Negative experience: If I could give this place 0 stars; I would. Got told I needed a few fillings, was told white composite wasn't on the NHS list, paid out over £700. First time I left, my teeth felt gritty where they werent polished after being fitted, in addition, one of them fell out two days later! Went back to get the tooth fixed and dentist told me nothing was wrong; despite me now being in a lot more pain than before I originally turn up here. Over £700 down the drain and my teeth feel more wrecked. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years and never had a bad experience. I recently had to wait over 7 months with no response from an NHS hospital in regards to a wisdom tooth removal referral. This practice helped me get it removed privately there when I couldnt cope with the pain anymore, and it was all done in 20 mins and such a smooth operation. I only wish Id asked sooner about it and saved myself a lot of discomfort!

Fantastic experience: Had my first lot of treatment today at the Dental Health Centre with Dr K Ghauni, ( not sure if that is the correct spelling). And I have to say it was the best experience I have ever had in a dentist chair. Both Dr Ghauni and the dental nurse were so gentle, professional and caring and from someone who is really scared I think I have been cured of my worries. Thank you so much for the excellent work you carried out.

Negative experience: Had a first appointment with these guys last week as an emergency, great and went as planned, given antibiotics and re booked in for a couple of days later to go with either a root canal or an extraction Came for an appointment, nothing, not even a look in the mouth, they didn’t even know why I booked in, nothing in the notes to say either was booked in, had a 5 minute chat about my pain and what to do next. Then got charged just for this!? I’m never coming again, will stick to my usual dentist

Fantastic experience: Love this dental surgery. Staff are really helpful and I really must praise Leslie the dental hygienist: in all my days of getting my teeth cleaned she is the best. Very friendly and I didn't feel a thing. I'm actually looking forward to my next clean. Thank you Leslie and all the team!

Positive experience: Had to go in for an emergency check on upper left molar. Staff were all lovely and polite, especially the dentist & assistant I saw. Had to bring my 2 y/o with me and she always gets scared going to the dentist even if the appointment isn’t for her. The dentist and his assistant were very helpful in keeping her calm, assuring her that I was fine. Once the appointment was finished, they let her see the xray of my teeth, and gave her a couple of stickers & a high five for “helping daddy to stay brave”. If I was local, I’d come here everytime. Only downside is there doesn’t seem to be any actual parking, so I had to park on the curb right outside which I’m not sure was legal on my part! (Hence why I’ve not put 5 stars)

Negative experience: Maryland bridge was done brilliantly and cost me £70, I was told by the dentist that if I had a extra work done privately (extraction and few fillings) they would do new bridge work on the NHS as mine are 26 years old. had the extraction done today and inquired about the bridges on the NHS to be told no it was £1k on private and it's wasn't an option on nhs at this practice.. so not only did the dentist miss sell me work I could of got done in the NHS dental practice ( just long wait) they then change the terms of contact... I asked if the next filling would be standard or a Root canal, he said he wasn't sure even though I had paid for X-rays... I wasn't told this till after I paid £330 and a £100 deposit for the next appointment... I paid for the work done and was refunded the deposit for the next appointment as I wasn't being taken for a ride any more. the reception stuff where very helpful and apologetic, stay away from this place they just try to up sell you and con you out of your money

Fantastic experience: Only started here a few months ago but my dentist is very thorough, knowledgable and great at communicating. I used to hate going to the dentist but don’t fear it at all now. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I did some product photography for this company at a reduced rate to help grow my new business. They scheduled for a shoot on a Saturday, paid the deposit, then changed the day to a Sunday, they were an hour late, they were requested to clear the remaining balance on the day of the shoot. I completed the task and requested the payment, I have sent reminders, and duplicate invoices, facebook messages, emails and texts. I still do not have the remaining balance. This is a bad paying company. I'm out of pocket, which is not fair.

Negative experience: Been waiting 35 minutes for an appointment and got absolutely nothing , barely any dentists in the establishment and just overall dissapointing. If you need to be somewhere after the dentist i would stay away from coming here

Negative experience: Moved here from London and needed a Dentist, this was the only place accepting new patients. Worst dentist ever. They just want to take your money. Have found a much better dentist now in Dunmow. Worth the travel. After visiting here I had to go to Broomfield hospital with abscess due to there negligence. The dental assistant told the doctor I may have abscess, however the dentist said No and said it was normal after wisdom tooth extraction. After 2 weeks my face was double the size and was admitted to hospital for a week.

Negative experience: Can’t put into words how awful this dentist practice is . Say one thing and another and they haven’t even done it , was meant to be referred over two months ago called up to chase them up about it and they haven’t even referred me for the treatment which is emergency treatment. Absolutely appalling. Tried to call them back regarding this and they just say call back in such hours I call back and I get the same response call back in such hours . Don’t bother going to this dentist

Fantastic experience: I have complex health issues, including oral crohns disease, a loose tooth was extracted, as painless as I have ever experienced. The Dentist has gone out of his way to help me with my tooth and gums. This is my first visit, I am a nervous patient but What if you think is best for something I am not so nervous now!!

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting treatment. This dental practice used to be owned and managed by a beautiful human. Now under new management! Beware everyone I paid for 2 private fillings, 1 fell out. It is warrantied for 1 year, refused to refill then fell out a month later, said it was a different tooth, It was not ! And refused to refill and infact cancelled me as a customer! So I can't go back to them if I have a problem with other one too ?? ! The last appointment was cancelled whilst I was in the car travelling to my appointment by him ! Beware !!

Fantastic experience: Great service! Visted the clinic today with just a check-up booked in. I was greeted by friendly staff and following a small wait, I was seen by one of their dentist who advised that I needed a hygienist appointment and fillings. After checking calendars, he was able to get both of those extra items sorted straight away, avoiding me from making multiple trips to and from the dentist at a later date. Thanks to the flexibility and understanding of the staff, all three appointments were completed in an hour and a half on the same day.

Lovely and friendly staff and the dentist that I've seen a couple of times was so wonderful, and as an extremely nervous patient, that's saying something! My dentist even remembered me which was comforting also. Everyone really put me at ease and the practice feels calm and welcoming. I called them expecting a rejection, but when calling the dental health centre .i same day my Mum registrar . Rellay wonderful people, everyone meets you with a smile. My mother's doctor was excellent. She decided to love them so much and ruin everyone because of them

Negative experience: Hi I’m afraid of dentists I went few years without going in and needed multiple fillings and they said one of my teeth was filled by them but as I got feeling back I realised there was still a hole and said come back in 3 months for the next lot and now my tooth is cracked even more when it should of been filled

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Dr Parkash Ahuja & his team for an excellent experience at his dental surgery. I’ve left it a couple of months just so as I could give a true account of the fantastic professional care that I experienced. I had 6 implants & 9 crowns in my the treatment. As mentioned I’ve waited to leave a review, I wanted to get used to whole experience of treatment. I feel great, my mouth is very comfortable and I now have great confidence while I’m eating. Fantastic experience: I recently had the absolute privilege of being treated by Dr. Anish Kothari at The Dental Health Centre in Witham, and I cannot emphasize enough how exceptional my experience was. As a 54-year-old man with an irrational and almost unbelievable fear of needles and dentists, I had managed to avoid any dental work for my entire life. However, last week, I found myself in excruciating pain that was nothing short of biblical, and I had no choice but to seek immediate dental attention. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, Dr. Anish put me at ease in a way that I never thought possible. He took the time to sit down with me and thoroughly explain the entire procedure before even touching any instruments. This level of transparency and compassion immediately began to alleviate my anxiety. During the extraction itself, Dr. Anish continued to put my comfort and peace of mind first. He assured me that if I ever felt uncomfortable or needed a break, he would stop the procedure immediately. This promise, coupled with his calm and professional demeanour, was a tremendous source of comfort throughout the entire process. My greatest fear was, of course, the dreaded needle. Fantastic experience: After my dentist at my local practice left halfway threw treatment and with no replacment I found this dentist 80 miles away from my home that was taking on NHS patients as there was literally no one closer. I was given a new patient appointment within 3 weeks and had that today. The dentist listened to all the issues I've had and tried to explain everything before he did it. He explained thus will be an ongoing process and even fitted me for dentures at my appointment today and gave me my 3 follow up appointments too. I left here feeling alot better than when I went in as previous experience has me quite anxious of the enviourment; I also didn't feel judged or looked down on at any point for my mouth having gotten this bad, which again is an experience I've had elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: After being on waiting lists in my local area for over a year for an NHS app managed to get an appointment with these with less than a weeks wait. Was seen 5 mins early and out within 15 mins after having X-ray and filling. The receptionist was kind and helpful and the dentist was lovely. As someone who has severe anxiety due to childhood trauma he made me feel as comfortable as he possibly could.

Negative experience: The dentist and ladies at reception are nice but do not give you full care for your money. If your a NHS patient it clearly states for the first band you get a check up and full clean but with this dentist they want to send you to a hygienist and charge extra for the cleaning. All they care about is making that extra money.

Fantastic experience: The Dental Health Centre has been brilliant at tackling a broken front tooth post and some other issues that have arisen over time. I would recommend their services from personal experience, whether it be a simple filling, tooth removal or implant work. The team approach between the staff and dentists makes you feel looked after and able to smile again

Negative experience: It is absolutely disgusting and disappointing. I only chose this place because it was the only one in the area taking new NHS patients. They only want money and don't care about patients' welfare. Last time, the dentist could not fit the crown and wanted me to pay for the expenses to send it back to the lab to get a new one. Even recommended white one to get more money out of me. I paid in full and did not get anything in return. The dentist was always late, a minimum of 30 minutes over the appointment time and one time even over one hour. I have never experienced something so bad as this. Stay away if you want to keep your teeth and money!

Fantastic experience: I visited for the first time yesterday, being unable to find a dentist where we live since moving back to the area. The appointment was on time, the dentist very welcoming & polite. Although I was booked in for an initial checkup he treated a problem straight away & a troublesome wisdom tooth removed! Almost felt like an old fashioned, very good service. No pressure to have any unwanted treatment. An excellent experience. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: After recently joining the practice I was quoted for some dental treatment on a private basis but after investigation on the day of the treatment the dentist was actually able to do 75% of the work under the NHS charge bands, meaning that it cost me significantly less than expected. Great service!

Fantastic experience: My teenage son recently had to have root canal treatment and has received excellent care at this practice. Dr Prakash Ahuja was gentle and understanding when he realised how anxious my son was and managed the situation very well. I am very happy with our experience at this practice.

Fantastic experience: Appointment today greated by cheerful professional staff.i was seen by Mr Prakash Amuja +his nurse.both absolutely brilliant gave full explanation and options including potential risks.he carried out what was a difficult extraction under local sedation.the damaged tooth had been causing referred pain to my ear that immediately eased I honestly could have cried with relief.full post procedure advice given both verbally+written.surgury was spotlessly clean and correct infection control measures carried out at all times.i am now home and the joy of being pain free is amazing.i can not thank Mr Amuja and team enough .highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting this dental practice, now led by Dr Prakash Ahuja, for over three years and have found the team of dentists, hygienists, dental nurses and receptionists to be kind, friendly, careful and skilled. They offer a personalised service with an emphasis on conservation rather than unnecessary, expensive treatments and provide both NHS and private treatment. Dr. Prakash Ahuja has done an excellent and careful restoration job with my own teeth and fully discussed the treatment options with me. Be prepared to wait if a previous patient requires extra time, but usually you do not have to wait long...I would certainly recommend the Dental Health Centre.

Negative experience: Had an appt booked 8 weeks in advance deposit was taken on booking. Day before appt received a courtesy call to confirm I would be attending which I confirmed. 2 hours before the appointment I received a call saying that the dentist was not taking new patients and the appointment was cancelled. I was also told that my deposit would not be refunded because the receptionist didn't have authorisation to do this.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist in witham!! Been with them for a couple of years now. I've used all the local dentists at some point or another as I've lived in witham most of my life! I would never go anywhere else again and highly recommend. I had Sarah do my tooth extraction and she was so good. I'm a very nervous patient due to some bad outcomes at other places, but she has over comed my fears. Also the gentlemen hygienist (the only one who can do numbing injections) I can't remember his name,but he is just amazing and so gentle ( I have gum disease hense sore gums) I now don't need numbing as he is so good!! I trust him 100% I won't use any other dentist or hygienist now, both for keeps Thank you guys

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience. I’m normally very nervous going to the dentist. My dentist Dr. Prakash Ahuja and his assistant Natacha was amazing and made the experience so much nicer for me!!

Negative experience: We had an appointment at 9am. By 9:30am the dentist was still not even in the practice. We had to leave due to work commitments as we had no idea when she would be at work. Unfortunately a waste of time and quite unprofessional. I am unsure of the dentist's name however in future we ask that she informs the practice and patients she will be this late so their time is not wasted. I sadly can't speak for the rest of the dentists or practice, however on this occasion we left disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Dr Marzbani as a patient for about 10 years. He has always been kind and attentive to my dental needs. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience: We have been using this dentist for approx 15 years. They are amazing. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Our dentist is wonderful, he is always welcoming and makes you feel at ease. My children have been visiting this dentist since they were young they are now 20 and 17. He has always made them feel very relaxed and comfortable. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Positive experience: I’m not a fan of dental visits i find them slightly traumatic (because i know it’s going to hurt) but finding a dentist that automatically sets you at ease with his banter and the staff there are always professional, polite, courteous and genuinely pleasant people has made the experience a lot easier, very glad i’ve found this one and i’ll totally recommend to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I took my 5yr old daughter in with a broken tooth and the gentleman was amazing, he made her feel comfortable and constantly talked to her throughout the procedure. She came away excited and feeling brave. Thank you for your high level of service. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.
