Fantastic experience: I have been attending the dentist at this practice for a while now. I am an incredibly nervous dental patient and I have found my visits here far easier and a lot calmer than previous practices. Everyone is very friendly and the dentist has taken the time to develop a treatment plan that I'm both comfortable with and I find less intimidating than I expected. I would throughly recommend this practice to anyone who has a fear of the dentist or is just looking for a friendly, helpful practice

Fantastic experience: My first visit to this dentist. Friendly welcome by receptionist. Dentist and dental nurse were very professional explaining what they were going to do - dental examination and gave advice on looking after my teeth. I also got my teeth cleaned. Best clean in a long time. Advised to get teeth cleaned on 6 month cycle but this next one would have to be private as NHS don’t clean teeth very often. Very happy with this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: This surgery is amazing!! From Sandra on reception to my dentist Tanya and the dental nurse Anna they were all amazing! The manager Emily is an asset to this surgery with the knowledge and intelligence she has! Emily was able to answer all of my silly questions even complicated ones and it made me so comfortable! Fantastic experience: My experience today was really good . The place is spotlessly clean . The Dentist was very professional and well mannered . She was friendly and helpful. The 2 Dental Nurses I met were again very professional and welcoming. I was treated with respect and courtesy . They should get a wage rise lol . Lovely place . Both the Dentist Marwaw & her assistant Lorraine are a good team . I am thrilled to be drilled by this Dental Surgery .

Fantastic experience: I hadn't got round to registering with a local dentist when I developed sudden toothache. Went to Cross Dental and they were so helpful. Got assessed within a week, treatment carried out 2 weeks later and check up a couple of months after that. Staff are super friendly, efficient and very understanding. Atmosphere is very calm and building spotless. I've really landed on my feet being taken on here and highly recommend the Cross Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: I am 65yrs old and today was the first time ever that I felt comfortable in a dentist.From opening the door my first impression was how spacious and clean the waiting room was, the receptionist was so kind and made me so welcome. The dentist and dental nurse where very professional in such a kind understanding manner which made me very relaxed . I never thought I would ever praise a dentist like I have . My fear goes way back as a child and I have constantly lived with this fear since apart from today . Thankyou all at the Cross Dental Surgery

Fantastic experience: Such a lovely dental practice; nice and bright environment and the staff were so friendly. From receptionist Sandra who was the epitome of welcoming to Dentist, Tanya and Dental Nurse Dominika who were both the kindest souls and were exceptionally patient with me and completely understood my anxieties and of course the Practice Manager, Emily who was all of the above. Really nice practice, with a clear focus on being person centered delivered by the most incredible staff.

Positive experience: It's a good dentist but you have to be there on time for your appointment if your late they won't see you but all friendly staff make you feel comfortable when your there.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with this practice. They seem overwhelmed and very busy. When I called to report tooth pain after a treatment, I was reassured that it was "normal" and even told that the receptionist experiences pain from time to time. They said nothing could be done about it. Eventually, i got an appointment. I paid for an X-ray and started a treatment plan, but the dentist went away soon after. They promised to call me back but didn’t follow through. I called three more times over two weeks, and each time they assured me I’d get a call back, but it never happened. I’ve since moved to another dental practice.

The dentist explained everything to me and talked me through the procedure I was getting, and the ones I would need in the future. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep during my filling. Negative experience: Moved to area and was told call back in January when they get a new nhs dentist. Went in only to find they weren't taking new patients despite saying so on window. Was rudely told it would cost them too much to remove the sign. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional

Positive experience: I have waited over a year to register, then about half a year for a check up/scaling visit that was cancelled. Before I could reschedule, I moved out of Edinburgh. So all together, I wasn't even able to use any of the services in over 1.5 years since I moved to the area! They can be good dentists though, only I had no chance of finding that out

Fantastic experience: Well, i was absolutely petrified of any dentist i used to have nice teeth but since before COVID i have had bad experience at a dentist BUT NOT THIS ONE registered with the cross and it was me who let myaelf down and appointments but since i have started my treatment i have felted at ease so if anyone reading this go to the Cross i no they are busy ladys but have made time for my treatment aftwr letting them down but no more am happy to go now.
