Fantastic experience: It is always an absolute pleasure visiting London Smiling at Goodge Street. The staff are all so welcoming and warm. I had my visit with the wonderful hygienist, Mauree. He is always so thorough and patient. You are given a really first class scale and polish. Afterwards, your teeth feel amazing. Mauree does a plaque test and discusses areas which need more attention. My score is improving as a result of this. I recommend this practice wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: I went to London Smiling today as I recently chipped the top of one of my front teeth on my lower jaw. I was able to get an appointment at short notice with Dr Bansal, who is experienced in restoring worn down teeth. Dr Bansal worked his magic on my chipped tooth and now it looks as good as new! I couldn't be happier with that result.

Fantastic experience: The Team at London Smiling are the best - all exceptionally good at what they do but such an upbeat group of people! From Alina welcoming you and keeping you organised, Polly who assists the dentists and wears amazingly cheerful scrubs and is always so kind and reassuring and Zamari the Hygienist, who is lovely and gives the best clean! Dr Joe is incredibly talented. He applied composite bonding to my teeth last year and whilst they are much improved, they are still very natural looking which I am so happy about. He is a true artist.

Fantastic experience: Really lovely welcome, professional and polite. Efficient on-boarding process. The only slight criticism: hygienist ought to wear protective eye wear as part of their PPE. There’s so much debris floating around during the procedure: it really surprised me he chose not to. Fair enough he had the face mask. But debris can enter eyes etc. It’s more for him but it also suggests certain level of being lax about procedures. One other thing: dentist nor his dental nurse left the treatment room when x ray was taken. I reckon they should do: just because you cannot see it i doesn’t mean it’s not there in particular when we consider x-rays. Even if the radiation is delivered through a special nozzle etc. Personally, for top standard of adherence to regulations for this line of work, for patient’s reassurance and trust, I would gently revisit internal know-how, and train and monitor staff accordingly. The practice is clean and patient-friendly; many nice touches around such as relaxing Muzak in the waiting room; very friendly and professional reception staff; well stocked bathrooms; and a good array of quality magazines to glance over whilst you wait. Pricing is as expected of a dental practice in this London postcode adding to that the reputation of the founder, the late Dr Uchenna Okoye. Overall, definitely one to recommend.

However, the staff have been great reminding me of appointments via email, contacting me if there were any issues and explaining procedures in detail. Fantastic experience: Have received nothing but the best care at London Smiling. I initially came to see Dr Uchenna with my teeth in terrible condition, many broken and a lot of enamel lost. Today I had a permanent cap fitted without pain - only the triggering noise of the drills. Negative experience: I have never written a review before but after reading the last review I felt I had to. I had an initial consultation 13 weeks ago with Dr Uchenna paying a large sum if money for me for a consultation and x rays. Weeks went on I heard nothing I e mailed no reply. A few weeks after I rang and was advised yes it can take a while as Dr uchenna often discuses with other dentists the best treatment plan . Weeks passed again until last week received an e mail saying we haven't forgotten you and that you should hear from us in a week .....Still nothing. Clients should not be given consultations if follow up treatment cannot be provided within an acceptable time frame. Clients having to chase progress is also not acceptable and very unprofessional. It takes very little effort to respectably communicate with a paying client. Even if I hear shortly from the clinic my faith in investing any more has gone and wish to advise others that this is what they may experience

Negative experience: I had a great experience in my consultation and since then bad. Been waiting 5 weeks for a quote to come through. No one calls me back and I have called 3 times. I’m really upset as was looking forward to having work done here. So disappointed

Negative experience: I was very disappointed In my treatment I was seen for approx 20min, After arriving I waited over 15 minutes nothing was done . xray £185 + £125 for a 3D scan I was advice to see the hygienist for a further £185 which I declined I went for a clean up came out with nothing, but a lighter £££less smiling wallet

Iv been afraid of going to dentists all my life but wow that's not a problem at all now .whilst talking to uchenna she put me at ease & during my examination she is so very gentle and gave me a truly honest talking to about my teeth & cleaning routine In depth. (You dont get this at a normal dentist .or at least i havent .)Where I have been neglecting & moving forward .as to what i can do & use to help protect my teeth .The treatment I have received from uchenna is second to none & was amazing & totally pain free .I actually fell asleep during the process .much to my embarrassment !! . But uchenna took this as a complement .I was so relaxed . I have now had 3 visits and i have looked forward to each one .uchenna even asked what music i liked as she would play it for me in the background . Today I have finished my treatment and I can honestly tell you that the results are truly amazing . I cannot thank uchenna enough as the whole process has been a honour to received such amazing service with outstanding results . Nothing is too much trouble uchenna will freely answer any questions however small they might be and has given me such great advice . I purchased a few oral dental care items whilst on my visit & the prices were very good & mostly cheaper than a big high street chemist . I cannot thank uchenna enough & her team as the whole process has been so very efficient and as were going through a very difficult period in the UK with the covid 19 virus even booking in & recieving a online check in & very easy to fill in online health questionnaire other companies need to take a leaf from her & help keep people safe as her clinic do . Fantastic experience: Had some veneers by Dr Uchenna WOW......After years of not smiling due to my small stained teeth due to smoking and drinking coffee i might add. I now have a smile to die for, not only are they white they are bigger YES ....I smile all the time and people smile back :) and i look younger, the whole look of me has changed to one thats happy and full of life. I admit i'm not the best as visiting dentists but Dr Uchenna made me feel so relaxed. Everything from the initial consultation through the end result was done with so much ease, I cannot recommend this lady enough. Fantastic experience: I have recently had a lot of dentistry work done and as someone who is terrified of the dentist I could not recommend Dr Uchenna any more highly. She made me feel comfortable, safe and absolutely confident that she would look after me. I spent 7 hours in the chair and it didn't hurt a bit.
