Fantastic experience: Since joining this practice two years ago I’ve noticed such a difference in my tooth care. My dentist, Dr Senghani, advised me how to clean my teeth and take better care of them. Spending a bit more time cleaning, but also using a mirror to keep an eye on what’s going on, has really helped me to understand how to better look after my teeth. I wish someone had taken the time to tell me this years ago! My hygienist is also excellent, and together they make going to the dentist something to look forward to rather than to dread!
Fantastic experience: I’ve completed my Invisalign here and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of clinic! Dr Shahid is very good at explaining the entire process, he made me feel comfortable throughout the whole journey. All the staff are exceptionally wonderful at providing high quality customer service. The manager, Eleni is very helpful and knowledgeable, I felt supported throughout my entire experience. Fantastic experience: We can’t recommend this dental practice highly enough. Receptionists are great, lovely premises and Dr Sharma is amazing. Very happy here
Negative experience: In general good service and always helpful receptionist. I was very unhappy after my last visit as for the same treatment I paid twice more what I paid a year ago. To be specific, for white filling I paid £105 at the end of 2023 and now end of 2024 it came up to £195. There is no regulatios for it by law so they can do whatever want with the prices. But I felt really astonished and in shock when I got bill for two fillings. This was my last visit of this surgery.

The filling carried out during your recent visit was significantly larger and more complex than the one over a year ago, which is reflected in the cost. As with many practices, some fees have also increased due to rising operational costs.
We also wish to note that, despite a previously missed appointment without the required notice, we did not apply a late cancellation fee as a gesture of goodwill.

Fantastic experience: I have been registered with this practise for many years and have always received an excellent Service!. Receptionist are friendly and the clinicians are knowledgeable and always have a professional manner. I had a cracked tooth which happened suddenly, the other day. I called the practise on a really busy day to be seen , I spoke with Bill the receptionist, who was really helpful, she said they were fully booked but managed to squeeze me in to be seen that morning by a dentist. The dentist identified the problem, treated me and discussed further treatment that was required. Nothing is ever too much for them .. Thank you for looking after me!

Fantastic experience: Fernleigh Dental Practice…. Ok let’s start, This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team was very professional examining my personal circumstances and providing with solutions by priority. I had to do a lot of work due to my pyorrhea, and Dr Ashis Sharma did a great job, I felt that I could trust him from the beginning as well as he make me feel I was in good hands. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me despite I was late for my appointments most of the time, from Lucky to Eleni Practice Manager. I can only recommend the Dental Prezcrice as the experience was and is outstanding!! This People really put a smile back to my soul. Angelo Ferraro

Negative experience: I have been a private patient at this practice for a long time and generally the experience I have received has been a good and professional one. However following the need to postpone an appointment I was then inundated with unnecessary and frankly quite stressful phone calls from different receptionists (who clearly don’t talk to each other) needing the whole thing re-clarified over and over again. Having rescheduled my appointment, I thought that that was that. Then without any reference ( or even a courtesy phone call) I received a text offering a more recent appointment which following a phone call to the surgery to clarify ( apparently it was a cancellation), I accepted. On arrival I was then asked to redo my personal details ( having already completed the whole thing online two days before). At this stage I have become rather irritated which is a shame because this chaos was not created by the receptionist. The computer systems are clearly not fit for purpose. Please do something to sort this out Fernleigh practice. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Lovely friendly and helpful service from reception staff to all the denists and the hygienist. I've been at this practice since a child and seen staff come and go, but regardless, they still offer an excellent service and are a practice that I trust.

Fantastic experience: Amazing practice. Incredible dentists. Very friendly staff always going that extra mile for patients. Always feel welcome coming here. Nice family feel to a practice and when nervous they do their best to make you feel at ease. A great practice. Fully recommend everyone to fernleigh dental. The practice manager eleni is great and any issues she resolves them quickly, she is on the ball and sure knows how to run a practice properly.

Fantastic experience: I cant praise all the staff enough.Despite the fact that visiting dentist is extremely stressful for me, I had an amazing experience.The dentist was great.He was patient and understanding and made me feel comfortable.Front desk staff and nurses - you guys are great. I honestly do not feel worried about my next visit and this is after years of anxiety.Cannot thank you all enough.
Negative experience: Have lost £40 in deposits. Practice doesn’t send reminders for appointments. Waiting time for a visit is on average three months. Wasn’t particularly impressed with the clean and scale I had previously so will be looking for a new practice. Shame as I always try to use local services.
We are disappointed to hear about your recent experience. I would be more than happy to discuss things in more detail to try and understand why you have not had any reminders because this is actually something that we do as a matter of routine.
The deposit is taken in order to secure the appointment with the Hygienist, and is only retained if patients fail to attend or fail to give adequate notice to cancel. It by no means covers the cost to the practice when this occurs. Our team will only make appointments for patients at times that they agree to based on their own timetable and schedule. We do generally say that although reminders by sms or email are sent, we advise that you make your own note of the appoontment as the reminders can not always be relied upon because on occasion we can experience technical issues which mean the reminders are not received.
I do sincerely hope that you get in touch with our Practice Manager so we can investigate more closely and make any improvements if there is found to be a problem from our end.
