Fantastic experience: Went as emergency nhs patient im a very nervous patient and that's putting it mildly but the dentist i saw was lovely didn't rush me just very good all round experience

Fantastic experience: I needed an urgent extraction and was referred to Pennyblack Dental by NHS 111. An appointment was arranged within an hour. The dental practice is very clean, very well arranged .. with modern minimalist styling. The treatment was very straightforward and successful. I experienced little pain (except the local anaesthetic injections). The treatment took around 20 minutes and was inexpensive. The female dentist and her assistant were both extremely pleasant, courteous and approachable. I had a couple of questions which were answered straightforwardly and in an understanding, sympathetic manner. I was required to register with Pennyblack before the treatment.. which I completed online via my iPad while waiting for the treatment. There was a little, understandable delay between the arranged appointment time and the actual treatment.. which caused me no problems. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Pennyblack Dental. A first rate, clean, efficient and thoroughly sympathetic service.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Khan for years and he always takes his time to check your ok and explain everything. I had 2 fillings yesterday and was a little nervous about the injections and he was very gentle and it was much better than i thought it would be. Lovely dentist thankyou again

Fantastic experience: Turned up for my appointment and was seen straight away, all staff were very pleasent and polite. I was told what was happening at this visit as usual and a further checkup in 6 months was arranged.

Since I've been with Dr Khan my fear and nervousness of the dentist has disappeared, The Staff are also lovely and they create such a friendly calming atmosphere . Fantastic experience: I have been looked after by Dr Khan for almost 20 years. I have the utmost confidence in both him and the practice - everything is explained fully, if any treatment is required over and above a normal checkup then every X-ray, step etc is explained as well as what is required. All of the staff are friendly and professional and it doesn’t feel like the dreaded dentist when you visit! My elderly father has recently transferred to Mr Khans care and he is thrilled to finally be receiving 5* care for his teeth without the hard sell and appalling treatment he was receiving at his previous practice.

At nearly 60 yrs old my teeth are obviously suffering and don’t look their best but she has not only managed to fix my problems but also rejuvenate them to look better than they have for over 20 years . . Fantastic experience: Dr Claire is a brilliant dentist. She is calm and friendly and spends the time to thoroughly examine, clean and polish your teeth. She gives great advice and provides the checkup on the NHS with optional for a polish on top of the scale and clean! Highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Claire for several years now, and I can honestly say she’s the best dentist I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk into the practice, you’re greeted by a warm and welcoming team. Dr. Claire is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to explain any procedure/treatment in detail, which really puts me at ease. Her attention to detail and gentle approach make every visit as comfortable as possible. I always leave feeling well taken care of and confident in the care I’ve received.

Fantastic experience: I undertook a course of treatment using Invisalign to straighten my teeth. Clare, my dentist was absolutely brilliant. Everything was clearly explained and carried out. Only 5 months later I have lovely straight teeth, and now feel confident smiling and having photos taken. The results are fantastic!

Dr Khan talked me through things and within a very short-time I was anaesthetised and once numb the teeth were removed and I felt absolutely nothing. Dr Khan should get a dentist of the year award. Fantastic experience: Good service at this dentist. I had a general checkup and then the dentist did a basic clean to remove plaque. General advice given to prevent build up of plaque in the future, and a recommendation to book next appointment in 6 months time. Would recommend if you are looking for a dentist.

Fantastic experience: Just cycled back home from Pennyblack on a glorious summer day. Was looked after very well by Mr Khan and his team, as usual. Cleaned and polished, I am now good to go for another six months. It will be 2025 when I next visit! My gnashers are in good hands!

She's professional but gentle and gets the job done quickly. She's simply the best! The staff are also friendly and I like that you can send them messages via WhatsApp and have them action it.

Fantastic experience: I visited Pennyblack Dental today for the first time, I saw Dr Mehnaz Khan and her Dental Nurse (I didn't get her name) but...... they were amazing. I am quite nervous as a lot of people going to the dentist are but can honestly say from going through the door to coming away - brilliant experience. Dr Khan didn't rush me and explained everything before she continued. I asked for advice on further treatments which she explained clearly but I didn't feel I was being pushed into anything, in fact, she told me to go away and have a think before deciding. It's a wonderful dentists and I am mortified the NHS funding has been cut so we can no longer be seen under the NHS. I have just been to this dentist for the first time. It definitely lives upto its amazing reputation. I have never had such a calming, caring dentist. All the staff were lovely. So happy I am now a patient here. Worlds apart from my previous dentist. Just taken 2 of my children to their first appointment here. So impressed. Outstanding care. Mr Khan really takes his time and explains everything. All the staff were lovely and friendly.
