Fantastic experience: I narrowly avoided having a load of unnecessary work carried out after my previous NHS dentist was bought out and a new team brought in. They recommended 4 fillings without so much as an X-ray to back up their claims. What they failed to find was the cracked tooth that required a crown repair. I decided a second opinion was needed and booked in at ADP based on their Google reviews. I’m so glad I did. Meetal is a total professional. He explained the issue and what the options were and had me sorted out in no time at all. The whole practice has a lovely family feel. And yes, there were no fillings required. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Today I managed to get myself into this surgery for some emergency work that needed doing.. i was in a lot of pain the receptionist Hayley was very polite kind and caring and was very quick to offer me an appointment. I was very very upset before even entering the facility as I’m not a fan of dentist but from the minute I step through the door everyone made such an effort to make me feel at ease something I really appreciated DR Meetal comforted me throughout the whole experience explained very calmly what work I needed doing no pressure into spending lots of money, took his time, was so very understanding It’s been years since I’ve experienced such a kind caring dentist who clearly loves his job and his patients. Fantastic experience: I have been using this dental practice for 2 years now and my most recent visit was rather special for me after having lots of other work from Route canal, tooth extractions, extensive cleaning it was time to have a bridge tooth Fitted. The results blew me away I left with a very big confident smile.. Every service I receive from these guys is always very professional and of a high standard the team work very well together I don't think I would feel comfortable going elsewhere now.

Fantastic experience: My dad attended the practice this morning to have his crown looked at. I would like to express my appreciation for the care he received. He’s not had a great health run of late, some very poor care experiences and to top it off his crown fell out a couple of days ago- which was another blow for him. However, the care, understanding and reassurance that Meetal showed toward him was exemplary. He was patient, giving explanation and assurance throughout the procedure. For dad to walk away with a newly fitted crown in the one appointment was amazing and truly appreciated. Has set his mind at ease and he is very happy with it. Fantastic experience: If I could rate 10 stars I would. I haven't had any work done there yet but I had check up and advisories with Dr Meetal. From when I made the phone call, the receptionist was 10/10. Polite, very informative and super helpful. The surgery is clean, cosy and professional - with lots of new tech I'd never seen before. Dr Meetal is comforting, accomodating, aware and you can tell he's been doing this a long time as he's very calm and informed. He doesn't suggest any work that you don't need or that he wouldn't advise, doesn't pressure you to make decisions relating to costs and took a lot of time to inform me about my teeth - even letting me see my own x-rays! He let me ask lots of questions regarding lots of things relating to my teeth, and I could tell his answers were all in the best interest of my teeth and smile. When you have an experience like this you can't not leave a review. The experience has made me very excited to go back to get my follow up treatment.

Fantastic experience: We are so very pleased we found Dr Meetal Patel and his lovely staff. We visited for a consultation which involved having an x-ray of our full month using a machine that revolves around your face. Separate x-rays were also taken and Meetal assessed that my husband required a filing and root canal treatment, whilst I required a crown with a bridge. We are both highly delighted with the treatment. My crown and bridge look so natural and all done on the same afternoon as they are made on the premises. Dr Meetal and Charlotte his dental assistant are true professionals. Don’t hesitate to use their services.

Fantastic experience: Registered with Aylsham Dental after not having a dentist for a long time. Tried to get registered at many different dental practices and finally got in here. Got an appointment 1 week after registering, Dr Petal was very welcoming and talked me through everything that he did. I had a few problems that I’d been dealing with for quite a while but was slightly nervous of the dentist and struggling to find one. Dr Patel booked me in for another appointment to go back and have the treatment. I had a root canal and extraction in the same appointment. I was quite nervous but Dr Patel and lovely dental nurse made me feel so relaxed. I didn’t feel a thing and the treatment was over before I knew it. For the first time in months I haven’t been struggling with constant tooth ache. I’m so happy I’ve finally found a dentist I trust and will recommend to anyone looking for a dentist. Fantastic experience: I had an appointment last week for root canal treatment along with other work, i was extremely nervous due to a bad experience with my last dentist that made me feel very self conscious by making comments towards me and not to mention the work was very rushed and i feel caused more damage than good, I made an appointment with dr. patel and lisa to fix this, I was expecting the worst but was instantly greeted with smiles and reassurance that my teeth could be fixed. They were both extremely lovely and made it their priority to make me feel comfortable, i was shocked with how amazing the service was and how dr. Patel was explaining the treatment beforehand and showing me in detail what they were going to do. I had 0 pain and i was always asked how i was doing regularly which was far different from my last dentist experience at another practice, i am so greatful and happy with my experience and it was worth every penny as i can now smile again :) thankyou so much to the both of you and the rest of the staff.

Fantastic experience: About half a year ago I was experiencing a very uncomfortable sensation where my jaw would slide and make a clicking sound every time I tried to chew or bite. It wasn’t painful but very unnerving. Dr Patel suggested that I try sure smile as it would help align my bite whilst also fixing the shape of my teeth. He took a scan of my mouth with the high tech futuristic prime scan machine and showed me how my teeth would move and how long it would take. After the first 24 hours of wearing my first aligner that problem had gone. From then I had 11 different sets of aligners which came with a cleaning kit as well so I could wash them out thoroughly. I also had an attachment on my tooth which matches a groove in the aligner preventing it from slipping. Once I started using the aligners I didn’t have to visit Dr Patel as I would’ve if I’d had braces and to my suprise the aligners did just as good a job as braces. Now that my treatment has finished all I have to do is wear my retainer to bed every night. Thank you Dr Patel for the suggestion and professional treatment I’m very happy with my smile!

Negative experience: I missed a check-up when the school my disabled boys are at closed because of Covid. In response, Aylsham Dental Practise kicked me off their NHS register and said I must become a private patient.

Fantastic experience: After trying a course of antibiotics to stop the pain of the tooth ache, Meetal took the decision that the only option was to remove my wife's wisdom tooth. This is not a decision you take lightly of course and no-one was looking forward to it, in fact Meetal admitted after it was all done and we were chatting that even he was not looking forward to it either. I thought this was an honest and open thing to say, because off course once you start the extraction, there is no going back. My wife did not even notice that Meetal had removed the tooth in the end, we cannot thank him and the team enough for the way they treated us and put us at ease yesterday.

Fantastic experience: Having used Aylsham Dental practice for many years, the new crown making service is very efficient and quick with no waiting for impressions but completely computerised and you can watch your crown being made and is fitted within 40/50 minutes. Quick and painless.

Fantastic experience: I visited Aylsham Dental practice yesterday for a new crown. Amazing technology and Mr Patel explained all about the machine that was creating my crown. It was a pain free experience, and I was fully involved in all aspects of my care. I have been a patient for quite some time now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Mr Patel is always checking to see that you are ok and gives lots of breaks during treatment. The Dental Nurse was also on hand when needed and has a professional approach to patient care. Fantastic experience: We have been dental patients of Meetal for many years, in fact from when he started the practice in Aylsham. He has always provided a first class service, but more than that, he has a calm and reassuring manner that makes even the most anxious patient feel relaxed. My husband, myself and son have had to have various procedures done over the years and these have always been excellent. I have recommended friends to the practice and they have all given him a five star rating and continue to see him, some despite moving to Norwich.

Negative experience: The only reason I gave one star is because I couldn't give none Worst dentist I have ever come across I have read other reviews and they seem to have the same issues if you're NHS patient you're treated with utter contempt. I don't normally vent my views on social media but after the last dealing with them I couldn't contain my anger any longer. My daughter In Law who was previously registered having informed the dentist she had given birth and received free dental care was told "I hope you're not going to be dropping another one of those out any time soon just to get free dental care" she left the surgery in tears and never returned she now has to drive to Fakenham for dental treatment. My son who is on low income and should have received free dental treatment was told having presented with excruciating pain so bad he was unable to sleep "That because he was NHS he'd have to wait months but if he would like to go private and pay £800-00 he could be treated straight away" . My wife was told by a dentist " You know because you're NHS you wont get a good job but if you went private you'll get top class treatment. The last straw they tried to charge my wife for services received by my 14 year old son and when I pointed out he was under 18 and still in full time education and receives free dental care my wife received a letter from the owner removing the whole family from their register. I will be sending a letter to Jerome Mayhew MP the General Dental Council and The British Dental Association. I urge anybody else, and there seem to be many who have been treated in an appalling way to do the same and maybe if we all work together we can get these unscrupulous practises made to change their ways or better still shut down.

Fantastic experience: Getting a tooth out at a dental practice is not fun, let alone on the first visit but Meetal was a true professional throughout. It was exceptionally efficient. The care was first rate and he was even happy to meet me for a follow up out of hours afterwards to put some unwarranted concerns I had to bed. I would 100% recommend the practice to anyone after this experience.

Fantastic experience: Delighted with my recent treatment. I attended Aylsham Dental Practice 16/11/21 to have a crown made and fitted on a broken tooth - my first major dental treatment since before the pandemic. Since Covid started, Meetal has invested in some state of the art equipment that meant that once he'd prepared my tooth to accept a crown, he could scan it, fine tune the data and make the crown there and then. I could even watch the crown being engineered via computer aided design. In just over an hour, after a painless experience, I was walking out of the practice with a new crown - no suffocating impression to be taken, no temporary crown, no two week wait for the crown to be made elsewhere. Once my face had thawed out, everything felt comfortable and I can eat normally again.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional service. From one visit for a broken tooth I had the complete treatment from grinding down the broken tooth to (get this) watching my crown being machined and fitted, all within an hour. Thank you Meetal, you are the best.
