Fantastic experience: Big shout out to Catarina and the team for fixing my teeth over the moon with the outcome. Iv had bad experiences at dentis and finally found one that is really good. Costs are a little higher then what Iv had in the past but you get what you pay for 10/10 see you in 6 months

Fantastic experience: I’m not great in dentists and they really were great with me. Having wisdom teeth and another huge tooth extracted and another one almost reconstructed followed by the hygienist i have to say I was very well looked after and the treatments were painless and efficient. Very professional and fantastic at keeping me calm. Best experience I’ve had in a dentist and I’m scared of having dental work done from experiences in the past with others. Thank you

Negative experience: Beyond poor level of aftercare despite a courteous request from the root canal surgeon whom they referred me to, writing a letter to Brooklands requesting they review my inlay. Brooklands clearly are only interested in monetising new care and cases and not fixing issues that have occurred after their treatment. This is private dentistry at its worst. Overcharging, ignoring other professional opinions, pushing unnecessary cosmetic dentistry and lack of aftercare. All of this in my own experience. I will be letting said surgeon know that they have neither bothered to contact me by phone or email or letter. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: I have tried so many other dental practices in Africa, Europe and the UK and none of those dentists can compare to Dr De Jager. He uses the latest techniques, is gentle and caring and knows how to handle sensitive patients. Every step is explained to put the patient at ease. The practice itself is in a great location, with plenty of parking and a friendly and helpful staff. Their computer systems are also top notch as is their after care.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist in over 10 years due to a very bad experience. My mother In law recommended Brooklands dental and I’m so pleased I listened to her. My teeth are in an awful state, I had a lot of tears leading up to my appointment and I cried in there too but Kirsty the receptionist was very reassuring, so kind and checked I was ok whilst I waited. Ana was amazing, she could see I was nervous but kept me calm, explained throughout what she was doing, put a dental plan in place with no pressure to commit to it. She didn’t judge the state of my teeth and was just so lovely and reassuring. I feel very confident that she is going to help me get my teeth and gums back on track so thank you so so much for your help and understanding

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Brooklands dental clinic for a number of years. Before going here I hadn't been to a dentist in over 20 years as I was petrified of dentists. However circumstances forced me to go. They were brilliant with me, kind, gentle and understanding. All the staff were fantastic. I have now been going for a long time and had lots of different treatments and I am finally over my fear. I highly recommend this practice for its kindness, efficiency and skill.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually write reviews, I’m doing it for 2 reasons. Firstly I can not find any words to thank, The hygienist ❤️Julieanne ❤️ I have seen her twice this week. 40 minutes for first visit and today was an 1hr. Due to circumstances, and being soooo frightened, and suffering with severe anxiety, I let my teeth get it to a state, which has caused bone loss and gum disease. I have seen many hygienists in my time. Unfortunately due to my fear and anxiety, I was always given a quick 20 minute clean, due to the sensitivity I had, and lack of patience from the hygienist, even with the injecting of the gums, I was into much pain. The only hygienist in 20 years plus, Julianne has been the only one that could do what I needed for years, and gave me a deep clean. She didn’t rush, spent time to numb my gums, she is an extremely gentle person, but got the job done. She would not allow me to have any discomfort. After my first visit on Tuesday, I was excited that there was a cancellation today, can’t believe I said that , even though I was anxious, I trusted her. I have actually done it. The other reason for this review, is for all the other people out there like me. If you have sensitive teeth, the last thing we think we can do is have our teeth cleaned, especially under the gums. Don’t worry, you really can, it all depends how qualified the hygienist is. It’s easy for me to say this now, and yes I will be anxious on my next appointment, but she really didn’t hurt me at all. Book with Julieanne, even though you might of experienced a painful experience before, hate the dentist, suffer with anxiety, and never been able to get a deep clean due to the pain from the water, noice, vibration. I had mine done pain free. I know I’ve got to try to save my teeth, and will be quite happy to go to Julianne So from someone who really knows, don’t need to be scared and see an exceptional lady. Fantastic experience: I have a real phobia of dentists but needed a tooth extracted so very reluctantly made an appointment here. All I can say is from the time I stepped inside the reception area until the time all my treatment had finished - the service was excellent. The staff are all so caring and understanding and made me feel at ease. All very friendly too. I have recommended a friend who has already made an appointment. I will be back in 6 months for a check up - which I have never done before. I always wait for a problem before I go to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: After years of being nervous around going to the dentist and after a lot of looking around I chose to use Brooklands. From the reception staff,the dental assistances to the dentists Dr Catarina and hygienist Julieanne The service has been exceptional Unfortunately I had 3 extractions and a filling but on all occasions each procedure was painless and I was looked after with empathy and understanding I Cant recommend the team enough

Fantastic experience: Best dental surgery! All the staff including receptionists, management and dentists are absolutely wonderful, they go above and beyond to help and to make you feel at ease. The practice is lovely, warm and inviting unlike some dentists which can feel really clinical and cold. Would 100% recommend if you are considering private dental work, I will never go to another dentist again. Thank you Brooklands!

Fantastic experience: After years of avoiding visiting the dentist due to anxiety, I had to book an emergency visit in 2020 when a molar cracked. I required several fillings, as well as a crown and later root canal for abscess to the cracked molar. I am very pleased that the molar is now fine and my dental health is a thousand times better. I have always had excellent, compassionate treatment at Brooklands Dental Clinic and would recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I called the surgery initially as I had lost a tooth the day before, I hate the dentists, have a real fear of them due to a bad experience years ago and was a complete mess! The receptionist couldn’t have been more lovely, encouraging and supportive on the phone. I think her name is Stephanie - she reassured me that I was going to be ok, they would support me and take the whole thing at my own pace. I arrived this week for my appointment and was immediately greeted by another lovely receptionist and my dentist Catarina. So far the whole experience is the complete parallel to previous experiences, everyone has been so understanding of my fear, reassured me and explained everything to me each step of the way. Today I had a hygienist appointment and exactly the same reception, I was a reassured, everything was explained to me and I felt in safe hands. So far the service I have received could make me cry! It’s taken me many years to be able to say I feel safe and comfortable going to the dentists and I think I have finally found the place where I can say that, which to me is priceless A special thanks to the receptionists who are amazing and a real credit as a patients first port of call.
