Fantastic experience: My husband has just finished his treatment with Kings. Could not fault them. A big shout out to Laura on reception. She has been exceptional in helping with appointments etc, and very kind and friendly. Also a VERY BIG shout out to the denist Bernie. She has been brilliant in seeing him through all the treatment he needed. THANK YOU

Negative experience: Usually have a good experience but last time was horrendous. My child is now too afraid to go back, hes autistic, brave to even go in the first place and I also never recieved a response from them anyway. *have now funnily enough recieved a reply but laced with fake apologies for how I feel as they didn't like my review very much and a lot of gas lighting that it didn't happen* Sorry if you are a patient here

Negative experience: Male dentist really rude ,wants to leave early every day , had an appointment came 7 mins late due to traffic . Receptionist talking to someone else and by the time i got to speak to her she said your nearly 15 mins which it was n’t when i walked in , also saying the dentist needs to go home . Ive also had my previous appointment cancelled by them due to the dentist going home . Bad service , he needs to go!

Fantastic experience: I hate dentist scared to death had appointment today for a deep.clean absolutely amazing was put at ease the dentist I had was so lovely and made me.feel.relaxed

Negative experience: Have been with them for over 15years and my mum suffers from mental health and memory problems I even explained to them that she has issue with memory and sent email with explanation but showed no empathy they said you missed appointment and now register with another surgery absolute joke I explained my mum has to see the dentist they showed no care and not even counted missed appointment of one year they counted 4 missed appointments over all the years we've been which is a joke it's just an excuse to remove people because they want to take more private clients at the surgery.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist

Negative experience: Receptionists are rude and give attitude as if it’s your fault they have to work. Orthodontist is also very rude and rushes you not answering any questions or concerns you have. Only the dentists have given me a good experience. Will be changing dentists just because of those receptionists and how bad they are

Fantastic experience: Nina saw my daughter yesterday and she was absolutely brilliant. She sorted the issue so quickly, my daughter was really worked up because of the work that needed doing but Nina really put both our minds at rest. Honestly so happy and grateful with the service we received.

Fantastic experience: I rang the practice on Wed morning i had bad toothache and nanaged to get an appointment before 11am my usual Dentist had left the practice, I wondered what was in store for me i have had some bad experiances with Dentist in the past and it wasnt until i moved to Kings i was happy. I have to say that the Dentist that saw me that day Bernadette Lackey has to be the BEST Dentist i have ever seen i rang my son and my daughter to tell them i just could not belive it was compleatly pain free i did feel a thing when i had to have 2 teeth extracted i didnt even feel the needle go into my gum would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had my routine check and was glad to meet the Bernice the Dr, she was very professional, empathic and friendly. This is the first time in a while I had such an excellent experience at Kings Dental practice.

Negative experience: Had the worst experience today at this dental practice, which unfortunately hasn’t been my first bad experience. The receptionist is rude, i faced embarrassment today when I arrived for my appointment, which had been re-arranged and then cancelled last minute without notice. I came in and got shouted at and yelled at for attending my appointment, which they had cancelled this morning through email. I feel this is unnecessary and she should have dealt with the situation in a calmer more humane manner. Instead of apologising and explaining the situation to me she continued to approach the situation in a rude manner. So unprofessional, unkind and horrible. Do not recommend this dental practice to anybody, my previous experiences have always been unpleasant.

Negative experience: I too have been a patient at this practice for 20 yrs or more.When I tried to make an appointment in October 23 I was told all the dentist had gone private apart from one dentist that was only seeing his own patients and the telephone number I had used is only an emergency number now. I'd only been 6 mths previous. A couple of weeks later my sister took her daughter to see her dentist for her usual check up. Everything was just the same as the last time. I was going to find out why I had been told otherwise. In the meantime I found myself another dentist.I know now my check ups wasn't thorough. So really whoever it was that answered the phone to me that morning did me a big favour.

Negative experience: Reception team are far too busy chatting to do their job the dentists and orthodontic team are rude and unkind to minors steer clear if you can I’ve left after being a patient for over 35 years after the orthodontist gave my teenage daughter with anxiety a fear of the dentist - being kind, dr king doesn’t take much leave your arrogance outside of the room when treating patients

Negative experience: Very disappointed...this has been my dentist for over 30+ years..called this morning to be asked what's up...to be told I've been struck off..with NO notification..was told I've not been to dentist since 2019...which is a lie.. explained I lost confidence in them.. because they left a drill in my tooth .. without telling me...causing unnecessary pain...poor service indeed

Positive experience: I had a check up yesterday with Ash. He took less than 5 minutes to examine my mouth and asked me if had any problems. Since having the Maryland bridge done last year I have a gap at the side of the tooth that trappes food when I eat that can be uncomfortable I have to use tooth pic to remove it. This has been a ongoing problem since having the bridge fitted. Ash said it was nothing to do with the bridge and it was due to the tooth next to it . Therefore he recommended a brace in order to straighten my bottom jaw teeth. Which will eliminate the small gap. Which probably would cost me a fortune. He then asked if I want my teeth cleaned.to Which I agreed . However the procedure provided was scaling which was very uncomfortable and no polishing was provided. He then asked me to rince my mouth with water . and that was it . I felt cheated .what exactly was I paying £25 for. I feel ash was cutting corners and not providing the complete examination and service.this left Feeling very uneasy . However the reception staff and Dental assistant/Nurse are lovely. Very professional. Ash needs to change his practice. Hence this review.

Negative experience: Always feels like I get know where with getting my teeth sorted with all my previous dentists leaving. Receptionist are really nice

Negative experience: Tried calling 5 times each time on hold for over 10mins.. it was saying I was first in the Q.. worse than trying to get a doctors appointment. Kings dental do you have a email address I can email you ? Thanks

Fantastic experience: Find it better since I have false teeth, not as frightening now.

Negative experience: This whole practice is a disappointment. I have a filling in my front tooth, which causes extreme levels of anxiety for me, as I become very self-conscious when this falls off. Not only this, but I also have to constantly worry and eat with the most care so that the filling is not affected. In the last year, I have visited the practice 4 times, now waiting for the 5th time to solve the SAME issue with the same dentist. The first time he filled in the tooth, it lasted about two days, which required me to contact the practice again, attend another appointment but this time the tooth lasted 2 weeks. I then had a third appointment and the tooth did last one year and a bit, surprisingly. I went to an appointment this year and the filling lasted ONE day. Nevermind that I did not get called in at the time of my appointment and it was later than that, the dentist also finished the filling very confident in himself in about 10 minutes. Now I have managed to get an appointment for the 5th of December, around 2 weeks away from today. It is truly upsetting to know that the work of these “professionals” can have such an impact, not only on someone’s appearance but on someone’s health and mental well-being and yet they rush everything and do not do their job properly.

Negative experience: Not happy had some fillings done on Tuesday went back Thursday as dentures were to tight after the filling he took a bit off the denture but had to go back again today he took little bit more off but now they are too loose and not sitting against my teeth properly

It's such a shame the lady dentist upstairs has left the practice she was excellent and always gave options if there was a problem with a tooth other than just a filling. THANK YOU Y Kelly

Negative experience: Kings Dental Clinic in 0% services. We made an emergency appointment which we received time in 2 weeks time to see doctor at 12:00 and when we arrived by taxi in reception the lady said the doctor is not available today and we will make the appointment next in 2 weeks then we left and phone an emergency dentist in the same day Ashton Underlyne. And this is the 3rd time this Clinic is cancelling my appointment maybe other patients as well. No good at least text not to come your appointment is cancelled and we will send you another appointment but they don't do this and if you missed your appointment the remove youch name from registration which is not fair. I am leaving this on the rest of patients what they think . Thanks

Fantastic experience: My experience at King's Dental Centre was very professional and excellent. I was served very quick and I did not experience any pain during extraction. I Was given information on after care and when next to return which I believe they do that with every client. The Dentist was friendly yet professional which I appreciated. Would recommend anyone for sure.

Positive experience: Sorry,not good this time.They lost track of my denture and did not inform me,and I wasted a journey from Oldham to collect it and it was still at the repair shop.

Fantastic experience: Really helpful from my dentist and all the staff in general, had some issues with my teeth but I'm happy to say they are now stable after the treatment I've had a few months ago.

Negative experience: Honestly speaking going on my experience, my treatment was disgraceful. I was treated by its either Damian or David King who was the rudeness most obnoxious person I had ever met. He is the worst dentist I had ever met and meeting him in life is most regrettable. I m not sure if it was the fact that I was under nhs and not paying private was the issue. I had not been to the dentist for a while, as I truly dreaded being on a dentist chair but Dr King gave me the experience a whole new meaning to me. I knew my teeth were not good and I would probably need alot of fillings and a root canal and he informed me in the most humiliating degrading way. On the true urgency of finally wanting to get my teeth fixed I went back and spent the worse hour of my life as I he made his frustrations and vileness quite clear. If any dentist is like this I would urge you to go private and NOT with him.

Fantastic experience: Been coming to kings for a number of years. Came in today and the two girls on reception couldn't be anymore helpful if they tried. Always great you and always make you feel welcome. My dentist Andy is very reassuring and explains everything to me at every appointment. Would definitely recommended this practice and deserves all my 5 stars
