Fantastic experience: A Great Experience From Start to Finish From the moment I booked the appointment to the moment I walked out, the whole experience was fantastic. The reception team were welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process easy and stress-free. The dentist was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which immediately put me at ease. The treatment itself — while never anyone’s idea of a fun day out — was quick, personal, and impressively pain-free. I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m looking forward to going back (who ever does?), but I can honestly say I’ll have no hesitation returning when the time comes. A professional team who clearly care — highly recommended.

My old NHS practise was ok , but as a very nervous patient just wanted to get the job done and be gone . Fantastic experience: I always had problems with going to dentists, usually avoiding them until i really have to go and recently registered here as I had a complex abscess issue. I was instantly made to feel welcome and at ease. The check-up with Dr. Sylvia was great and was refreshing to be able to talk to a dentist openly. Due to the issues I had, Dr. Sheena came and also took a look, and she was very helpful and informative as well. She did her best to help me. I really think they went above and beyond to ensure I had the right treatment filling me with confidence. I would recommend this dentist practice to anyone and will definitely be less hesitant to return more often for checkups and improvements.

Fantastic experience: To say the least, I don’t do dentists. Way to long a story but after a bad experience some years ago I find myself becoming quite anxious and slightly aggressive in my manner on entering my dentist reception, which isn’t who I am. It always ends with me apologising a short while longer while sounding like John Merrick. I have to say my visit today started in my usual manner and was quite surprised at being able to remove my headphones and open my eyes while I was having what felt like a road drill in my mouth… congratulations guys… and the tooth looks great too :)

Fantastic experience: I hadn't no idea what to expect at my appointment today as I was having the prep work done for a crown so I was pretty nervous but Deep put me at ease straight away, he's so calm and friendly, they also have a new 3d scanner that can scan all of your teeth which was so simple and only took a matter of minutes...which ment I didn't need to have impressions! Brilliant Dentist!

Fantastic experience: When it comes to visiting the dentist I confess I am one of the world’s most nervous patient- fortunately I found Dr Sylvia and her assistant Andrea and they put me at ease very quickly. I used to have to drive all the way to Bristol to visit my dentist as I didn’t trust anyone else but I am glad I have found Thatch Roof Dental at Long Bucky. They have the best dentists and the Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you Sylvia and Andrea!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutelty hate the dentist as in petrified but Slyvia and Andrea managed to make me feel at ease even at the toughest times. They made it (almost) a pleasure and I only say almost due to the fact I am petrified of dentist. She was so calm and understanding, explained everything very clearly and (I can’t believe I’m saying this) but I’m even looking forward to going back for my next appointment and treatment!

Fantastic experience: Having had problems with my teeth from childhood, I am a very nervous patient. Deep has recently completed a route canal and replaced the crown too. He and the team have been amazing. They are all so friendly which put me at ease too. Today I have had my new crown fitted and the quality of Deep’s work shows. It fits great and the colour match was perfect, meaning you can’t tell it isn’t one of mine. I would highly recommend Thatch House Dental.

I recently rang to book the next emergency appointment thankfully they had a slot a couple of hours later for a consultation and xrays, the dentist instantly recognised the issue and said he could fix the problem after his next client, 20mins later all sorted and on my way, talk about going above and beyond!! I would highly recommend based on customer service alone, thank you all and keep up the great work

Positive experience: My dentist and all the team were friendly and helpful. I personally like the opportunity of online appt booking etc, though was a bit thrown re upfront payments for checkups and hygienist visits etc. I get it - should imagine that no-shows are not good here - but not what we’ve been used to. Lucky enough not to have any work required at this point so will comment more if this happens

They both ensured they kept me up to date with what was happening and what I could potentially feel, that made the experience that much more relaxed as a patient. Sheena was so patient and friendly towards her, my daughter was nervous so they helped make her feel more comfortable, spoke about peppa pig going to the dentist as peppa is her favourite! Fantastic experience: Very pleased. A very professional experience, clear, informative, and open to discussion. Not at all dictatorial. I didn’t even feel the injection, and once work was underway and it became clear that a full crown was unecessary, work was stopped and we discussed options and preferences. I obviously went for the less invasive re-fill option and left very happy and £450 better off! Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Very pleasant and friendly. Appointment was for 11am but kept waiting for about 15 mins. This could have been better for someone like me who is always in a rush.

The practice itself is in a lovely little village/town which made the drive through very scenic and it has actually just been refurbished/rebranded and is absolutely stunning inside! All the team at Thatch House we're so kind and helpful, made sure that I was very well taken care of from the moment I walked in. I would absolutely recommend anyone to visit and start treatment with the guys as Thatch House Dental! And to visit the sandwich/coffee shop over the road
