Fantastic experience: I recently received complex root canal treatment from Michael Goldsmith at the Abbeymead Dental centre. The overall service provided was excellent . Following referral from my usual dentist and a prompt initial appraisal at Abbeymead I was given convenient treatment times and was able to park easily in the nearby Sainsbury car park in Chertsey . The reception team were friendly and efficient and the dental facilities used including high powered microscopes were first class . The treatment was well explained and I am very satisfied with the results which hopefully will extend the life of a key rear molar for many years.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and friendly dental practice that have helped me on numerous occasions with my teeth, from routine checks, to dental guards that prevent teeth wear. They appear to have the latest teeth cleaning equipment on my last visit that minimises discomfort when seeing a hygienist.

Fantastic experience: I had a replacement crown fitted without any injections and I did not feel a thing. The service i received was outstanding.

Fantastic experience: AJ, his dental nurse and all staff at Abbeymead were very supportive throughout my dental implant journey. AJ was both patient and understanding, offering reassurance for any concerns. Needless to say I am delighted with my new implant and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending AJ in the future.

Fantastic experience: Michael and his dental nurse were brilliant, I was there for two sessions, a total of over two hours work. There was absolutely no pain or discomfort, in fact, I think I even fell sleep at one stage! Michael put me completely at ease, is thoroughly professional and calm at every stage of the process and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Always a great service from Abbeymead Dental Centre. Fantastic experience: My daughter had a crown fitted. Dr Thomas Norlin was very professional, yet still kind and caring. He talked her through every stage to keep her reassured. Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for years now. Lovely staff and great treatments always. Had a check up and hygienists appointments on 12 th August 2025. Fantastic services, both. Egle who was on reception is such a delight. I have left a review about her before when I had an extraction. She is genuinely so kind. And just married! Also a special mention for Nina for her help with my bookings, emails and general lack of digital knowledge when issues arose. Thank you Nina, you are so patient. I grew up with a dentist in Glasgow in the 1970’s. Take it out was always their advise. I am a coward because of previous dentists but look forward to going to Abbeymead.

Positive experience: Can’t fault the dental nurses at all but what I will say is the reception girls are a little rude, they come across as if they don’t want to be there. Zero eye contact made and just general unwillingness, I felt a little awkward during my latest visit on Monday after 330, I felt like I shouldn’t be there and if I was an inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: Abbeymead Dental Centre is always fantastic. Been coming here for years and it’s always impressive with lovely people and the latest technology. Today, the hygienist used a new Airflow machine. Really effective and didn’t give the ‘oooh is it going to hurt?’ feeling. Much more comfortable and apparently cleans better. As an update my son broke his braces fixed wire a few days before we flew on holiday for 3 weeks. How good that Abbeymead managed to fit him in to have a new wire fitted before we went. Panic over. Great people.

Positive experience: I have been a patient here since they first opened. I have always found them very helpful and professional and the private treatments have been fairly priced. As other parients say it is a stress free experience and I always feel I am in safe hands. My concern from my recent hygienist visit was that I received an email telling me that they would be using Airflow and that there would be a price increase. I wish this had been discussed with me and offered as an option rather than the decision made for me. Consequently the cost since my last visit just over a year ago has gone from £62 to £85 which in percentage terms is huge, especially as I expected £70. The Airflow was okay, but personally I am happy with the manual process and didnt like the water which I found cold and messy. Though I appreciate this is a personal preference and many would be happy with the Airflow (as can be seen from reviewers) Please consider giving patients the option of using Airflow or having a manual procedure.

Fantastic experience: Had a Dental Spa treatment (airflow)with Brett today at Abbeymead. What a revelation! Took off stains that have been there for at least the past 30 years. I have sensitive teeth/gums but felt no discomfort whatsoever during treatment and after. Brett was very kind, helpful and informative. If you haven’t tried it I’d strongly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Emma Sepassi from my normal dental practice due to 2 very troublesome wisdom teeth. I had had trouble with them for years but was too nervous to get them seen to. Seeing Emma, she put me at ease and removed one of the wisdom teeth at the practice, however the other one was so troublesome she had to refer me to Ashford hospital. Emma assured me that she would perform my surgery at the hospital and it was successfully removed under general anaesthetic under her care. Emma is a truly caring and patient professional and I’m so grateful that it was her that carried me through this process. A true superstar!

He explained everything on each appointment and although not the nicest of treatments to have , I have had no discomfort after each appointment , he is clearly very skilled at his profession. The dental nurses on both appointments were excellent too.

Negative experience: I thought the dentist was rude. Not what you would expect for a 6 year old boy. She also made a comment that “we are lucky we got in as she doesn’t normally take NHS patients”. I have changed his dentist now and he is much happier.

The process was thoroughly explained end to end before we commenced. The local anaesthetic process was delivered with considerable sensitivity is my concerns were allayed. Fantastic experience: BRILLIANT!! I have been registered with Abbeymede dental for a number of years now and have always had a good experience. The staff are polite and it is easy to get appointments when required. In the past I have been registered with several dentists at other practices (not Abbeymede) who had made me feel nervous of attending dental appointments. Since I have been attending appointments with Dentist Bridget I have felt very comfortable and a lot less nervous. Dentist Bridget is absolutely brilliant, she talks through everything with you and is always happy to answer any questions. By far the best dentist that I have ever had. The hygienists are also very welcoming and friendly. They provide brilliant dental care.

Yes, it's expensive but I have to say 2 hours at separate appointments you can understand why. The skill of the dental surgeon and the dental nurse is amazing! I have been a client since they opened and have always had the very best of care - highly professional, efficient, well organised and friendly. This time was to remove a broken tooth (not had one out for 40 years!) and could not recommend my treatment more highly (thought not something I want to repeat often!).

Fantastic experience: I have just finished treatment of two implants and a new crown fitted at the Abbeymead Dental Centre with Dr Thomas Norlin and Egle, his assistant nurse. And the tooth extraction i had this week with Dr Raji Ranganathan was totally pain free, and remarkably quick (shame they wouldn't let me take the tooth home but after thinking about it that would actually be quite yucky), but yes, no problems at all. Fantastic experience: All I can say is AMAZING!! I was referred here by my previous dentist for a root extraction and was so impressed by everything that happened that day that I decided to register myself and my husband with Abbeymead instead. I was very anxious about the initial extraction but from the time I arrived until the time I left everybody was friendly and reassuring which in turn made me feel much calmer. The extraction itself was so quick that I hardly had time to register the fact that I'd had an injection!! I went last week for my first routine checkup with Brigette who was lovely and again reassuring and today I have been to see Alex the hygienist. I can honestly say that this is the first time I've ever been to a hygienist and come away with my teeth feeling properly clean. The other thing that my husband and I both noticed on our visits is that the first priority of all staff at the practice seems to be the oral health of the patients whether you are a private or NHS patient. There is no hard sell to encourage you to have any unnecessary treatment and all the options and the possible outcome of your decision are clearly explained without making you feel pressured. I also found out this morning that the 'receptionists' are also the dental nurses which explains their knowledge and ability to reassure anxious patients. The cleanliness is exactly what you want to see in any medical setting. I just wish my G.P surgery was half as clean as Abbeymead!! Who knew that I would ever look forward to visiting the dentist ☺. I don't usually do Google reviews but I honestly can't praise this dental practice enough and if you are a nervous patient, then this is definitely the place for you.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for many years of Dr Tina Tanna and I have always received such amazing customer service from the staff on reception through to treatment. Dr Tanna helped me personally overcome a fear of dentists and needles with her kind, welcoming and caring manner which has spread across her entire team. Whatever appointment I have with the dental team, I am listened to and treated with the utmost care and dignity. Throughout COVID-19 I was still able to access emergency treatment to the highest quality with all the necessary restriction and guidelines put in place. Dr Tanna and her staff are truly wonderful people and if you are weary of dentists they really will accommodate you and make you feel at ease!!!

Fantastic experience: I have now had a few wisdom tooth extractions performed by Dr Ranganathan at Abbeymead and each time she has been incredibly kind, patient and professional. The whole procedure lasts no longer than a few minutes but from start to finish she ensured that I was comfortable. All of the staff at Abbeymead, in particular Dr Tanna, have helped to create a calm and friendly environment, which helps to dissipate any nerves regarding surgery/appointments. I would not go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I’m a very nervous patient. I was referred to Abbeymead by my current dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction. I visited 3 times in total, one for x ray with practise manager Thomas who was lovely, then had communication with Paige I’m reception team, who took the time to send me a lovely email regarding me being nervous and trying to put my mind at rest. I had my last bottom set of wisdom teeth out at hospital under general, so as you can imagine I wound myself up so much about this one being taken out with no sedation etc. The dentist Raji who took my tooth out was amazing. She was kind and lovely, the injections was the worse bit I couldn’t be believe how quick it was done, no pain, no pressure at all. I cried in relief and told her she was amazing if I could hug her I would of. I will be switching to this dental practise as soon as they are taking on new patients again. Fantastic experience: Firstly this is my dentist practice who I find very good and very helpful. I have had a broken back tooth for a long time but was so scared to have it out. Knew could not carry on so last Friday I put my big girl pants on and Dr Raji Ranganathan and her lovely nurse Lucie literally took my tooth out in 5 mins I could not believe how quick it was. They knew how anxious I was and put me at ease so thank you so much

Fantastic experience: I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Dr Raji Ranganathan. I admit that I'm a nervous patient anyway and I've had a molar extracted before, but this time around my anxiety levels fit the roof and on the day of my extraction I had a major panic attack. Dr Raji was AMAZING!! She was extremely caring, and understanding and put me at ease immediately. She explained exactly what she was going to do step by step and said that i would feel some pressure and apologised in advance. The pressure may I say was a slight tug; in fact, I was expecting something so much worse and thought that was her preparing me but in fact, the tooth was out and it wasn't as though it was a wobbly tooth either. In all honesty, I felt extremely embarrassed that I had worked myself up to a frenzy but Dr Raji was sympathetic. 24hrs later I'm just feeling slight pain but that's understandable. Thank you, Dr Raji, you are most certainly an amazing specialist in your field. I would also like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Tina (for fitting me in so quickly), Selina and especially Jodie for being so caring and understanding when I was feeling extremely anxious on my run-up to the molar extraction. Jodie reassured me that everything would be OK especially as she too recently went through an extraction herself and she put me at ease. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Recently had my root canal done here. All the staff are friendly and set up the appointments for me quickly. The dentist (Luke) was fantastic. He worked quickly but always made sure he was giving me the best dental care he could, made sure to check if I was in pain or discomfort and if I was he would do something to rectify it.

Fantastic experience: Had two cracked wisdom teeth removed by Dr Arash Zhaker. I was really worried prior, but he made me feel very relaxed and both times the procedure was pain free. Fantastic experience: Excellent service 29 June, my son fell and put his front tooth through his lip, after hospital stitches, the dental surgery gave us an emergency appt same day and rebuilt the chipped front tooth - follow up in 2 wks - thanks to Dr Tina Tanna & her 2 assistants for making him comfortable through the process !

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr Thomas Norlin as my two front teeth were very eroded and discoloured. I was worried only veneers would fix this, which i really did not want. Dr Norlin managed to completely restore and rebuild my teeth with composite bonding. Cannot thank him enough. They are in excellent condition now, whiter and stronger. Fantastic experience: I had an apicoectomy procedure last week to cut out an infected root that could not be accessed from within the tooth itself. It was either an apicoectomy or a tooth extraction and as I prefer to keep my own teeth I chose the former. Too early to say whether it was 100% successful but the indications are good. Its always a bit of a leap into the unknown when you submit yourself to a new treatment so I was a little nervous at first. However it turned out to be a painless procedure carried out with the customary efficiency of the friendly team at Abbeymead. They even called me the following day to ask how I was feeling which I really felt went the extra mile.

Positive experience: I had a very painful molar and have visited several times recently. Booking is generally efficient and communication good but there are times when the phone is not answered or goes to voicemail for emergencies. I think this has been a very difficult time for dentists as for everyone and any criticisms should be seen in context. I have been a patient there for ten years and have had very good care generally. On this occasion I was seen initially on the day I booked for dental pain. I would have preferred to have the issue explored in more depth initially but maybe this wasn't possible in the time available. Unfortunately this left me in pain for a number of days. Following a further appointment with my own dentist, I was referred for more treatment and investigation and then an extraction. This was carried out within a few days and was done efficiently. My only criticism was being told by the oral surgeon the procedure was going to be difficult because of an adjacent implant. A warning about possible complications was necessary but it was alarming to hear this just prior to the extraction. I got the impression that there was time pressure also. This is generally a very good dental practice and my routine care is five star. My three stars above is for my recent experience only.

Fantastic experience: Our boys have seen Vanessa Fryer a few times now. She is super professional and is very patient. She takes the time to tell the boys about their teeth and educate them whilst having their check ups.

Fantastic experience: After a nasty fall of her bike, my 8 year old daughter visited Dr Thomas Norlin to fix a broken front adult tooth. This was very noticable and distressing for my daughter. I called up the Monday morning after the accident and Dr Norlin kindly fitted her in the same day as an emergency appointment. I think Dr Norlin could sense that both myself and my daughter were feeling quite nervous about the whole procedure, but his confidence and professionalism completely made us feel at ease that we were in good hands. He fixed her tooth in a way I can only describe as magic. She came out looking better than she did before her tooth broke. The colour, texture and everything is spot on. It's almost like I dreamed the whole accident as you simply can not tell by looking at her. I can't thank Abbeymead and especially Dr Norlin enough for what he did for my daughter.

Fantastic experience: Went there as referral, very professional and excellent service from the receptionist, nurses to super quick and experience Dr Arash Shahrak who did my tooth’s extraction pain free. Even had a call back to check on the healing progress, they really take care of their patient. Would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to go to Abbeymead Hospital by my Dentist complications with my tooth. I was so delighted with the service I received from Michale Goldsmith I found him very friendly , very polite, .his Dental Work was gold star and he informed me of what treatment he was doing at the time . I was in the chair for a long time and felt very confident with him. I am disabled and they made sure I was down stairs. Staff are very friendly Very Covid safe , very clean . . Overall I HIGHLY recommend them .
