Fantastic experience: After moving to Bourne End a few years ago I eventually changed my dentist, who I thought was excellent, to the local Bourne End Dental practice. I have seen Dr Alice Hayter twice in the past year and highly recommend her as gentle, competant, taking time to explain and show before and after photos of my repair. With no hesitation, I would say she is the best dentist I have ever had work on my teeth. No discomfort at all. I never thought I'd say this, as I had previously always been very stressed with any dental procedure, but it's a pleasure to be in such good hands. Thank you Alice.

Recently I needed some minor adjustments done, which is quite normal and pain-free. Throughout the process Steven was professional, friendly and thorough. Added to that the back room, staff are equally friendly and efficient. I cannot praise them highly enough. .

Negative experience: Dentist care excellent (as it should be) but hygienist care poor. Specialist hygienist not mindful of patient comfort and is unnecessarily robust in providing treatment (over 3 appointments). As someone who played rugby throughout younger life, I’m not a “shrinking violet”! I provided feedback to practice asking for someone to contact me but did not hear anything! I am now joining another practice.

Everyone I’ve ever come into contact with at this practice has been incredible with her, and I’ve been amazed by their kindness and honesty at every step. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Georgina the dentist and Lisa the hygienist. I have been to a few local dentists over the years but I haven't really found one that felt right. My experience here was amazing! Georgina was so friendly and made me feel at ease, and it just felt like a really nice judgement free environment. She was very knowledgeable and approachable, and walked me through the whole process. She really took her time and I didn't feel rushed or pressured at any time. Lisa also made me feel at ease, and I've honestly never had a hygiene as thorough. She also gave me really good tips on using interdental brushes. She told me which sizes would work and how to use them properly, which will change and improve the way I clean my teeth forever! There was also no attempt to upsell (e.g. teeth whitening/interdental brushes/other products), which might sound strange but I've had that before at other dentists and it's so offputting. Also, the receptionists were nice, approachable and helpful.

Negative experience: Would never go back here again. Treated badly by dentist and secretary made things worse. My implants failed but my money stayed in the dentist’s account. Ended up with plastic type denture. The most expensive plastic type denture in the country. Cost me thousands ££££s………..DISGUSTED! Thank you AC

Fantastic experience: I have worked in Dentistry for over 30 years, mostly as a Dental Nurse, but more recently as a Practice Manager and I can't recommend Bourne End Dental highly enough. I didn't expect to need their help on a personal level until our daughter had a horrific bike accident. The accident had left our daughter with a real fear of dental injections. I knew we needed the assistance of both an Endodontist who has experience of treating dental injury and a Practice that could provide sedation for the treatment. Along with the fabulous co-ordination from Jade, and the excellent chair side assistance from Demi, Dr Dehghanpour managed to carry out the treatment for our daughter yesterday without any issue and with great skill and empathy. Dr Ravalia from Dental Sedations made sure the sedation was very safe and that our daughter was comfortable and relaxed throughout and reassured us parents regularly. The whole team have been so kind and our daughter wanted me to point out that Demi is a legend

Latest technology used ie able to make a crown on site by use of a lazer printer which significantly speeds up treatment time. Parking on premises good. Have been using the practice for in excess of 25 years and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for an excellent dentist who is especially good at cosmetic work and a few people (including another dentist) recommended Andrew Chandrapal at Bourne End Dental. I am so thankful that they did! I had rather a lot of crowns which were very old and needed replacing. On top of that I had recently had one of the front ones replaced by another dentist (badly!) and my gum was inflamed. Over several months Andrew replaced all the old crowns and did some cosmetic work on my remaining real teeth which has made a huge difference. I am so happy with the final result! My teeth have never looked so great! Although they look better than they ever have - I think they also look really natural and my gums are healthy now which was important to me. I am so pleased with them - it is so lovely not to feel self-conscious when I smile now! I would have no hesitation in recommending this dentist. In fact I already have recommended him to a male friend who is also delighted with his work. Andrew is absolutely brilliant technically but importantly also has a great eye for what will look best. If I could give him 6 stars I would!

Fantastic experience: A sentence I never imagined saying but 'We had a fantastic experience at the dentist'. I absolutely can not praise Bourne End Dental - Eleni and her dental nurse enough. My 13 yr old daughter has ADHD and anxiety surrounding the dentist. When having work done, particularly if she needs to be numbed, my daughter requires sedation. After a bad experience with a different dentist we were referred to Eleni and OMG what a difference!! So kind and caring, really listened to any worries. Very gentle approach, made my daughter feel so comfortable. My daughter had two fillings while on the 'happy gas' with absolutely no fuss or tears. They were all absolutely amazing! Absolutely recommend.

(Thinking about it, I'm, actually more worried about Google. As well as everything else they already know about me, they now know my dentist too!)

Fantastic experience: I went in with extreme pain, which recurred every 30 seconds or so. Iced water was the only temporary relief. Andrew diagnosed a number of issues, worked out which tooth was the problem and painlessly worked for two hours on an emergency root canal. I genuinely came out smiling, on a conference call 30 minutes after departure and eating supper 3 hours later. A saviour!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Andrew Chandrapal for many years. I have needed a lot of dental work over this time. Andrew has given me two implants, a bridge, veneers, crowns and other bits and pieces. I am an extremely nervous patient, scared of anything dental and hate injections. Andrew though keeps me calm, and I very often (read every time I see him) end up laughing whilst in his chair. The work he does is exceptional, his knowledge immense, and his kindness is incredible. Also his injections don’t hurt (seriously). I have just finished a course of treatment with him which consisted of three maybe four appointments. At no point was I ever in paid (during or after treatment) and I am thrilled with the results. I would recommend Andrew to anyone. I call him a Carlsburg dentist…. Possibly the best in the world.
