Fantastic experience: I had swollen gums for 4–5 days, and as a diabetic I was really worried. I’ve been a patient at Coventry Road Dental Care for a while, and they have always treated me with kindness — especially Dr. JJ, who is wonderfully patient with me because I can be quite a stressed and anxious patient. When my gum didn’t improve with mouthwash and salt water, I called the practice. They saw me the same day, within two hours. Dr. JJ examined me, prescribed a three‑day course of antibiotics, and I’m already feeling so much better. I’m genuinely grateful for the care I received. The whole team always looks after me in the best way possible, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: As a confirmed dentist phobe I tried Coventry road on the recommendation of my sister in law, another phobic. I have now been with them for over 15 years and I am no longer filled with dread at appointment time. Both of the dentists who have treated me over the years have been brilliant, patient, understanding of my fears and terrible gag reflex and have gone out of their way to listen,reassure and understand me and while some dental treatments can't be totally pain-free, my experience of all of my treatments has been worry free and certainly not a bad as previous experience in other practices. I thoroughly recommend Coventry Road and all of my family are happy to be registered with them, including the children who seem to enjoy sitting in the chair and chatting. If you,like me are scared of dentists, give them a try, they may well change your views. David Allen

Negative experience: Review for Dr. Puja Rathor Title: Rushed, Judgmental, and a Waste of Time - Do Not Recommend ⭐️⭐️ (2 out of 5 stars) I had an emergency visit for a decayed wisdom tooth and saw Dr. Puja Rathor, as my usual dentist was unavailable. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The appointment started with a 25-minute wait with no apology or explanation. Once in the chair, the examination felt incredibly rushed. Dr. Rathor did a quick assessment of my decay, didn't even complete the X-ray, and immediately jumped to a conclusion. She correctly identified that I needed a filling (which I already knew was the reason for my visit), but then proceeded to lecture me about my dental hygiene, stating I needed to book an appointment with the hygienist. I have previously declined free cleaning offers from other dentists due to personal concerns about enamel damage, a valid choice based on research and anecdotal evidence from others. Dr. Puja Rathor was dismissive of this and her manner came across as arrogant and judgmental, not helpful or educational. The entire interaction felt fake, like she was following a script to upsell services rather than genuinely addressing my immediate concern. The combination of the long wait, incomplete exam, and condescending tone made for a terrible visit. I will never see this dentist again. All dentists are certainly not the same, and I strongly recommend you look for a more professional and empathetic one.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Coventry Road Dental Care, Bedworth for a number of years. As a nervous patient, I have found the care I have received from Dr Birdi and his nurses to be excellent, with empathy and understanding of individual patient's concerns. Negative experience: Had an appointment booked yesterday morning due to having pain in my teeth/gums. Checked in a few minutes before due appointment time, no mention of dentist running late so sat in waiting room waiting and waiting. Had to leave after 35 minutes waiting with no indication of how much longer the dentist would actually be as I'd left my young baby in the car with my mum thinking I'd only be about 20 minutes and he was getting upset. Poor client service as when I said I had to leave the receptionist still couldn't tell me if the dentist would be much longer. Alls I got was a sorry I'll rebook you in. What, so I can waste another morning. I genuinely think I could have just kept waiting and I find it very rude that someone couldn't have come and let me know the dentist was running so behind and then I could have left sooner and not had my time wasted, very inconsiderate and poor communication. I'll be leaving and finding a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have had dental implants. Dr shergill and his team were fantastic. I was very nervous but he was so kind and understanding. I have got my confidence back after having an extremely bad experience from another dental practice. I can't praise this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: Doc Keval Rathod is the best dentist I have ever experienced and I am 75 years old. I have experienced careless, inept and downright sadistic dentists but Doc Rathod is very different. He is calm, caring and delivers pain free treatment to the highest standards. Thank you Doc Deol for your patience and for passing me to him.

Fantastic experience: My journey started in June of 2024 and it's a journey i will never forget. I had booked my wedding and knew I wouldn't feel comfortable with smiling in thousands of photos unless I closed the gap I had in my teeth. I firstly went to an orthodontist which quoted me for invisalign but with the most extortionate price and I left crying my eyes out as I knew I couldn't afford that and felt that i couldnt get married with how awful i felt in myself. I nearly gave up but didn't. I came to Coventry Road and I'm so grateful I did! I discussed my issue and what I wanted, before you knew it I had the quote back with the correct package that would suit me with invisalign and I was over the moon!!! It was under half the price the orthodontist was and I snapped it up in seconds no second thoughts. I then started my treatment and omg DR MEG is without a doubt the most amazing dentist I have ever had and I am so grateful my journey was with her!!! She made my wedding for me becuase without this I would have had no confidence but on my wedding day I was strutting my stuff with a beaming smile all day!!! I had new aligners every 4 weeks to go through each stage where Dr Meg would check my progress and move onto the next step such as shaving teeth down and putting on these little bumps things (can't remember what they were called) which made the aligners fit a certain way to help the teeth move. I can't say this would happen for everyone but I had zero pain. The process took just over a year which flew by you will only get the results you put the effort into so I listened to everything I needed to do and was strict such as wearing the aligners for 22 hours a day. Honestly from start to finish the most amazing process and a bonus i lost a stone as i couldnt easily snack haha. In the end I had some composite bonding to set of the final look i wanted which wasnt included in the package so i paid extra. However i did have a whitening treatment and that was included in the package as well as the final retainer. I haven't stopped smiling ever since the most biggest most amazing transformation for me where my confidence is back!!! It's changed my life... I've always been told one thing people look at are teeth and nails. Thank you so much to the coventry road team even the reception team who I felt totally comfortable with and we had such friendly banter I loved it!!!! Just the most amazing thank you to Dr Meg who has changed my life and is more than a dentist she is an amazing person. Kind, calming, friendly and a truly beautiful soul with so much empathy and truly wants to make you feel your best. she was so kind to me as my confidence really was gone, I even cried on her a few times and she was totally empathetic and made this process amazing for me, ill never foeget it. I will be forever grateful whilst smiling my little head off Please go to see these guys, you won't regret it!!! Dr Meg is the one to have!!!

He is an asset to this Dentist but I'm 99.9% sure all the Dentist practioners are all polite and understanding like Doctor Keval. I would definitely recommend this Dentist 100%

Positive experience: Been going to this dentist for several years and I thought things were great. However I found it’s been increasingly pushing towards more of a private dentist. The NHS appointments cover the bare minimum in my opinion. I’m disappointed that my teeth were only getting a 2 minute visual scan. Only things were done when tell them I have pains. I had a root canal done and it wasn’t fully completed, I was being pushed for private. Straight away as if it wasn’t an option on the NHS. Having recently moved dentist where I’ve had my teeth fully examined. My root canal needed finishing which was redone and covered on NHS. As how it was left was chipping. I’ve had scaling and polishing as a normal service and a preventative filling on a tooth. These were things that seem to be missed at this dentist. I was pushed to see a hygienist for tartar and plaque removal. I’m glad I moved dentist.

Fantastic experience: My sincere thanks to Dr Waddah Salmon and his assistant "Victoria" for their patience,skill and understanding. Dentistry requires two pairs of hands! and this team is the Best!! My appointment was on the hottest day of the year so air conditioning in the surgery was most welcome!!

Negative experience: Dr Deol was amazing since he stopped working place has gone downhill fast. Female dentist with the clinic room down stairs is so rude and unprofessional, she doesn’t care, doesn’t even look at your teeth properly, just fobs you off even when you have legitimate concerns.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful, I was seen by a female dentist for the 2nd time, who did not treat my teeth because I didn’t live locally and said if they took my tooth out I could end up in hospital with fluid coming out of my nose and I can’t go to a hospital there which you can go to any hospital in the UK wherever you are and didn’t really made sense anyway. I have had 3 children and since this my teeth have become weak which I didn’t even have a filling before my children 4 years ago and she said this isn’t the cause and kept asking if I eat mints and said I need to brush better which is insulting because I always brush and floss. She kept smirking and looking at the other lady helping and told me to find a dentist where I live which there are no nhs dentist here which is why I go to this one where I used to live and see family. I now 3 months on still have my teeth not sorted, I am in pain with bleeding and couldn’t be more embarrassed and worried. Never been made to feel so uncomfortable and stupid.

Times were always to my suitability for appointments and My dental nurse was Puja and same assistant every visit. It was’nt NHS because it was aesthetic treatment but feel that the cost was reasonable and far more reliable than chancing Turkey teeth.Thanks again. PS the practice itself was immaculate.

After visiting camp hill dental practice and being told i needed a filling 2 weeks later and no sleep no end off pain killers & a course of antibiotics i didnt need in unbearable pain. The guy x-rayed my teeth spoted the problem straight away took my wisdom tooth out for me instant relief brilliant after care advice. Really good at his job as are the receptionist. Highly recommend these guy and ladys thankyou so much.

Fantastic experience: Love this practice, service starts at right time, quick, everything is clean/opened during your appointment. My dentist is Dr Keval, who is just perfect for what he does, has a perfect hand for a dentist. I was very concerned first time due to being first dentist appointment out of my home country, but treatment went well and kept well 6 months later on my check.

Negative experience: I don't want to judge the entire practice but my experience with my dentist here was as abysmal as all the bad reviews have stated. Booked in for an emergency appointment here & long story short, the dentist tried to tell me the tooth I identified as being the issue is completely wrong and instead it's one at the bottom. After about 4 minutes total being in the room, I was then sent off on my way and told to come back in 2 weeks. Upon returning, he mumbles again and tells me they need to do a root canal on the tooth that's not causing me any issue, and also quoting me the private dental amount instead of the NHS Band amount. Again the appointment was also only 5 mins max. Just overall a horrible experience, feels like a food market where vendors want to get through as many customers as possible and squeeze as much money out of tourist as possible LOL. The pain in my tooth persisted, so I went to a complete different dentist for an emergency appointment. And this is where I realised I wasn't just feeling like Coventry Road gave me a bad experience, but now it's validated, because this newer dentist was NIGHT/DAY Different in every single way... Firstly they didn't rush me out my share. I had 20 minutes and could've easily been longer. They evaluated the tooth that I identified as causing issue PROPERLY. AND THEY FOUND IT HAD AN INFECTION...And I've been put on Anti-biotics & then need a Filling to help fix. A nice normal solution. Properly explained. Properly examined...Something Coventry Road Dental "CARE" neglected to do. The fact I visited this place twice within the same time frame and they didn't identify the infection in either appointment and a different dental practice noticed it immediately is absolutely insane. This business must be just hiring anyone without any experience. I would advice you all to AVOID to save your health and money.

Fantastic experience: I broke my false front tooth whilst on holiday and contacted the practice by e-mail. They arranged an appointment for the day after we returned. Within 36 hours it had been repaired and Dr Birdie (patiently) coached me on how to insert it in a safe way. I cannot thank him and the practice enough. As always the care and empathy shown is above and beyond. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I am pretty phobic about dentists and before coming to this practice I had not been near a dentist for 10 years and for 25 years have not had regular check ups. I have been under the care of Faryl Zahid and have to say that she is really lovely. Not only did she clear up an infection with no judgement , but I have started to go for check ups and more recently braved having some cosmetic treatment to an ugly black tooth - I now love my smile and would highly recommend this practice and, in particular, this lovely lady!

Fantastic experience: This practice is wonderful, each time I visit I have a pleasant experience. My dentist Dr Raj is very attentive and always listens to my dental concerns. Appointment availability is always good and staff are helpful. I would recommend Dr Raj and this practice to anybody who is nervous in a dental environment, they always make you feel at ease and he is brilliant with my children also. Our 6 monthly check ups are no longer something that brings nerves but simply an easy experience for the whole family.

I’ve had nothing but trouble for the year I have been there all they love to do is pull teeth out My experience of the dental nurse puja will long live with me I had a tooth out last week ended up with a mouth full of stitches not only that before the procedure was completed she emptied the side off with all the tooth and bloody tissues to then go back in the bin and retrieve it realising she hadn’t finished with them yet? I made a complaint to the principal manager who was at first sympathetic to then tell me it will take minimum 1year to complete the work I require bearing in mind I’ve already waited a year to see someone in Birmingham hospital to where I was referred too for restoration work I am taking legal advice on my neglect of treatment and for the last procedure that was carried out Please listen to my review I would avoid I hope I can help another person from going through the experience I have had UPDATE 25/07/24 As you will all see there’s no reply from Coventry road dentist nearly a week on let’s not forget they love to praise the very few positive reviews the place needs closing down total disgrace of a place it’s like a cattle market disgusting UPDATE 5/08/24 You have the cheek to leave a reply to my review saying you strongly refuse my claim so why did I have a meeting with the principal dentist I have the whole conversation recorded of you apologizing for the way I was treated and you said it was way below your standards you are deluded and yes I was very very angry in the final meeting wouldn’t you be and as for wanting any further treatment from you I couldn’t express what I feel for that incompetent dentist surgery I’ve instructed a legal team and as you said yourself it will all be evidence based well that’s fine by me as I’ve plenty of evidence I look forward to posting the outcome of my legal claim then tell me you strongly denie my allegations

Fantastic experience: I have been in the care of my dentist, Dr Deol, for many a year now and have always received excellent service. However, he has gone above and beyond over the past few weeks, assisting me with an issue involving one of my teeth. He has investigated the issue, contacted laboratories, negotiated the lowest possible costs, and then completed the work, ensuring I am comfortable with everything every step of the way, both physically and financially. But the most caring thing is he treats you as a "friend" at all times and shows genuine enthusiasm for your well-being whilst he is with you. Thank you Dr Deol, it does not go unnoticed.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dental practice. Dr Kathod and nurse Mia provide an excellent service. Completely trusted, very good with me and my young adult kids (Both with anxiety issues when it comes to the dentist!) They explain and advise with no lectures no shaming or guilt. Was under Dr Deol who was patient and understanding with my fear of dentists was then randomly booked with another dentist who was ok. The next appointment again with another random dentist today was awful. Checked my teeth fine had X-rays then while waiting they tried to sell me anti wrinkle injections which I do not need, when I said not interested I suddenly needed 3 fillings, they then tried to sell me the white fillings at £200 (noted on previous reviews someone else was quoted £150 and there sister £100 so no consistency with charges) I declined and said I’d have them done with the normal NHS price. I can barely afford that with the current cost of living crisis so to have a dentist try and fleece you out of money is shocking. I’m now going to have to find a new dentist as I refuse to go here again.

Fantastic experience: I avoided the dentist for years after a horrible procedure in Birmingham left me with a huge phobia. I waited until I was in agony and had no choice but to go - I went to Coventry Road Dental Care as it was the closest dentist taking NHS patients after I moved to Coventry. This dentist not only sorted all my issues, but completely cured my phobia. My dentist is so lovely and patient, he explains everything to me and I’ve been back now 5 times which I never thought I’d say! The building is lovely and well decorated and the staff are really helpful… For anyone who is a nervous patient, I’d strongly recommend this dentist!

Negative experience: I had a chipped molar and went in to to see Waddah Salman. He literally spent two seconds in my mouth looking at chip and told me "if you want me to look at the other teeth you'll have to come back..." Which makes zero sense as if I'd gone in for a general check up it would've cost the same and he would've checked out the broken tooth too. He then went on to tell me that a white filling would be £150 whereas my sister went a few weeks before and saw a different dentist at the same surgery who spent ages on her teeth and offered her a white filling for £100, £50 less. What a shame that certain dentists and their bad, lazy attitudes let down the surgery. I won't be going back, it felt like a money grabbing con from Salman.

Negative experience: After using this practice fir many years I am disappointed with the way the receptionist was this morning I found her very abrupt and dismissive. Not taking the the time to listen properly and raising a hand when I attempted to explain my problem.

Negative experience: I have very bad experience with Coventry Road dentist.unfortunately my appointment was with Pooja Rathor she is very unprofessional she filed my teeth very badly after feeling I could not eat properly when back to her for teeth she makes more worse. After that I went to the Punjab for holidays there refilled my teeth again very nicely known I feeling very comfortable punjab❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Having received treatment from Puja Rathour for some time I have pleasure in confirming that she has become a credit to this extremely efficient, well organised dental practice. Coventry Road Dental Care continues to demonstrate how health care providers should be run.

Fantastic experience: All the staff at Coventry Road Dental Care are always polite, always doing things at the patients pace and never ever rushing an appointment. Always have time to listen and make sure I never feel pressured into something I don't want to do. I've been coming for a few years now and I can honestly say that they're the best dentist I have ever been to. The previous dentist wasn't't as polite and respectful as these members of staff. I can honestly say hands down I have never had a bad experience here.

Negative experience: Just travelled 8 miles in dreadful wintry conditions for my appointment to be told the dentist was running at least 40 minutes late. This is not acceptable. Why couldn’t someone have telephoned to tell me. Less than impressed with this service
