Negative experience: This was my very first time at this dentist and I will never return! I had an appointment booked for 16:50-17:00 - unfortunately due to lack of parking in buntingford I was running 4 minutes late. When I entered I wasn’t greeted by the receptionist and was told to sit down after letting her know who the appointment was for. The nurse then comes out 1 minute later to tell her to cancel the appointment as everything had been packed away. The receptionist then proceeded to tell me I was late for a 5 minute appointment as it is 16:55 which I completely understand (I did however expect maybe a 5-10 minute grace period like GP surgery’s) however this is booked for a 10 minute slot which I stated and she insisted it was only a 5 minute slot. The dentist then come outside to tell me the appointment only takes 5 minutes despite being booked for 10 and everything has been washed and sterilised… I was 4 minutes late so I would like to know how well this is being done in 4 minutes. Overall - rude staff, could have dealt with the situation A LOT better. Quite clearly don’t care for NHS child customers as they aren’t paying

Fantastic experience: made me feel at ease at Every step he took, he patiently explained beforehand, which helped me relax completely, calmed my nerves in a way I didn't expect. Honestly, I'm not usually the easiest patient for a dentist, but his kindness and care made all the difference. I won't hesitate to return now—I truly hope he stays because I’ve finally found someone I can trust.

Fantastic experience: I don't have any experience of other dentists, but every visit I have had they have been immediately ready to see me or my child even if I turn up 5-10 minutes early. They are efficient, and friendly, even when causing (what I am sure is unavoidable) pain.

The clinic (and Sophie at head office) have been so supportive and gone the extra mile to get this resolved for me. Raj is one of the best dentists I’ve had, I really appreciate his patience and support during these procedures.

Fantastic experience: I have a major phobia of Dentists due to some very bad experiences in the past and major anxiety. I lost a part of an old filling and a piece of tooth so built up the courage to attend Buntingford dental care. I saw Shaun who was very reassuring considering I am such a quivering nervous patient, he explained everything and was incredibly gentle, I didn’t even feel the injections and was unaware they had been done! The filling was quick and I honestly didn’t feel anything, I have another small filling which needs doing and although I will never relish going to the dentist but Shaun made the experience much more bearable. My only gripe would be that I felt the receptionist was not overly welcoming and quite sharp, many people are anxious visiting the dentist and I felt she wasn’t particularly warm with her approach.

I have had some really bad experiences with Dentists but they are different here. I would recommend them to anyone. They help you rather than the constant selling found at other places. Fantastic experience: Buntingford Dental Clinic (colosseum) is the nicest dental practice I’ve ever attended. The staff are super friendly yet very professional. They help you feel relaxed and confident in their care. Raj is super friendly and professional, he explains everything so clearly. He shows xray/scan results and highlights problem areas that need attention. He always asks if I understand and if I have any questions. Absolutely brilliant. I have every confidence in his abilities and dental care.
