Negative experience: Poor from start to finish. Only my 2nd visit and left the practice already. Very unprofessional and no faith in they know what they are doing or services they offer. Appt at 9.25 was running 45 mins late. Then the dentist asked why I was there. Thus was a follow up yo a previous emergency appointment. Surely details on my records? Turns out lady is not a dentist but a dental therapist. She could not do the appointment so tried to get me in with the person I saw as an emergency. That was not possible but she explained to the therapist what to do. The tests to my tooth were done. Wld need a referral for RTC. Her spoken English was poor so the dental nurse had to explain everything again. I was then asked to pay £75 for a root canal that I may or may not have in a years time if application was accepted. The manager happened to be at reception who then explained I would not beable to have a RTC on the NHS as I had been originally seen as an emergency. At that point I explained they could take me off their books as they clearly do not know what they are doing. Avoid this practice if you care about your teeth.

I came to the office in agony and left feeling pain free for the first time in a week. I'm a very anxious dental patient a d have a low pain threshold for mouth work. But everyone was so patient and lovely to me. This practice is a gem.

Fantastic experience: I don’t normally write reviews but I’ve had the pleasure to be treated by Dr Vekaria for a re root canal and abscess drain today. I found that first of all I was prioritised appropriately and given treatment in a timely manner. Communication was clear and obviously Dr Vekaria is honest and very competent. During the procedure I was continuously checked on and honestly I felt like I was part of the whole process (my usual dentists does not always communicate with me about what’s going on so I often get confused during the treatment). Just 6 hours after this procedure I feel like my pain has been reduced significantly and clear instructions were provided regarding post treatment care. Thank you so much Dr Vekaria and her assistant! Also thank you to the receptionist who took into account that I’ll need my registration put in onto the system as the procedure can take over 2 hours.

Negative experience: Awful Experience. Had a tooth filing a month ago and it's already come out. This problem has also occurred to a couple of my family members several times. The receptionist seems to be asleep, not answering phone calls and the only way to contact is by email. Still waiting for a reply, unable to eat from the right side of my mouth, absolute shambles. My tooth prior to getting a filling was doing fine with no pain, they decided to set me up for a filling after a check up, and now I got a huge hole in my tooth and one side of my mouth which I can't use to eat.

Negative experience: I have just had a horrible experience with this dentist. I attended with a family member with a disability. The dentist is situated in a massively unfriendly building for people with disabilities. It is on the first floor and the lift is on the opposite side of the building. Several corridors and 4/5 sets of doors have to be navigated to reach the dentist. Our appointment was at 1pm and we were called in an hour later. The door into the dental room is difficult to get into and you have to effectively pick up the wheelchair and get it into the room. There are no provisions to transfer a person with disabilities from their wheelchair into the dental chair. Family members are expected to do that. A clear safe guarding issue. There were ‘complications’ with the intended procedure, complications that we could have been pre-warned about on previous visits and he could have been referred then. The practice manager was not only abrupt, rude and aggressive but has zero empathy with people with disabilities. I know it is difficult to find dentists on the NHS but if you or a loved one has a disability, please spare them the indignity of visiting this dentist. You deserve better.

Negative experience: Aweful customer service. Disinterested receptionists, who don't answer the phone. You have to email to get a response. Never the same dentist, who rip you off inflating NHS tiers to their own gain. I have thankfully found a lovely dentist.
