Negative experience: Good dentist but they never answer the phone called over 17 times rings for about 2-3 mins picks up, no-one there and then 30s later hangs up

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Fabio enough for today’s treatment of a rather terrifying front extraction and his methods of comfort and reassurance. He’s restored my faith in dental care being properly given, and the approach of being calm, easing stress and understanding situations to explain everything properly couldn’t have been nicer. Slightly scared when informed if he isn’t in for my next appointment what should be done; I don’t feel comfortable seeing anyone else but him especially when scared of dentists. However, his treatment compassion and care has been beyond brilliant. Update two months later; Receptionists don’t answer phones and I can’t seem to re arrange my appointment or schedule my next clean, after having bacterial tonsillitis and spending 4 hours trying to contact to say I was unable to attend that day as I needed antibiotics. Fabio left, as he expected, and the standard of care has plummeted again. Dental practices need consistency.

Negative experience: Completely wasted my time at this clinic. Came in needing a root canal, expressed that to the dentist and was scheduled to come in. One cancelled appointment later, I come in (after 40 minutes of waiting in the lobby to be seen) only to be told that after all they’re not in fact equipped to do my treatment at the clinic. Could have been told that information weeks ago and saved my time and looked for another dentist, but now my problem has only progressed and it’s gotten worse. Not the friendliest dentist and assistant either. Said dentist also promised to send me recommendations to other nearby clinics which would be able to help me, but still haven’t recieved that either. All in all, don’t go here. There’s better dentists in Lincoln I’m sure.

Negative experience: Young male dentist very unpleasant + Received fillings - all fell out - teeth worse off since joining. Hard to make appointments, dental staff not pleasant and treatment ineffective - I do not recommend. Left this dentist always feeling dismayed, shocked & messed about.

Negative experience: What a shambles have been using them since I moved in 2015, to start with great… but now I have rang 2 days before my appointment to cancel due to unfortunate events left voicemails, and still my appointment hasn’t been cancelled! Rang the day before my appointment at different time of the day over 40 times just to try and get through to someone still nothing , now on the day of my appointment still not heard anything and my appointment time is less then an hours time, but had an email in the middle of the night stating my upcoming appointment, which hasn’t been cancelled… why is it so difficult to get through or for someone to answer the phone!!

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental treatment I’ve had. I’m usually very nervous but in the hands of Neethu and Chaima I need not of worried. I had a deep clean and it was completely painless which normally it’s not and no bleeding which normally it does. The receptionist is so friendly and kind. Seriously I really do hope they keep these members of staff because they are simply the best.

Negative experience: Horrendous practice. 2 fillings put in and all fallen out in a weeks time. If you try to call, good luck because no one will answer and you’ll have to leave a voice message to which they may or may not respond to. Dentists are always off sick or no dentist at the practice. They’ll tell you they’ll get back to you the next day, but they don’t. You come in for an appointment to have a filling put in, which only fell out because of their error as it’s happened twice now, but instead they tell you you’re only there for a check up, when the last two times they were happy to slap a filing in. What are you even doing?

Negative experience: It took my wife, nearly 12 months to get treatment on a broken tooth, after nu erous cancelled appointments by the practice and various exscuses they then gave treatment. After a few weeks my wife explained to me that the repair was not adequate, the practices reply was " oh wait a few weeks for it to settle down " . It never did... plus after paying £300 plus. Now a tooth on the otherside of her mouth has an issue, which im surecwould have been spotted with regular checkups. She has now neen trying to get emergency an appointment three days, and now this morning the practice is SHUT. WHERE ON PLANET EARTH IS THIS GOOD CAREING BUSINESS. IF YOU CANT RUN A BUSINESS..... CLOSE.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist. Never had any issues. The new dental therapist at the practice is brilliant. He explains everything step by step and took time with each of us (family of 4 appointment all together) didn't rush us. He also had great patience and used comedy to put our Autistic son at ease and did it in our son's own time/pace, step by step gaining our son's trust. Thank you.

Negative experience: This used to be a really good dental practice. But since Covid and Brexit it’s been useless. I get they haven’t got the staff, that’s not their fault. But a year ago, I told them I had 2 loose teeth. The dentist wanted to save them. Forward to today, said loose teeth are now worse than ever. One is really forward in my mouth. I’ve not been able to eat really tough chewy foods for the whole year as it hurt when I chew. But now, I can’t even eat soup, I think the nerves are showing now. I’ve rung the practice to be told they were already closed ( Monday 11.50am ) it said they shut from 12-1 for dinner. So tried again thinking they had shut early. Waited until after 1, message had changed, shut from 1-2 for dinner. Rang again after 2. No answer, rang again and left a voice message. By end of business on Monday, nobody had got back to me. They’re just not answering. This morning I finally got through to them. Our dentist is off sick this week, I can’t offer you anything this week. Are you in pain. Yes I am, I can’t even eat as I end up in pain. Ring our sister practice Brant Road, if they can’t get you in ring 111. 5hrs ago I rung Brant road a few times, again not getting answered, finally left a voice message. You can hear in my voice that i can’t even speak properly. Still no call back!!! I tried ringing again, still no answer. Looks like I’ll have to wait until surgery is closed and ring 111. Disgusting, I could starve for all they care!!! I can’t clean my teeth, I’m now struggling to drink. I get that some things aren’t their fault, but it’s not ours either and yet we’re suffering!

Negative experience: Cancelled 2 lots of kids dental checkups & has cancelled every appointment arranged & rearranged by my husband in the past year despite long waits between appointments. 4 appointments cancelled in total. Probably have no teeth left by the time he gets to see the dentist. This practice doesn't care about NHS patients & cancels appointments on them constantly.

Fantastic experience: I am not getting on with my small denture and my dentist took the time to explain 3 ways that I could change to. I really feel she understood how I felt. Our dental practise from the receptionist to the dental nurse are great and our actual dentist is superb.

Negative experience: I had a filling done in Jan 2021 which was constantly painful but was ignored every time I mentioned it. Apparently it was fine. I put up with it until Aug 22 when it chipped and I was told it could be re-filled. It was worse than ever! Totally unbearable. I tried to have it looked at but was never given an appointment because I couldn't be fitted in.So I went to a private dentist who x rayed it and said the filling was touching the nerve. Hence the pain. I eventually got an appointment at Guildhall and related the private visit tale. I was told I could save the tooth by paying private prices around £500 for rootcanal work or have the tooth out. As I can't afford private prices I opted for extraction. It was agony immediately so after 2 days I went back to Guildhall and was told it was fine. The next day I went back to the private dentist in agony to be told it was an infected dry socket which needed treatment and antibiotics. I have emailed Guildhall directors twice but have only received an abrupt phone message from the dentist rather than the director. They clearly do not want to bother with nhs patients. I imagine if I paid privately then treatment would have been different. Avoid this place at all costs. I've lost a tooth that could have been saved and am still in pain over 2 weeks later. I'll be contacting the CQC.

Fantastic experience: I had a recent short notice appointment at the practice as I had chipped a tooth leaving a sharp edge which was catching my tongue. The issue was resolved very quickly by smoothing off the rough edge and the outcome was very satisfactory so pleased with service

Negative experience: It is impossible to speak to someone on the phone to book an appointment. I have rang them on different days at different times for several times and no response. I have left a voicemail, but they never ring back. Reception staff is not great, however, once you get to see the dentist, they are wonderful.

Negative experience: Reception staff are hideous. They lie through their teeth (pun not intentional). Very rude on the phone to me and then put the phone down because I said she was very argumentative towards me. Tried to call back and was ignored. She got stroppy because I refused to change the kids slots to earlier that day. I explained my daughter was doing her gcses and didn't want the appointment disrupting that so couldn't change to an earlier appointment which was understandable. Emailed to complain (Again) with no response. When I got there for the kids appointments I asked to speak to the manager and was rudely told my message would be passed on. Conviently the girl on reception claimed to be the same girl that called me, she was not. She speaks nothing like the one I spoke to. They protect each other, lie about emails being sent and also claim important documents have been misplaced due to the cross over a fews back. My advice would be to get in friendly reception staff, as the dentist for many is an anxious time and having mini bouncers on the front desk do not help matters. Or send them to manners and respectful school. So rude. Once you get past reception and see an actual QUALIFIED professional they are extremely helpful. My children were both impressed by the dentist they saw and his dental nurse. Both friendly and professional. Happy with the dentists themselves but the reception staff are rude and obnoxious.

Positive experience: I have experienced two inspection visits to this practice and have not required treatment so my comments only relate to inspection. The staff have on both occasions been very polite. The dentist on both occasions clearly explained and discussed all aspects giving advice where necessary, and explaining options and probable future treatment that should be kept under review.

Negative experience: Just got off the phone after several times of trying to get through. The dentists here when I've been are lovely. But the receptionists are like chocolate fireguards. The receptionist that took my call today seemed sarcastic and then tried to have a sly dig at me about not making further appointments for my kids, when 1. You can never get through and when you do you pass out with the shock. 2. You never get phonecalls back from leaving answerphone messages, so the answer phone is about as useless as the receptionists. 3. Covid then took place and routine appointments were stopped. 4. When you are lucky enough to get through and make an appointment they cancel the appointment without even telling you. 5. You are told several times your children are on the waiting list to see an orthodontic specialist to be told 4 years later that is was 'rejected' in the same year they were referred and some how that's my fault? She couldn't tell me why it was rejected which is also find bizarre. I rang in early 2018 and again mid 2018 to ask about the waiting list and I got told "they are on the waiting list, it may take 2 to 3 years just be patient". Yet they knew in 2017 it was rejected. They said I'd need to have another appointment to be re referred.

Negative experience: Worst place i ever been.always waiting for your appoitment outside,specially now when its cold.have appoitment at 9 am ,arrived 8.57.waiting outside 15 minutes because they booking me in,and all this time receptionist just drinking starbucks coffee and with smile chatting with nurse

Positive experience: On previous visits pre covid it felt friendlier but due to the backlog/workload its clear youre under pressure as the dentist herself was doing everything as quick as possible & it felt a little gruff. Front desk didnt seem to share the urgency of the dentist though & seemed more lackadaisical. Totally understandable considering how things are & appreciate you still being as good as can be.

Negative experience: This is my second review of this practice and it’s still as bad as it was the last time I went. I had a filling come out during the euros and rung up for an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised that they a) answered the phone b) the receptionist was lovely, really helpful and polite c) I actually got an appointment which wasn’t too far away. I arranged childcare for my baby and attended my appointment to be told that ‘oh we’ve called and left a message to say the appointment has been cancelled’. I can assure you they hadn’t contacted me, this has happened to me numerous times before hence my last review. Livid, I re arranged the appointment for TWO WEEKS later along with check ups for my children. I have just rung to confirm my appointments for today to be told ‘oh we were going to call you as you’ve all been double booked so we need to cancel’. Excuse me?? We need to rebook for another couple of weeks. After getting rather frustrated they said they could squeeze me in for 11:40 but they wouldn’t be able to do the filling as it would only be an examination. I honestly would not even give this place a one star. In fact I don’t see how they can call themselves a dentist as you can’t even get through the door to see one. I warn you don’t sign up to this dentist!

Negative experience: Very rude receptionist who makes you feel like a nuisance. The dentist was a very nice guy but didn't seem to give a very thorough checkup. I tried here after being private for years. When I returned to my private dentist it turns out I needed 2 fillings which I feel they should have spotted.

Negative experience: Terrible service - my appointment was cancelled at the last minute, which happens and can't be avoided sometimes, however when I tried to get through to re-book the lines were constantly busy. I tried for about a week and didn't get through or get a call back. I also emailed them three times and didn't even get a response. I have now moved elsewhere.

Negative experience: Had to a give a star rating but would vote less than 1 star if I could. My boyfriend finally found the courage to return to the Dentist having not been for over 15 years as an NHS patient at this practice. The main reason he decided to get his teeth sorted was because he has a very dead and broken molar at the back of his mouth. The first appt went well and he returned a few weeks later to have 2 fillings. He was then told he would need 2 additional fillings and an extraction on the next visit, which we booked at this point. On the next appointment he was rudely told that he'd missed an appointment. He is nicer than me so he apologised and rebooked to have his tooth extraction completed in the following month to get it done as it had been causing him anxiety for years. He was told this would be possible when booking this apt, but on the day he arrived, he was told it was only a 15 min appt but he could have a filling if he wanted. He then rebooked for then extraction and the same thing happened again telling him he couldn't have his tooth extracted and they couldn't even give him an xray as their machine was broken. He was referred to Lincoln County for the Xray which just isn't service!! The dentist did fill this tooth however (he wasn't sure why) which then went on to cause him immense pain over the weekend with no follow up appt offered. We reluctantly went to the hospital only to be told their xray machine was out of order too and he would need to go back to the dentist or travel to Boston if he wanted an xray. We asked if we could have a referral to have the tooth extracted and the hospital but we're told no and the dentist should have done this months ago. Absolutely fuming that he has been left in this position and now we are awaiting callback from 111 to get some advice, as he has been left in so much pain that he can barely eat or sleep. The receptionist is the rudest woman I've ever spoken to, and will argue with you and call you a liar if they mess up your appointment. Wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy. Avoid.

Negative experience: Fillings constantly fall out and aesthetically look terrible. The wait times are ridiculous, too. Mixed bag of friendly and rude staff. (The dentist that sees my kids is excellent) Example - I had an appointment that they canceled hours before, I wasn't happy so they booked my in later that day. I arrived on time, they saw me late and the did nothing; because the appointment was meant to be an emergency appointment and I wasn't in pain they just rebooked it for when it was convenient for them. No emphathy, no apology just a waste of time *UPDATE* - They didn't ring me (as promised below) I had another filling, two days later I'm in excruciating pain and I can see the filling exposed! It looks like a grey mess stuck in between two teeth! I rang Guildhall to explain, I was cut off half way though explaining and they said call tomorrow morning for an emergency appointment. Again, no sorry or any form of empathy. Wouldn't recommend and I'll be looking for somewhere else that can accommodate me.

Negative experience: I tried to call 5 times on separate days to book an appointment, however not once was the phone answered. I also left a voice message but nobody called me back. I'll be going to a different dentist.

Negative experience: Numerous bad experiences with this place regarding my wife, son and myself. Some very rude staff . Let's it down for the ones that have a good work manner.

Negative experience: My dentist is lovely but the management of the practice and the reception staff are awful. I’ve just drove in to an emergency appointment to be told it’s been cancelled and they had tried ringing me (20 minutes before my appointment!). I have an emergency appointment as I had a filling done and this is the second time it has fallen out. Our last appointment with my partner and two children, we were left waiting over an hour! Most appointments I book are cancelled and the receptionist is the rudest receptionist I’ve ever come across. When you express your frustrations they couldn’t care less. They have 0 customer service skills and little empathy to patients. They don’t even smile or greet you when you come in or leave. I have had it - will be looking for a new dentist.
