Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at Pond Square Dental. The atmosphere was unwelcoming from the moment I arrived. In particular, I found the management and reception to be extremely rude in their manner. The dentist and management also spoke in a dismissive way, not only to me as a patient, but also to their own nursing staff — which was uncomfortable and unprofessional to witness. Respect and courtesy should be standard in any healthcare setting, but unfortunately that was not the case here. I left feeling upset and undervalued, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking a friendly, respectful dental service. DO NOT GO THERE

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Pond Square Dental Practice for almost 18 yrs!!! Always excellent quality of care and treatment, attention to detail and patient care is always foremost. Yesterday I had my quarterly visit to the dental hygienist, Tania, who provided helpful hygiene tips.

Fantastic experience: Ellie and the entire staff were so friendly! I was also surprised by the sunlit examination examination room! They had cool air conditioning, and took time to explain things that my previous hygienist simply told me to do. They will also do hand scaling, as I can’t tolerate the ultrasonic scaler. I will be bringing my daughter here on Saturdays when they have a special day for paediatric dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Patricia and Ellie have been an extraordinary tooth cleaning team for me! Have had two sessions and will be back soon, because I’m not nearly as good at keeping my teeth clean as they are.

Negative experience: At my first appointment with this clinic in January, I had to wait outside in a near by Cafe before seeing Dentist Vatchi, which left me already speechless. I then changed my mind about going back again and cancelled. The receptionist then refused forwarding the CBTD performed, which was paid in full. The reception team is rude and poorly managed. Unfortunately, I also had the impression that the practice of Dentist Vatchi was mainly money orientated.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t ask for a better service from Joyti Vasudev (Orthodontist). Thoughtful and thorough - I would recommend Joyti without hesitation

I usually come here for my hygienic routine, and though I often see a different hygienist each time, they all do exceptional work to the highest standards. The cleanings are thorough, and the staff is always friendly and readily explaining everything regarding the treatment. During my consultation with Vatche, I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail and the high standard of care provided. Everything was thoroughly explained during the consultation, and overall, it struck me as a very professional setting. I also brought my small kids for routine checkups, and though they didn’t require any treatments yet, the experience was very positive—they didn’t even want to leave! The clinic is nice and bright with high-tech equipment that definitely adds to the experience.

Fantastic experience: Jyoti and Ellie have provided me with personable and impeccable clinical care in making my sleep apnoea mouth splint. Mandibular splints are a niche skill that few dentists can do so it’s great to have found Jyoti. I couldn’t be happier!

A very nervous patient after a bad experience age 4 meant this would be a difficult journey. I couldn’t have been in better hands. Vatche and his team were reassuring, understanding and informative throughout the treatment. Taking care of the nerves, helping to plan treatment around my work and providing advice on aftercare. And now they support my ongoing care and ensure we stay on track. I cannot thank them all enough, an amazing team and great practice.

I was impressed with both the professionalism of the team and quality of treatment. Getting my teeth cleaned with the airflow was great, it removed all the stains from my teeth and was very gentle. Fantastic experience: I have just undergone a years treatment, Dr Vatche and the team always took really great care, put me at ease when feeling a little nervous. However it is very professional and you are always presented with a choice of relevant treatments. Impressed how everything explained in detail. Nothing is too much trouble. Work is consistently of high standard. 24/4/24 Just had a hygienist’s appointment with Patricija and Nurse Aeiona which was very thorough, informative throughout. So helpful with extra info when you ask, nothing is too much trouble.

Fantastic experience: Very highly recommended. We're a family who have been patients of this dental practice for a long time. Between us we've had a wide range of treatments here (general check ups, implants, periodontal treatment, fillings, whitening, regular hygiene...) so our review is based on significant experiences with the team over the years. I'm currently in the latter stages of my Invisalign treatment with Dr Shams and I'm so pleased with the results, it has totally changed my confidence when I smile now. The team are also fantastic with my little girl which means a lot to me. We can't not mention Dr Kassardjian (the owner), who is very particular about providing exceptional dentistry and patient care. It's just a lovely dental practice all round.

Fantastic experience: Top quality dental work. Take it from an American. Had several different issues looked at/resolved well with very little pain. Even gave me birthday flowers when dental work was required on my special day. Dr. Vatche and nurse Aljona were splendid today with my fillings, but honestly everyone there is great-- they care about their patients and providing quality care. Only suggestion is to have fewer appointments to get to an outcome. Hygienist and follow up from the doctor in one appointment, investigation and actual work in one or max 2 would be ideal.

Have visited them several times but just yesterday doctor Patricija Sleinyte and her assistant Aljona did a really great job making my teeth literally completely white despite my smoking and black-tea- and coffee-drinking habits! (Not saying it does not affect other aspects of my dental health, but for now all stains have disappeared!) Many thanks to Patricija and Aljona – I really appreciate their efforts!

Fantastic experience: Just had another very thorough dental hygeine session with Patricija, and her nurse Aljona. I find that Patricija always has a caring and encouraging approach to what she does, and explains everything carefully and simply. She also has a way of achieveing excellent results with the minimum of discomfort to the patient, which of course, is the ideal scenario. Another big tick for Vatche's excellent dental practice.

Fantastic experience: My most recent hygienist appointment was with Elena and Aljona, who were great. The advice I've had from Elena over a few sessions has improved my teeth so much. I've been going to this dentist for years, because Vatche, who founded it, is a brilliant dentist. Really cares about his profession. I had a crown a few years ago, and the attention to detail was so impressive - he kept returning it to the lab until he was entirely satisfied it matched my teeth, which made a real difference as it's a front tooth! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Professional and friendly. I felt I was in safe hands with Ani from the get-go. Everything was explained clearly and I was in no discomfort throughout a long procedure involving the root of a molar. More work to come but I'm no longer dreading it. After several experiences with botched or inferior dental care I really appreciate having found a practice that I can have confidence in.

Fantastic experience: Recently had my wisdom teeth removed. I was extremely anxious of the procedure, Dr Eleni was very patient and understanding. Explaining the process and took care in the undertaking. Nurse Maria provide additional comfort and support. Both were very professional.

Fantastic experience: Vatche has been treating me for a few years now. I would recommend him without reservation. Appointments follow a textbook pattern of some banter back and forth before a clear explanation of the treatment and then the chair goes back. I have had fillings and a crown with Vatche and all of them have stood the test of time and I have never had any problems after the treatment. I would thoroughly recommend Vatche and his team.

State of the art equipment, top notch care and advice. Great with kids too—my daughter has been a patient for five years and goes in with a smile and comes out with a smile.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dental practice. You're in safe hands here. Camilla, one of the hygienists, and Rihanna who was helping her were excellent. Clearly knowledgeable, and investigated more sustainable tooth care options when I asked. Pascal, who extracted my wisdom teeth, handled a complex and long tooth extraction exceptionally well. It had a curved root which then split in two part way down, so difficult in multiple ways. Alina who was helping him was very efficient. Another dentist (whose name I can't remember, I am so sorry) was also excellent. Took a cat scan if my teeth and explained what was wrong with my wisdom tooth in a way that was respectful and decent.

Fantastic experience: Just had my teeth cleaned by Camilla. Fantastic job. I've had many cleans over the years but none like this. Millie was very gentle , used gel everywhere to numb the pain and even though I had a lot plaque it all came off and then she showed me how to clean properly. Exceptional service

Fantastic experience: I was terrified of having my teeth cleaned due to my sensitive teeth and horrible past experiences, but Camilla was super understanding and calming. The cleaning was brilliant, i didn't feel a thing... i almost fell asleep! Wouldn't go to anyone else to have my teeth cleaned now. Lovely practise.

Fantastic experience: I suffered from chronic infections from impacted wisdom teeth, so I knew they had to go. I’d never had any teeth removed before so I was a little nervous - I felt a bit like I was jumping in the deep end with all four wisdom teeth removed at once! I needn’t have worried. The procedure was quick and painless, and I felt at ease. I’m not a nervous dental patient, but it’s exactly not something I look forward to, however, the team at Pond Square are brilliant, and make the whole thing as pleasant as can be.

I am of certain age and know a good, honest, efficient dentist when I see one and Dr Vatche Kassardjian and his team of specialists and support staff give the best service I have ever encounterd. Most of my family now attends and we know our smiles are safe in his hands.

Fantastic experience: My experience of having treatment at this practice has all been positive. Melania is always friendly and helpful. Vatche spends time explaining the treatment process and taking you through the stages of the procedure and different options. You feel you are being looked after well. The hygiene standards are always good and especially during the pandemic. The practice is also situated in picturesque Pond Square so is always a pleasure to visit the area. Also it helped being able to watch a film while treatment was being done!
