Fantastic experience: I went to smiles as I wasn’t happy with my previous dentist. I went for a new patient examination, I had an x-ray and 3D scan of my mouth. Fantastic experience: I chipped my lower back tooth and the sensitivity was causing severe pain. To make things worse, the sharp edge was cutting into my tongue - a complete nightmare! Dr Gill at Smiles on Harrogate Road saw me the same day as an emergency patient and fixed the tooth in just 10 minutes. I didn’t feel a thing. Brilliant work! I’m now completely pain-free. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Smiles since it opened as not too far from my home but equally very handy as I love the shops in Chapel Allerton and the general vibe there. Smiles has been absolutely fabulous for me and my kids. They are so friendly and informative. I often see Dr Fiona and her Nurse Emilia. They make my appointment personable but their care is professional. Dr Fiona has sorted a long term issue with one of my back teeth that other dentists have previously overlooked so I am very grateful for this as thought I would need expensive surgery but she has sorted this with a very simple procedure. They have sorted rugby gum shields for my boys rugby and daughters hockey. The practice is lovely and modern, airy and clean. Receptionists have always been pleasant and helped with any appointments I needed to arrange. Great, all round lovely practice

Fantastic experience: Went for a teeth cleaning and I had an amazing experience. Fiona and her team know exactly what they are doing! Left with fresh, clean and brighter teeth. Fantastic experience: Well I was quite phobic about going to the dentist and had let my teeth get into a bit of a state. But Dr Gill at Smiles in Chapel Allerton has made it an (almost!) pleasant experience! I have had a few composites to cover sensitive areas of my teeth where gums have receded a bit and a large gap in my front teeth closed which looks and feels so much better! Dr Gill always discusses treatments carefully with me before hand so that I fully know what to expect during the procedure. I never feel pushed into unnecessary treatments. Fantastic experience: I made a last minute emergency appointment after a sleepless night in pain from a broken tooth. I booked online at 5:30am and was emailed an appointment time for 8:45 that morning. I’m a nervous patient when it comes to dentists but the staff were lovely when I arrived and explained the process to me, I was then taken through to see the dentist who was lovely and made me feel at ease straight away, she confirmed what I had mentioned was my issue then explained the process then went ahead with dealing with the problem tooth. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks for further treatment. Happy patient.

They explained all options and suggested care and we have had a very good experience (fillings and fluoride treatment during a course od 5 visits). Fantastic experience: I started my Invisalign journey with Dr Gill and Emilia in October 2023. Choosing this practice and making the decision to start an Invisalign treatment was one of the best decisions I ever made! I had a large gap between my front two teeth and gaps in other parts of my teeth too, in general my teeth were quite misaligned. I had been unhappy for quite some time and had become very self conscious about my smile to the point that whenever a photo was being taken I would angle my face so that certain parts of my teeth weren’t showing and when I spoke to people I would try hide the gap in my front two teeth with my tongue. Dr Gill and Emilia have both been amazing on my Invisalign journey. They are friendly, helpful and were completely invested in getting me the results I wanted. My teeth are transformed and I have a lovely (and very confident) smile! Thank you so much. I genuinely can't speak highly enough of the team (including the Receptionist) at Smiles on Harrogate Road, they have been fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful dental practice; staff are all friendly, warm and extremely knowledgable in providing honest and to-the-point dental advice. You know you are in good hands with Dr Gill and colleagues. Appointment availability is great; I have been seen for an emergency appointment within the hour after an old filling became displaced. Prices are very reasonable, particularly when you sign up for the monthly plan. I hadn’t visited the dentist for over 5 years when I initially joined Smiles and was expecting to feel embarrassed and shamed in my first appointment. I received quite the opposite response and have since felt empowered to care for my teeth and oral hygiene better than I ever have before. 10/10 would recommend.
