipesh, I decided to go for implants at Kendrick Dental Practice. It has taken about 4 months and several appointments. I was worried about how much it would hurt - it was all manageable and not as painful as having the original teeth removed! Dipesh and his superb team are professional, friendly, informative and reassuringly excellent at everything they do. I would thoroughly recommend them and indeed would return to them to have further implants myself. Implants are a big financial commitment but I hope they will last me at least 15 years - I plan to look after them. They look amazingly real and are very comfortable - I can eat properly again and am very happy with the results. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I discovered this dental practice after my previous implant company 'finest dental' went bust , leaving much of the ongoing implant treatment incomplete. So far the service at kendrick view under Andrew McDonald and his assistant Jane, has been consistent with the highest of professional standards and although a small fraction more expensive than other private dentists has actually been much better value. It is fair to say that Andrew has saved my implants, saved me a considerable amount of money and spared me much anxiety. I have also had very professional service at the hands of the hygeinist Sammie and dentist Johann but all delivered in a relaxed and informal atmostphere that has made me feel at home from the start. I am very pleased with my new clip on prosthesis which has been made with a seemless almost 'tooth whisperer' approach. I can thoroughly recommend this practice to anyone. Richard Worrall

Josephine is an excellent periodontist and Sammie is a professional and experienced hygienist, with them I got good advice and thoroughly cleaning to my teeth and gum.
