Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for 48 years and the service has always been excellent. I got an emergency appointment yesterday and thank you to DR Khan for resolving my issue, Brilliant as always.

Fantastic experience: The Maltings is a friendly welcoming place. The staff are always welcoming, always try to accommodate any requests for appointments and my own treatment has always been to an excellent standard by Jason Wong. Would certainly recommend this dentist practice for anyone.

Negative experience: One of the receptionists I spoke to was nonchalant about taking her time to make me feel welcome even when I enquired about how to become a registered member as a first time visitor.

Fantastic experience: Today I had a troublesome root taken out after the main tooth broke. Mr Butcher and the lady dental assistant were superb. The gentleman explained everything and the care and attention was brilliant. Once the anaesthetic kicked in I felt nothing. The procedure was quick. They were knowledgeable and caring. It made for a pleasurable stress free experience.

Fantastic experience: Laura did my extraction and it the most painfree extraction I have had. She really put my mind at rest and we even had a good laugh. If you are nervous about going to dentist, I highly recommend going to see Laura.

Fantastic experience: I have always been anxious about visiting dentists as I suffered very poor treatment as a young child. I was referred to this dental practice by my own Dentist in Newark. I needed to have a Wisdom Tooth removed. From the moment I walked into the practice the young ladies behind the desk made me feel welcome and at ease. I was taken by a lovely young Dental Nurse for an Xray, she who was comforting, supportive and talking to me the whole time. I was then taken to see the Oral Surgeon Mrs Marta Bugowska – Clarke and her dental team. They were all very friendly, professional, kind and caring. I could not have had better treatment, being talked to all the way explaining what was to happen next. I would like to give all the staff a gold medal for their reassuring and friendly manner. Fantastic experience: I’ve undergone 30+ weeks of careful Invisilign treatment by Dr Sean Walmsley. The care and attention to detail with Hannah the dental assistant has been incredible. Together they make a brilliant team. I’ve had procedures also and have never felt so calm and confident whilst sat in the dental chair. Cannot recommend this team of two enough. My teeth are repaired, aligned and beautifully white. All my own teeth and given a full renovation, ready for this next phase. Couldn’t be happier. I now regularly get compliments about how straight and white my teeth are!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had to have her wisdom tooth taken out today here. They get a 5 star from us. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and so understanding of my daughter with her special needs and anxiety. Every phone call we had made us feel at ease. Everything was explained to us both, and they made her feel at ease, can't fault this clinic or the staff, a great team makes a great work place. I had to have a tooth extraction and was feeling slightly nervous, but as soon as I walked into the room, their friendliness put me at ease straight away. Fantastic experience: My Dentist is Dr Farah Khan and by far she is the best dentist I’ve ever had. I’m currently going through a treatment plan with her and she takes the time and explains clearly why certain treatments need to be done and has offered advice throughout. This is a massive difference to previous dentists I’ve had just telling me what to do and how much it will cost. I genuinely feel there is a real care for patients at this surgery.

Fantastic experience: Referred here for my wisdom teeth removal from my normal practice. I was seen by Anas and Susie who were so kind and reassuring (I've never had any dentistry work before so was quite nervous about the procedure) and took time to answer all my questions. Anas laid out all the options for me and advised me that I can proceed however I wished. The actual procedure itself took less than five minutes - Anas was so quick and precise, hardly any bleeding, it was all over so quickly. I had a miniscule amount of pain just at the beginning with the injections, but nowhere near what I was expecting. Susie was so encouraging and there if I needed any support throughout. Afterwards, I was taken through what to look out for, what to avoid etc and I was assured that if I had any questions or concerns I just had to call. I couldn't believe how quick and straightforward it was for me (obviously it is case by case per patient). The surgery itself was lovely and two days post op I've received a call to check how I am doing and the lovely lady at reception reiterated that if I need anything at all or have any queries to just let them know. But no issues, no pain or swelling. Cannot recommend enough. Brilliant all the way.

Fantastic experience: Apart from an avoidable mix up with billing, the service and treatment by Dr Farah and her assistant Lucy was exceptional. Very professional whilst considerate and supportive, with me a very nervous patient. Farah and Lucy delivered me through my treatment and the outcome is brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Can't speak more highly of Laura and the team at Maltings. My young son needed 2 teeth out due to shark teeth and those baby teeth were not coming out on their own accord!. He was particularly scared about the procedure, but Laura looked after him really well, reassured him throughout and kept him calm. Recovery after was quick with no effects. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: Had to have an emergency tooth extraction. A very difficult one for them as half of the tooth was missing. Talked me through the whole process as well as all the possible scenarios. X-Ray carried out and again talked me through the process and what they were looking at. The whole procedure took around 20 minutes and despite the anticipated difficulties everything was executed professionally and with compassion. They gave confidence and assurance all the way through. Would highly recommend them... Superb service

Laura and Susie spent around 30 minutes ensuring it was rectified properly, top class treatment from these 2 lovely ladies again! Free of charge aswell as it was within 12 months guarantee

Having received no NHS dental treatment since prior to 2020 (Covid) and regular, but in my opinion poor, NHS care prior to that, I have now been given the very best advise and treatment. Fantastic experience: I recently needed a tooth repairing which I had damaged eating popcorn! Heather was brilliant from start to finish. She was thorough in examination and taking X rays, talking me through all my options. She advised me that replacing the fillings would not be the best solution so I opted for a crown. When I had my treatment, Heather talked me through the whole process and was amazing at keeping me calm throughout the treatment. She is excellent, incredibly gentle and very understanding of any nervousness shown. I am really pleased with the outcome and think The Maltings Dental Practice is amazing. Fantastic experience: I've had treatment from Dr Hatton today which I had delayed for so long due to lifelong fear of dentists, and I can wholeheartedly recommend her and her assistant to anyone who is fearful. She was calming and kind. My treatment didn't hurt and I am so pleased I've finally had it done. I felt ashamed of myself for not going to the dentist regularly and previous dentists have made me feel even more ashamed. Dr Hatton didn't make me feel like that at all. If you are nervous, frightened or ashamed I would thoroughly recommend that you try this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here for a wisdom tooth extraction by my usual dentist. I am a bit of a wuss and hate anything medical where it involves local anaesthetic or anything like that preferring total sensory deprivation. But Dr Jack Stanley and his nurse were absolutely brilliant. Made me feel at ease. We had a laugh (even whilst he was actually extracting my tooth). Brilliant. Cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: My son and I had a consultation with Dr. Farah Khan this week, and she is the most wonderful dentist I have ever had! I am a complex case orthodontically speaking and I found Dr. Khan to be well informed, sympathetic and thorough. Dr. Khan was able to tell me that care information given to me by a dentist at another practice was actually causing damage to our teeth, so we have been able to correct this aspect of our dental care straight away thanks to her. My son is Autistic and has physical disabilities. Dr. Khan was so gentle and kind to him it made the whole visit really lovely for him and he can't wait to come back for a check up! The Dental Nurse was Phoebe, I believe, and she was absolutely brilliant and very welcoming. Reception staff were very helpful and have taken time to explain the costs and also the monthly plan which we will be joining. All in all, a wonderful experience and I am so glad we have this excellent dental practice to rely on. Thankyou Dr Farah Khan and Phoebe.

Fantastic experience: Have been under the care of Dr Sean Walmsley and Hannah for approximately 3 years. Their time and dedication to me as a patient has honestly cured my phobia of the dentist and this allowed me to feel comfortable in their care. As a result, I have since had Invisalign and composite bonding which has now transformed my smile and given me the confidence to smile in photos which I’ve have never had before. Both Sean and Hannah are also really lovely people and would not hesitate in recommending them as the best care around. Thank you both so much for everything you have done for me.

Fantastic experience: I got Botox in the underarms for excessive sweating, after looking around for weeks and struggling to find anyone. I saw that my dentist offered this treatment with Dr Okeoghene Oteri. I would highly recommend this to anyone who feels could benefit from this treatment because it’s the best thing I have ever done !!! Dr Okeoghene Oteri made sure that I knew how the treatment would be carried out, what to expect, what to do after and much more. She was caring, kind and made sure that I was comfortable before doing anything. For someone who gets nervous for appointments, I was actually excited and happy to go. I think the price is extremely great and affordable, I would have paid more for the service simply because of her customer care. Couldn’t recommend this more ! I am now more comfortable and confident within myself, even on hot days knowing I can wear a t shirt and not have to worry about sweat patches, reapplying deodorant and much more.

Fantastic experience: As a very nervous person when visiting the dentist, I have found it so much easier since I have been looked after by the team at the Maltings and Dr Jason Wong. Nothing is too much trouble, he explains everything I need to know and always gives me options for my treatment plans. I neglected my teeth when I was young, on joining the RAF this was the first time I had properly visited a dentist and needed several fillings in the first four months to achieve medical fitness and after leaving I have been at the Maltings some time now. I can highly recommend them and Dr Wong if you are nervous as he is spot on.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction done today by Jack and Suzie from the The Maltings dental Practice and they made me feel so relaxed and comfortable throughout the process which went so quickly and painless, I must say that is was the finest work I ever received and 5 star treatment, a seemless process and such fantastic treatment from both Jack and Suzie and I feel they have both made a massive difference to my health removing the top back tooth that was causing so much grief, Jack removed it in less than a minute (completely painless) and Suzie made sure there was no debris from the tooth and all equipment was setup and in order and Suzies and Jacks aftercare was excellent, I can't thankyou both enough, the reception staff are second to none and very patient and quick to get you booked in or I'd there's a cancellation they will get in touch and get you in sooner. Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to see our Dentist Mary Hutton. She is always happy and we have a laugh whilst in the surgery but she is also very thorough and professional with the examination. Thumbs up to the dental nurse as well who was lovely.

They went out of their way to see my autistic daughter last minute, she suffers from high anxiety, they explained everything every step of the way to her, super patient, and so very kind. They managed to get my daughter to let them extract two teeth without anaesthetic. She came out so happy and her anxiety has definitely been reduced for further dentist check ups.
