Negative experience: Constantly cancelling appointments using lame excuses of "unforeseen circumstances". Appointments cancelled at short notice after waiting weeks to get an appointment. Definitely do not recommend. No duty of care, just want to make money.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely lovely staff. Fab interaction puts you at ease from the reception team right through to the treatment teams. No-one LOVES going to the Dentist, but this makes it very bearable.

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience at Coulsdon Dental Practice. Staff who attended to me were friendly and polite, and we had a conversation.

Fantastic experience: Would give more stars if I could. I have a very anxious child and Dr Lee and his assistant Nurse Paris just worked their magic. Amazing.. no fuss and no hanging around. Clear communication, hugely knowledgeable and professional on every level and most importantly in paediatric dental medicine. Very intuitive to the patient too. Like he knew what my child was thinking. Explaining all the steps and what was going to happen in a way that he understood and completely put him at ease Pure magic.

Negative experience: I’ve been here since I was a child and it’s sad to see the quality of service deteriorate over time. No longer about care of patients only about how quick we can get this appointment done.

Negative experience: Just a checkup which took no more than10 minutes plus friendly chat. Cost me £77, which works out at £462 per hour. E£30 for the checkup would have been reasonable. I'd have paid more if expert treatment had been needed.

Fantastic experience: Saw Sejil Karim today for an annual check, thorough as usual and takes the time to explain things without rushing, I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Coulsdon Dental Practice, and it was for a bit of an emergency – but from the moment I arrived, I felt reassured. Every member of staff I encountered was kind and professional, and I really can’t fault the service. A special thank you to my dentist, Anum, who truly went above and beyond. She took the time to explain each step of the process, showed me the problems clearly on the X-rays, and talked me through the options in a calm, clear, and caring way. The dentist has always been a source of anxiety for me, but today I felt completely safe, informed, and well looked after. Fantastic experience: Exceptional Care from a Truly Compassionate Professional -Bushra Haseeb Sheikh (Dental Hygienist) As someone who has always felt anxious about dental visits, I walked into my appointment with nerves running high. But from the very first moment I met Bushra, everything changed. She greeted me with the warmest smile and immediately put me at ease with her kind, calm demeanor. She took the time to listen to my concerns without any judgment and explained each step of the process clearly and gently, which made all the difference. Her compassion and empathy turned what could have been a stressful experience into one where I feel comfortable to return to. Bushra’s technique is gentle but incredibly thorough and my teeth have never felt cleaner. Busha is highly skilled and you feel she truly cares about her patients, not just their teeth but their overall well-being. Bushra is a gem, and I’m beyond grateful to have found her!

Fantastic experience: Hadn't see Lee before and i.appeared with severe bruising to my face due to a recent accident and also a cold. Lee reassured me that neither mattered for the purpose of the appointment. Both Lee and his nurse were friendly yet professional. Everything was explained and my wishes taken into account

Negative experience: I received bad service from this dentist. I got my chipped tooth fixed three weeks ago for £229 and it has already fallen out. I am unhappy with the service I received and do not recommend them.

Negative experience: On 6/5/2025 I visited the Dental Practice at this address because I moved to Coulsdon. The person working at the reception desk I tried to explain my situation to was that I had cancer surgery and could not walk or travel long distances and that this was the closest place for me because I needed to register as a patient. I was told that all the places were filled but given my situation that the manager, Mrs. Kety, would call me on 7/5/2025. As I was at home, the manager did not deign to call me, which I also consider to be very unprofessional and incorrect behavior. On 8/5/2025 I called again to hear an explanation from the same person why this happened but she repeated that there was no place for my registration, even after I explained that this behavior was not nice at all because I have been working for 27 years and she would certainly behave professionally and friendly first. Negative experience: I was on the books here since it opened but have watch the place slowly get worse and worse. Hygienist constantly canceling appointments and running late when there, which is a nightmare if you have kids or a job. I would have been more understanding to this but if your running late even a few minutes they won't see you and you get charged even when it's empty. Only interested in money, couldn't care less about there customers. Avoid at all costs

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. As a Belgian with limited English, I felt discriminated against by the receptionist — her attitude was cold and unwelcoming. I paid £79 for a check-up, clearly stating I only wanted gum treatment. After the check-up, I was told I needed a hygiene session for £81 — meaning £160 in total just to start treatment. I came back to ask for my NHS X-ray and oral cancer screening, which should have been provided, and witnessed the receptionist gossiping about me to another patient, who replied “Good luck.” Very unprofessional, especially under a sign about behaviour. Poor communication, judgmental staff, and overpriced service. I won’t return and do not recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: All of the dentists are fantastic, particularly Sejil. He has always been so helpful to my children and I and has given us the best treatment possible. My teeth were a complete mess when I joined the practice and I now finally have healthy gums and teeth and a smile that I am almost proud of!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this practice with the whole family for years and they always were great. The hygienist is fantastic and the two dentists we had were great with the kids. Even the grandparents had positive experiences here. Would definitely recommend.

Dentist was warm and welcoming and gave clear explanations of her examination and XRs. The hygienist put me at ease, and gave me the most thorough pain free clean I’ve ever had. Negative experience: The receptionist who said her name was Eliza really needs to work on her telephone manners. She comes across a bit cold and rude person. It's the first impression that you are making as a receptionist so I think it should be warm and friendly.

Positive experience: Very disappointed that my dentist has decided to go private, leaving me without an NHS option, despite being registered here for well over a decade. Reception staff extremely sympathetic, but at the end of the day I have effectively been thrown off their NHS list in a game of "musical chairs".

Positive experience: Coulsdon dental practice has been taking good care of my teeth and that of my family but I could remember the day I took my son for his dental appointment, they said that they had a five minutes late policy but we came 7 minutes late and they didn't allow us, they had to reschedule the appointment.

Fantastic experience: I’m not a fan of visits to the dentist but, as ever, my dentist ensures I leave very pleased with his calming and professional manner. I’d very much recommend this practice.

Negative experience: COMPLETELY AVOID Appointments moved around without being consulted left in agony and lots of pain and dentist attempts to get you to do private work instead of within NHS ridiculous amount of malpractice in this dentist . Just utterly the worst experience months of going back and forth to obtain treatment. Was sent by one of the dentists to a clinic for a tooth removal which was already paid for the other practise stated I was not suitable for treatment but they can help me at the hefty cost of £400 a clove filling was placed and dropped out within 2 days just avoid if you value your money and Time genuinely so disheartened .

Already registered with a new dentist if your nhs customer your made to feel like one, not on at all.

Negative experience: I had a filling in my wisdom tooth that came out. I had an xray and there was no reason given as to why one was taken. On my previous visit an impression was taken and and I was given aligners. Again no explanation nor was I asked if I was wearing them.. I had 2 cancellations before this appointment. Overall not a good experience.

Negative experience: Similar to a lot of recent reviews, the management of this practice has really gone downhill over the last year. Really difficult to ever get an appointment, they rarely answer the phone and their online booking service doesn't work for regular NHS bookings. I would look elsewhere and will be moving to another practice

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist! I came in for a check up and it turned out I needed a root canal. Had the root canal procedure today by Dr. Sejil Karim and he was brilliant. It was pain free and an all round good experience!
