Positive experience: Always friendly and a calm atmosphere which is good for a nervous patient like me. Many visits over about 18 months as I needed a lot of work having not been to the dentist for quite a few years. Mostly well organised although a couple of admin blips. Hygienist, Sophie, is excellent.

Fantastic experience: I came to Jiva for a toothed extraction as this was the only place I could find that did sedation. I'm so glad I did, it was such a smooth experience and Dr Bob is extremely in-tune with his patients, particularly when it comes to dental phobia. I've been coming back to the clinic since then. Having a team that actually care about your dental wellbeing is very comforting. Prevention of serious dental problems seems to be their ethos, so it's good to have the 6 monthly checkups (even being chased to do the 1-ce a year checkup is great to a forgetful person like myself).

Negative experience: The worst place ever visited They made my bruxism gets even worse as they said after an Invisalign treatment I won't need to use it anymore, and they always seem like the only thing they want from people is the money, such a rubbish clinic, I don't recommend it at all

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Jiva Dental for well over a decade. I first chose Dr Bob as I was terrified of dentists/dental work and he seemed to specialise in nervous patients. I now refuse go anywhere else (despite moving to the other side of London!). I’m less nervous now but still have a wobble every now and then… so it’s great having a dentist I can tell that to. He’s so fast - like, lightening quick - which is exactly what I want! I’ve also done Invisalign and whitening at Jiva Dental and both treatments were successful. A definite 5* recommendation.

Positive experience: I've been a patient here for many years, and have had no complaints, but today was my last visit. Jiva Dental have changed their payment policy and now require FULL payment in ADVANCE of your next appointment, which in my case would have been in four months time, 0ctober 2025. I draw the line at that.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Invisalign experience with Dr. Bob and team, from initial consultation through to finished results. The change to my smile required minimum effort, and was hassle free, but has made a significant difference to my confidence - I feel in a better place aesthetically and from the perspective of my dental health. Everything was explained in great detail to ensure I was comfortable with the process throughout. I only wish I’d been on the journey sooner!

Negative experience: I generally don’t leave bad reviews, and this isn’t meant to be a bad review. But it was very disappointing when I had to go in twice for a scan twice even though they tried to be accommodating but despite that it was to no avail. I’d email them, they’d take days to respond or wouldn’t which would result in me calling them and asking for a solution. The problem isn’t the fact they didn’t try to help; I went in February and it’s may now and I had to resort to going somewhere else and got it done, i paid again for the same thing that could’ve been done at one place and could’ve saved me all the time and money that was wasted.

Fantastic experience: I have a long history of being a vey nervous paitient who also suffers with an anxiety condition. Since meeting Bob at his wonderful clinic I have become so much better with dental appiontments. The whole place oozes calm and tranqiulity that zen atmosphere from the moment you enter the reception room had a big impact on me instantly calming my nerves. Bob has proved to be the best dentist I have ever met, his work is excellent, his ease of way and the time he takes to explain my dental plan to me showing me photo's of works that need to be done, it truly is a tailored experience. And in all my years of having bad experiences with dental visits I have finally found my for ever Dentist. The staff are lovely to friendly and caring in the way they greet you when you arrive.

Fantastic experience: After over a decade of receiving excellent dental care, I have unfortunately had to say goodbye (for now) to the team at JIVA Dental. The team led by Dr Bob have really looked after me over the years, everything from routine dental care to teeth straightening and composite bonding. Whenever I needed an urgent appointment to address a dental emergency, they were always able to fit me in ASAP. Wishing the team all the best for the future.

Fantastic experience: Great dental care over a number of years. Bob always explains things well, gives different options for care/treatment, and work is meticulous and of high quality. The hygienist has really helped me get on top of day to day dental hygiene, and all the staff contribute to a relaxed atmosphere. My teeth and gums are in a much better shape than they were 5 years ago. Recommend for both general and cosmetic dentistry.

Negative experience: I would like to say that a few years ago I went to this clinic and it was expensive however seems ok to what I wanted so I decided to have my treatments by them however this year I went back for new treatments things changed to a really bad approach from doctors to receptionists Not polite at all so not being polite you can't expect good environment I asked if I had to pay consultation as I was going to pay for expensive treatments the doctor called Bob said to me that they are no charity and they do not work for free I did not ask forb free treatment I just made a point of view I have been to another places and they don't charge consultation if you are going for treatment end of story I did pay £180 for the consultation, a rubish xray and to adjust a implant that was loosen that at the end of the day was the same way as it was before so I did waste my money to pay a man that preached on me without knowing me I did not go to their clinic to get advice I needed some job done and that was the purpose so I don't recommend this clinic to anybody because I know that being to any kind of medical treatments are stressful and full vulnerable so you don't need lack of respect and be treated like trash and the worst overpay to be in this position DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT . I still have some more to add to this review besides keeping all I said above about having paid and overcharged for the implant adjustment early morning that was loosen by the end the day so the job was so badly done that now the filling that was taken off and then refilled again to tight the screw to it came off just one month late one implant that I did a few years ago with this people this doctor does not deserve my respect at all I have done nothing wrong to be treated like this keep in mind when booking service to Dr. bob he has such a luck of manner to deal with the customer not seeing this person ever in my life I had enough

Fantastic experience: I just completed a full mouth rehabilitation at Jiva Dental. It started about a year ago when my enamel was too warn-down and my teeth were rapidly degrading. I had Invisalign alignment over 9 months to help minimise wear, and then had all teeth modelled and restored with composite bonding to build-up surface for the longer-term. I am now all done and just collected my night retainers to keep teeth in position. Having poor teeth, I have been to many dentists over the years but Jiva have really helped me understand my problems and provided robust long-term solutions. I have since changed my perspective on good oral care, and I am thankful to them for that. The team are professional and friendly, and clearly enjoy their work, with passion and energy. I highly recommend them based on my experience!

Everyone there is warm and welcoming, which put me at ease as I hadn't been to the dentist for many years! Dr. Bob is truly exceptional at what he does. He took the time to explain every step of the procedure, making sure I was comfortable and informed. His gentle approach and attention to detail made what could have been a stressful visit completely stress-free. I appreciated how he listened to my concerns and provided clear, thoughtful answers to all my questions. The entire team, from the hygienists to the reception staff, displayed the same level of care and dedication. They were efficient, friendly, and made sure I felt well taken care of from the start to the finish of all of my treatments (I've had wisdom teeth removed, root canal, Invisalign and finally composite bonding and look like a new man!) I can't recommend Jiva Dental enough.

From the beginning he explained everything very clearly and really provided a first class treatment - I’m so happy with my results and my smile! The practice was always very responsive by email and whenever I called them, and were always more than willing to provide guidance and help if I had any questions. Negative experience: Jivas charges are off putting. I decided to go with another dentist. They kept charging me an extra £15 for both my appointments when I arrived at th surgery. I paid in full for my hygienist £105 over the phone then the receptionist said I had to pay £15. I was not happy about this as I was not told about any extra cherges. Also it was expensive as it is. I went on to booked a consultation session to straighten my teeth and they charged me another £15 at the reception. AGAIN! I will never use them or recommend them to anybody. This is a reply to your response. This is about principle! My issue is with extra charges being sprung on me two times after I was made to believe I paid in full. This is bad practice and after it happened a second time, I decided to go with another surgery for my peace of mind. Unfortunately, the impression I got is that I would continued to pay hidden charges if I continued.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Jiva Dental. All the staff were very knowledgeable and tentative and explained to me the whole process of my treatments thoroughly. I have already arranged my check-up appointments and would recommend them to anyone looking for a dental clinic in Kingston upon Thames.

Negative experience: I had a RCT (Root Canal Treatment) in February, 2023. They failed and messed up my tooth. They do not have enough knowledge, skills and experience for the treatment, and extremely expensive comparing with any other local dentists. They could not solve this problem on their own, did not do any effort to sort it out, and did not refer me to the specialist. They just kicked me out of the surgery without any medicine or antibiotics. They tried to keep the failure of the RCT as a secret, and the lack of the after care does seem so unprofessional, also they are racists. The worst dentists and poor dental service I have ever had.

Fantastic experience: A pleasant and professional experience during my treatment at Jiva. I researched Jiva and had a couple of consultations to ask what I wanted for my teeth and best treatment route. Started with a general check up and receiving a dental plan and financial options. After I went away to research other options to make sure I was making the right decision. I was not forced or pressured into taking the treatment, my dentist Bob and staff member Iwona gave me space to decide. Once I was happy and ready I contacted Jiva as I saw them the best fit. Bob allowed me to make slight adjustments on my treatment plan. The entire process was friendly, treatments throughout were explained thoroughly. No pain during procedures and care was taken during making me feel comfortable and safe. I am very happy with the first stage of repairs on my teeth and will be coming back here when I am ready to continue the next stage of work I want done.

Fantastic experience: I was unsure about use Invisalign as I’m nearly 40, I started to research and look options, finally I met Bob, he was so kind and explained patiently as English is not my first language. I had my fillers since I was 7 years old it were made with amalgam. Bob removed them and put white fillers then I started my Invisalign treatment. In 3 months no just me, everyone noticed the difference in my smile!! I’m so happy and confident by myself!!!! I took it for granted that my smile would never change and I was wrong definitely. Fantastic experience: my experience with Jiva Dental is first class. over the years i had problems with my teeth !! i had lost a few of my top teeth and it really made me feel very down,i needed to do something about it so i researched dental practice online about having dental implants. I came across Jiva dental practice with very good reviews and close to where i lived !! so i made an appointment for a consultation . I met Bob on the day of my consultation he asked what my concerns where with my teeth so i explained , he then went on to explain what options i had .I went away feeling very relaxed and happy that something could be done.I made an appointment to start my journey on getting my smile back and not feel embarrassed about showing my teeth. first stage was to have ex-rays to see what was going on underneath my gum sadly the bone had receded ,i knew that i would loose more upper teeth this is when i decided to have Dental implants which was going to consist of removing the rest of my upper teeth and having 4 implants and then a fitted Bridge .I had consultation with the dental implant surgeon called Ian to make sure i was able to have implants ? i was pleased when he said i could. Before this i had 2 crowns put onto my bottom back teeth as i had cracks in them plus i had root canal treatment on one of them ,never felt a thing what was happening and my back teeth where much stronger under pressure now. The day arrived for my upper teeth to be removed and the implants to be inserted,i was put to sleep before i knew it was all over i didn't feel a thing.Ian the implant surgeon explained that he had to cover my implants with my gum so they had a better chance of the bone setting around the implant so i had stitches around my gum for about a week and no teeth but i had taken a week off work for this it was only about 5 days before i got my Denture to put in so i was able to eat near enough what i wanted, it didn't take long before i forgot i had a denture in during the day the only time i took it out was at night time or when i had a check up. They day came when my implants where ready to be exposed,yet again didn't feel anything that Bob was doing ,i am another step closer to my goal .Next stage Bob made impression to be sent of for a temporary bridge to make sure it fitted to the implants and gum correctly and the teeth where in the correct position .I decided to have porcelain teeth fused to metal ,fully fixed milled precisioned implant supported bridge ,as i wanted them to look natural teeth .I had a couple of fittings but the day arrived i was getting my supported bridge.Bob fitted it to my implants and it didn't hurt at all ,looked in the mirror and WOW they looked so natural and felt like my own teeth .I am able to eat what ever i want to now and smile and not feel embarrassed about them .i have got so many complements by people how lovely and natural my teeth look .I did look at going abroad to have them done as you read its cheaper and you can get it done in a day !! i am so happy i didn't take that root . I think to get the best care and Dental implants or any other dental concern i highly recommend to have a consultation with Bob before making the decision . Thank you so much Bob and the team at Jiva one giving me my smile back and giving me the best dental treatment ever .

Fantastic experience: I went to Jiva Dental for Invisalign. My treatment lasted almost 1 year and a half and throughout all this time Dr. Bob and all the staff at the practice have been amazing. The service was fast and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the results! I recommend it to anyone. Fantastic experience: I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but given that the only reason I chose Jiva dental was based on other reviews I felt it important to share my experience. I have always been a very nervous patient, often putting off going to even a check up due to not wanting to have any work done. I can genuinely say that having experienced Dr Bob and his team - and how not only welcoming, but empathetic they were - I no longer have the dreaded fear that going to the dentist used to give me. I'd never experienced IV sedation before, and doubted if it would 'work'...I had a lot of work to be done, so took the plunge...and not only was it completely pain free, I don't really remember much of the 2+ hours I was in the chair (I think I even fell asleep at one point!). I would highly recommend Jiva to anyone who is nervous at all about the experience of a dentist visit. Unlike all other practices I've been to (there's been a few to try and find one that can handle my anxiety) they took the time to listen, let me feel like I was in control at every step, and never judged me for the way I felt (and there were lots of tears at first!). I can't thank Dr Bob and his team enough for changing my mindset on future trips to their practice.

Negative experience: Adequate, not fantastic dental care. Didn't send my records when I requested them and I had to chase them when I realized they are a total rip off. I had a full checkup and hygienist appointment, and a simple molar filling there which cost hundreds of pounds, needless to say their price list is misleading. At a later date asked about crown repair and just to look at it for 5 seconds they wanted £54. A full examination was not needed, I just wanted to know what was possible ahead of detailed x-rays etc. They actually just want to sell you on Invisalign just like every other scam dentist. Not a quality dentist you can go to for real dental work at a fair transparent price.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience with Jiva Dental in Kingston - ( now there’s a statement I never thought I could possibly make about the dentist :) ). I had a few fillings and a wisdom tooth extraction Dr Bob & Dr Teuta were brilliant . I highly recommend Jiva especially to anyone who has any dental anxiety. The whole team right from reception are friendly, caring and very professional - loved the zen ambience and soothing music played throughout really helps to calm the nerves!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Jiva Dental. They were by far the best at managing my dentist anxiety and putting me at ease. I had some bad experiences in the past so I am generally anxious and very wary of any pain but they managed those aspects very well, always making me feel safe and with some level of control. They were also transparent with the costs with an initial assessment, so I knew where I stood from the beginning and I was informed when there were slight changes. I had IV sedation for an extraction that I was very anxious about and it couldn't have gone better! I would certainly recommend and will continue using their services.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Dr Bob and the rest of the team. I had quite alot of treatment - fillings, composite bonding and at home whitening - all within the space of 3 months for my wedding and i'm thrilled with the results. I was on a very tight timescale and Grace on reception moved things around to fit me in! I'd had a previous bad filling at another practice (not in Kingston) so was understandably nervous. Dr Bob is so friendly, really personable and took time to go through the treatment plan explaining what he'd recommend. During the treatment he always stopped to say what was coming next which I really appreciated. The practice isn't cheap but 100% worth it. Thank you Dr Bob and team!

Fantastic experience: I've never been a fan of going to the dentist and I don't think I would have believed anyone who told me otherwise before going to Jiva Dental. I'd avoided dental appointments for over 9 years before finally biting the bullet, naturally there was a lot of work to be done (12 fillings and a small cap). I had four appointments, cleaning, 6 fillings, 6 more fillings and the cap, each time I was more at ease than the last and by the last one I wasn't worried at all. Couldn't recommend them more, if you're nervous like I was you can get conscious sedation which makes it even easier, the team are so friendly and careful it was worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: I had not received any dental treatment for forty years! I had an absolute phobia of dentists and everything to do with them. I contacted Jiva with my concerns and they were very reassuring. The dentist was honest about the treatment I needed but reassuring that what they did would be effective. As I was needing substantial treatment, I elected for IV sedation as I didn't think I could cope both physically and mentally with around three or four hours of treatment. Again, the procedure was explained and the reassurance I received from Dr. Bob, Georgia and the Receptionists enabled me to take the massive plunge. Everything they told me was completely true and accurate; I had zero pain and zero anxiety once the treatments began and walked out in astonishment 2 hours later. I returned one week later to complete the treatment. By this time my anxiety which had been at 10 was down to 2! The treatment went perfectly again, I had zero pain (not even 1%) and once the treatment began I was in another world. There was no stress, no feeling of panic and no trauma. The actual treatment was amazing and very effective. My dental health has massively improved and I feel much better both physically and mentally. Will I go back? Yes! Absolutely. I am happy to go back having been given a second chance to have good dental health and being grateful that Dr. Bob & his team really care about their patients and did a great job with me. I would be happy to speak to anyone who had a phobia to assure them that this is the place to come to for help, care and reassurance.

It’s a really comfortable environment especially for people that might struggle with dentists as they make you feel as at ease and as relaxed as possible. Bob and the whole team are wonderful and welcoming and after trying a few dentist around the Kingston/Hampton Wick area previously, I wouldn’t want to be elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: After having problems with a crown done by another dentist, I contacted Jiva Dental to take a look based on their glowing reviews and obviously not feeling too confident going back to the first place again. From start to finish, the entire team were utterly incredible. The practice itself looked great. All staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. But more importantly, the dentist Bob took considerable time to sit down and discuss all my concerns and explain the 'why' behind each step going forward. He showed me photos of where the first crown went wrong, went through my options, and explained how they would use additional tools to get a tighter impression for the new crown. They also made contingencies in case the crown wasn't right for any reason, but thankfully it was great. Despite needing to have a whole new crown again, the relief of having all my issues confidently sorted this time around with Jiva definitely outweighed everything else. Truly world-class service. Fantastic experience: After just finishing my Invisalign treatment with Jiva Dental, I can't recommend them highly enough. I had almost a year's worth of retainers, so had multiple trips to the practice and Bob and his team were so professional during each visit. Fantastic experience: I was sceptical about using the Invisalign treatment at first, however JivaDental made the process so easy from start to finish. From the minute I first walked in everyone at the practise was so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable as I began the treatment, with Dr Bhamra explaining how the entire process would work in a simple way which helped me to understand exactly what to expect. All I had to do from there was turn up to my appointments and follow the guidelines given to me in regards to my aligners, and JivaDental dealt with everything else with no problems. Fantastic experience: It may sound unusual to say that going to the dentist has been lovely, but it has! I've had a lot of work done by Bob and the team. I started off a couple years ago, needing some remedial work ... it had been far too long since I had seen a dentist, mainly because I hated it. At least I used to hate it, but no more. I've now also had an implant and some crowns done, and all the treatments, even the more substantial ones, were free of discomfort. Really! It's all gone very well and my teeth look fabulous. I am very happy, and I even look forward to going to the dentist. So that's quite a change for me, a positive one. If you hate going to the dentist, visit Jiva. Tell them your concerns, and they will provide a treatment you're comfortable with. Really!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Jiva Dental from start to finish and I am extremely happy with my new smile :-D. The receptionist, Jenna, was always super warm, professional and friendly and made me feel calm on treatment days. Jess, the dental nurse, did a fantastic job of assisting Dr Bob during my treatments and never failed to make me chuckle, making sitting in a dentist chair a lot easier! Invisalign are great as my biggest fear was what would they look like . I was happy that they were less visable than the normal braces . Fantastic experience: The old saying is "No Pain No Gain". However Jiva has rewritten the rule book and now delivers "No Pain with Spectacular Gain". My anxiety of dentists resulted in major dental problems including only large teeth stumps either side of the two front teeth, severe gum disease and cavaties. Over a relatively short period I had gum cleansing, root canals and temporary crowns giving me a fabulous set of teeth with which to smile. Within another short period I had permanent crowns. All of this was achieved in a completely painless way using sedation. While being awake I felt completely at ease and no pain. All the staff were fabulous putting me completely at ease. During the process I was trained in how to correctly brush my teeth to ensure my gums continued to improve. A recent checkup showed that the health of my gums were continuing to show major improvement. All this was achieved by the Jiva Team. Thank you very much John Faulkner.

Fantastic experience: Having avoided the dentist for some 10 years I was eventually persuaded to visit Jiva by my partner after her excellent experience. The online reviews were also great so I thought why not, I was very much overdue having had painful root canal when younger I was very nervous of letting anyone in to have a look, and I knew I needed work done, which made delaying it worse. I linked going to the dentist to shooting pain in my teeth, prodding, poking and drilling. My experience was refreshing.... The people are what make Jiva, ever since my first visit a year ago I’ve always been greeted with a smile and treated with great respect and kindness. Dr Bob has an excellent caring method when it comes to dentistry and it is very clear he and his team have very high professional standards. I was made at ease and kept informed throughout each step during examinations and treatments and was handled with great care! He gained my confidence in order to perform 3 fillings, an extraction and subsequent implant (with the partner dentist) and crown fitting. I was kept in control at all times as to what I’d like done to my mouth. During the most daunting procedure, which I found to be the tooth extraction I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing. When it came to the implant, a surgical procedure with drilling, I felt a lot less anxious and nervous and quite at ease in fact as I knew I was in good hands. I’m now no longer dreading that next visit, in fact I enjoy visiting the team at Jiva and regularly visit the hygienist in between checkups now I have regained pride in my teeth. The customer service out of the dentist chair is also brilliant. It’s always great to have a chat with the team, I’m always kept up to date with my appointments, and have found Jiva to be flexible to changes due to my non routine work life. I thoroughly recommend Jiva to anyone and have referred work colleagues and friends as I’m confident they’ll receive the same great customer service and care as I do.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Bob and the team at Jiva Dental. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and professional. More recently we have turned to Jiva for Invisalign for our son instead of the traditional metal braces offered by orthodontists. He was particularly impressed with the laser scanner instead of having to take a mould of his teeth. Bob clearly explained the Invisalign process and we are not only amazed and pleased with the results, but how quickly it was achieved.

Negative experience: I was looking for a dental service in Kingston today, and realised that Jiva has a very high rating here and it's quite surprising, since I had a very negative experience. I had an appointment at Jiva in January last year. Nothing was wrong with the receptionist as somebody mentioned here, but the hygienist was not great at all. I felt very uncomfortable sitting in the chair with lots water and blood in my mouth, and the lady was telling me this is normal. I'm sure it was not normal, as it was not a first time a hygienist was removing a dental calculus for me. Then she didn't complete it, saying there is too much of dental calculus there and I need to come again later, so it finished halfway through (luckily!). The gums were itching for the next few weeks or so. It was the worst dental experience I had. Hopefully, the hygienist is rather changed or improved since my last visit. Otherwise be careful coming there. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Update: 12/01/2019 Thanks for your response, but I'm disappointed even more, since you try to convince me that it was OK, however it wasn't. This is very annoying, so I reduce my rating even lower. I did very same procedure in various places in the UK and overseas. Normally, it takes less than 30 minutes and can be completed without drama, since it's a very simple thing. My gums were damaged and the procedure was not finished, and please don't tell me it's normal to have that feeling after the procedure, as I did the same procedure 10+ times and never had that bad feeling before. In the end, other than having my gums damaged, I wasted time and money and end up fixing it somewhere else where it went ok. Clearly I won't come to your clinic again, and do not recommend others to have a similar experience as I had. Regards, Alex
